Chapter 45, Café

THIRD POV

When they reached his house, Shirome and Kota took turns to take a bath.

Once they were done they changed to their casual clothes. And where did Shirome's clothes come from? Kita had bought it on their way to his house. At first, the girl wanted to stop him and use her own money instead, but Kita told her to just stay quiet and let him pay.

They were greeted by a cheerful Atsumu when they entered the café. Osamu poked Suna's side to wake him up, and the dark brunette raised his head from the table only to be met by Osamu teasing him. Shirome smiled when Atsumu patted her head, Osamu squinted his eyes as if just noticing his twin's behaviour. Suna was about to be thankful that he stopped with the tease, but read Atsumu's behaviour towards Shirome. They both frowned.

"Ya don't think he likes her, do you?" Osamu quitely asked the semi-awake Suna. He shook his head.

"Hell if I know. They just met, like, 3 or 2 days ago or something," He muttered, "Or maybe he does. He's an idiot either way."

Shirome sat infront of them while Atsumu and Kita went infront to order food. Both of them became silent as they looked away.

"Hmm," She rested her chin on both palms that were propped up on the table, observing the both. Osamu's eyes widened when he turned to her, she blinked at him. Suna couldn't move his head to look at her, he felt like if he looked— his eyes will stay glued at her for a long time. He didn't like it.

"What's yer stare for?" The silver head asked, slight uneasy.

She lightly shrugged and leaned on the back of her chair, "I just thought it was cool. You and Atsu-kun look really identical except for the facial expressions."

"Well, yeah," He shifted, "We're twins after all. Do you not know what twins are?"

The girl laughed, "My bad. You're funny."

Suna turned to her out of impulse. Osamu just looked at the Menu again.

"Did you want another order?" Shirome asked Osamu as he flipped through the Menu.

Osamu hummed, "I guess an extra onigiri would make me happy."

"I'll text Atsumu," She said as she pressed on her phone.

"Why are you like that?" Suna bluntly asked her.

She hummed in confusion, "What do you mean?"

"That," Suna shrugged, "You look like you know you can make anyone like you, and that you can catch their attention. Like, you just accept how people think you're flawless."

Shirome frowned. Osamu quitely kicked Suna's foot under the table, a sign to tell him to stop. He didn't react though, he just genuinely wanted to know what's the deal with her.

They were taken aback when Shirome laughed.

"I know, right? People are weird," She giggled, "Kita said that to me too before. What a coincidence."

"Oh? He did?" Suna asked, intrigued as he crossed his arms.

Shirome nodded with a smile, "He was like, 'Shirome, you think you can just make people like you?' when we were kids. It was hilarious because he panicked when I cried!" She continued to laugh after she made an impression of Kita.

The corner of Suna's mouth twitched to a small smile, "I would've loved to see his face that time."

"Actually, I have a picture of it! My mom took it," Shirome slightly gasped and opened her gallery. When she showed it to Suna, he bursted laughing, along with Osamu.

"Wait, can you send me that?" Suna said, still laughing.

Shirome nodded as she sent it to him when they exchanged contacts. Osamu asked for it as well.

"Kita-san must've been so scared, he's less scary as a kid. How old were you guys during this time?" Osamu snickered as he looked over baby pictures of Kita constantly making Shirome cry.

Shirome hummed, "We were around 5-10 during those times. It was really funny."

The three continued to laugh together over stories about Kita's younger days. They didn't expect their intimidating captain to have that side.

I understand now. Suna smiled to himself.

"Oi, apologize to her," Osamu whispered to Suna as he lightly elbowed his side.

Suna turned to him and blinked at Shirome who just stared confused, "Oh, and about earlier. I'm sorry for being rude. I totally accept you now."

Osamu rolled his eyes, "At least try to be more genuine about it."

"It's okay," Shirome chuckled, "I like his personality. Most of the time, it's difficult for me to talk with guys."

That's probably because you make them nervous. Osamu and Suna sweatdropped as they thought of the same conclusion.

"You're lucky you met us," Suna jokingly said as he tried to make a meme of Kita's baby picture.

"I really am," Shirome blushed a little and smiled as she looked at them both.

This girl! Osamu blushed.

Jeez, I get it, like, really. Suna just shook his head with a smirk after he looked at her. He enjoyed her attitude.

"Shiro-chan~, I got you warm milk and cinnamon bun," Atsumu chirped at the girl.

Her head whipped to him and gladly took her food. Kita raised a brow as he put the rest of the group's order om the table and tried to look at Suna's phone, seeing a faint vision of a familiar picture.

Suna's eyes widened as he failed to put his phone away.

"Rintaro, I might've put it wrong," Shirome acted to panic, which stopped Kita to completely look over.

He sighed in relief as she saved him. He nodded and handed his phone to her.

"I think I put my other phone's number as your contact. Sorry," She laughed and went to the contacts fast.

Thank you, god Shirome. You let me live another day. Suna leaned on the table with his elbows propped on it.

"It's aight. You done?" Suna asked as he sipped on his drink.

Kita sat down next to her, "Yeah? Let me see."

"Let me see too," Atsumu peeked from beside Suna.

"Here," Shirome showed them Suna's phone after taking a quick selfie to put as the picture which displayed her contact profile.

He nodded and started eating. Osamu and Suna nodded at her with respect. She just shot them a wink and returned Suna's phone to him. Atsumu was happily eating his food.

"Atsumu, can we switch seats if you don't mind? I want to know Suna's instagram," She asked the blonde.

Kita raised a brow, "Why?" He sighed as he saw Shirome's eyes, afraid that she'll tear up again if he stopped her, "Fine."

He frowned, "Aww, why not me?"

Suna pushed him away, "Get out. I'm sending her reels."

The guy whined as he stood stiff beside Kita. Osamu also asked for her Instagram, followed by Atsumu. Kita didn't have one so he just continued eating.

"I just made this few days ago. Though I only follow a few – which are three of my club members, Ameri, Tendo, my brother, manager, and my supervisor," She said, proud that she made her own social media after years of prohibiting herself from making a single account.

They all sweatdropped at the ratio. Shirome's account has 3 posts, 479k followers, and only followed 11 including the three boys.

Osamu only had 1766 and followed 34 with 3 posts of food, Atsumu had 2082 and followed 20 with 3 posts of a mirror shots consisting of volleyball and gym, and Suna had 1876 and followed 32 with 1 post of a skateboard with low exposure.

"Are you not used to social media?" Osamu asked with his mouth stuffed with food.

She shook her head, "My older brother said to only make an account once I knew how it works."

Atsumu gasped, "Shiro-chan, this is a cool picture? Your team, right?" He asked as he looked at a group photo of Fushichou, with Ameri jumping with a blur, and Shirome as the one taking the picture. It was a group selfie which had the other members behind her posing, along with her manager, supervisor, and Kuroo who looked like he was trying to stop Ameri from jumping. The photo had 76k likes and 54k comments.

"Yooo," Suna said when he saw the 2nd post of Shirome. It was a mirror shot – her in a black, sparkly long, fitted, backless dress, and black heels with red bottoms. She was facing sideways and holding a champagne.

"It's actually just sparkly apple juice. I'm not allowed for champagne yet," She sheepishly laughed.

Atsumu, Suna, and Osamu sweatdropped as they saw the likes count. It was 505k.

"Wow, you're famous," Kita said as he sipped his drink. He went along watching them explore each other's accounts.

Shirome blinked and looked up, "Really? I don't even know where they came from..."

The girl was genuinely curious as the boys just sighed.

"Ooh! I like this one," Osamu said, pointing at the 3rd post. It was you standing beside a familiar person with bleached hair holding the phone, it had 237k likes and 83k comments

Atsumu's eyes widened, "Is that Nico Robin cosplay?? Enies lobby? Damn."

Suna whistled lowly as they stared at it. Kita raised a brow.

"Oh, isn't that the event you went to with Kenma? He made you wear that cosplay, right? I'm still annoyed at it," Kita grumbled.

"He said his favorite youtuber was attending the event. The event said you have to be cosplaying a character from One Piece to get an autograph from him, so he made me get it," Shirome laughed at the memory.

Kita's gaze darkened, "Yeah and what happened after? Security had to surround you so the other people there would stop jumping at you with their cameras."

The three of them sweat in fear because of how he looked while Shirome nervously laughed.

"Yeah.. and Kenma unsubscribed from the youtuber when we went back home."

"Because he was hugging you too long," Kita rolled his eyes and clanged his utensils on his plate after he finished eating.

"Yeah, it was weird. Kenma ripped the autographed paper in pieces," Shirome said as she ate the last portion of her food.

"Must've been stressful for him," Suna mumbled.

Atsumu laughed, "He acted just the way I would."

"True that," Osamu said, mouth still filled with food.

After minutes of eating and talking in between, Kita sighed, "Let's go. You still need to return to Tokyo tomorrow."

"Already?" Suna frowned. Osamu smirked at him and Atsumu teasingly looked at him.

"Shinsuke, mom wants to text you," Shirome said as she handed her phone to him.

"So are you staying for a few more minutes?-" Atsumu was cut off by a girl's voice.

"Suna..."

The said boy looked away and pretended to not hear her. He scrolled through his phone with a hand propped to the table, his cheek resting on it.

The brown haired girl cleared her throat, "Hey... didn't expect to see you here. Do you remember me? I'm Lori.."

Suna continued to ignore her.

"This is awkward," Atsumu whispered to Osamu who nodded silently. Kita was texting Shirome's mom using her phone, not looking at the girl who just appeared.

"Go away," Suna boredly said, eyes not leaving his phone. Shirome just blinked, not knowing what to do on her seat.

Lori turned her eyes from Suna to Shirome who was staring at her. The brown haired girl's eyes widened in shock at the beautiful girl she was seeing.

So that's why the people here were whispering about this table.. I thought it was only because of the boys.. The girl sweatdropped.

"Who are you?" Lori coldly asked. The boys' ears twitched.

Shirome gave her a small smile, "I'm Shi..-"

"Nevermind that. Suna, a word?"

Kita turned the phone off and raised a brow at the girl. Atsumu leaned back on the seat with his arms crossed looking at the girl. Osamu sideyed her. Suna stood up and faced her.

He looked down at her with a cold gaze, "I said go away, didn't I? I don't remember you. You're bothering us."

"That's bullshit! My classmates told me that you liked me!" The girl shouted, catching eyes of the people that were sitting near them.

He frowned, "And you believed them?"

Lori's face burned bright red.

She was about to slap him when Shirome smoothly directed her hand down as she stood up.

"Miss, I'm sorry... do you need water? You seem quite red...," Shirome asked as she handed her a glass of water from the table.

The girl was furious. She attempted to slap the glass away from her hand but Kita's hand gripped her wrist.

"You forget your manners," Kita calmly said.

The twins stood up with their height and walked away from the table, watching from a small distance as they waited for them to finish up so they can leave the cafe. Atsumu had his hands in his pockets as he looked around bored, while Osamu stood with his hands clasped loosely together. Suna moved away as well with his hand holding Shirome's.

Lori was taken aback and got nervous, "P-President!"

"The council will choose a replacement for the 2nd years' representative on Monday. You may go," Kita coldly said as he let go of her wrist and walked over to the others.

"Show respect to his girlfriend girl," A lady giggled at her. Lori continued to blush from embarrassment.

"You got confidence, kid!" A random customer near the table laughed at her. Lori yelped when someone splashed their glass of water to her.

The guys rolled their eyes and started to walk away. Shirome took her hand from Suna, confusing him.

She went near to Lori and handed her handkerchief. She smiled apologetically.

"I'm sorry for the trouble," Shirome softly said and turned to the guy who splashed water to her. Her cold gaze petrified him.

She frowned, "Please respect others more.. we're just highschoolers."

The guy blushed in embarrassment and sat frozen. The other customers went silent as they minded their own business again.

Shirome looked at Lori who started to cry.

"Use this to dry yourself. Stay safe, and good day," She smiled at her and was about to return to the others when Lori held her hand.

Kita was about to go near them again when Shirome raised her hand to stop him, low behind her as if she knew he'd come.

"... Is there anything else you need?" She asked.

Lori sniffled, "I didn't know Suna already has a girlfriend. I've embarrassed myself today. I apologize."

The girl was about to bow when Shirome stopped her by the chin with her pointer finger.

"It's alright. You didn't know," Shirome smiled. Lori was frozen in shock as she watched the snow haired girl return.

Lori gripped the handkerchief and looked at it.

Louis Vuitton...

"Bahahahaha!!!"

The twins laughed the moment they left a few steps from the cafe. Kita pinched the bridge of his nose with eyes closed. Suna was snickering at the picture of Lori whose eyes were filled with embarrassment.

"Did ya see her face?!" Atsumu cackled with tears in his eyes as Osamu's face was turning red from laughing too much.

"Stop it. Both of you. Show some respect," Kita said as the twins stopped. They were having a hard time stopping their laughter.

"You're the one who removed her from the student council, lol," Suna chuckled but stopped when Kita looked at him.

Kita sighed, "I don't need disrespect in my office."

"Rintaro, delete those," Shirome sternly told Suna. He rolled his eyes and deleted the pictures of the girl.

"I didn't like your treatment towards her," Shirome muttered with arms crossed as they walked.

Atsumu sighed hard, "C'mon Shiro. She was about to hit you back then."

"We don't really like girls like that," Osamu shrugged.

"Real," Suna mumbled as he slipped his phone back to his pocket.

"I'm pretty sure I wasn't the only one who noticed something, right?" Atsumu started.

"Yeah," Osamu agreed, turning to Suna and Shirome. Kita glanced at them as well.

"What is it?" Shirome asked.

Suna looked away with the tips of his ears pink.

"BAHAHAH!"

"HAHSHWH!"

The twins started laughing again.

The girl was so confused.

Suna cleared his throat, "Earlier, when she said she thought I didn't have a girlfriend, pertaining to you. You said it's fine because she didn't know."

"Ahh, that," Shirome hid her blush and looked away, "Sorry, I wanted to spare the time explaining to her. I hope it won't hassle you because of that."

"It's fine," Suna shrugged and sighed. The twins shot him teasing looks as he just rolled his eyes at them.

"We'll miss you!" Atsumu and Osamu waved at Shirome and Kita when they went inside a cab back home. Suna gave her a small smile and waved as well.

She waved back to all of them and sighed as she sat inside the car with Kita sitting at the passenger seat. The girl was almost already dozing off.

What a day..
