Jackson went out of his car with his hand massaging his temple.

He's been sleep deprived lately because of his producer who's been pressuring him to finish his upcoming album.

He's too busy that he couldn't even go out with his friends nor find someone to be romantically involved with.

Unlike his friend Namjoon who seemed to be having a love interest these days, Jackson's love life is a whooping zero.

As he trudge inside the Hybe building, he passed by the conference room where he saw a group of aspirants.

Jackson didn't pay much attention to them as he looked for PD Bang in his office to have his music checked for improvements or revisions.

He didn't knock nor announce his arrival as he opened the door to his producer's office and saw the man having a discussion with his team.

"Hey, PD-nim." Jackson greeted, making his way to the older's table.

He nodded at the other people in the room as a greeting before placing his music drive on the table.

"This is from last time." Jackson said which earned a nod from PD Bang.

"I'll look at it later." PD Bang uttered, dismissing Jackson who didn't leave and just stared at the papers and profiles the older was holding.

"Looking for new artists?" Jackson asked.

"Yeah. Someone who won't make my head hurt." PD Bang responded which made Jackson grin.

"Good luck with that." He whispered as he finally took his leave.

"See ya around, PD-nim." He said before closing the door behind.

He made his way out of the building, passing by the room where the aspirants were waiting.

He was about to come inside when the door opened and a man hurriedly rushed out, bumping to him in a harsh impact.

"What the-!" Jackson glared at the man who was already walking out of the building.

"Rude." He murmured afterwards.

He took a step inside the room when he noticed a CD case on the floor and almost stepped on it.

Curious, Jackson picked it up and asked the people in the room for the owner, but no one claimed it.

"Don't tell me.." Realization finally hit him as he ran after the rude guy who didn't even say sorry after bumping to him.

He was able to see the guy walking from across the street.

Jackson ran after him and was able to caught the man by his shoulder.

"Hey..." Jackson huffed for air as the man turned to face him.

He looked surprised and at the same time confused as he stared at Jackson.

"You dropped this." Jackson said, handing the CD to the other.

He saw the shock on his face as he took the CD from him in a snap.

"Thanks." The man said, now looking at the item.

"Aren't you going to audition in Hybe?" Jackson asked, curious as to why this man suddenly decided to run even before the screening started.

"I'm not... It's nothing but a blank CD." The man said before bowing a little.

He took a turn and went back to walking even before Jackson could say something.

"Who would go to an audition with a blank CD?" Jackson whispered to himself, totally weirded out by the said man.

He saw him drop the CD on the trash bin before turning to the corner of the street and disappearing from Jackson's sight.

"Weird guy." Jackson mumbled.

He shrugged as he took a step going back to Hybe, but something in him made him stop.

He turned around and found himself going for the CD on the trash bin.

He saw the name Jung Hoseok on the case which finally gave the weird guy a name he could refer to.

"I must be mad." Jackson whispered to himself, taking the CD with him before running back to the building.

He went straight to listen to whatever was in the CD with a title Piece of Peace.

A cool yet chill tempo resonated in the room as the music started.

"Blank, huh?" Jackson commented.

He was moving his head to the intro but was soon halted when he finally heard the voice blending well with the beat.

That Hoseok guy has such a good flow. His voice is uniquely soothing and his singing voice is good too.

"Shit." Jackson quickly took the CD and headed back to PD Bang's office.

He just barged in that made the older facepalm.

"What is it again, Jackson?" PD Bang asked as he gazed at the man rushing to his side.

"Listen to this. I might just have found a potential addition to our family." Jackson said.

"Hey, dude." Namjoon tapped Jackson by the shoulder as he saw the latter in the office.

"Hey. Long time no see." Jackson greeted back with a grin.

"How's everything going?" Namjoon asked, taking the seat next to the other.

"Everything's great. Finally had a breather from PD-nim." Jackson responded with a smile.

"Good to know. You've been working your ass off nonstop." Namjoon commented.

"Actually.." Jackson suddenly moved closer to Namjoon to whisper.

"I only got away from PD-nim because I was able to scout a new talent." Jackson proudly said.

"You? Scouting?" Namjoon asked in disbelief.

"It was just coincidental. The guy's good. His name is Jung Hoseok." Jackson informed which earned a surprised look from Namjoon.

"Jung Hoseok auditioned here?" Namjoon blurted which surprised Jackson as well.

"You know him? Jung Hoseok as in tall and good-looking?" Jackson confirmed.

"Uh.. yeah." Namjoon nodded.

"We jammed a bit with his friend Yoongi." He added as he took his phone and showed Hoseok's ig profile to Jackson.

"I told him to audition here, but he said he doesn't want to." Namjoon said which made Jackson snicker.

"That explains why he trashed his song that day. He's probably hesitating." He mumbled before moving closer to Namjoon to whisper once more.

"You see, I kind of endorsed him to PD-nim and he said he'll take him in." Jackson informed making Namjoon smile.

"That would be a great news to him. I'll tell him now." Namjoon was about to dial Hoseok's number but was immediately halted by Jackson.

"Uh.. could you tell him you're the one who endorsed him to PD-nim? I don't want him to be awkward with a total stranger like me. At least you're friends with him so he'll like it." Jackson suggested.

Though Namjoon didn't quite understand, he agreed nevertheless.

Due to this, Hoseok was signed up for the Hybe label after a week.

Jackson would see him in the company from time to time, but they would just greet each other, bow a little, but that was all there is to it.

There were times when Jackson would hear Hoseok hum to his song which made him smile unknowingly.

His eyes seemed to always find him whenever their paths crossed coincidentally.

It became his habit to search for Hoseok in a crowded room during meetings and he would usually find him laughing with his friends.

And every time he does smile, Jackson finds himself smiling as well.

He began stalking him on ig, silently liking his posts without really letting his presence be known.

Not until he could no longer ignore the attraction he could feel for the other and his bright smile that seemed to calm him.

So when the opportunity opened, Jackson grabbed it.

He paced back and forth in the room until a notification of reply came.

Jackson almost jumped, his heart seemingly overly excited for such a plain and simple reply.

However, anything could start from a simple reply.

As Jackson stared at Hoseok's pictures, he couldn't help but smile.

From a simple encounter and a blank CD, his love story began.
