"You're a good for nothing dog"

A sharp stinging spread through her cheek as the sound of skin hitting skin echoed through the room.

The others outside the door cringing at the sound.

The girl still with fear and hatred. Kneeling on the ground in front of him.

"Get out!"

She hurriedly rushed to her feet and out the door. Only to find herself in the centre of a circle.

"Tsuki-"

She turned her head, directing herself to the front door. Tears threatening to fall. She couldn't let them see her cry, she couldn't let them see her weak.

Even if she was only 5 years old.

Her stuff was already packed and by the front door. All she needed to do was step foot outside and into the real, normal, world.

And with one step, she crawled through the bars of the cage and ran free, not aware of the troubles and problems ahead.

Years pass and she wanders. She wanders the streets of the city. Picking up bits and pieces of information. Here and there. She wanders the path of the forest, only to find herself wandering towards Shigure's home. As she steps inside of the home she is met with an unknown girl sitting confused on the floor, surrounded by a dog a cat and a rat. Soon laughter fills the room as she fell to the floor in fits of giggles.

"Shi-Shigure?!"

She sits Criss cross, and stares at them, still laughing just a bit.

"Tsuki! What're you doing here?!"

And soon after Shigure had spoken, they transformed back. The unknown girl squeaked and turned around as she tried her best not to look. Tsuki took her hat and brought it down to just above her eyes.

"Where's my shirt?"

Kyo asked as he looked around.

"Here"

Tsuki had forcefully thrown it at him. As he caught it, it lightly whipped him in the face.

"Thanks."

He says in a sarcastic tone.

"What are you doing here Tsuki?"

Shigure asked as he sat down at the table.

"I just thought I'd stop by for a visit. Didn't think you'd have so much company."

She looked around the room, her eyes landing on the brown haired girl.

"And who might you be?"

The brown haired girl looked her way, bowing slightly.

"I'm Tohru Honda, nice to meet you. Are you a member of the zodiac too?"

Tsuki nodded her head. A soft smile upon her lips.

"Yes. I'm Tsuki, or better known as the lone wolf."

Tohru tilted her head to the side slightly.

"Lone wolf?"

"Uh huh, I'm the wolf. No one knows the wolf except for those of the Soma family. I'm Shigure's sister, part of the canine family I guess."

Tohru nodded her head.

"What's your story then?"

Tsuki breathed out a sigh as memories came flooding back.

"Well you know the story about the cat"

Tohru nodded.

"I'm like that, except I was never told about the party. The wolf just stayed in the home, awaiting her brother's return. The wolf had seen the cat wandering aimlessly, the cat and the wolf spent the night together, causing them to bond and become friends. But that's not what the story's about."

Tsuki turned around and looked up at the mountains outside the door.

"After everyone came back, the wolf knew what had happened and left for the mountains where she secured herself in a place, alone and sad."

Tohru had a look of sympathy on her face.

"No one cared that the wolf wasn't around, she was a burden....A spare"

Shigure stood up fists tightly clenched.

"You know your not a spare! You mean so much to me and everyone else! Why won't you believe that?"

She turned around, her dull eyes staring into his.

"Tell me something brother."

Stood up and slowly walked over to the tall man.

"If they cared so much, why didn't they come looking for me?"

He was silent.
