Oscar's POV:

Do you ever feel like....you don't belong in the world you live in? Like you don't fit in with anyone else and feel out of place?

Well, that's how my life was over the years, that feeling still lingers even now, This Is my story.

I was enjoying the comfort of my bed, asleep, waiting for my alarm on my phone to go off so i could get to work, well, i say work, it's normally a bit of a hell-hole. Though it didn't help that some people whilst i was walking home with a happymeal were starting to cause trouble.

Of course, it was with some kid and i had to step in, ending up with a punch to the face and a cut on the cheek, lucky enough the kid was alright, despite a few bruises, and those idiots left to go and drink their lives away. I barely remember the rest since i was exhausted, but i took the kid home and went home myself. I'm 22 years old, though since i'm short people mistake for me looking 16, don't blame me, i just didn't drink milk while growing up unless it was with cereal.

Buuut that was a few hours ago.

I woke up to the sound of my phone buzzing, 4AM.

"Hmm........what the hell?...." i mutter, my throat slightly sore and my right eye was still swollen.

I checked the caller ID...Ryan, "ugghhhh what does he want now!?" I pressed answer and well i answered it "what is it now Ryan?" I asked in annoyance. "did you see the new Wight video yet?" he asked. I just deadpanned "What video ryan? It's 4AM! I have work tomorrow" i say, grabbing my hoodie that hung off of my bedside next...to a picture of my brother, Orion. 

Orion went missing when i was 7, our parents desperately tried to find him over the years but, nothing. Though, it took a turn for the worse, one thing lead to another, our dad started drinking, but he got abusive as well, it lead to him and our mom divorcing and i went with her. 

Though, it didn't prevent dad from passing away, it was due to alchohol poisoning so...it hurt when i heard what happened.

I still have the keychain on my phone from when  he'd given it to me when i was 12 for my birthday with my phone, The only good thing he'd ever given me. My mom on the other hand, she'd always went to work trying to keep up with the payments and other things. But she got sick...and right now she's hanging on by a thread in the hospital...i visit alot and make sure she takes what she needs and eats what she can.

"The new wight video, c'mon dude! It's got that weird guy Z.I on it!" He says excitedly,snapping my out of my thoughts "seriously you woke me up for that?" i stated bluntly "Aww c'mon what's wrong with that Oz?"

'Oz' was a nickname i had in highschool for 5 years,i was in 11th grade at the time, Ryan back then was in 10th grade back then at the age of 13, he's 18 now but he's so tall you'd mistake him for a 23 year old, He 5ft22 and i'm a measly 4ft9 in height 

 "Ryan i have work today at 8am, that's in 4 hours! And besides! I haven't even finished episode 5 of candilander's yet" I complained to him "aww c'moon!!! Pleaasse just watch it?" He begged and i just laughed, getting an ice pack for my eye holding it against it "fine i'll watch it" i got the video up on a tablet i had in the draws and when i turn it on it opens to candilanderz episode 5.

Now i won't bother explaining what happened next but in a nutshell, Me and Ryan were talking about Roleplaying candilanderz on wattpad when the screens glitched,then me and ryan got teleported into a random ally way, i fell on top of a few garbage bags.

Groaning i sat up holding my head and picking up my phone from the ground, it had turned off and the screen was a bit cracked in the corner. "Where....the heck are we?" I asked to myself, but i couldn't think for long because, someone came walking over. I tensed up and picked up the nearest thing closest to me, which was a metal pole, i pointed it at the person "B-Back off! I'm not afraid to hit you with this!" I yelled but the figure just laughed "Heyy! Calm down Oz, it's me, Ryan!"

The street light turned on and i saw Ryan, but he looked different. His eyes were yellow with a caramel brown colour, and his skin was slightly more tanned than before and he wore his usual headphones around his neck.

 "R-Ryan!? what happened to you?!" I asked as he helped me up, i untied my hoodie and i put it on to keep the cold out "i should be asking you the same thing, you're looking a bit blue yourself" i held my phone up and saw my reflection, i was a pale blue colour in skin tone and my hair had become a double shade of blue "oh no...ryan you know what this means don't you?" i asked him.

"Yup, we're our freaking characters we role play as for candilanderz" i facepalm and just pull my hood over my head "yeahh...you're a salted caramel demon and i'm a bubblegum whisp" I say softly, trying to wrap my head around everything going on

"hey, you two alright there?" We turned and there stood Kale, i froze in my spot "yeah we're fine...uh we're new to the town soo, mind helping us out?" Ryan spoke up and dragged me over to him, and i see marnie and Avalee walk inside, i look up and saw that we'd landed in the allyway beside the heartbox! "sure,c'mon, i don't want my friends to get worried" he said bluntly.

We walked into the heart box and caught up with the one And only Avalee Day and marnie. I stayed quiet until kale spoke over marnie's hardcore fangirling "and on that note, i'm getting something to eat" and he walked off, i followed him "w-wait up!"

 "Kale wait!! The food isn't....included" i heard avalee try to explain. Ryan followed us too and we just sit at the bar on the other side of kale. I sigh and bury my face in my arms and groan "how did this day become absolute shit?..." i asked. I felt ryan pat my back "c'mon Oz! Besides we're in the heartbox, this is awesome!"

Fun fact about ryan, He loves drinking, especially with his buddies, he was basically a double of Devon.

"You ok dude? You look like you're done with life" i just stared at ryan annoyed since he got a drink himself, "It's awesome for you cause you get to drink, while i don't and i have enough stuff on my plate as it is ryan!" i exclaimed, getting stressed out. Kale was talking with, speaking of the devil, Devon brandt from SCR and i mentioned devon saying he'd pay for the food. "Oscar, calm down, everything'll be alright" ryan spoke, trying to help me calm down, but it wasn't working 

"Ryan, My mom's in the freaking hospital and we ended up in another fucking world we don't know crap about, we don't know where to live and the only stuff i have is my bag and phone, I'm supposed to go to work in a few hours, not to mention trying to find my brother who went missing years ago, DON'T TELL ME TO CALM DOWN!" I yelled, i started to feel tears fall down my face. I saw devon, ivan and kale stare at me shocked, so i just kept my head down and stayed quiet, god i felt embaressed after that.

I felt someone move my hood back and i looked up at the others, tears falling down my face. All i wanted to do was go home and not deal with all of this.

I noticed a drink in front of me and i looked over at Ivan, who was working the bar "it's on the house you look like you need it, and i'll get an ice pack for that eye" 

I wipe my eyes and smile weakly "thank you...really..it's just been hard to deal with the hellhole i call my life..me And ryan aren't even from around here and look where it's brought us...i'm Oscar Azouli, this is Ryan Saratos" 

It was fun for the most part, i sat at the bar and just talked with ivan while ryan went back to avalee with devon and kale, i felt alot better by then after a drink  or two of coka cola...but i felt something was wrong, it was a nagging feeling that something bad was gonna happen....

It couldn't get worse though, could it?
