EMMAS POV

"Breakfast!!" I yell putting two plates of scramble eggs and two mugs of hot cocoa with cinnamon.

Annabelle and Henry came out of the hallway and sat on the two stools.

"Annabelle, before you go, what are the rules?"

"To be good and not use magic mommy" she said sounding a little annoyed for a 5 year old.

"Good girl" I said smiling and putting her deep brown hair behind her ear as she stuffed her face with the scramble.

"Henry, I'm picking you up from school early, you have a dentist appointment" I said leaving the kitchen island and picking my keys up from the couch.

"Cool, what time?" He asked.

"2:30pm" I answered.

"Awesome I don't have to go to math" he said finishing his breakfast and picking up his bookbag from the floor.

"Yeah, be careful walking to school" I said kissing his forehead.

"Mom...I'm 15" he said rolling his eyes and waking out the door.

I sighed "Annabelle, let's go you don't want to be late" I said.

"Why can't daddy take me?" She asked.

"Because daddy doesn't know how to drive a car and doesn't have one" I said.

"I heard that love" Killian said walking out of the hallway with his robe on.

"I thought you were asleep"

"The day is full of surprises" he said pouring coffee into a mug.

"Mommy, were late" Annabelle said.

"Even a five year old knows your late and you don't" he said to me sarcastically.

"Yeah, well I'm leaving" I said waking up to him and kissing him.

"Ew." said Annabelle in a high pitched voice.

"Bye swan" Killian said and kissed my forehead.

Annabelle walked out the door and and so did I.

I was gonna take Annabelle to school and then I was off to the station, then hook would meet up with me and go take Henry to the dentist.

ANNABELLES POV

"Sit down and take out your books" Mrs. Kaplan shouted.

She's mean.

I sat down in the front, the kids in the back are mean.

They think I'm 'weird' and 'silent', but I don't care.

"Turn to page 26, 2 and 6" she shouted louder.

Why couldn't grandma be my teacher? She's much nicer.

30 MINUTES LATER

The bell rung, it was time for recess.

I took out a book and started reading.

"Hey, look at nerd girl" said Justin.

Justin was a bad student, bad grades, and he was always mean to other kids.

"At least I know how to read" I said back.

"Yeah, your right, but at least I have NORMAL parents"

I was getting mad now.

"My parents are normal"

"The daughter of The Savior and the pirate with one hand, yeah totally normal"

I could feel fire rising up inside me, nobody messes with my parents.

I put my hand out and created a fire ball, then I aimed right at Justin and threw it.

But he had time to step out of the way, so the fire ball hit the building setting it on fire.

"Oh no" I whispered as the building was falling from the fire.

"There you go you ruined the school messed up child"

A tear fell down my face.

"Annabelle! we are calling your parents now!" Mrs. Kaplan yelled.

What was I gonna tell mommy and daddy, they told me not to use my magic.

"Attention, we are having a school wide evacuation, please report to your bus, you will be taken home, I repeat, we are having a school wide evacuation, please report to your bus, you will be taken home." The speaker said as I walked to the front of the school while Mrs. Kaplan was calling my parents.

I broke all the rules, I wasn't good, and I used magic. I'm dead.
