Pregnant Connor up top!!

Connor POV 

I opened my eyes and the first thing I saw was my belly and noticed it is definitely not small as it was so something had to have happened with the ritual because the last thing I remember is drinking the blood. I also noticed my skin is slightly glowing. I wasn't in the clinic or hooked up to any machines. I look to my right and see my three beautiful mates all crying, standing still as possible like they are afraid to move.

"Are you all alright?" I asked, a little worried as to why they weren't moving. Eric was the first to move and he waddled as fast as he could to my bed and that's when I noticed his belly was triple in size than before. 

He wrapped his arms around me and sobbed into my neck, holding me tightly.

"Three weeks, almost four, we had to wonder and worry about you. After the ritual was finished you fainted and fell into a coma. We didn't know why and I had been trying everything I could to find a way to wake you. Something went wrong with the ritual but the most important thing is my love, you are healthy. It worked. You and our daughter are fine." Skylar said as he and Sam sat on the bed on either side of me. 

"Daughter? We're having a girl?" I asked and he nodded with tears falling from his beautiful eyes.

"Yes, and another daughter and a son Eric is carrying. All of you are fine, healthy and safe." Sam answered as he took my hand and kissed it gently.

"I'm happy it worked and were all ok but darlin', you look like you hadn't slept in weeks." Skylar had big bags under his eyes, his muscles were a little smaller and he lost some of his color.

"That's because he hasn't." Eric simply says glaring at Skylar. 

"Why not?" I asked my darlin', Skylar. 

"Are you really asking me why? I was trying to save you, my love. Now that you're awake and healthy, I'll be just fine." 

"If you look like that because of worrying about me, I'm sorry. You may be an Alpha Prince but you aren't invincible no matter how many powers you have. You still need to rest and take care of yourself." I said and again, Eric glared at Skylar.

"What is up with you and glaring at him?" I asked Eric looking down into his eyes as he was still laying on my chest.

"Why don't you ask him and Sam?" 

"What are you talking about, what did we do?" Skylar asked, sounding a little offended. 

"Nothing, don't worry about it." He snapped and we all raised our eyebrows at him. 

"If he needed rest as you say then he shouldn't have been fucking Sam for hours!" 

"I love you Eric but your attitude towards me since I changed has got to stop. I don't know what is wrong with you but I won't be on the receiving end of your harsh words and looks anymore, these past few weeks are enough. My love, I'm happy you're ok and awake, but I need to get out of here for a bit. Mindlink me for anything you need, alright? I love you three." Skylar walked out and Sam shook his head in disappointment and sighed. 

"I have noticed that too Eric, what did he do that was so wrong? He did what he needed to save Connor. Yes, we did mate for hours but he also did try to spend time alone with you, to take you out to spend time together alone and I'm sure to mate but you wouldn't give him the time of day. He has three mates, Eric, he is only one person so he has to divide his time between us, nothing we can do to change that unless he or we rejects another. I understand you're pregnant but you cross the line a lot lately with him and he doesn't deserve it." Sam said and Eric looked pissed off.

"He almost killed Connor and the baby, like he didn't fucking care! That damned ritual caused Connor to go into a coma for almost a month and if it weren't for the other god and goddess, Connor would still be in that coma, not knowing when he would wake up!" Eric exploded on Sam. 

"He cared and cares Eric! He spent most of his time trying to find a way to save Connor! Are you that fucking self-centered that you don't see that?! He would do anything for the people he loves, you should know that by now. Also, he is still adjusting to his new life. He met his birth family, found out he's a wolf, an Alpha Prince at that, found out he has powers, has used those powers and the first time he does, he caused his mate harm, whether he meant to or not. That is a lot for him to handle Eric so you should be more understanding and not so mean toward your mate." 

"Not my true mate." Eric spits out causing the room to go still with his bitter tone.

"I can't talk to you right now." Sam got off the bed and kissed me, whispering in my ear that he'll be back and left. 

"Eric…" 

"No, don't start Connor. I can't help how I feel. He was in such a rush to cure you that he ended up hurting you without knowing all the risks. Do you understand that you could have died if the prayer didn't work? You would still be sleeping right now, with no answers to the question of you waking up. He had time, the baby isn't due for another couple months so he could, should have waited but he didn't." 

"I wanted to do it also so if you are mad at him, be mad at me as well. I love you baby but you need to make this right between you two." I kissed his forehead and he sighed, holding onto me like I'm going to disappear. 

"So, what exactly happened? What kind of prayer was able to wake me? Why was I glowing a little when I first woke up?" 

"No one knows but Skylar, his parents, and the goddesses. They researched the prayer that woke you up so you have to ask one of them what happened. It wasn't just you but your entire family." Eric said rubbing his face, sounding stressed. 

"I'm getting tired so I'm going to take a nap I love you sweetheart." I yawned out and kissed him as he left. 

The next morning I felt brand new, I felt stronger and more aware, even my wolf had a strong aura. I really have to ask someone about that. I was so lost in my thoughts when uncle Jaylen came to check my vitals. 

"This is unbelievable, Connor, your vitals are better than they've ever been. Not to mention your blood tests are normal, your immune system is uncompromised, it's like you were never sick." He said enthusiastically. 

"All I really wanted was for my baby to be born healthy, yes I hated being sick but with her, I didn't want her to grow up like I had. It's such a relief to learn that we're both healthy. Does daddy know?" 

"Yes, I told him when I tested your blood after the ritual. I saw something in his eyes I hadn't seen in so long for you, hope. He cried happy tears and spent the night holding you as you slept. It was so touching to see." He smiled and kissed my head and I sat up and hugged him.

"We're all so relieved your ok Con, after everything, it's so much easier to breathe now." He said and pulled back to look down at me. 

"I know, it's amazing it worked, even with the risks, I wouldn't change a thing, well except how Eric feels. He blames Skylar for everything wrong that happened and I don't know how to fix it. You should have heard what he said about Skylar not being his true mate, that stung. I don't know if Skylar heard but if he did, I wouldn't want to be him right now. He loves Eric, so much. It's not even a destined mate bond they have, they formed their own so that is really special and for Eric to say that, it hurt." 

"I'm sure things will work out for the best Connor. Just give them the time to work it out. Now since you are healthy, how about we get you out of here and go celebrate?" 

"Sounds good to me, but first, I need to talk to daddy and meet my little brother after I talk to him. The celebration can wait a bit." 

"Ok, I'll get you out of here then. This is one discharge I am happy to rush." He smiled and kissed my cheek and left.

"Hey, son." I heard daddy's voice and I turned my head and he had the biggest smile on his face I had ever seen and happy tears in his bright green eyes.

"Hey, daddy." I said and he engulfed me in a tight hug, me squeezing back just as tight. I sure did miss his scent and warmth being in his arms.

"God I love you pup, I was so scared and worried I was going to lose you. I even went as far as to threaten Skylar that if he did another ritual, I'd banish him but I wouldn't. I was just so scared another one would kill you if anything went wrong and then we were told of a prayer and candles, I didn't trust it so I told them to heal Sam from something that was wrong with him and they performed it and when they were finished, Ryleigh confirmed it by seeing his future so I allowed them to perform it on you. I'm so glad I did because you are awake now, and healthy. Just like I had always wished and wanted for you." 

"I love you too daddy and dad told me to tell you he loves you and is happy you have papa, I was with him these past few weeks, it was incredible and I think that is one reason I wouldn't wake up, I didn't want to leave him but, I had to. He's happy where he is though daddy." 

"I'm happy you got to spend time with him, even if it was in another realm. I'm happy your back though, I missed you." 

"I would say I missed you too but I wasn't aware of my condition but still. What do you mean something was wrong with Sam? Was he sick?" I asked worried about one of my mates. 

"I can't say, I was sworn to secrecy and I can't break that Connor, an Alpha's word is an Alpha's word, especially in our family. He will tell you in time, I promise." At that moment uncle Jaylen walked back in and I signed my discharge papers and walked out of the clinic with dad and him and we went to the suite where everyone in the family was there along with Skylar's family.

It felt great that I no longer had to worry about taking medication or passing on my...illness.  I definitely felt more alive and less lethargic. I was looking for my mates until I was wisped away by the goddesses and I was pretty intimidated. I was always with someone when I was around them. I was led to the conference room and everyone from my family was there, I can’t remember the last time we were all together like this, I kind of liked seeing everyone under the same roof again. 

“Connor, you can have a seat with your father and Sawyer." Diana said guiding me as if I couldn’t see. I sat with them and we looked at the goddesses to explain.

“The reason you all are here is that we wanted to explain the glowing from last night, and Connor, the reason your mates aren’t here is to keep them safe from your mind and emotions and before you ask, the conference room has been enchanted from others outside of this room. 

“Why would we need to keep anyone safe and so, from who or what? Us?” I questioned. Is this how Skylar felt?

“The New Moon Pack was one of the first three packs created and because of this, you all have godlike abilities, you all have the basic elemental manipulation abilities as that’s a given with the werewolf species but you all have one ability. One of your ancestors broke a law and for that reason all future generations from that point no longer had magic, that is until last night. For example, Danny’s ability is Ferality, Danny has the ability to have his werewolf abilities even in human form and has even more enhanced senses than that of a normal werewolf, he can also control other alphas with his voice or mind if he practices enough, minus Skylar’s family. Jake, your power is the ability is animated shadow, it’s a variation of Skylar’s shadow camouflage but not as ‘cool’ you can essentially manipulate your shadow to carry out assassination missions without you leaving the pack. Then there’s Connor… your family may be jealous of this one but with your history, I think we can all agree you deserve it. You have the power of absolute light, you can create a field of absolute light that blinds the targets either temporarily or permanently and may also dull or even completely negate the other senses. The rest of you have abilities as well but it’s been a stressful couple of weeks so please enjoy your time adjusting to the newly restored gifts you all rightfully deserve. We will schedule the training of your abilities when Connor and his mate give birth. That is all for now.” And with that, we all leave digesting the new information.
