(Instrumental)

With the first high beat of the instrumental, Gin appears, aiming at the viewer with his left index and middle fingers.

After the first high beat, the opening shows something progressing forward within a hallway, towards a door.

With the second high beat, Masato appears instead of Gin. Masato is hanging his arms low with a bored face.

After the second high beat, the door gets closer.

With the third high beat, Kaido appears instead of Masato. Kaido has his hands on the collar of his shirt, fixing it as if it was a tie.

After the third high beat, the door opens to reveal an office. To the right of the door is a large black couch, a TV screen large enough to take almost all of the wall, under it is a counter filled with different types of consoles and video games, and near the couch is a  mini fridge. To the left of the door is an old desk, with Ryuuga sitted behind it, and on the wall behind him, a quest board with four FiCa entry spaces. As the instrumental begins to speed up, Ryuuga turns around to look at the quest board, where the word "Quest" appears in platinum and green. In a fast passed shot, the opening shows Ryuuga, Gin, Masato and Kaido looking at it, then the four dashing through the door and then the four running through the hallway, with Masato and Ryuuga almost going down from being pushed by Gin, who has Kaido riding on his back and screaming like a commander.

As the guitar part begins playing, the four of them are now running across a parking lot, with Kaido in first place and swinging around the keys of a car, Ryuuga running after him, then Masato and then Gin. As the title "Cardfight!! Vanguard: Spiral Soul" begins appearing in the sky, Ryuuga tackles Kaido down and steals the keys, followed by Masato not stopping in time and tripping on the two just to fall on top of them, and then Gin, who manages to stop, but in doing so, trips on his own feet and his sent flying forward, landing on top of the other three. As each person falls on top of Kaido, his reaction grows, with a simple wide mouth scream when it was just Ryuuga, a wider mouth scream and wide eyes when Masato lands and then, when Gin falls over the three, Kaido's eyes nearly pop out of his head in a comedical way.

The opening shows a 1966 Ford Mustang convertible, coloured white, driving across the road. As the opening zooms in on the front glass of the car, it shows that Ryuuga is the one driving, with Gin on the co-pilot seat, Kaido sitted behind Gin anad Masato sitted behind Ryuuga. Masato says something as a speaking bubble appears next to him, showing an arrow going down with a red X over it and an arrow going up with a green check mark on top of it. Ryuuga nods and suddenly turns the car around, making Masato grab onto the belt and start yelling for dear life, Gin yelling at other cars and giving other drivers a censored middle finger and Kaido calmly picking up his phone and a piece of paper, with a list of names and phone numbers.

Like during the previous instrumental part, a quick slideshow of images appear. The first is the car stopping near a park, with a trash can nearby. The second one shows the four of them outside the car, with Gin falling towards the trash can, Masato's eyes being fully white, Ryuuga smirking victoriously and Kaido glaring at him. The next and final image shows Gin hugging the trash can while keeping his head inside it, clearly indicating he's throwing up, Masato on the floor with his ghost leaving through his mouth and Kaido and Ryuuga fighting for the key of the car, with both of them pulling it like children.

During this part of the opening, instead of focusing on the previous four idiots, it instead shows different parts of the city. 

The first is Card Shop Hage, with Fujiko standing behind the counter, Renji and Kanao talking on a table, Kaminari, Hisano, Taira and Hinata sitted on another table, with Taira yelling something that can only be assumed to the sound he makes, and Kamishiro walking out of the storage room, with Fumiko waiting for him on the outside.

The next one shows a maid cafe, where Emma is sitting with Strelzia and Hikaru. Nearby is a girl with blue eyes and blonde hair tied into a pony on the left side of her head, standing near the door and watching the three with a smile. The one who appears to serve the three is Homura, dressed as a maid, who after putting down their dishes has an eyebrow twitch over something Hikaru says, and as she is about to slap him with an empty circular silver tray, the blonde maid starts dashing towards the table, yelling like a mad person as she reaches out for Homura. The scenary changes right before the silver tray lands it's hit.

The next one shows Emon walking through the streets with a guitar on his back and Akira, Bruno, Joshu and Joshu's little brother Mikitaka walking by his side. Emon says something that leads Joshu to dive down and hug his leg, with a speaking bubble appearing with his iconic line of "EMON-SAN TEACH ME YOUR WAYS!". As Emon tries to shake Joshu off, Mikitaka repeatedly bows to apologize for his brother.

Again with a quick slideshow of images, the first one shows Ichigo and Aijou sitting outside a cafe. On the table behind Aijou are Yuri and Joe, with Yuri and Aijou being back to back. As Ichigo and Joe both guide a spoon of ice cream towards their respective girlfriends' mouths, Aijou and Yuri fist bump without the two boys noticing. On a table nearby them are Mayuri and Rose, arguing with each other, and Iris and Alan. Alan is looking over at the table with Joe, carrying a face that shows how he's disapproving his brother's flirting methods. On a table between Alan's and Joe's are Abbacchio and Mina, both drinking coffee. Abbacchio is looking at Joe with a smug, but a proud look in his eyes.

The next image shows the Vanguardine restaurant (from Thunderous Rebellion). On a table are Karim alongside his old friends, those being Yukino, Lia and Taishiro (from #23: The Incomplete Arcana), aswell as Dallas and Arcand. On another table is Yuichiro, looking up with a sly smile that shows how he just thought of something R Rated. Sitted across him is a red haired woman, glaring at him, and standing on the table yelling is a muscular brown haired man. On another table are Raijin and Fubuki, aswell as Ira, Chouji, Akiko, Kira and Raika, and in a table near them, are Madara and Sakura, Raijin and Akiko's parents, having a romantic dinner. Another table has Shouto and Yu, Ryuuga's parents, and in a table near them, is Izuru with a pair of headphones around his neck and a boy with light brown hair of his age. Finally, on another table and sitting by himself is a tanned boy around Kaido's age, with a long and tied silver hair. He's looking directly at the viewer, holding up a thumbs up with a smirk.

The final image shows Ryuzaki's office. While Ryuzaki isn't there, the ones who are are Maverick and Inu, both watching TV, Payic, organizing Ryuzaki's papers, and Riku, who's trying to open Ryuzaki's safe.

Back on the park, a kid points up at a bird's nest on the top of a nearby building. Ryuuga, Gin, Masato and Kaido are all looking at it, jaws dropped. Soon, Tenma appears followed by a large group of fighters, all wearing white jackets with the Star Gate emblem on their right and left arms. In that group and standing next to Tenma is Tomoko. While the Star Gate groups appears to the their left, another group appears by their right, lead by Sakate. All the members in this group wear red jackets with the Dragon Empire emblem on their right and left arms. As the two groups begin yelling at each other, the four idiots that arrived before them begin muttering to each other and look back.

The opening then shows a bag of gunpowder and a shadow cast upon it growing. The camera turns around to reveal that the shadow comes from a large rock falling towards it, with Gin on top of it and Ryuuga, Masato and Kaido on top of Gin. Upon the rock landing on top of the bag, the gunpowder triggers a large explosion that sends the four of them flying up.

The opening then shows the four of them falling down from the sky towards a large forest. Gin takes charge and speeds ahead of the rest, turning into Aerial Divine Knight, Altmile. As he swings his blade forward, he becomes tied by chains. A shadow appears behind him, and through it, Gastille Daimonas looks down on him. Within that shadow is someone with it's back to Gin, slightly looking at him from over his shoulder.

The next one that speeds ahead is Kaido, who begins evading a large explosion of orange flames. Through the orange flames come out Darkpride Dragon, Morion Spear Dragon and Dragprinciple, Morfessa. Kaido, now has Cocytus, looks at the shadow of a human standing between the flames. The flames around the shadow move enough to show the man's body. He is dressed in a GEN A Class uniforn, with a white scar over his shoulders but not around his neck. He swings his hand, making the uniform turn into a simple dark green shirt with it's sleeves rolled up and white pants with a black belt around them as the flames return into attacking Kaido. Despite the sudden wardrobe change, the scarf remains with the man.

After that, Masato speeds up, becoming Blonde Ezel and swinging around his blades to slash through a flurry of lightning, chains and daggers coming up towards him.

Kagayai ta kimi no hitomi kanjita

Finally, Ryuuga also speeds up. He notices a card spinning near him and reaches out for it. As he grabs it, another hand grabs it and reveals the card to be Chronovisor Heritage. The other hand is revealed to belong to Ryuzaki, who after sharing a smirk with Ryuuga, pulls back his fist. The two shoot forward their fists forward, but instead of their fists colliding, it's the fists of Chronojet Dragon and Chronojet Dragon Z that collide. The two Chronojets begin fighting and Chronojet Z deals a blow to Chronojet, pushing him back. As Chronojet charges forward and launches his fist to strike Z, Cocytus, Ezel and Altmile appeard by his side, also shooting forward their fists. The four units become their users and as they strike Z, a bright light is emitted, turning the screen white.

Subarashii ashita ga mō bokura o matte iru kara

The final scene shows Ryuuga, Gin, Masato and Kaido, looking as if they had spent the whole day in the forest, arriving at Ryuuga and Joe's apartment. Waiting for them are all the other characters mentioned in the opening. The four of them then walk forward.

Masato falls flat on the floor, surrounded by Renji, Yuri and Bruno, who poke him to see if he's alive.

Gin begins to fall but his caught up by Karim and Arcand, who pull him up. He is surrounded by the old Arcana members, with the exception of Fujiko, who is just looking at them. Lia, Yukino and Taishiro are also there with them.

Kaido approaches Emma and falls to his knees in front of her, only to then hug her legs as she pats his head. Surrounding them are Sakate, Strelzia, Mikitaka and the grey haired guy from Vanguardine, who, alongside Sakate, is chuckling at Kaido.

Finally, Ryuuga comes face to face with Homura, both surrounded by Joe, Abbacchio, Aijou, Fujiko, Kanao, Emon, Akira, Hikaru, Ichigo, Taira, Kaminari and Hisano. Ryuuga and Homura look away from each other in a shy way, but after that, Fujiko, Kanao, Aijou and Hisano push Homura forward, and as for Ryuuga, he is pushed forward by the remaining guys surrounding them. Because of both being pushed, both fall into each other's arms. While both are still looking away shyly, both are smilling and enjoying the moment.

The opening ends with everyone inside the apartment raising their glasses over how the four idiots managed to end their quest.
