Iwaizumi had so much he wanted to do with Oikawa. He wanted to go on picnics with him, travel the world with him, make sweet love to him, but now it was too late; far too late for him.

He stared down at the grave, a bouquet of the same roses that Iwaizumi first gave Oikawa lay there and Iwaizumi smiled weakly. He bends down and touches the headstone, reading over the words again and again, like he just couldn't believe, couldn't accept Oikawa was dead. His heart clenched tightly and he let out a small muffled sob as the tears stream down his face.

He took a deep breath and forces out, "Oikawa Tooru, I loved, no, I love you. You are the most precious thing to have walked this earth and please remember that you'll never be forgotten." Iwiauzmi stands, his hands in his pockets and continues, "Your battle was an unfair one and there won't be a day that goes past when I won't blame myself for not finding the cure for you. I was meant to protect you and keep you away from these harms but instead all I could do is sit and watch you suffer. Tooru, I hope you can find it in that big, sweet heart of yours to one day forgive me and maybe in another life, I'll be able to grow old with you and that wondrous smile of yours. " He bent down to kiss Oikawa's carved name in the stone and walked away.

As he walked down to the gates of the entrance, he feltbthe wind wisp through his hair like smooth finger tips and he could have sworn he heard a whisper say, "I forgive you, Hajime."

Hajime smiled at that and opened the gates to be greeted by the beautiful green trees of summer and the immense smells of the flowers. He bent down and picked a lily before twirling it in his finger tips.

Iwiauzmi Hajime will never get over Tooru but maybe with some help, he'll be able to continue on with his life.
