Hadie took the book from belle and started reading the next chapter, everyone was tensed about maleficent's plan.

"Mal, first tell me, Where are you going?" Ben asked as he walked towards her.

"Didn't I say that to collect done?" Mal asked.

"I want the name of a specific item you're going to collect" he explained.

"First...Let me go and then once I get back, you will know." Mal said putting her hands on his arms before pecking his lips and walking out of the hideout, Evie and Jay following behind her.

"Why didn't you take me?" Ben asked.
"Because, Benny boy, you don't know the isle like us" Evie said while the Vk's agreed.

"Blue Fairy, is there any way by which we can see where they are going?" Belle asked as the Fairy nodded and cast a spell to show everyone what Mal, Evie, and Jay were doing.

"Thank you mom for suggesting the idea" Ben said and nodded his thanks towards his mother.

Meanwhile, the trio had started to make their way down towards Dragon Hall but only found the building to be locked. Mal spotted a stone next to her and picked it up before breaking the lock with the stone like they used to do back when she still lived on the Isle.

"Like old time" Evie said

"You used to do like this, when you were young?" Malinda asked.

"It's the isle, so yes" Harry replied.

"Ah, the memories." Mal thought to herself before tossing the rock away and walking into Dragon Hall with Eve and Jay.

"Let's see whether we can find the books" jay said to Evie.

The three found the Forbidden Library and headed down towards the adjoining room. There, they found a few bookshelves with a couple of really old books along with various chemicals.

"Did Dr. Facilier ever tried to clean the place, or add some new things there?" Uma asked.

"No, I guess, because it's Dr. F, we are talking about." Carlos said.

"Jay, E. Start looking there while I start looking over here." Mal said as the other two nodded and walked away.

"Yes Ma'am" jay and Evie said making mal roll her eyes.

After a search of 40 minutes, the trio finally found 2 books regarding the talismans.

"Only two?" Hades asked to no one.

"Right. So, now that we've found the books, we will head to the Bergain Castle. Now, I am telling you two the reasons as to why we are heading there. There were two Scepters that were created in the Moors. One is the scepter of Darkness, my Mother's scepter. And the other is the scepter of Goodness, which my Mother tried to manipulate but couldn't and now the scepter belongs to me. What we will do now is retrieve it. Alright?" Mal explained as Evie and Jay nodded their heads.

"You have a sceptre?" Evie asked.
"And did Ben knew about it before me?"
"Yes to both questions, he did only knew that it existed" mal explained while Ben nodded along her words.

After a while, the three finally made it to the Bergain Castle. With Jay on guard duty, Mal and Evie made their way down to the dungeons. Then, with Mal leading the way, the two made it to Mal and Maleficent's fairy room. From there, Mal took the "Dragon's Heart" scepter and the two made their way out of the room. As the two were walking back out of the Castle, they found some swords and took it with them just in case there was an emergency.

"Keep a weapon always in steady" chad said while Adam nodded to him.

Heading out of the so-called home of Mal's, the trio started making their way towards the hideout. But on the way, danger had struck them.

"What danger? What's happening? " Ben asked worried for his wife, and his friends, while he held mal close to his heart.

They were surrounded by a few of Maleficent's minions, who each had a sword on them.

"Not the goblins, I hate them" mal whined like a toddler.

"Mal, Evie. Take these two swords." Jay said as he handed the two women a sword. Mal and Jay started fighting with the minions whereas Evie made her way back to the hideout by running.

"Don't get hurt. Don't get hurt" Ben startes to continuously mutter while holding mal close. And mal started rubbing Ben's hand with her thumb.

Mal had defeated most of her enemies but turned around to see that one of the minions was going to stab Jay who was oblivious to him as he was trying to fight off another minion. Without another thought, Mal jumped behind Jay as the minion pushed a knife into the left side of Mal's stomach.

"No. No. No. What the hell. " Ben shouted as he grew pale, worrying that something bad will happen to the future mal.

Not wanting Jay to worry, she didn't let Jay know of the incident and continued to defeat the minions with him.

"If this happens, you're telling me about it. And I don't want to hear no" jay said while glaring at mal.

Once they killed all the minions, they ran as fast as they could towards the hideout, Jay still oblivious to the fact that Mal was hurt and Mal not letting the pain in her side get in her way as the two ran for their lives to the hideout.

"What has the gecko done. She don't have to be used to pain. She can show her feelings" Persephone whispered to hades, while he rubbed her shoulders, planning in his head, about ways to kill Maleficent.

Upon reaching the hideout, the two were hugged by all their friends and family. Suddenly, Mal became dizzy before falling to the ground, becoming unconscious. Ben sat on the ground and pulled her into his lap.

"No. No. No. Pls god. No. Mal wakeup" Ben shouted.
"Benjamin this is the future, not the present" mal said while trying to calm him down.

"Mal? Mal! Wake up. Wake up, honey." Ben said as he tried to wake his wife before Chad noticed a red spot with blood dripping out of the wound on Mal's side.

"Oh my god. Oh my god. Pls make it through alive. Pls god " Ben pleaded quietly.

"Ben...She's been stabbed. There is blood dripping out from her side." Chad said in a panicked tone making everyone look at Mal and gasping before her children started to cry.

"Don't worry. I'm not gonna die. This is nothing" mal assured the kids. Ben had tears running down. He was scared.

Ben lifted her onto a bed as Evie, Belle, Cinderella, Fairy Godmother, Aurora, Ariel, Mulan, and Audrey started their work on stitching the stabbed wound whereas the others prayed for Mal's safety. Persephone and Fairy Godmother used their magic to heal the wounded fairy but Mal was still unconscious.

"Thank you for the help" Ben said to them while still sniffling, and cuddling mal close to his heart.

Ben moved towards the bed and cradled her in his arms while brushing her hair softly as everyone else patiently waited for Mal to wake up.

"I know this is not the moment. But love the Bal moment. " Evie said while both mal and ben smiled sightly.

"This is the end of the chapter" Hadie said.

"I'm gonna read the next one" Hades said. And he took the book from his son
