Allison and Francois
Allison walked towards her home in her new dress that France had given to her. There was no special occasion for it, just a random gift he gave her. "I'm so 'appy Papa gave me zhis dress," Allison told herself as she walked. "I feel like a princess as I twirl around in it."
The little French girl soon saw her home and walked towards it. As soon as she opened the door, Allison coughed, finding the air in the house was horrible. It was as if someone was smoking and didn't bother to open a window. Now it had all escaped and decided to get her right in the face. To help, Allison covered her mouth with her hands to try and help prevent from breathing the smoke in. "What in zhe world?" Allison coughed. "What is zhis?" As Allison ventured into the house, she waved her hand around, trying to clear the air. "Papa? Are you 'ere?"
Soon the young, french girl found her Father was on the couch with a cigarette in his mouth.
"Papa?"
Francois puffed some smoke into the air before turning to look at Allison. "Oui?" he asked, not seeming to really care about what Allison had to say.
"Why are you smoking Papa?" Allison questioned.
"Because I felt like it."
Allison coughs even louder and harder, trying to find some fresh air. "You know *cough* zhat smoking isn't 'ealthy right?" Allison coughed.
"I know."
Now Allison was getting angered. Her Father was starting to push her buttons. Was he trying to make her mad? Why was he acting the way he was? "Zhen why are you doing it Papa?! It doesn't make sense! Besides, you said you didn't want to do it!"
Francois just ignored the child and just lit a new cigarette. "I never said zhose zhings."
"But you'll get sick if you keep smoking!"
"I'll be fine," the 2P stated as he sat up. "If you don't like zhe way I live, zhen you can leave."
Allison gasped. Did her Father just tell her to leave? Was he kicking her out of the house? No that couldn't be true! "Papa, are you telling me to leave?"
"I am just letting you know zhat if you do not agree with 'ow I live, then it'd probably be best if you left."
The young girl turned away as tears gathered in her eyes. Her Father was kicking her out! "F-Fine, I don't need you zhen," she said, trying her best not to cry. "I'll just, go stay with Amelia zhen! At least she'll welcome me into 'er 'ome. Don't come running back to me....I should've just stayed with Madam and Monsieur Bellamy!" With that, Allison runs out of the house with tears running down her face as she felt her heart breaking.
Francois sits back on the couch, not even caring that the girl had left. "What a cry baby," he simply huffed. Children were so annoying in his opinion. What was the big deal about kids? He didn't find them that interesting really. He just saw them as little people who needed you to hold their hand and teach them a bunch of stuff.
"Don't say zhat about 'er!" France yelled at his 2P from within his mind. "Allison is such a beautiful young girl and 'as zhe voice of an angel. She was a gift sent from 'eaven and I will not allow you to insult 'er like zhat!"
Francois ignored France and just laid there on the couch. "Well it's true about 'er crying," Francois said. "I've seen the memories of 'er and she cries about a lot of zhings. So do you want zhe truth or a lie?"
France had no comeback. He did want the truth but he didn't want it to be that his child was a "cry baby" that's for sure. "Oui....I mean, no.....I don't know!" France was so confused.
"Then keep quiet," Francois simply replied.
Meanwhile, with Allison, she continued running until she stopped in front of the pond that was in the park. She looked at her reflection, trying to figure out what was wrong with her. She just wanted to see her Father happy and healthy. She already lost her Mother when she was younger, she didn't want to lose the man that had raised her and held her when she cried.
"I just want Papa to be 'appy," Allison stated as she wiped away her tears.
That's when the water began to ripple on its own. Allison backed away in fear as the water continued to ripple. She then slowly crawled back to the water and saw that her reflection had changed into her Mother. Allison gasped, finding it hard to believe what she was seeing. "M-M-Mama?"
The woman in the water smiled angelically at Allison. "Do not fret mon cheri," the woman told the child. "Zhings will get better, I promise." That's when Allison felt herself being held in someone's arms. She looked up and saw her Mother there. She was in a white dress, white wings were on her back, and an angelic smile on her face.
Allison smiled as she buried her face into her Mother's shoulder. "Mama," Allison sighed as she felt her Mother's warmth heat her body. It was as if all thoughts of sadness had left her body and what was left was comfort. That's what Mothers seemed to do.
"I love you Allison, you know zhat right?" her Mother asked.
"Oui Mama," Allison answered. "I know."
"And you know I'll always be zhere for you too, right?"
"Oui, I know."
"That's good." Her Mother leaned over and gave her a kiss on her forehead. "Because I love you so much."
As Allison opened her eyes, she looked to see her Mother had disappeared, along with her warmth. Allison placed a hand to her heart and closed her eyes. "I miss you Mama."
I will always be zhere for you Allison. Those words echoed in Allison's head. She knew they were true and that's what kept her going. Just hearing her Mother's voice was enough.
Yep, this chapter had "da feels" in it. Sorry!
