-Part 5
The train Izuru took left him in Shibuya after a trip of about fifteen minutes. After leaving the train, and making his way through the large crowd of people getting in and out of trains that filled the station, he reached the outside, where he stopped to catch his breath.
"I'm never going to get used to these dumb trains..." Izuru sighed.
Izuru began walking away from the station, down a street crowded with both working adults and students heading either to the trains tation or heading to their schools or workplaces on foot. In just ten minutes, because of a three minute break in a bakery that was on the way to get a bag of food, he found himself standing in front of a tall residential building, which he then entered.
"It's been a while, Sakamoto-san." Izuru said, waving at the elderly man that sat behind the front counter in the ground floor of the building.
"I see you're back to the usual schedule, Sawada-san." The man chuckled.
"No one's gonna wake up that lazy lump otherwise, right?" Izuru said as he entered one of the six three elevators on the floor. After pressing the button that lead to the tenth floor, the doors of the elevator closed and the machine began moving up.
Once the elevator stopped on the tenth floor, the doors began to open and Izuru left the machine. He walked down the hallway where the elevator had left him and stopped in front of a door next to a pot containing a tall plant. Izuru reached behind the branches of the plant and grabbed a golden key, which he then used to unlock the door ahead of him and enter the apartment.
The apartment behind the door was very large and considerably tall. Most of the bottom floor consisted of the living room alone. To the left of the front door was a small hallway that lead to the bathroom, the kitchen was to the living room's right and a large balcony rested behind the wall of windows across the entrance door. There was a large aquarium placed under a staircase that lead to five doors of five bedrooms, ironic considering only a mother and her daughter lived in this place.
Izuru left his shoes on the entrance hall and walked into the living room, where he placed his school bag, jacket and the bag he had gotten at the bakery on the couch. He walked into the kitchen whilst rolling up his sleeves and searched some cabinets for a pair of frying pans, which he then placed under his arm as he walked up the staircase. His eyes focused on the fifth bedroom, the one that was the furthest from him.
Carefully, Izuru opened the door, which lead to a pitch black room. He gracefully made his way through the clothes and objects on the floor, as if already knowing where they were located and reach the other side of the room, where the window was. In a swift move, he pulled the curtains apart, showering the room with sunlight, which revealed a cocoon of sheets over the bed whimpering. He smirked and began slamming the frying pans together.
"Wake the hell up you lazy lump, we're in for another year! Chop chop, get moving!" Izuru commanded ruthlessly, bringing the frying pans closer to the cocoon.
"I don't wanna, give me more five minutes!" The cocoon begged.
"Hell no, we'll lose the train if you sleep for more five minutes!" Izuru placed the frying pans down and grabbed onto the sheets, which he swiftly pulled away to revealed a girl with long, brownish-red hair and blue eyes in white pajammas.
"Just five more minutes, I wasted my sleeping time to finish my speech..." The girl yawned.
"Get moving!" Izuru roared. He grabbed some clothes off a drawer and began hurling them at the girl's face. "You got five minutes to get ready so chop chop!" With that, Izuru left the room and returned to the living room.
Five minutes later, like commanded, the girl left her room and presented herself in the living room. She wore the Heiwa uniform, with a slight difference. Instead of wearing a grey skirt like Yumi, her skirt was light green, and she also wore black leggings. Under her school jacket, she wore a shirt under a light blue sweater, and similar to Izuru himself, she kept a pair of wireless headphones around her neck, with hers begin dark blue.
"I'm here, I'm here..." The girl sighed.
"See? It wasn't so hard to get ready on schedule." Izuru walked over to the girl and gave her the bag from the bakery. "Breakfast."
"Thank you..." The girl yawned once again.
Moments later, Izuru and the girl walked through the streets near the building, heading for the train. The girl was called Hanagata Aimi, a student of Heiwa entering her second year of high school like Izuru, and who was in his class aswell. She started her high school life as someone viewed as a cold-hearted queen by others, but who over time became nicer to others during the time of her campaign to become the president of the student council.
As the two walked side by side, Aimi munched on the meatbun Izuru had brought for her to have for breakfast, which lead to her come out of her tired mode with a smile.
"Thank you fo the food." Aimi said as she clapped her hands together.
"Damn, you ate the whole thing already? Geez." Izuru sighed. "Did you finish your speech for the opening ceremony? We have about a hour to review it before the opening ceremony starts. Hopefully the tour of the school for the new students won't end sooner than planned."
"Yeah, I managed to cram it together last night. You?" Aimi asked.
"Tate peer pressured me into finishing it before playing video games. It wasn't the most enjoyable thing for sure." Izuru deadpanned.
"Then we can review our speeches together when we get to school. I haven't checked the grammar on mine since I waited so much to write."
"Crap, now that you mention that, I haven't done that either. The last few days have been too busy for my liking."
"Oh, that's right. Ryuuga-san got married two days ago, correct? I hope you enjoyed the celebration."
"It was just another marriage. Same as usual. He said yes, she said yes, they put on rings and kissed. Boom, done. I don't get what's so special about it." Izuru shrugged it off.
"It's too romantic for your small brain, Izuru. Someone like you wouldn't understand it." Aimi giggled.
"What was that? I think I heard someone say I was a dumb dumb. Classical cold-hearted ice queen." Izuru snickered.
"Idiot." Aimi deadpanned and began walking ahead.
"Hey hey, I was joking!" Izuru called out, running after her.
The train that would take them to the station closest to Heiwa Academy suffered a delay, so the student council member duo ended up reviewing each other's speeches while on the train, but also arrived later than expected at the other station.
