Chapter 3

"Please don't be with Kachan, Please don't be with Kachan."

"Who's Kachene or whoever?"

"Kachan was my childhood 'fRiEnD', but he became really mean when he got his quirk and started to bully me."

"Then why bother with him?"

"He's....hard to miss. Oh! You've already met him!"

"Is he the one who looks like an angry pomeranian?"

"Yes, but never say that to him!"

Izuku and Shoto pushed open the door to class 1-A.

"Noted."

Kachan was sitting on a desk while a boy with blue hair and glasses yelled at him. He threw an explosion at the boy with glasses and laughed.

"I'm going to try to avoid him at all costs"

"Good thinking"

Shoto tried to sneak behind the commotion to hide in the back. He almost got there, but ran into someone he didn't see. Litteratly. The girl was invisible, so he looked right over (or through, he couldn't tell which) her head. "Oof!" the girl exclaimed.

"Sorry!"

"That's ok! It happens. A LOT."

He assumed the girl was smiling, but he couldn't tell. "I'm Toru Hagakure."

"This is Mina Ashido," Toru said as she gestured to a girl with pink skin and hair. "Momo Yaoyorozu," a girl with black hair pulled back in a high ponytail. "And Mashirao Ojiro" a boy with blond hair and a tail.

"I'm Shoto Todoroki"

"Nice to meet you!"

"Um, if you don't mind me asking," Ojiro started "Why are you writing in a book?"

"I'm mute"

"Oh, sorry if it felt like I was intruding."

"Oh no, it's fine"

A slightly awkward silence fell over them. Then, "Duck!" Momo suddenly exclaimed as an explosion sailed over their heads and crashed into the wall. "What the heck?"

"Sry not sry" Kacchan laughed. Shoto looked at the kid again. "I have to share class with a mute extra? ugh!"

Shoto looked at the boy and started to finger spell.

"S T F U"

Izuku let out a little noise, then smiled.

"You understood him, Deku?" Kachan turned his glare to the green haired boy, who smiled nervously.

"Well, he did give me a sheet of the sign language alphabet-"

"Never mind, I don't want to hear it!"

An awkward silence falls over the class. It was broken by Purple Hair walking through the door.

"Um....hi....?"

Shoto waved to him. Purple hair saw this and nodded. He looked at the seating chart on the wall and walked to his seat.

"Hey, does anyone know where our teacher is?" Momo looked at everyone. Most people shrugged. Shoto shook his head.

"That's actually a very good question. Where is our teacher?" asked a boy with spiky red hair and shark teeth.

"AHHH! IT'S A GIANT YELLOW WORM!" a guy who looked like the imposter of Pikachu yelled. Most everyone went to go see this "Giant Yellow Worm" in the hallway. Shoto sat down. He was interested. Really he was, he just knew that it probably wasn't important.  

(And that was your mistake Todoroki, and that was your mistake)
