Ch 1

Two months later -

I woke up and laid there a minute before getting out of bed. I still couldn't believe he left me there when I told him I was carrying his child. Then he just never talks to me again. I shook my head to stop thinking about it when my mom walked in.

"Here sweetie, I made your skinny jeans into maternity pants. You're barely showing, so people may not even notice."

"Thanks mom."

"Your welcome. Have you told your friends yet? After all it's been five months, it might upset them if you don't."

"Well, Jasmine knows because I went to her house to take the test, but she doesn't go to my school. I don't think I want them to know," she nodded her head and left me to get ready.

I got into my blue skinny jeans, black high top sneakers, and red shirt with a cross necklace. I went into my bathroom and got out my makeup. I put on light pink lipstick, light pink blush, and gray eyeshadow. I put my makeup away and went into my room and grabbed my green backpack and binder.

I walked out of my room and downstairs to the kitchen. I sat down at the table as my mom set my food down in front of me.

"Thanks mom."

"Your welcome baby."

I ate my food quickly then put my plate in the sink. I was walking towards the door when my dad came downstairs. My dad still wasn't happy about the whole situation but he was dealing with it. I looked at him and waved then opened the door and left.

I was walking to school when I heard a car honk from behind me. I turned around and Ryan and his friends started yelling at me.

"Hey cheating whore! What's it like fucking some other guy getting pregnant, and then being ditched by him!" They hollered.

Their words hurt but I didn't let that get to me. Didn't they know that Ryan was the one who got me this way? Then I remembered, he said no one would know about it. He must have told them some lie to keep suspicious off of him.

I was hurt, frustrated, and sad, I just wanted to cry. Two months after telling Ryan he decides to tell everyone else, and then lie about it.

When I get to school everyone just stares at me like I'm a freak. I see my friends walking towards me with downturned lips and anger in their eyes.

"So you're pregnant."

"Yeah." I answer shyly.

"Wow, when were you planning on telling us, when the baby was due?"

"No."

"Wow, what a friend you are Angel," and they walked away.

I started to class when I heard someone say, "Wow guess Angel isn't an angel after all," and snicker.

I sat in the back of class. I was writing down notes when I got passed a piece of paper. I felt my eyes fill when I read what the paper said.

Who's the whore in school? Angel Tomsin! Guess angel isn't an angel after all! Maybe she should've been named Cheater instead.

I balled the paper up as the water spilled down my face, I grabbed my stuff and ran out of class. I'd enough of this treacherous day. I heard the teacher calling me back but I just kept going.

We didn't have gates around our school so I easily walked off school grounds. Not knowing where to go, and not wanting to go home to my mother I just kept walking. I stopped when I got tired, I didn't know where I was.

I wiped my eyes and looked around and I was in a forest. Being here reminded me of a story, every story I have ever read always seems to have a forest in it. It usually has a girl being sad and going there, or someone getting kidnapped and being dragged there.

I was surrounded by tall trees and so many leaves. I know I sound like a dumb blonde, but I have never been in a forest so it was all kinda new to me. I was startled by my phone when it started to ring. It was one of my friends from school, Jenny.

"Angel where are you?"

"Why do you care? It's like you and the other girls said, what kinda friend am I?"

"We didn't mean it like that we were just angry because you didn't tell us."

"No, I think you did, so just drop the fucking act and leave me alone." I hung up the phone and wept.
