Inko sat me down and went to make some tea, while I watched the children.

The little girls were playing with little dolls, while the boys were playing sword fights with little wooden toy swords.

I watched them as they played and thought they looked adorable. Even though they were holding the swords wrong and were not doing anything right.

"Sorry for making you wait," Inko said sweetly as she placed the teapot on the table and began pouring two cups of tea. "Now, where shall I start?"

"At the beginning," I told her as I sipped my tea.

"Okay. Well, when we were young and were all in Japan, you and the rest of us became a big group of friends! And you and Shinya became sweethearts!"

I spat out my tea and started choking.

"We were what?"

"You were so cute together!"

"So it was true. We did know each other from a long time ago."

"Shall I continue?"

"No. It's fine. I just needed that confirmed."

"What confirmed, hun?"

"That Shinya really did know me. I was just making sure it was true."

As I walked back home I wondered why I had forgotten all of that.

I don't remember any of them.

I wonder if that was why Shota was so nice to me.

I decided to just lie in bed and go to sleep for a bit. The ball was coming soon. I need to get a dress.

Ryuko sat comfortably in her chair, reading a very interesting book.

She was just getting to the good part when Shinya had come home from work.

"Where's my beautiful dragon queen?" He called out to her.

She didn't answer though, she was too absorbed into her book.

Shinya walked in and found her.

"Hey! How are you?" He asked. But she didn't answer. "Ryuko?" He kneeled in front of her, but she didn't take any notice of him.

He then gently took up her hand and kissed it.

"Ryuuu~" She didn't even flinch.

"Fine." He sat on the arm of the chair and stared at her closely.

Then he kissed her cheek. "Ryuuuu~ I'm home!" He said in her ear.

This time she glanced at him before returning her attention to her book.

".... Alright then. Let's do this the hard way." He then tackled her and started tickling her, to which she held her breath before bursting into laughter.

"STOP! SHINYA! HAHAHA STOOOOP HAHAHAHA!!!" he kept tickling her but eventually, he stopped and they just lay there and stared at each other for a few minutes.

He gave her a quick peck on the lips before getting up and seizing the book.

"Now, what are you reading that was soooo interesting you had to ignore me?" He said as he opened the book and read the page he landed on.

"Nothing, give it."

He stood on the chair and held it up reading it.

"That's cheating!"

"No, it isn't my queen."

Ryuko wanted her book back so she grabbed him by his neck and pulled him down and kissed him while snatching the book.

"Oh come on!" 

They continued their little game for a while until they both got tired and decided to settle down and watch a movie whilst cuddling.

"You know," Ryuko said halfway through the movie. "The book was better.

"No. No more books."

Okay! So I haven't been doing well with this book have I? I actually intended to make it 5 chapters long, so that's why it's taking a while, I am trying to stretch it. 

I'll try to do better next week!
