jeongguk noticed how taehyung wasn't smiling as he stood with his friends. something wasn't right and he couldn't just stand at this food stall and stuff snacks in his mouth when the other was struggling.

he finished the food in his mouth and started walking towards them while wiping the corner of his lips.

he didn't say anything, just when he reached there, he wrapped his arms around the brunette's waist and tightly back hugged him surprising the other's.

good that taehyung's back pack wasn't on his shoulders and was now resting on the floor.

taehyung's friends widened their eyes seeing 'the jeon jeongguk' hugging and kissing kim taehyung's cheeks.

taehyung himself got stunned at the sudden action;; anyways smiled widely and rubbed the other's right cheek when he placed his chin on his shoulder.

"jeon jeongguk is your boyfriend?" jimin asked and taehyung bit his bottom lip not knowing what to answer. they still weren't boyfriend.

"babe, let's go meet my friends." jeongguk saw how taehyung's body tensed up at the question and to avoid it, he just tilted the younger's face and pressed their lips together.

"of course, he is, jimin." suha, one of them assured with a smile and jimin nodded.

"you got the jackpot, taehyungie." suha laughed while taehyung just smiled softly.

"let's go, babe." jeongguk pulled taehyung who bent down to get his backpack before they started walking to somewhere else.

"a lot of things changed jeongguk and they all feel like strangers." taehyung said with a sigh as they walked to the food corner. it was so crowded as if people came here only for the food.

"where are your friends?" taehyung asked and jeongguk pointed at some boys standing with plates in their hands, some girls roaming around them but none of them seemed interested.

"you all here for the party or just for eating?" the pretty boy asked, giggling cutely that didn't cease to make the other's heart flutter.

"the party is boring. the food is the only interesting thing." jeongguk replied and intertwined their fingers as they finally reached his friends.

"guys, as i already told you, this is kim taehyung." jeongguk grabbed his friends' attention and they all smiled at the brunette, some greeted with a mouthful of food, one of them waved and one just went for a high five which taehyung was quick to give.

"so you are kim taehyung, jeongguk is talking about you 24/7. why wouldn't he? you are actually very pretty." jaehyun informed making the other smile.

"this is namjoonie, jaehyun, jackson, dohyun, lucas, rosé, irene and seulgi." jeongguk introduced all his friends one by one and taehyung smiled widely at them.

the other girls who were trying to talk to this popular boys and girls just understood that they should leave them alone and so they did.

no one asked about the oxygen tubes, about the oxygen tank and that kinda made taehyung feel comfortable. they didn't make him feel differently.

the party was nice. at least taehyung liked it. he loved jeongguk's friends who talked to him without making him feel that he was totally new to all these. they told him about jeongguk's habits, asked him how they met and all.

though jeongguk wanted to dance with taehyung but couldn't when taehyung felt worn out after standing for so long. the younger wanted to dance too but the dance time was over when he again felt good.

right now, they were walking back to jeongguk's car and taehyung kind of felt bad.

he stopped jeongguk when he was about to open the door for him causing him to turn around only to see him hanging his head low.

"what happened, gorgeous?"

taehyung slowly looked up at the other and bit his bottom lip, sucking in a sharp breath, "i am so sorry."

"for what babe?" the raven head cupped taehyung's cheeks pulling his face up only to let their eyes meet.

"we couldn't dance. i swear, i wanted it too, but i felt too tired."

jeongguk just shook his head no and rested their foreheads against each other's, "babe, it's totally fine. that dance isn't more important than you."

"but you wanted to—"

taehyung was cut off by the other, "just shh baby. forget it."

"now that you gloss is gone, we can kiss. so can i kiss you?" jeongguk asked wrapping his arms around the other's petit waist.

"yes, please." taehyung giggled and crossed his arms around jeongguk's neck pulling him close.

their lips met instantly and the younger's hand reached up to grab jeongguk's smooth hair locks as they kiss.

they shared a pretty long and passionate kiss. it was supposed to be longer but when he heard someone shout, "bro!", they pulled away.

the both boys saw it was rosé who shouted as she was getting into the car.

jeongguk showed his middle finger at her before again pulling the other closer for another kiss.

after their little make out session in the public, they were finally driving back home.

to taehyung's home.

jeongguk had only one thought in this mind. how would he ask the brunette out. he stole a glance at the other who was staring out of the window, his face gleaming due to the city lights.

he looked ethereal from any fucking angle and jeongguk can't look away but he had to focus on the road.

after a roughly half an hour drive, jeongguk pulled the car off in front of the younger's house.

"thank you for this amazing time, jeon jeongguk." taehyung said once the other opened the door for him.

"no, thank you for coming with me." jeongguk quickly hugged the other.

"goodnight then." the pretty boy kissed jeongguk's cheeks and smiled before walking ahead.

jeongguk was getting so impatient and also was so nervous but he knows if he doesn't say it tonight, he probably can never until taehyung approaches.

"tae—" jeongguk was quick to call stopping him in the middle.

taehyung turned around and smiled asking, "what?" while jeongguk gulped and took steps towards the other.

taehyung patiently waited for jeongguk to say something as all he did was stare at him.

"everyone thinks that we are a thing. that you are my boyfriend and i— wanna turn this to reality, kim taehyung."

taehyung was about to say something but didn't when jeongguk knelt down and took his hand in his.

"kim taehyung, will you be my boyfriend?"
