Lian

Ever since I discovered my family's history, I began to be nervous. It is not entirely easy for being Night Captor behind my parent's backs. 

I got my school uniform, getting ready for school. 

Mom said, "Lian, where you going off in such of hurry?"

I said, "I have to go to school early, Amanda and Johnny are waiting for me at the Cherry Tree blossoms." 

Dad said, "Don't stay up too late for practice, ok, sweetie?" 

I replied, "I won't!" 

Kiro said that he would stay behind in my room, which is totally bizarre to me, but he said , "Lian, it's the only solution I can think of, besides, if there is a Sakura Clow Card, I would sense it right away and help Night Captor on the go." 

I said, "It's just too bad that Kiro isn't with me, though. Night Captor might need his help with finding all 52 Sakura Clow Cards on the loose. " 

"Lian!" Amanda waves with Johnny smiling at me. 

"Hey, you guys!" I said, greeting them. 

Amanda whispers, "Do you sense any Clow Cards yet?"

I replied back, "Nothing yet. I'm still new of being a CardCaptor, Amanda. Night Captor is a tough secret though. I just hope I can pull it off." 

We enter the classroom, to see a new desk was sitting next to mine. 

"It's for a new Student we are going to have today. " My teacher replied, "He's from Hong Kong and you have to be the one to show him around, Lian."  

Amanda said, "Wow, how lucky you are, Lian. Showing a new classmate around, making him your friend right off the bat, I'm jelly." 

I sweat as I saw the new kid. His eyes are light blue and wearing our school uniform.

"Hi, I'm Lian Avalon. Welcome to our class. "  I said, introducing myself.

"I'm Ki. It's really nice to meet you, Lian ."

Suddenly, everything froze.

"What's going on?" I thought, "It must be a Sakura Clow Card. But I can't let Ki know that I'm Night Captor."

I rushed towards outside as I took out my Star necklace to transform into Night Captor.

"With Key with the Star bright, Release the Staff and release your light!

Release!"  

I transformed into Night Captor as I run to find the Sakura Clow Card. 

I saw the magical fairy giggle as I said, "Come back here!" 

"Elemental Card, Lighting!" I hear someone say as I turn in surprise to see Ki! 

Ki is a CardCaptor too?

I sensed the Clow Card right away the minute it flew in. It is a Time Card, that freezes time. 

I noticed Night Captor, who was amazed that I was a CardCaptor. 

"Is something the matter?" I ask. 

Night Captor shook her head, "No, it's just a surprise that you were a CardCaptor, Ki. I never would've guessed. 

So, what is the Sakura Clow Card is this?"

"It has to be the Time Card." A yellow stuffed animal appears as Night Captor exclaimed, "Kiro!" 

Kiro said, "The Time Card freezes all time. This is one of Sakura's hardest Captures ever ." 

Night Captor blinks with surprise as if this was the first time she heard of it. "Really? I never thought of it that way." 

I said, "Focus on the task in hand, Night Captor.  We have to find it and return time back to normal." 

She said, "Ki, I think it's best we find it together. I trust you." 

I nod , as we went through the school, as Night Captor spots something unusual.

"What is it?" I ask the Captor with a curious, yet , serious tone. 

She points up to the School Bell tower. 

"I don't know why, but I get the strangest feeling that the card went up there." She said. 

I ask, "How we going to get up there? It's so high up unless-" 

Night Captor pulls out the Windy Card. "I thought that would be the case. I just caught this yesterday. 

Windy, come on out and help us fly!" 

The Staff had wings as Night Captor rides on like a broom. "Climb on, Ki." 

I nod as we flew towards the bell tower. 

"Night Captor, you have to seal the card, now!" 

"Time Card, return once you came!" She touches the staff, but the power was too much for her as she deforms into... Lian!

I caught her instantly as she collapses into my arms. 

"Lian's the Night Captor?" I thought.

"Lian? Lian!" I said, worried. 

She opens her eyes as I said, "What a relief. " 

Lian

Ki said, "What a relief. Lian, you all right?" 

I groan, "I think so. Wait, where's the Time Card?"

He pulls it out, "You managed to seal it, Lian. I can't believe you're Night Captor that I've been hearing about lately. You must been a Cardholder before." 

I blink, "That's the thing, Ki. I'm not a full-fledged CardCaptor yet. I just accidentally opened the Sakura Clow Cards by mistake."

I told him about my parents were CardCaptors and how I found the Fly Card .

"Wow, it's incredible that your parents were CardCaptors, Lian. You should be proud of your heritage. "  He said as we walked home together. 

"I didn't exactly told them that I became Night Captor. I'm just glad knowing there is a CardCaptor helping me out somewhere." 

Ki said, blushing, "As long Night Captor's around, I would back her up anytime, anyplace."

I walk inside as Mom ask, "So, how was school today?"

I realize that I don't want Mom or Dad to worry about me being unaware of magic. 

"Oh, it's fine. Is there any pudding left?" I ask. 

"It's in the freezer, sweetie." Dad said. 

I groan, mostly because of what the Time card did today.

Kiro said, "I'm proud of you, Lian. The Time Card is very hard to capture." 

I said, "I'm just glad Ki came when I needed him the most." 

My cellphone rang and it was Amanda. 

"Hey, Amanda, what's up?" I ask. 

"Lian, I think I just discovered your mother's Capture Videos." She said. 

I said, surprised, "You found what?"

"It was with my mother's storage closet , and I read it has labeled "Sakura Clow Cards Captures." I think our moms knew all about the Sakura Clow Cards from the very beginning, Lian. " 

I said, "Can you bring them over? I want to know all about Sakura Clow Cards." 

"Sure." 

Amanda arrives at my room as I said, "I can't wait to see my mom in action." 

Amanda smiles as she shows all my mom's Captures. 

"Amazing! I never thought your mom actually has the same talent for videoreording Captures as much as you do, Amanda." I giggled.

Kiro nods, "I have to admit, Madison is an great ally to Sakura and Lee. Without her help, Sakura wouldn't be the Master of the Sakura Clow Cards. And those battle costumes? Those were designed by her too."

Amanda said, in awe, "Wow, it seems my mom really helped Sakura and Syaoran a lot."  

I was lost in thought, seeing my parents work side by side. 

"Hey, you can live up to Lee and Sakura. You have the same instincts like them, and you have Ki to help you out." Amanda said, trying to cheer me up.  

I smiled at her, but still, I was wondering about something. 

Kiro ask, "What is it?"

"I really don't know. I am just kept thinking about this dream I had . I was Night Captor, and you and I were in top of a building facing something." 

"Like an Sakura Clow Card?" Amanda asks curiously. 

I replied, shaking my head, "I'm not sure if it is an Sakura Clow Card, Amanda. I can't tell what or who is it." 

The Guardian Beast said, "It sounds like a vision to the future, Lian. You must be on your guard, at all times." 

"I know, Kiro. That is what worries me. I just hope that I can find the Clow Cards."
