the next day:

today was the day when anika and gauri's names would be written in the oberoi book declaring them as officially the oberoi bahus. 

as everyone was waiting downstairs for anika and gauri to come, om was silently wondering whether gauri figured out a way to prevent her name from being written into the book.

just then anika and gauri came down, looking like beautiful goddesses. 

anika:

as they slowly came down the stairs, gauri started to see double no no triple of everything and her vision was slowly becoming blurred. just then it became a little clear as she walked and stood next to om.

dadi: and here are our angels.

she did their aarti and then om and shivay's aarti. as she did shivom's aarti, gauri started to cough quite violently, her vision was becoming blurred again and her head felt quite heavy.

dadi: gauri, are you ok?

gauri tired to say something but she couldn't as of her cough. jhanvi got same water and gave it to gauri who only managed to drink a little, she stopped coughing only to see om actually concerned for her.

om: gauri, what happened?

gauri: nothing.

jhanvi looked at gauri's arms only to find red marks on them.#

jhanvi: gauri! what happened to your arms?

gauri: nothing maaji. i just got a little bit injured.

jhanvi nodded unconvinced.

soon it was time for the bahus to write their name in the book. as anika was writing her name, om grabbed gauri's wrist  tightly and twisted it but gauri was unable to scream.

om whispering: you are so desperate for money that you didn't run away from here.

gauri whispering: omkaraji, you are hurting me.

om whispering: and that's what you deserve, hurt!

dadi: gauri, now your turn.

om letted go of her wrist and gauri was given the pen. her hands were trembling and soon her body was. her vision was now fully blurred and all she could see was tiny black spots everywhere. her head was as heavy as hell. she heard voices all over the place even though the room was silent. she grabbed her hand and she allowed the pen drop from her hand as she fell to the ground, her eyes were jammed shut.

'gauri!' was heard from everyone's mouth as they rushed to her. om kept gauri 's head on her lap, trying to wake her up along with everyone else. anika got water and sprinkled some on gauri but there was no sign of reaction from gauri.

om in mind: did she actually take poison? gauri, i didn't mean it for you to die.

dadi: quickly got the doctor billu!

shivay nods as he gets his phone out.

shivay: hello doctor, quickly come! thank you!

om lifted gauri up in bridal style and took her to the room downstairs. then doctor came and asked everyone to stay outside the room as she checked her.

as they waited:

(male saathiya plays in the background)

he was thinking of the times he yelled at her. he remembered all the times he hurted her. he walked to the book and picked the pen up. his hands were trembling as he wrote gauri's name in there.

om: dadi, gauri's name is in the book.

dadi: matlab?

om: i wrote it in.

jhanvi felt glad and in her mind, she thought: bhagwan, if this is a sign of om accepting gauri into his life then i will forever be grateful.

the doctor came out and said: she is awake now but i feel like you should get her checked at hospital.

om: why?

doctor: the reason why she fainted is unknown. she is definitely not pregnant and this is not because of stress. if you get her checked at hospital then they will give the reason why she fainted.

all nod as shakti escorted the doctor to the exit.

dadi: billu, om, you two will take gauri to hospital tomorrow.

om: why me dadi? shivay can go with her.

dadi: you are her husband. you should go along with billu.

om nods unwillingly.
