No POV:

Zero and Valmet are fighting a group of mercenaries and taking cover from shots. Zero fires his blasters and shoots a few through their heads. Valmet fires an assault rifle and kills a few more before throwing a grenade. Turrets then activate, and Zero uses his speed to avoid their bullets and slice them apart.

Merc 1: We're screwed, let's get the fuck out of here.

Merc 2: Good idea.

Valmet: Not happening fellas.

Valmet then pulls out a knife and cuts through their necks, decapitating them. Zero then grabs the UBI they have on their pockets.

Zero: I know it's petty grabbing scraps, but we take whatever we can get.

Valmet: I get that. Let's get our pay.

Zero nods and the two leave with the several dead mercenaries behind them. They drive past a sign that says "Welcome to MegaCity 3". And like in the other MegaCites, Eden's Logo is literally everywhere. The two stop at a complex and knock on the door. A guard opens the peephole and allows them inside. They see an entire area that is filled with Asian food stalls and designs. They go to a building that is designed like a persian castle and are halted by two guards.

Zero: Got a mission update for Prince.

The guards scan them and allow entry. They walk through the building and eventually see a man with ancient clothing at his desk with a somber expression.

Valmet pulls out a bunch of dog tags and puts them in front of Prince.

Valmet: They're all dead. Made a mess in the warehouse as well.

Prince stays silent as Zero and Valmet wonder what happened.

Zero: Prince?

Prince: ...My beautiful Dominique. Murdered by that FUCKING Pagan Min!

Prince punches his left hand into the desk as he curses that man's name. He then lifts his arm up and shakingly puts it down as if he's forcing himself to calm a little. He grabs a suitcase and puts it down before opening it to reveal thousands of UBI credits. He then slides it to Zero and Valmet.

Prince: You two have performed remarkably in every mission I gave you. So I will give you an even greater reward: A way out of Eden.

Zero and Valmet look at each other before returning their attention to Prince. Prince pulls out a laptop and types on it before showing the screen to the two. The laptop shows the location of an old complex called the VR Facility.

Prince: Marcus Holloway is there. My men discovered that when they were out searching for any technology that Eden forgot about. He's your best bet for escaping.

Zero: Why are you telling us this?

Prince: Forgive me, but I see me and Dominique in you both. I need some time to process this all. Thank you for your hard work.

Valmet: No worries. It's been a pleasure.

Valmet and Zero begin to walk away before Prince grabs Zero's arm.

Prince: Bring me Pagan Min alive. So I can enact retribution upon him. Do that... and I will reward you with enough money to live a comfortable life outside this damned dystopia.

Zero nods and Prince lets go, allowing him to leave with Valmet. They go back to the car and drive out of MegaCity 3 and into the wasteland. Fitting to its name, it's a desolate place. After a few hours, Zero and Valmet eventually make it to the VR Facility. They notice all the graffiti around it, including the DedSec Logo on the main gates. 

Zero: I'm guessing this is it.

Valmet: Well have the words say "Fuck you, Eden". Although I do wonder how people can survive here. I mean other than baiting and catching mutant rats.

Zero: What did happen here?

Valmet: This was the hotzone when the US of A collapse. At least, that's what those that remeber a country say But are we sure Holloway is in there?

The gates open slowly and reveal the entrance to the facility.

Valmet: Guess that answer's my question.

Zero and Valmet enter the facility and see that many of its technology is still working. They also come across many cells that were obviously te opposite of whatever Eden claimed on TV. The light begin to turn on and leave a trail where they should go. The two follow it and find themselves inside a massive room with hundreds of VR Machines. Each of them with people inside.

???: Well, Well. Look at what we have here. Two people showing up and clealry want something.

They see an elderly man with a bear and a clouded eye that shows he's partially blind.

Zero: Marcus Holloway I presume.

Marcus: Correct. Now are you planning to hand me to Eden.

Valmet: Hell no. We just want out of this god forsaken dystopia.

Marcus: Let me scan you both.

Marcus holds up a scanner and scans both Valmet and Zero's eyes. He then goes to a terminal and begins gathering their information.

Zero: He's the one that hacked the broadcast feed the other day. Did he really leak his location to Eden?

Valmet: I think he did that in a place far away from this facility.

Marcus: This is interesting. Sophia Valmer. Family had a history in Finnland army until a coup began and your mother decided to high tail it out with you. Joined Eden Special forces until a misison caused the loss of your eye and you refused cybernetics, so you were removed.

Valmet: I refuse to indebted to this worthless empire. And what happend here was no different from what happened to my former home.

Marcus: I feel ya. And you kid. There's literally no information on you. Oh, Except for this file that hadn't been open for years until recently. Project Shadow. Nanites, technopathy, "temporary cybervolution". A lot of reports on you.

Zero: Constant experimenting and testing. Not a single day they didn't stab several needles in my to examine my nervous system.

Marcus: And here's something you probably never knew. A woman gave them an egg for them to grow their weapon from. Paid her off quiet nicely.

Zero: I figured.

Marcus: So, why are you both here?

Zero: An associate of ours said you can get us out of here.

Valmet: We have no intention of selling you out. We just want to leave and never come back.

Marcus is clearly skeptical of this. But the two still hope that he can give them a way out of Eden. Marcus begins typing on his terminal.

Marcus: Then prove it. Show me that you want to truly leave.

Zero: Then tell us who to kill. We'll do it.

Marcus: Nothing that straightfoward.

Several holograms form and show some kind of Pagoda. Along with some hedonistic looking bastard the three of them know.

Zero: Pagan Min.

Marcus: A motherfucking, hedonistic man-child. Thinks of himself as a grand mastermind, but we all know otherwise. He hired an associate by the name of Dominique to obtain a device called the Super Scope. However, he killed her after she called him out for being a piece of shit.

Zero remembers what Prince was sad over. Marcus then shows an image of Alex Taylor.

Marcus: And you'll be surprised by this. He got the Super Scope for Alex Taylor. Yeah, that's an image impossible to get out of my head. Anyway, Alex plans to use this thing to open a portal to Dimension X and cause chaos. As much as I hate Eden, I do not want innocents to die. Get the Super Scope, and I'll see if you're serious.

Zero: So, we do this and you'll get us out of Eden?

Marcus: We'll see.

Zero and Valmet leave and go to their car before driving away.

Zero: So, back to MegaCity 2. I think I'll bring Pagan Min to Prince.

Valmet: It would be appropriate
