"Turn your head a bit to this side."

Taehyung did exactly what he's told, turning his head a little to the right before the flash came.

"Beautiful."

He heard Jeongguk say which made him smile as he stared at the lens of the camera, knowing fully well that his man has his eyes on him.

Another flash came, capturing his smile that had the ravenette smiling too.

"This one is mine to keep." Jeongguk whispered just enough for Taehyung to hear.

The latter couldn't stop himself from smiling as the shoot continued. As much as he wanted to get lost in Jeongguk's praises and the obvious amusement in his eyes, Taehyung had to be professional.

After all, this shoot would be for a top magazine. Not to mention, it's his first time being the front cover.

"Okay. Last two shots." Jeongguk informed.

Taehyung posed for the camera, immersing himself in his role as the camera flashes.

"Great job, beautiful. That's a wrap." Jeongguk smiled as he placed his camera on the table before heading towards him.

Taehyung couldn't hide his smile when Jeongguk handed him a bottled water.

"I'll have Ara accompany you in the dressing room, okay?" Jeongguk said, pertaining to one of his assistants. He still had to talk with the client for the shots they would include in the magazine.

Taehyung didn't complain as he went to the dressing room where the assistant soon followed.

"You did an amazing job as usual." Ara praised, earning a shy smile from him.

"That's so kind of you to say. Thank you." Taehyung uttered, taking the change of clothes the woman handed.

"I'll be outside in case you need me." Ara said before leaving him to change.

Taehyung simply replied 'thanks' and the door finally closed. He sighed, resting his tired body on the couch as he shut his eyes.

He's been working nonstop these days, yet he's not complaining. He enjoyed it especially with Jeongguk around.

Last week, he had a shoot for a cosmetic brand which will be out in a few days. It was a fun shoot and he thoroughly enjoyed.

Now, he's up for a cover of a top magazine, and it felt surreal.

Never in his life did he picture himself doing something like this.

"Life is truly fascinating." He murmured to himself before finally indulging to the call of slumber.

Taehyung couldn't tell how long he had slept when he felt a hand caressing his face. As he opened his eyes, he was welcomed by the face of the person that could bring a smile to his lips in an instant.

"Hey, beautiful." Jeongguk smiled, helping him up in a sitting position.

"Is your meeting done?" Taehyung asked, voice deep from sleeping.

"Yeah. Everyone is already home." Jeongguk informed.

Taehyung's eyes widened as he covered his face with his hand.

"Sorry. I fell asleep and forgot about the time." He murmured, feeling Jeongguk wrap his arms on his waist as he rested his head on the crook of his neck.

"It's okay. I'm actually glad you were able to rest." Jeongguk whispered, planting a soft kiss on Taehyung's neck that made him sigh in satisfaction.

"Shall we head home so you could fully rest?" Jeongguk suggested to which Taehyung nodded.

He held his hand out as Jeongguk helped him to get up from the couch before intertwining their hands together.

Taehyung smiled like a lovesick teenager, feeling the warmth in the ravenette's hand.

He didn't let go of him as they headed out of the studio and into the car where Jeongguk continued to make him feel safe with his hand on him.

As the ravenette drove him home, he would squeeze his hand from time to time, light enough just to make him feel loved.

"Are you sure you don't want to stay with me tonight?" Jeongguk asked, eyes pleading him.

Taehyung almost wanted to go home with him but decided to firmly decline.

"Next time, okay?" He whispered, caressing his hand on the side of Jeongguk's face.

"Okay, I understand." Jeongguk said.

Taehyung looked outside the window, trying to stop himself from melting at the sad expression on the other's face.

He looked like a puppy who didn't get to receive his treat.

They drove in silence until they finally reached Taehyung's home.

"I'll see you on Monday, okay?" Taehyung uttered, leaning towards Jeongguk to give him a kiss on the lips.

It was just a peck and before the other could respond, Taehyung was already walking out of the door.

"Drive safely, Ggukie. Message me once you're home, okay?" He smiled, seeing the cute pout on the latter's lips.

He wanted to laugh but tried his best not to as the other finally drove away.

Taehyung quickly ran inside the house where he saw Jimin waiting for him in the living room.

"Where's my package?" Taehyung asked to which Jimin pointed at the dining table.

"Not even a hi?" Jimin pouted as Taehyung ran to check his package.

"Don't pout. I love you, okay?" Taehyung chuckled, opening the box with rushed hands. He was eagerly waiting for it to arrive since yesterday.

Taehyung opened the box as Jimin approached him, peeking from his shoulders to see the contents.

"A for effort." Jimin mumbled that had Taehyung smiling.

He's planning a surprise birthday party for Jeongguk which explains why he declined his offer to stay overnight and spend the weekend with him.

He's going to visit the resort tomorrow with Jimin and he wanted to personally set up the decorations and all.

"It's our first time celebrating his birthday together." Taehyung uttered, wanting to make everything special.

"I'll be meeting Jin-hyungie this Sunday. I'll tell him the details." Jimin informed.

"Thank you, Chim." He smiled before taking out his gift for the ravenette.

It wasn't extravagant, but he just hoped Jeongguk would love and appreciate his efforts.
