Uhhhhhhh
So the game of Mix the Chemicals was underway. There were mini explosions, chemical overflows, and many othet things like that. After another baking soda explosion, everyone cleaned themselves off. "Well that could've gone better." Amanda stated as she got baking soda out of her ear.
"What now?" Natie asked as she cleared her face. "We've done this several times and have not gotten any results that come close to getting us the cure we need."
"Vell maybe ve're looking at this from a different angle," Aurel pointed out. Everyone looked at him in confusion. "Vell ve are dealing vith magic right? So maybe the cure lies in magic instead of science."
"That's it Aurel!" Amanda shouted. "We need to go get some magic."
"But how are we going to do that?" Rose questioned. "The only ones who know magic are Amelia, Bell, and Maddie."
"We gotta find Bell and Maddie then. We don't know if they're non-monsters or not though, but if they are then we could form a cure, da? The only issue is trying to figure out where to find them."
The four thought for a minute before Amanda gave an answer; "In a lot of monster movies, people usually take shelter in the woods. Sometimes the monsters are there, but in this case this will be a safe house."
"Then vhat are ve vaiting for? To get bit? Let's go!"
The three girls shooshed Aurel before sneaking out the Chem lab and down a back hallway. It was dark outside with only the moonlight from the windows in the hall to guide the four humans.
As they were about to round a corner, the sound of footsteps separate to the group were heard. Everyone became stiff and got up against the wall to try and hide as a shadow lumed closer and closer. When the figure finally did reveal itself, it turned out to be Naomi, who looked human again.
"There you arr are," she sighed with relief. "I've been rooking everywhere for you arr."
"N-Naomi?" Rose stuttered before slowly approaching her friend. However, Amanda stopped her before she could get any further.
"Wait, how do we know it's really Naomi and not some trick?" Amanda questioned.
"Prease berive me Amanda," Naomi begged. "I was under the contror of that witch. I had no say in my actions. I am very sorry."
Before Amanda could say anything else, Rose ran and hugged her friend, happy to have her back. Naomi paused for a moment before hugging back. "I'm so glad you're back Naomi," Rose said, backing up so she could look her friend in the eyes. They were definitely brown ones.
"I am grad to be back as werr Rose-chan."
"Yeah well I ain't buying this," Amanda announced as she held a fire extinguisher threateningly at Naomi. "Rose get back. This is not Naomi."
"What?" Rose looked at Naomi for an answer, which she gave. It just wasn't the one Rose had wanted: Naomi smirked at Amanda before her eyes turned back to red and her claws, fox ears, and tails returned.
"How did you know?" Naomi inquired.
"Simple," Amanda replied. "I know Naomi and the Naomi I know has serious personal space issues."
Naomi cackled as Rose went back over to the group. She had really hoped that Naomi had changed back. "Now I have you four right where my Master wanted you."
"Ha!" Aurel laughed. "You may have stopped us, but it's four against one."
Naomi smirked at Aurel. "Don't you mean five against four?"
Everyone quickly looked to see their other friends surround them. Being the monsters they now were, they growled and hissed as they surrounded the humans. "Amanda," Natie whispered. "What now?"
"I'm thinking. I'll come back to you on it in a minute." Amanda whispered back.
"There is no escaping now," Katrina said. "You have no choice but to surrender."
"Yeah right Kat," Aurel huffed. "Ve're not surrendering."
"Not even for moi?" Allison asked.
Aurel blushed a little at Allison, making Tye cackle. "Now who hassss girlfriend problemssss? He hissed.
"Let's just get this over with aru," Chen said. "Master doesn't want to be kept waiting."
"Okay, I have a plan now," Amanda whispered to the group as their monsterfied friends closed in on them. "Ready...set...run!" The four humans ran as fast as they could before the monsters could close them in. They ran out the school doors and away from danger. (Cue the chase scene!)
After running for a while in the woods, the group of four stumbled across a log cabin in the woods. They ran and hid inside before they could be seen. Amanda double-locked the door, made sure the house was clear, and then got all the windows secure. "Okay, I think we're safe." Amanda panted.
"But...for how long?" Natie wondered.
"Let's not panic yet," Amanda insisted. "Let's get some rest and then once we regain our strength, we can figure out what to do next."
As they looked around the cabin, Rose found the living room with a working TV. She turned it on to reveal a news broadcast. "The world is in a stage of chaos as millions are turning into creatures of the night," the anchor woman reported. "Leaders that remain unaffected have given orders for the population unaffected to stay indoors."
Amanda then turned the TV to cartoons. "The news isn't helping us."
"What are we going to do Amanda?" Rose asked. "What if Papa's a monster now? What if we can't help anyone?"
"Don't think like that Rose. We'll get everyone back."
"You mean it?"
"Of course." To be honest though, Amanda wasn't so sure herself on what to do.
