"To resume everything up to now, let's first take a step back. It all staretd with Ryuuga's dream of traveling the world but then it expanded into something greater. Ryuuga, Hikaru, Fujiko and Emon formed team Spiral Terra and despite their efforts on the regional tournament, lost to team Royalty, composed of Akira, Ichigo and Aijou, the King, Jack and Joker of the Royalty of Heiwa. With Fujiko and Emon departing from Royalty, and Emon ending his friendship Akira, Akira was left at a weakened state, just as if he was a candle surrounded by hurricanes. As for the other two members of Royalty, Aijou and Fujiko started slowly rebuilding their past friendship and Ichigo finally confronted his nemesis, Hikaru, and left him at a bad state aswell. Almost two weeks after this fight, Hikaru returned to Heiwa with a goal forged in his mind and that is when Act II starts..."

"Thank god our teacher missed or else I would have gotten late to class!" Ryuuga ranted, making his way to Heiwa Academy by foot. "Why did the damn alarm clock stop working today?! This must have been sabotage! At least now I won't get a bad grade for being late..." And then, his thoughts and rants were interrupted by the buzzing sound of his phone. Grabbing it from his pocket, he looked at the screen to see who was calling and answered the call. "Hey Fujiko, what's up?"

"It's Hikaru! He returned to Heiwa this morning and has been acting way weirder than usual! But that isn't all of it, he has also challenged Akira for the title of King! You need to get here quickly, they just started!"

"Wait, he did what? I- huh, I'll get there as soon as possible!"

(Opening)

Walking past the school gate's in a rush, Ryuuga made his way to the rooftop of the school. In his way there, he was able to hear the many voices of students talking about the match, cheering on for Akira, but above that, dreading the possibility of him losing. Climbing up the stairs that lead to the doors to the rooftop, he was able to see the light the open doors let into the school building. He ran past the doors, facing himself with a large crowd of students, teachers and even school workers. "Excuse me, excuse me, excuse me..." He muttered, trying his best to make his way through the crowd.

"BEAT THAT PUNK UP AKIRA!"

"DON'T LET THAT PERVERT WIN!"

"What will happen if that first year guy wins?"

"I don't know by I'm sure he will be away different that Akira."

Those were the main things Ryuuga could hear from the crowd of students surrounding him. However, he was able to listen to some parts of the fight, which was about to reach it's finale.

"Attack." Hikaru simply said, looking away from the pitiful state Akira was in ever since the end of the regional tournament.

"Damage check..." Akira slowly turned the top card of his deck face up, revealing yet another Soul Saver Dragon and placing it in his damage zone face up. In his damage zone, he had two face down cards and a total of four face up Soul Saver Dragons. "Yay, knock yourself out." He mumbled, throwing the King pin into the air just like a coin and letting it fall perfectly on Hikaru's open palm. Then, he just threw his cards into his school bad and left the area. 'I don't need to be a King anymore...'

Hikaru raised the pin to the skies, staring at it with a simplistic smile. "We did it, Renji. But I will keep winning as much as I can for you."

'He... He won...' Ryuuga thought after hearing the end of the fight. As he tried to turn around to leave in the middle of the crowd, he ended being spitted by it onto the zone it first surrounded. He was now face to face with Hikaru, just as he had been planning after Fujiko called.

Hikaru looked at Ryuuga, placing the King pin on the table face up and packing all of his cards together. "Sup?"

"Sup? Don't hit me with a simple 'sup', we need to talk! I thought you had no interest in ever being in the Royalty and now out of nowhere, after days of making us worried, you show up and snatch away Akira's title just like that?"

"Hm..." Hikaru rubbed his chin, looking up to the sky before looking back at Ryuuga and nodding. "Basically putting it, yes."

"And you didn't told us? We are friends! We are teammates! What about Spiral Terra? Just because we lost one regional tournament it doesn't means that we are done yet!"

"Yeah, about that, nah. I'm done with you three. I'm leaving Spiral Terra and already asked the school to change me into a different class. Whatever you three do from here on out is your issue and not mine. Not anymore."

Ryuuga froze for a second at the reply. "Done... with us? We accepted you, despite all the weird things you said and your weird way of acting! We we friends, you have no right to take that away!"

"Yeah well screw having or not having rights! That was all fake crap! Oh, 'spread 'em cheeks', 'drill that booty' and all other shit that I said was basically all bullcrap for the mind games! I can't let go of that side of me, no matter how much I try, but that isn't my real side. Listen, Ryuuga, it was good while it lasted, but you three have been nothing more than a distraction."

"A distraction...? A distraction?!"

"Yes, a distraction! Remember when we first fought and I told you about bad stuff from the past and whatnot? Well too bad, it came back to haunt me but on the good side, it showed me what I was doing wrong and what I should do to make things right! And I did it! I made things right! It was my destiny, my fate, my goal to become the King of a Royalty and that still isn't enough! I promised him I would keep winning and winning and winning for him! And I'm doing it now, starting by winning against the King!"

"Him?"

"The greatest person I ever met. The only friend I needed. His name was Renji and I promised him that if we ever lost him, I would win for him no matter what. That retarded side you met all those months ago was nothing more than a try at getting away from the past but I'm done with that crap. I'm embracing as much of this past as I can and I'm fine with it. It's my own choice. But hey, unless you have something else to bitch about, get out of my sight."

Ryuuga took a deep breath, walking up to the opposite side of the fighting table. "The winner can ask anything from the loser, right?"

"Hm? What's this?" Hikaru asked, looking at Ryuuga.

"It's me getting my best friend back in the worst way possible." He replied, taking his deckbox out of his school bag and placing it on the table. "I didn't wanted to do this but... Hikaru Hata, I challenge you for the title of King of Heiwa's Royalty!"

'Best friend...? Shut up Ryuuga, you don't know what you're talking about! You're no Renji!' Hikaru thought, taking a deep and calm breath to relieve himself from the anger. "Fine. But let's throw something extra in. If I win, which I will, I want you, Fujiko and Emon to just forget about me and move on since I will do the same."

Ryuuga nodded. "But if I win, you will forget about this ludicrous quest and return to us. Your goal is noble, that's a thing everyone can only agree with, but you're doing it in the wrong way."

"Only this fight will tell then." Hikaru looked through his deck, grabbing a a card and placing it face down on the table. After shuffling his deck, he drew five cards that he kept. "As per rules of the Royalty, in a battle for the title, the challenger must go first at all times."

"That'll work with me. Stand up, the vanguard! I ride Mecha Trainer! (Grade 0|6000)" Ryuuga's circle expanded grey.

"Good to know. Stand up, max vanguard! I ride Dimensional Robo, Goyusha! (Grade 0|6000)" Hikaru's vanguard circle expanded light blue as usual. "After you."

"Dimension Police? What about Nova Grappler?"

"I told you before that the craps of the past included me and this deck. The answer is right in front of you."

"I guess. Stand and draw. I ride Wonder Boy! (Grade 1|8000) Mecha Trainer let's me draw a card and I end my turn at that."

"Black Panther is moved into the soul and I move Garry to the soul to draw two cards and then, I place a hand card on the bottom of the deck. I end my turn."

Emon made his way through the crowd, joining Fujiko on the place from where she watched the fight. She was close to the two fighters, but was far enough to not be noticed by them. "I heard about some first year student fighting the new King, but I never expected it to be Sawada fighting Hikaru as a King. Just what the hell is going on?"

"Hikaru just showed up at school today out of nowhere and challenged Akira for his title. And then... We gained King Hikaru. But when Ryuuga came into the scene, Hikaru started rambling about his idiotic side being just an act but still being a part of him and about a promise he made to a friend. He left Spiral Terra and wants us to leave his life, so now Ryuuga is fighting for that not to happen and for the title of King aswell." Fujiko explained, crossing her arms.

"What about Akira? Where did he got after losing?"

"He just left. Walked through the crowd and that was that. He still looked pretty down. Guess he hasn't recovered yet."

"it's not my problem that he had to pull hat move and act like if he owned everything."

"Stand and draw. Yeah, I'm calling final turn. I'm also calling Daidragon (Grade 2|10000) and Daimariner (Grade 1|8000) Mariner's soulblast, when my vanguard attacks, you need to guard with two or more if you wanna guard at all. And then, Daidragon's soulblast, add 5000 to my vanguard. (23000>>28000) But also, Daiyusha's ability, rest both Daimariner and Daitiger to add 20000, and with it's other skill, a critical. He just needs to not get a critical and I will have another turn.' "I won't let those simple words scare me! You know I'm better than that! No guard!"

"But for not very long. After my vanguard attacked, since it had at least 45000 power, and wasn't ridden this turn, I can activate this ability from hand! I pay one counterblast to superior ride!"

"Superior ride at this point in time?!"

"Hell yeah! Extend the power of the stars and make the hamemrs of jsutice rain down upon all darkness! NOVA PERSONA RIDE! ULTIMATE DIMENSIONAL ROBO, GREAT DAIYUSHA! (Grade 3|13000>>23000) But that's not all! Since ridden by his skill, Great Daiyusha gains 10000! (23000>>33000) And then, when he is placed, my front row gets 10000 power for the whole turn! "Two, huh? Okay. (Justice Cobalt - Critical)" 'Not one these moments... Ah screw it, I'll do what my instinct says.' "I give the critical to Daidragon, but the power stays with my vanguard. (30000>>30000/2) (43000>>53000) Second and final check. (Miracle Cutie) Exactl why I hate these isntants. Daidragon swings in for game! (30000/2)"

"Not yet... Not yet! Tiara! (33000)"

For a moment there, Hikaru grit his teeth for a short time. "Miracle Cutie! End this! (30000)"

"I don't guard... (Spike Bouncer)" Ryuuga slowly placed his hands on the table. "Huh, I guess now we forget that you exist. Isn't that what you wanted?"

Hikaru packed his cards and placed his King pin on his pocket. "Hm? Yeah, go ahead anf foegt about my existence, you'll be doing a favour for both me and yourselves. And by the way, before you forget me, I have one last thing to say, courtesy of the last King himself Akira."

"What is it? Just make it quick and leave us..." Ryuuga kept staring down at the tbale, not being able to bring himself to look at Hikaru.

"The regional tournament will be remade. Since Team Royalty decided to quit, the association decided to hold the tournament again. However, the only teams that can enter are teams of exactly four people. You can do whatever you want with this info really. Goodbye forever, Ryuuga." Hikaru said, making his way into the crowd and disappearing. The crowd soon dispersed and all students, teachers and workers returned to the palce they should be in.

Emon and Fujiko approached Ryuuga, Emon placed his hand on Ryuuga's shoulder while Fujiko kindly wrapped her arms around Ryuuga's body. "It's not your fault, Sawada. If you're going to bring yourself down because of what Hikaru did, you'll only be wasting your time. You shouldn't feel guilty about other people's mistakes. That isn't living."

"Yeah... But I just can't stop this feeling of failing... We went through so much, all of us. We did so much together and with a snap, it's like if we stopped existing."

"If you're going to blame yourself for that, then Hikaru's remainign slaps will move to you, you got that?" Fujiko warned, trying to lighten the mood. "You can't go down that easily. Yeah you lost, but look at the positive side. Our dream of going to nationals is not over yet. The regional tournament is going to me remade and we will have a second chance. This is a thing that only happens once a lifetime."

"Yeah but... It won't be the same without Hikaru, and we don't have a fourth member. But I honestly... I can't think about that now." Ryuuga slowly freed himself from Fujiko's arms and placed his hands on his pockets. "I need to think. See you class, Fujiko, and in lunch time, Emon." Then, he just started walking away from his friends. 'I only want for this day to end so that I can go to the hospital and visit mom... I have alot to say...'

Ryuuga's school day went by normally, same monday classes, same monday teachers, same classmates, Hikaru being the only one missing. At lunch time, he had been with Emon and Fujiko, but didn't talked much or even paid attention to them at all. When classes ended and the sun start setting, he took his usual path towards the local hospital, where his mother was staying, while Emon and Fujiko went both to Hage.

Once on the hallways of where his mother's room was, Ryuuga still didn't paid much attention to his surroundings, he just knew he was there. He had been looking down the whole day. In class, in lunch, even on the elevator of the hospital. Once he arrived at the door of the room, he looked up, being face to face with Fujiko's sister, Fumiko. Behind her, some nurses carried blankets out of the room and talked to each other, both smiling. Fumiko simply smiled at Ryuuga and nodded, to which he replied by taking a step back and dashing back into the elevator. He already knew what it meant, but he still couldn't believe it was happening in that same day.

Running through the streets leading to his house, Ryuuga tried to reach for his keys, which he aways kept on his schoolbag, but having no luck on his search, he just ignore it and kept running. Once he was able to see his house, he noticed that the window was open and nodded to himself. He ran past the gate, and using the speed he had been building up so far, was able to jump through the window and land on his living room. He got up as he had landed in one knee, and looked at the current scene. His father, Shouto, his younger brother, Izuru and his step uncle and mentor, Yuichiro, were both there. In one of the walls was a large banner saying 'Surprise'. But there was someone else in the living room too. And that was...

"Mom... You're back..." Ryuuga muttered in disbelief, letting go of his schoolbag and hugging his mother.

"Sorry if I took too long in doing so." Yu, his mother, replied, hugging her son back.

"The Sawadas are back!" Shouto exclaimed. "Yuichiro, until you do like Saturn and put a rong on a woman, you will be a Sawada so join in the family hug!"

"Wait, but I-" Before Yuichiro finished his sentence, Shout d«grabbed hims by his collar and dragged him into the large family hug.

"At the count of 3! 1! 2! 3!" Shout ordered.

"THE SAWADAS ARE BACK!" The five of them shouted, all of them looking up.

Ichigo slid the door of the Royalty room open, walking through it. "I've been sick for the past few days, I hope you haven't lead this school to shit, you depressing scru-" Before finishing the insult direct at Akira, he noticed who was really sitting in the couch.

Hikaru smiled at Ichigo, revealing to him the King pin and leaning back against the couch. "I win."
