"Phil, I am going to book you an appointment with the doctor"

It was a couple of hours after Phil had told Dan that he has depression, Phil was still lying in Dans arms, his face stained with tears.

"Why?" Phil asked back, in a whiny voice. The type of voice you would expect from a toddler who asks why to everything.
"Because there's something wrong and if you're telling me that you think you have depression then we need need to get it sorted and you need help."
"I'm so glad you care so much"
"I don't care what it takes, you're getting better"
"I love you, Dan"
"I love you, too, Phil"

They sat in silence for a few minutes, neither of them knew what to say. Finally, Phil broker he silence
"Dan?"
"Yes, babe?"
"I'm sorry"
"What for? You haven't done anything wrong."
"I'm just a hassle and I get in the way of all of your plans and everything. I understand if you want to leave me"

Dans eyes filled with tears.
"Do you really think I'd do that?"
"No, because you're a great person. But, if you did want to leave, I wouldn't question why."
"I'm not going anywhere, because I love you"

With that, Dan and Phil lied down on the couch.

"I'll make you an appointment first thing in the morning, because it's late now so they won't be open"
"Thank you, so much. Will you come to the appointment with me?"
"Of course I will."

Phil kissed Dan and they turned over and went to sleep. They had both had a tiring and stressful day and they needed to rest now.
