I got this idea from listening to this very song, (still currently listening to it.) Don't own any of the characters or music! They belong to their respective owners. Except for Kari. I own Kari. I may have changed the lyrics just a little bit.

Cast:
Kyoya as Timon
Gingka as Pumbaa
Ryuga as Simba
Kari as Nala

Kyoya: "I can see what's happening,"

Gingka: "I can't what?"

Kyoya: "And they don't have a clue,"

Gingka: (turns to Kyoya) "Who's they?"

Kyoya: "They'll fall in love, and here's the bottom line, our trio's down to two."

Gingka: (turns away) "Oh, I get it,"

Kyoya: "The sweet caress of twilight,"

Gingka: "Twilight,"

Kyoya: "There's magic everywhere,"

Gingka: "It's everywhere,"

Kyoya: "and with all this romantic atmosphere, disaster's in the air."

The scene switches from Kyoya and Gingka to Ryuga and Kari as they're climbing down from the rocks from above, Ryuga helping Kari as his golden eyes never leave her hazel.

Ryuga/Kari: "Can you feel the love tonight? The peace the evening brings, the world for once, in perfect harmony, with all its living things."

They stop at a lake, Ryuga looking at Kari with a forlorn look as he sips water from his hands.

Ryuga: "So many things to tell her, but how to make her see? The truth about my past? Impossible, she'd turn away from me."

Kari meets Ryuga's gaze as she stops drinking the water, but he turns away. He then meets her eye again.

Kari: "He's holding back, he's hiding, but what, I can't decide. Why won't he be the Emperor I know he is? The Emperor I see inside?"

Ryuga runs past Kari, Kari giving him a look, just as he swings past on a vine, landing in the lake with a splash.

Ryuga/Kari: "Can you feel the love tonight? The peace the evening brings?"

Kari looks over, blinking her eyes in fear, only to see a flash of black, red and white as Ryuga hooks his fingers in the back of her shirt to pull her in the water. She comes back up, gasping and freezing as she crawls up on land. Ryuga joins her, and with a smirk playing her lips, Kari pushes him in the water. The scene changes again as Kari and Ryuga run in a field.

Ryuga/Kari: "The world for once, in perfect harmony, with all its living things."

Kari wraps her arms around Ryuga as they embrace, just as Ryuga pushes Kari back without warning, and the two tumble over, rolling down the hill, until they crash to the grass, Ryuga on top of Kari, their arms still wrapped around each other.

Ryuga/Kari: "Can you feel the love tonight? You needn't look too far,"

Ryuga lifts his head, leaves caught in his red and white hair and headpiece as he shakes his head to get them out. Kari giggles under him, then kisses him, making him turn to her in shock. Kari leans her head back, smiling at him as the moon's rays shine in her auburn and silver hair, making Ryuga's breath catch at how beautiful she is in the moonlight. He smiles at her, love in both their eyes.

Ryuga/Kari: "Stealing through, the night's uncertainties. Love is where they are."

Kari lifts up her body, wrapping her arms around Ryuga, Ryuga doing the same as he pulls her in for another passionate kiss.

The scene switches back to Gingka and Kyoya, Kyoya trying not to cry.

Kyoya: "And if he falls in love tonight, it can be assumed,"

Gingka: "His carefree days with us are history,"

Both Kyoya and Gingka wrap their arms around each other, trying to hold back their tears as they do, saddened that their friend won't be coming back.

Gingka/Kyoya: "In short, our pal is dooooooooomed."

They both look at each other again, but can't hold back their tears of sadness as they both just start breaking down crying. In the distance, Kari and Ryuga are holding hands, sitting down, Kari's head resting against Ryuga's chest, Ryuga's arm wrapped around her. They share another sweet kiss as the sun sets in front of them. They then turn to each other, smiling.

"I love you, my Dragon Emperor." Kari whispers gently.

"I love you too, my Dragon Empress." Ryuga says with a smile as he kisses Kari again, pushing her gently on her back as their hands intertwine.

And that's it! That's the one shot. My favorite part was writing out the scene where Kari and Ryuga are tumbling over the hill into the grass. That is beautiful!!!! I loved writing it! This is for shining_skies_12 ! You are one of my favorite Role players, so I thought I would write this sweet little one shot for you!! I hope you like it!!
