Lisa's POV

"Lisa! Lisa-yah!" Rosie screams on the top of her lungs, startling me into dropping my bowl.

"What?" I deadpan, mildly annoyed as I roll my eyes.

"Guess what!?" she shrieks,  ignoring the annoying looks I gave her.

"Rosie, I don't have time for your games, we have a lot of work to do!" I reprimand, "I just got an order for a 4 layer vanilla cake with chocolate frosting and cherries!"

"So, we can handle it, we did it before!" she says cheekily, "That's why we are the most famous bakery in the town!"

"Rosie, we are the only bakery, " I say with a chuckle.

"SO?That doesn't change the fact, 'Rosie's and Angel's Bakery' is the best!" she said confidently, pushing her arms in the air.

"Also, the reason I am so excited is because they are opening up the harbour again, after the King shut it down 4 years ago, Captain Jeon has decided to open and start trade again!" she yelled, jumping in the air, her cherry red curls and floral gown bobbing up and down.

You didn't have to be a genius to know that Roseanne Park is the prettiest girl out there. Men beg for her attention and women glare at her in jealously, but everyone knows her heart  already belongs to something else.

Her heart will forever belong to food- her stomach is practically a bottom less pit.

"Do you know what this means?" she says in happiness, I genuinely smile back this time.

"It means all those unemployed people will get jobs again and our town will be happier!" I say in glee, jumping around with Rosie.

"Girls, can I have some strawberry bread?" a town's lady interrupts, walking into the tiny yet homey bakery.

"Of course miss!" Rosie says while giggling and handing her a loaf of fresh baked strawberry bread.

"Did you know Captain Jeon and his crew are the most famous crew out there, they sail the seven seas- and any treasures they discover are directly given to the people! They are the most down to earth people- never pummelled by fame- they even declined a meeting with THE King because they claimed that they are not citizens of Calora- they come from Euphoria, that super rich kingdom that has the best King!" Rosie says breathlessly.

"Calm down Rosie, looks like you already have soft sport for the Captain and you didn't even meet him!" I giggle, making Rosie turn a dark shade of red.

"What no! I just like that they help people.Beside, you know someone else has my heart..."

"Hmmm, okay,but didn't you tell me that he left town 6 years ago, maybe you should move on..." I suggest but Rosie only frowns.

"Anyway how does Captain Jeon look?" I ask curiously- trying to distract her.

"YOU DON'T KNOW HOW HE LOOK?!" Rosie screams, "I SWEAR LISA, YOU LIVE UNDER A ROCK!"

I just roll my eyes.

Justin's POV

"Are we nearing the harbour?" Chris asks, climbing up the deck, trying to rub the sleep out of his eyes.

"You should rest, you took the night shift Chris!"I suggested,  fixing my gaze on the approaching land.

"We are almost there though!" Chris blurts out, staring ahead at the land- the humble town of Vega in Calora.

"So you are saying you grew up here and still have contact with some of the people?!" I say in astonishment as we unload the ship into the town.

"Yah, I was born here, but I left when I was just 19..." Chris responds.

"Chrissssssssssssss! You brat!?" A tall man with broad shoulders and jet black hair bellows from across the street, taking fast strides towards us, the woman behind him in pursuit.

"Hyung! Its nice to-" Chris begins but the handsome man interjects.

"You brat! It took you 6 years to finally remember to come back!" he rages.

"I-"

"You just left to another kingdom, you imbecile!"

"But, Jin-"

"SHUT UP!" he screams, "Look at the way he talks back to me Verra! I raised him for god sakes!"

The Verra woman who was standing behind Jin suddenly came into view. She was an ethereal beauty, her long black hair falling across her fair, flawless skin that was plastered with a heart-shaped smile.Her stormy grey eyes emitting a slightly threatening aura.

"HYUNG! WOULD YOU STOP SHOUTING AND LISTEN TO ME!" Chris yells.

"THIS IS JUSTIN, MY FRIEND AND WE HAVE COME TO PERMANENTLY SETTEL HERE, START UP THE HARBOUR AND WHAT NOT! AND FOR THE RECORD, YOU DIDN'T RAISE ME!" Chris continues to scream in anger.

"Why are you shouting?" Jin questions.

"But, y-you-" Chris stutters.

"Annoying brat! Anyway, hello Justin,or should I say-CAPTAIN JEON,nice to finally meet you!" Jin says in friendly tone, "Can't wait to get to know you more!"

"Hi Jin?" I mutter uncertainly.

"And this my wife Verra! You can just call me jin hyung!" he says excitedly.

"Awwwwww, Chris it's been too long!" Verra says teasingly, immediately pulling on his cheeks.

"Nooona!" he yaps, rubbing his slightly swollen cheeks.

"Verra noona and Jin hyung run the restaurant across the street, best food ever!" Chris informs before proudly dragging me into the town square.

"This is The Goodies for Foodies restaurant that they run, and that over there is the library," Chris points, guiding me around like a tour guide.

 "WAIT? WHAT IS THIS?" Chris questions, pointing at a tiny- homey looking bakery with fresh treats displayed in the screen.In a pretty cursive writing, it was written- ROSIE'S AND ANGEL'S BAKERY.

"Rosie,Rosie..." Chris mumbles under his breath, slightly dazed. What's wrong with him?

"This is the best bakery in town, and the only bakery. It is special for the unique pastries- ever heard of strawberry bread or choco-vanilla cake?Well you can get it all over here." Verra says cheerfully, "You do remember Roseanne, don't you Chris?"

"Ummm, I forgot a few people noona, its been awhile right?" Chris nervously mutters while bitting his lower lip. Huh?

"It also homes the town's 'Angel'.She came to town a year after Chris left.Lily actually shelters run away slaves and helps injured people- she is a doctor but she was always a passionate backer, and well, Rosie instantly connected with her.Now, they run the bakery together."

"Also, don't tell anyone that Lily helps slaves, you know the state of this kingdom.The king would publicly hang her for that,but the whole town knows of her great deed and we put it as a secret..." Verra clarifies, "I only told you both because you claim to have come here to help give the people of this town a better life by starting up the harbour again but, one slip up about my Lily and I will bury you alive with my very own hands."

I gulp nervously.

 I couldn't help but me slightly impressed by this so-called 'Angel'.You have got to have some guts to house slaves, specially since the King would hang you for it.Not to mention, she must be a lovely girl if the whole town supports her.

"I have to go finish some work, you guys can explore the place a bit more- not much to it-its a peaceful place far from the crown city, pretty small.Chris already knows everything!" Jin clarifies, "Come on Verra!"

And just like that, Verra and Jin wave good bye, heading towards their restaurant.

"Okay, where to next?" Chris cheers.

"Lets check out the bakery!" I suggest, although the guy loves food, the mention of the bakery makes him frown.Strange.

So this chapter just sets the stage for the rest of the story.

Things start of simple but it will become one roller coaster of a ride.

Anyone wanna guess what might have happened between Roseanne and Chris???

I am planning to update almost everyday guyzzzzz.
