"Yeah, I'm almost done getting ready. Hm, uh-huh, see you and the others in fifteen then? The usual place right? Yeah sure okay, see ya!" Taehyung hung the call and threw his phone on the couch before picking up a pair of tight black leather pants and inspecting them for a moment.

Just then a knock was heard at his door, followed by a gentle 'hello?'. He hummed a 'come in', a smile making its way onto his lips when he sees Jisoo, his dearest sister in law welcoming him with a huge smile.

"How are you TaeTae?" She beamed, bringing the boy into a bear hug which the boy gladly returned, "Sorry i couldn't greet you earlier, Jennie and I had gone down to the bakery for the bread basket bowl for lunch. We had no idea you were gonna be coming in earlier than expected. You surprised us!"

"Well that was the plan but Namjoon hyung had to thwart it for me." Taehyung whined getting an endeared chuckle in return which made him whine some more. His Jisoo noona was always so loving to him. "Where's Jennie Noona?"

"Here!" The said woman announced, turning their heads towards her direction as she swayed in with her usual swag,"What's up big boy? Getting ready for somewhere?"

"Hello to you too Noona," Taehyung rolled his eyes playfully before throwing away his jeans and picking up another one with many rips and holes,"'m going out for a welcome party with friends, what do you think about these?" He said waving around the new pair, open to their suggestions. His sisters' in law (and to be) had always been a great help with fashion advice, what with the other men in the house being too manly for his liking.

"Yeah I like this one, go for some fishnets underneath them and..." Jennie sauntered over to his walk in closet, humming for a minute or two before emerging out with a bright shimmery top in her hand," Couple it with these and you're good to go!"

"Oh thank you noona! You're the best!" Taehyung gushed, giggling with his sisters before rushing into his closet to get dressed. A few moments later he returned and posed in front of the awaiting females, giggling all the way as they showered him with praises and hollers.

The digital clock on his bedside table pinged, indicating it was time to leave and he bid a goodbye to the ladies, quickly shimming into a pair of boots and grabbing his wallet and keys. He made his way downstairs before bumping into his oldest hyung who was on his way to the first floor.

"Whoa whoa! Where are you off to lil bro?" Jin asked him, folding his hands across his chest and narrowing his eyes at the youngest.

"To the club, with friends," Taehyung singsonged, trying to get around the taller and leave when he felt a hand on his shoulder, stopping him.

"Your friends? You mean the ones who always get themselves in troub-"

"No no! Hyung," Taehyung quickly interrupted the older, shaking his head innocently at his brother, "These ones are different i swear-"

"Is Orry going to be there too?" Jin questioned pensively and Taehyung had to shut his mouth at that one, not finding it in himself to lie.

His silence only confirmed the elder's suspicion, which made Seokjin sigh in return.

"Taehyung..."

"Hyung, i swear we'll not get into any trouble this time. I'm not even planning to drink that much and--"

"You know what happened last time right? And how it became the reason you had to be sent to New York to study? Dad was not happy about what happened, Taehyung." Jin reminded the boy who suddenly looked very guilty and sad.

"I do..." Taehyung whispered, biting his lip.

Seokjin sighed again, not wanting to spoil the mood for his young brother who just returned to the country.

"Fine, you can go but promise me you'll be careful. Stay away from that boy. Promise me Taehyung, alright? I can't let you fall in trouble because of someone else again, you get me?" Seokjin warned his brother who looked up hopefully before nodding his head in positive.

"I'll be careful, hyung."

Seokjin moved out of the way and Taehyung smiled at him before bouncing down the remaining stairs and was out of the door within seconds. He looked on long after his brother had left the house, feeling a slight pit of worry make home in his stomach as he thought about his brother.

The thing was that, he couldn't forget what had happened in his brother's life just a few years back, that had led to Taehyung being sent to another country. They were told it was for Taehyung's further studies from a prestigious college but he knew better than that.

It was all because of that false drug incident Taehyung got caught in just because of his good for nothing friend Orry. Taehyung wasn't a brat, actually far from it, he was too naive, sometimes for his own good. Sometimes he couldn't tell the difference between good and bad, but he was young and it wasn't really his fault for making wrong judgements.

Kim Tae ho had been livid about Taehyung getting involved in something so serious that although he pulled his strings and saved his son and the family name, he had resorted to send the youngest away from people's scrutinizing gaze, to another country for 2 whole years.

Seokjin didn't want a repeat of that, but something told him that that's exactly what was going to happen. Maybe something worse.

______

The club: Blue roe was pumping with a loud base and electronic music, which set the bustling crowd on the dance floor swaying on their own beats.

Taehyung was in the middle of it, dancing his heart out alongside with a couple of his friends, everyone vibing with the music although no one really understood the robotic lyrics belting out from the speakers.

This was why he liked clubs. He liked to dance and let loose, shrugging off his worries for a moment as his body became one with the rhythm of the beats. He wasn't much of a drinker so he had only had a couple of sojus before making his way for the dance floor.

"Hey Taehyung! Want to do some shots?" A voice, that belonged to none other than his friend Orry, called out for him from their table in the VIP section.

"Uh, I'll pass man, you know i can't handle my liquor that well," A sweaty Taehyung huffed back, making his way over to the round couch where his other friends were seated.

"That's boring, anyway at least buy us some?" Orry smirked at his friends when Taehyung easily accepted, calling for a waiter to take their orders. As the waiter walked out of the aisle with a list full of orders on Taehyung's tab, Orry turned to the latter and assessed him for a moment.

"You haven't really changed since the last time I saw you Taehyung," Orry commented snidely, making his other friends snicker but Taehyung couldn't understand the implication and nodded in confusion.

"Should I have?" His friends snickered some more, clearly enjoying making fun of Taehyung. They always did that but the younger boy was too innocent to comprehend the meaning behind their words.

"No no, it's best you didn't darling," His friend laughed patting Taehyung on the shoulder,"I kind of like this holy vibe you have."

"Right," Taehyung laughed too, forced actually, because he really didn't understand where the conversation was going at this point. He's rather just go back to the dance floor.

"Oh Taehyung, please tell us about your life in the states dude!" One of his other friends chirped from his side making him sigh internally.

"It was... Alright, I guess." The brunet said, disinterested about the topic as usual but his friends weren't going to let it slide without scraping for more information. The drinks arrived and everyone took the shots except Taehyung.

"Did you finally get someone to date you?" A girl named Jeena asked him, unable to hide the taunt in her tone and this time Taehyung picked on it.

Taehyung contemplated on whether to give her a proper answer or just let that topic slide as well, but then decided not to lie.

"I was in a relationship once but it ended a few months back." He told them briefly, raising a few pairs of eyes around the table.

"You were?" Jeena asked again, sounding like she didn't believe him. After all 2 years back Taehyung wasn't one who dated or even slept around with people. He was too shy for things like that.

"Mhm," Taehyung pressed his lips and raised his shoulders,"can we please go back to dancing-"

"Oh come on! You can't just drop a bomb like that and not give us any details!" Orry interrupted him and waved his hands in exaggeration."Tell us more! What's his name?"

"Uh... Bogum." Taehyung exhaled, heart sinking at the memory of that boy. The boy he once loved.

"And? How was he like? Why did you guys break up? Did he cheat on you or something-"

"Hey Tae?"

Orry's array of nosy questions was brought to a stop when one of Taehyung's other friends, Lisa butted in with her phone pressed to her ear. Lisa was also Yugyeom's current girlfriend and he was sure that was his brother on the other side.

"Yugy said your mom wants you to head back home?" Lisa flicked her head towards the phone in her hand and Taehyung couldn't help but sigh in relief. He also kind of wanted to go back home now since his friends weren't being fun anymore.

"Alright Liz, tell him I'll be back in twenty." The brunet said before placing his card on the table and getting up from his seat," I'll see you guys later then?"

"Oh no wait, I'm coming with you actually," Orry stood up too, walking alongside Taehyung towards the exit of the club while the rest of their friends continued to drink.

"You don't want to stay?" Taehyung asked him, trying to be as polite as possible as he shrugged the guy's hand from around his shoulder.

"No, I don't have a ride tonight. My car's broken man, you're gonna let me ride with you, right?"

Before the brunet could even answer Orry snatched his car keys from the valet and headed for the driver's seat.

"I think you shouldn't drive, you have alcohol in your system." Taehyung protested, trying to get back his keys from the other boy but the latter just held it up and whined to let him drive and that he was okay and absolutely sober.

After a few minutes of struggle Taehyung had to give in to his annoying friend's demand just because it was getting too late to go home. They settled inside his Benz 300 SLR while Orry let out a whistle at its inner design.

They hit the road and Taehyung instantly regretted letting his friend take the wheel because he was clearly inebriated and wasn't driving straight.

"Hey! Hey stop, oh my god that was a red signal! Orry what are you doing!?"

Taehyung was yelling at him to stop driving like a nuisance but the other was clearly enjoying himself, being reckless with someone else's property.

"Oh come on Taehyung! What kind of a rich brat are you huh? We don't follow the rules because they can't do shit to us Tae! Remember the last time they caught us with molly? What happened? Nothing at all!"

"They caught you with it, not me. But I had to pay the price for it and leave the country for two years. I had to pay for your fault Orry! Can you please go slower?" Taehyung screamed again, getting more and more anxious as they neared an empty cross road near his house. He just wished he had listened to Jin hyung and hadn't gone out with this guy again.

Why did he always make the wrong decisions? Why!?

"Really Tae? You need to learn to live a little--"

Taehyung suddenly saw a boy with a cycle, emerging from one corner of the road and crossing the junction where the traffic lights were flashing red for vehicles and green for pedestrians. He saw Orry speeding up instead of slowing and quickly pulled the steering to the left yelling a "Hey WATCH OUT!"

The boy flinched and dropped the cycle, jumping back and falling on his ass as the car missed him narrowly but ran over his poor bike, breaking it into a crumpled mess.

The car stuttered and stopped a few feet away from the crossing, tires sizzling with friction from the road. A few moments passed before the door of the car opened and Taehyung got out, quickly running back towards the boy they had almost hit.

The boy was still lying on the road, chest heaving as little pants left his mouth. He looked pretty shaken up from the whole thing.

"Hey dude are you okay? Hey!" The brunet crouched in front of the other boy and held out a hand for him to take but the boy seemed to have forgotten where or who he was, his wide eyes now staring at Taehyung in wonder.

"Uhm, Mr..?" I asked if you're alright?" Taehyung repeated himself, going to touch the other's shoulder when the boy backed away and quickly stood up. The brunet blinked in confusion before slowly standing up as well.

"I-i am alright, t-thank you," the boy replied hastily wiping his forehead as he looked anywhere but at the brunet in front of him.

Was he blushing?

Taehyung was even more confused now.

"Uh... Your bike-"

"It's -its okay, i-uh I'll get that fixed, don't worry about it-" the boy picked up his broken bike from the floor and gave it a once over.

"No, it's my fault. I broke it so let me--"

"Oi, who's car is that?" Suddenly the sound of a siren was heard and the two boys widened their eyes realising it was the traffic police heading towards them from the previous crossing.

"Y-you need to leave, Mister , Get your car and get out of here! Fast!" The bike boy suddenly quipped, looking behind them at the police car.

"Wait- you mean, you're not going to complain--"

Taehyung was interrupted when the guy gave him a subtle push, urging him to hurry and escape before the police arrived.

"Just go- I'll handle them alright? Don't worry about it." The bike boy said now facing the police car and covering Taehyung's body behind his buff form," Run!"

"Alright! Alright thank you, thank you so much!" Taehyung turned around and ran for his life. He quickly reached his car and cursed aloud when he saw that Orry had fallen asleep on the driver's seat.

He had to act fast so he did the first thing that came to his mind and kicked the other boy out of his car, dragging him to a bench nearby before going back and taking the wheel and quickly rushing out of the scene, all of it under mere minutes. He would call Lisa and ask her to get Orry home later but now he had to run.

From his rearview mirror he saw the boy still standing at the crossing with his broken bike, but this time he was looking in the direction Taehyung was headed to, and it made the brunet blush for an unknown reason.
