Squid

        Nicole and Stampy burst through the door, and Ash comes in after. Nicole runs over to me and hugs me, right where the sword was. "Nicole," I gasp. She realizes what she did and releases me. "Sorry, David..." she trails off when she sees me. "What happened, mate?" Stampy asks me. "According to Finnball, I turned into my human self, and there's a small chance I'll turn back," I answer. "You look cool," Nicole says, grinning. "Thanks," I smile. "I agree, you do look pretty cool. I wonder what my human self looks like," Stampy says. "This is my human self, I was never anything else," Nicole says. "Is that possible?" I ask Finnball. "Yea, it is. I was born my human self as well," he replies. "I'm still a cheese," Ash jokes.

        "Can we come in?" I hear Amy ask from the doorway. "Sure," I respond. Amy, Sqaishey, and Rosie come inside with concerned expressions on their faces. "Squid! What happened?" Rosie asks in shock. I grin at their faces. "I turned into my human self. Pretty cool, huh?" I explain. "Cool! Now we can be twins!" Amy exclaims. I raise my eyebrows in confusion. "What?" I ask. "I was born my human self, like Finnball, and..." she looks over at Nicole. "Nicole," she answers quickly. "Right," Amy says. "So those things that look like fins on your legs?" I ask. "Leggings," she replies simply. "What about your hair?" Ash asks. "Yes, it's really this pink," she mock-sighs.

        "What would I look like?" Sqaishey wonders out loud. "I'm sure you'd look just as amazing as you do now," Stampy says, kissing her cheek. Sqaishey blushes bright red. "Ooo! How long have you guys been a thing?" I ask in my cheeky girl voice. "About a month," Sqaishey says, smiling. "And you didn't tell me?!" Amy exclaims. "This isn't about us, it's about Squid," Stampy interrupts. "Nah, I'm fine. Can I leave now?" I ask no one in particular. "Why not," Finnball answers. I jump up from the bed, then clutch my chest in pain. "I guess I forgot about being stabbed," I joke. A groan escapes my mouth and I stumble a little.  Ash comes over to help me stay standing. "Maybe you should rest at home for a while. About two or three days," Finnball says. "Fiiiiine," I groan childishly.

        I lean on Ash's shoulder as he leads me home. "So, that's what Nicole looks like," Ash says. "Yea, that's her," I say. "She's cute. You should ask her out," he says. I look over at him and pause for a moment. "Maybe I will, but not while I'm still recovering," I say finally. "Why not?" he asks, "you don't have to go on a proper date until you're better, but you can still ask." I guess that'd work, but she'd have to say yes. "I guess I can ask," I reply. "She'll say yes for sure. But while we're on the topic of your future wife," I glare at him and he grins, "what was up with those powers?" I shrug. "Don't know. I didn't even know she had them," I say. "Weird."

        We come up to my house and walk inside. I smile when I see the ink sacs I put in item frames as decoration. I lay down on my bed and Ash sits down on a chair next to it. "You feeling better, buddy?" he asks me. "Yea, I feel pretty good. I just don't know if I can stay in bed that long," I laugh. "Alright, I'm gonna head home," he laughs. "Mkay, bye," (who gets that reference?) I say. He gets up and walks out of my bedroom. A few seconds later I hear the door open and close again.

        I look down at the bandage that is on my stomach from the sword. It's still a little bloody, but doesn't hurt much. I think it might need stitches. I flop back down on my fluffy pillow, and close my eyes.

Amy

        "Nicole, he's gonna be okay," I reassure her. I had no idea that Squid had met anyone else in Stampy's world. Why wouldn't he tell us about her? And why did Ash only know who she was. She sniffs loudly and looks at me. "I'm just worried about him. I know David'll be okay." So his name is David? When I met him he told me just to call him Squid. Now I know his real name. 

        "Darling, why don't I bring you to the sleep over we're having tonight. It's gonna be me, Sqaishey, Rosie, and Finnball," I offer. She sniffs loudly again. "Okay. But why is Finnball coming?" she asks me with a confused look on her face. "Because he loved the last one. And he asked," I laugh. She laughs too and we get up from the bench we were on and head to my house.

        We came into my house just as the googlies started spawning outside. Nicole and I rushed towards my house. I took out my bow and she took out a sword to fend off the zombies and skeletons spawning around us. We quickly open and shut the door to my house, drop our weapons, and sit on the ground. Over our panting, I can hear a few zombies banging on my door. I can tell they're going to break it soon, and from her facial expression, so can Nicole.

        We look at each other for a moment, pick our weapons back up, stand up, and I open the door. Nicole immediately starts swinging her sword at the zombies, killing them one by one. I follow her outside, holding stacks of torches in my hand, and start placing them frantically around my house. Once I run out, I look around me to see a few skeletons and spiders. I shoot them down with my bow and look for Nicole. She's standing next to a dead spider with a sword in it's middle, panting loudly. "That...was quite a...rush," she pants. I nod and we go back inside my house.

        "You have any pajamas?" I ask her. She shakes her head and I run down the hall. I start rooting through my drawers for a pair of PJ's and find one that fits her style. It's a purple t-shirt with a T-Rex on it, and long black pants. I grab an extra pair of slippers- luckily purple as well- and bring them back out to her. She smiles at me and goes back down the hall and into the bathroom. A few minutes later she comes out wearing the clothes I gave her with her dark brown hair draped on her shoulders. "You look amazing! Loves it!" I yell, clapping my hands excitedly. She grins widely and sits on the blankets that I laid on the ground.

        I hear banging on the door and for a second I'm worried that more zombies are trying to break in, but then I hear a voice call out, "hey Amy! Can we come in?" It's Rosie, probably with Sqaishey and Finnball. I go over to the door and open it to see exactly who I predicted would be there. When Rosie and I see each other, we squeal loudly, causing Finnball to cover his ears and Sqaishey to laugh.

        They walk inside carrying their pajamas, but Finnball has a movie in his hand as well. "What's that about?" I ask him. "Oh, it's a medieval times romance. To fit my kingly personality of course!" he says, grinning. I laugh then hear Rosie and Sqaishey squeal loudly and plonk down on either side of Nicole. "I didn't know you'd be here!" Rosie exclaims. Nicole smiles at her. "The more the merrier, especially if it's you," Sqaishey adds in. "Why are you guys so excited? You don't know anything about me," Nicole giggles. "We don't need to know anything to be able to tell that you're going to be a fun person to hang out with," Rosie says.

        "Let's just watch the movie," I suggest. "I'll make the popcorn!" Sqaishey offers. "I wanted to do that!" Rosie complains. They jump up and bustle into the kitchen to try to be the first one in. I sigh loudly and roll my eyes, causing Nicole and Finnball to laugh. I sit down by Nicole and Finnball runs into the bathroom to change into his PJ's.

        A few minutes later Rosie and Sqaishey bring tons of popcorn in. Nicole covers her mouth in shock.  "You guys didn't need to make that much!" I exclaim, trying to hold back a laugh. I look over at Nicole to see that she has purple sparkles above her head. "Nicole! What did you do?" I ask in excitement. I crawl over to touch the sparkles above her. "No don't!" she yells, but too late. I touch one of them and it spikes my hand. "Ouch!" I yell, rubbing my finger. "Amy those are poisonous!" Nicole yells. I look down at my hand to see that it's glowing bright purple and feel all color drain from my face. "Don't worry, it's easy to get out," she says quickly.

        She brings me into the kitchen and turns on the faucet. She takes my hand and puts it under the water. After a few seconds she pulls it back out and it's a normal color again. "There you go," she says. "Thanks," I say, smiling gratefully. She smiles back at me and we go back in the other room.

        "Yes they did! Popcorn is awesome!" I hear Finnball say as we come out. He's wearing the same pajamas as last time. "Finnball, I like your PJ's," Nicole laughs. "Thanks!" he says, sitting down. We sit down next to him as Sqaishey gets up. "I'm gonna go change," Sqaishey announces. "Me too," Rosie says. "Amy, can I change in your room?" Rosie asks me. "Sure!" I say as they grab their pajamas and run down the hallway.

        They come back out just as Finnball starts the movie. Rosie slides in next to me and grabs one of the many bowls of popcorn. "I still think that's ridiculous," I say to her as Finnball fast-forwards the previews. She shrugs and shoves some more in her mouth. I grab some from her bowl as the movie starts.

Before you yell at me, I know I haven't updated in a while. I just went back to school on Monday and it's been really stressful. And on top of that I started the sequel to A Silver Thimble, so check that out if you haven't already. I've already thought of a really good plot to it, I just have to remember until the time is right. And I want to thank you guys for over 800 reads!!!!! That's insane!!!
