Chapter Thirty-One 

its my house sunny

3rd person pov 

-Narrated by canyon- 

So we skipped a little bit of time and we didn't tell anyone what had happened but I think we have to explain because when you're stuck in South America and two of your parents die and you get the gold and everything else it takes a little while to get used to it but you hit your ride home and during those rides, You sleep the whole time because you haven't gotten any sleep at all and then when you get home you remember that you have the gold but you take some time to yourself. You go home and you bond with your parents you talk to them you apologize and you tell them everything because that's the only thing you can do

Canyon walked up to her door and she knocked on it as the door opened and out walked molly and jackson. they Embraced the girl tightly and she sighed as she held her parents and she let them hold her. She could the love seeping from them onto her and it reminded her that she was loved. She pulled away and turned to jj who walked over and got embraced by them too and she smiled at the sight of them. She thought about pope and heyward right after they had gotten back, he embraced pope and then he embraced canyon as he hugged them and held them. Canyon was finally home. 

And then you go to the bank and you sort out the gold and you figure out how much you have because you need to do that so that's what we did. next thing we decide to do is buy back the house because we needed a home but here jj is being the stupid one as always and trying to bet all of our money.

The auction was going and i stood next to pope as we came up with a plan, we were going to go up only 1 dollar, was it stupid? yes did it make sense? no but would it save us in the long run? yes. so there we are and we start bidding until jj decides to yell out something close to 150,000. i turn to pope and nod my head as i grab jjs arm and drag him away from the others 

-SWITCHS TO 3RD PERSON POV-

"what, canyon let me go. im getting us my house" he says and she shook her head with a sigh. she grabbed his shoulders and turned him to her with a smile

"jj i get it, trust me but you have to let them figure this out alright? we can't just go spending the money" she stated and he sighed 

"its my house sunny" he said and she nodded 

"i know j but lets just think about this for a second. we go spend all of that money, obviously we're gonna need a new boat, things to build the house, this business we have going we're need to do something with that. we can't just go spending all of it" canyon exclaimed and he nodded as they heard their section of the auction wrap up and they walked over to hear that in that short amount of time, they got the house for 200,000 which wasn't the best but they still had 800,000 left in their bank. soon enough they got back to the house and they walked up to it, jj held his hand out for canyon and she smiled as she walked up and grabbed his hand 

"welcome to poguelandia 2.0" she said and they ripped the caution tape off of the door as they walked in and started to work on it. in the meantime, cleo, sarah and pope went and got supplies for the shop as kiara and canyon worked on the house with john b and jj went to get their new boat. they got all the supplies they needed and they got to work on the house. they built it out and then they worked on the doc. after about five days, it was all done and they all stood and looked at the house as jj started to do a dance on the dock and he turned to canyon 

"SUNSHINE, DANCE WITH ME" he called to her and she kissed pope on the cheek as she ran down and started to dance with jj. he spun her around and they laughed as they danced together. the others stared at the duo and smiled at them with a shake of their head. they danced for five minutes until they went up to the others and started to get the place together. soon they had customers and it was all going so well until there was a storm and the fuzebox broke as they had to get it fixed and that took a good chunk of their money. they still had 500,000 left in the bank and they still has a chunk of gold but it wasn't there for too long because that stupid bike-riding tournament was coming up and jj had decided to enter and bet on himself. 

canyon wasn't there for any of it as she went home and told her parents everything, they were shocked at all of it and they held her as they smiled and sighed. she had come home right when they got back but she hadn't told them much. canyon was home with them and she was happy, after she bonded with them, she walked out into the field and she sat down as stardust and flower cuddled into her and she laughed as she hugged them and sighed. 

soon she heard the twinkie pull up and she lifted her head as she saw the group get out of the car and walk over to her in the field. they jumped over the fence that they had installed for stardust and flower. they told her what happened and then told her the next option was that groff guy and blackbeard. she didn't like it but she agreed so she got in the twinkie with the others and they left and went back to the maybank property where they got on their boat and they headed to the groff property. 

canyon looked around the place and they got off the boat as they walked onto the land and followed after the groundskeeper. they got to the door and knocked on it.

there he was, a man opened it and canyon looked at the others with a sigh as he stared at the man and she looked at pope

"i don't like the feeling of this pope " she told her boyfriend and pope nodded in agreement and grabbed her hand as they looked at the man who looked at them and canyon knew one thing

she didn't like this guy or whatever the hell his plan was.
