Sakura

I am a little bit worried. Lian has a lot of her mind lately. She looks completely worn out, but what could it be?

Syaoran looks at me, "You're thinking about Lian, aren't you? I'm sure this isn't going to be about the Sakura Clow Cards."

I turn to my husband, "Lee, you didn't sense any of the Sakura Clow Cards nearby don't you? Yue is quite suspious about this, since we closed the book and hid it away for years."

He hugs me, "I'm sure that everything would be fine, Sakura. You just have to believe that everything would be normal."

Being a former CardCaptor, nothing is normal, not to be least expected.

Then the doorbell rang, which cause both of us to be surprise.

"Who could that be?" Lee asks, as he opens up the door to see a boy who was looking at us with a nervous smile.

"Uh, hi, Mr. and Mrs. Avalon.  Is um, Lian home?" He asks as I blink in surprise of he was asking about our daughter. 

"Lian? You got a visitor." I called as Lian came down the stairs as she notices the boy with amazement. 

"Oh, hey there, Ki!" She greets him as he stammers, "Uh, hi, Lian. Can we go?"

She blinks, "Uh, sure." 

The children went out of the house, but something is up with this Ki and our daughter. What could it possibly be?

Ki

As we walked, I wanted to know how she was feeling. "Hey, are you feeling all right, Lian? I mean, you fainted after we captured the Time Card." 

She pulls out the Star necklace, as she looks at it, "I'm just fine, Ki. Being Night Captor did have a lot of power within me. 

Kiro said that I have to go through the Final Judgment to prove I am worthy of being the new Master of the Sakura Clow Cards, just like my mother did when she was a CardCaptor." 

I said, "Oh, I see. I guess it must've been scary, knowing that you have to face trial after we collect all 52 Sakura Clow Cards. "

Lian said, "I guess. But still , you really surprised me. I really didn't suspect you were-"

"A CardCaptor? I had to keep my identity a secret , an evil presence is here somewhere, and my mom, she's worried about it."  

Lian said, "I know. Kiro senses it as well, but he doesn't want me to know, but since I have inherited magic from both of my parents, things wouldn't be the same again."

As I was about to reply , a voice said, "Lian!"

We turned to see a man coming towards us as Lian said, surprised, "Wow, Julian! Long time no see."

Julian said, "It's nice to see you, Lian. I kind of almost mistaken you as your mother ."

He notices me, as Lian said, "Oh, let me introduce you. This is my friend, Ki. Ki, this is my mom's friend, Julian, who is also Johnny's father."

Julian asks, "Are you two out on a date?"

My face grew red,

as Lian said, "What! No, No! We're not on a date! We were just having a walk , that's all."  

"Get a grip, Ki! Lian is Sakura and Lee's child, the CardCaptor, Night Captor! There is no way I like her, right?"  I thought in my mind. 

"Julian, did you know we were here?" Lian asks. 

"Um, it was just a hunch. I'm on my way to your house. Your parents were waiting for me." 

"Oh, um, ok." Lian said, as he walks away. 

"Something is very mysterious about Julian, Lian. I feel like he was keeping an eye on us for something." I said in a serious tone. 

"I just hope Julian doesn't know I'm Night Captor. Only you, Kiro, and Amanda know the truth about me." Lian said, worriedly.

Tori

I knew that something is off, but I don't want Sakura and Lee to know that. 

As Lian and her friend left, I noticed the little Guardian Beast laying in the floor, pretending to be a stuffed animal, just like he used to do when Sakura was a CardCaptor and I pretend I don't know what is going on.

I sighed, "Kiro, you don't have to pretend around me. Sakura and Lee already left for work." 

The little Guardian groans, as he immediately transforms from his borrowed form to his true form, a lion winged Guardian. 

"It has been a while, hasn't Tori Avalon?" He said, nervously. 

I crossed my arms, "Indeed it has, Kiro Burrows. But I really don't understand something. You were in hibernation, guarding the Sakura Clow Book and the Clow Cards.

Why you show up now?"

The Guardian Beast sighs as we hear Lian come inside as she was stunned to see me in her room with Kiro's true form.

"Ahh!" She startles with a surprise tone.

She pours tea as she said, "Kiro, you have to warn me that you would transform from your borrowed form like that!

It really scared me."

The Guardian said, apologizing to the young girl, "I'm sorry that I've startled you like that, Lian. I'll try to warn you about it next time."  

I said, "Lian, what's going on? You know I can keep a secret. " 

Lian is nervous about it , but then Kiro returned to his borrowed form. 

"Lian, you have to tell him the truth. You need his help and besides Tori used to have magical abilities as Sakura did." 

Lian looks at me in confusion, but he nods, "It's true, Lian. I used to, but I don't have them anymore. It's a story that I can tell you later. 

For now, please tell me what is going on." 

Lian took out an familiar necklace. It was the same Star Necklace that Sakura always worn until she decides to stop being a CardCaptor.

"With Key with the Star Bright,

Release the Staff, and Release your light!" 

I back up as she transforms into a CardCaptor as she said, "I know it's a shock, Uncle Tori." 

Lian

I have to admit, revealing my identity as Night Captor to Tori, was something I never thought was possible, but if Kiro trusts Tori, then maybe he can help me and Ki out from my parents learning the truth.

I look at my uncle , "Uncle Tori? Are you ok?"

He said, I can't believe you're a CardCaptor, just like Sakura and Lee! Man, this is such a big suprise, squirt." 

I rubbed my head, "Are you mad?" 

He sees how I reacted as he said, "Oh, no, I'm not mad, Lian, just overwhelmed. So, you found the Sakura Clow Cards in the basement, didn't you?"

I nod, "Yeah, I did, but the Sakura Clow Cards summoned me for a reason, Tori. I just don't know how my parents do all of this stuff. 

Maybe I'm not a good CardCaptor." 

He bent down, "How can you say that, Lian? You being Night Captor is one thing you have to deal with. 

Believe me, I pretended to not know that Sakura was a CardCaptor until I willingly given up my powers. You have the strength of both of your parents more that you realize, Lian."

I ask, "You really think so, Tori? " 

"You're a CardCaptor, it's in your blood." Tori said, laughing. 

I smiled, but something tells me there is more than meets the eye.
