There needs to be change. People have been crying and dying for way too long and now we're defying; we're defying the odds and going down a road that generations before us have been too afraid to go down. The new generation is change; Gen Z is the change. We are creating an uproar on social media and in every street for equality. We are signing petitions, making donations, protesting, making signs, sending calls, letters, texts, and emails to voice our distaste for the current injustice that's occurring in today's society. We are sharing news and going through uncomfortable conversations to get our voices out there and influence others to do the same.

 We are strong. We have new ways of enforcing a newer, better future in ways that our ancestors couldn't. Even if we can barely order for ourselves at restaurants, we will not hesitate to overthrow the government and yell in faces for change and equality. We will not hesitate to be a force that the government is scared of. Our president may hide at the face of adversity, but we will not. We will fight for what we believe in and be the change that America and the rest of the world needs.

People will say that all lives matter. Of course, all lives matter, but people are using it in mockery of a second civil rights movement, or using it due to a lack of understanding. "All Lives Matter" can't be correctly used until all lives are equal. All lives don't matter until black lives matter. All lives don't matter until trans lives matter. All lives don't matter until Latinx lives matter. All lives don't matter until LGBTQIA+ lives matter. All lives don't matter until Asian lives matter. All lives don't matter until they're put at the same level as cisgender, heterosexual white males. All lives don't matter until all lives are equal. Until white supremacy, racism, xenophobia, homophobia, misogyny, sexism and all the other phobias and isms are abolished.

America needs to change, and we are that change.
