"Look who we have here." Aliee my bully from high school pointed me out.

I put my head down.

"Oh Paige, oh Paige." Aliee said. "How is your depressed dad?"

I stayed quiet knowing she didn't really care.

"This year will be interesting." She said walking past me.

As she did she hit me with her backpack making it look an accident. I shook it off and got my books for class. As I did the teacher walked in.

You gotta be kidding me. You choose to walk in now? You couldn't have came in a few minutes early?

As class went by I felt dizzy. I shook it off and kept writing down the notes.

"Miss?" The teacher walked up to me.

He handed me some tissue. I looked at him confused until I tasted blood. I took the tissue from him wiping my nose. I kept the tissue over my nose throughout class.

When class ended I was the last to leave. I didn't want to run into Aliee and her gang. I got to my locker safe but I felt dizzy. I looked to see him staring at me. He closed his locker and walked away.

Weird.

I managed to keep away from Aliee the rest of the day. I knew I was going to dread this year now.

I got to the bus stop, sat and waited. I looked up to see him walking towards the stop. He sat next to me. We sat in silence until the bus came.

"Thanks." I nodded as he let me on the bus first.

I paid my way finding a seat. I sat down and he sat next to me. I shrugged it off. I watched the cars, trees, buildings as we passed them.

He woke me up out of my sleep. I didn't even know I was sleeping. We got off the bus. He went one way I went the other. I looked back right as he did.

I walked inside smelling dinner already cooking.

"Dad." I called out. "I'm home."

"I'm in the kitchen." He called back.

I walked into the kitchen. He was cooking stir fry. My favorite.

"How was your first day of college?" He asked.

"Aliee and her shit of a gang go there." I sighed. "They already started bullying me."

"You can always.."

"No." I shook my head. "I'm not backing out that easy. I can't be that weak girl from high school"

My dad nodded.

"You're right." He pressed his lips together.

"How was work?" I asked.

"It was good." He nodded. "Busy as usual."

My dad owns a small yet busy hardware shop. I work there on the weekends.

"I'm gonna go change, I'll be out for dinner." I grabbed bag and went to my room.

I sighed as I sat down on my bed. I can't get him out of my head.

I sighed getting into comfortable clothes. I looked out my window to see him walking a dog. His dog.

He then stopped and looked up at him. I ducked, hiding myself.
