Outfits in the external link

From 4.01 "The Dark Moon", in the clinic, Lydia, Adriana and Stiles stood on the left side of the table. Ari stood at one ends of the table between Stiles and Scott. Scott, Stacie and Natalie were standing across from Lydia Adriana and Stiles.

Ari pulled out a gold bullet shell with a skull etched into it. Her irises glowed purple.

Stiles: (voice over) "Previously on Worlds Colliding (Teen Wolf)"

Ari looked up, putting the bullet down.

"It's the mark of a family of hunters based out of Mexico," Scott told them. "The Calaveras."

From 3.14 "More Bad Than Good", in the basement, Peter, Derek and Tara were chained to the walls.

Severo, Araya and other hunters stood nearby.

Lydia: (voice over from 4.01 The Dark Moon) "What would they want with Derek and Tara?"

From 4.01 "The Dark Moon", in the Calaveras' hallway, a hunter drew his gun, aiming at Tara.

Tara caught his wrist, using her other arm to punch him in the face, grabbing his throat, turning around, throwing him into the wall on the other side of the hall, making him fall to the floor, walking away, leaving.

Stiles: (voice over from 4.01 The Dark Moon) "How do we find them?"

From 4.01 "The Dark Moon", on the road, the car behind Tara exploded into flames, throwing Tara through the air.

Scott: (voice over from 4.01 The Dark Moon) "Mexico."

From 4.01 "The Dark Moon", in the Calaveras' hallway, Ari looked at Araya in realization. "You don't know where Derek is, either."

From 4.01 "The Dark Moon", in the electrical room, Lydia, Ari, Scott and Tara were chained up.

Severo and Araya stood in front of them.

Araya looked at Tara. "You know who took him."

Tara was still being electrified. She was dying. She couldn't breathe. Her vision was blurred. Her body was shutting down.

Ari looked at Severo. "Make it stop."

"You're killing her!" Lydia told them.

"Turn it off!" Scott told them.

Severo turned the current off.

"Say the name, Tara," Araya told her.

Tara slowly, weakly, painfully looked up, breathing heavily. "Kate."

From 4.01 "The Dark Moon", outside La Iglasia, everyone met up.

Malia looked at Stacie. "Is that him? Is that Derek?"

Stacie took a second to find the right words. "Uh... sort of."

The person looked up, revealing that it was Young, Teenage Derek from 3.08 Visionary.

Flashback

Night - Beacon Hills High School - Outside

There was a full moon high in the sky and there was a basketball game getting underway inside.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Inside - Boys' Locker Room

All of the boys on the basketball team walked out, leaving, cheering.

The Coach looked into the locker room, but stayed in the doorway. "Hale, let's go. Derek Hale!"

The Coach walked away, leaving.

Young Derek was in the shower, in uniform, trying to fight off the transformation.

Young Peter walked in.

Young Derek looked up. His eyes were glowing blue and his canines were out.

Young Peter turned the shower off, pulling Young Derek off the floor.

"I thought... I thought I could control it," Young Derek told him.

"All this risk?" Young Peter asked. "Just for a basketball game?"

"It's the finals," Young Derek told him. "They need me."

Young Derek pushed past him.

Young Peter turned to face him. "To do what? Rip someone's throat out on the court?" Young Derek leaned against the lockers, trying to remain in control. "Even born wolves have to learn control on a full moon, Derek."

"Yeah, but it's supposed to be easier for us," Young Derek told him. "Why does it hurt like this?"

"Did you bring it?" Young Peter asked.

"It's not working," Young Derek told him, looking down.

"Did you bring it?" Young Peter repeated forcefully. Young Derek pulled a metal disk from his pocket. It bore triskele, the same symbol both Present-Day Derek and Tara had as tattoos. "Go ahead."

Young Derek was breathing heavily, shaking his head. "I told you, it's not working."

"Do it," Young Peter told him.

Young Derek gave in, sighing. "Alpha, Beta, Omega."

"Again," Young Peter told him.

"Alpha, Beta, Omega," Young Derek repeated, falling to his knees on the floor.

"Again," Young Peter told him.

"Alpha, Beta, Omega," Young Derek told him.

"Again," Young Peter told him.

Young Derek repeated the chant, but his eyes glowed blue and his canines and claws came out. "Alpha, Beta, Omega. Alpha, Beta, Omega."

Young Derek was kneeling on the floor, looking at the ceiling, having his arms raised on either side of him, his eyes glowing blue, screaming.

Now

Day One

Night - Gas Station - Outside

It was pouring rain.

An attendant walked outside toward his car, hearing growls from the bathroom, walking closer. "Hey." He knocked on the door. "You okay in there?"

¤•¤°¤•¤

Bathroom

Kate was having transformation problems under the full moon. She was soaked from the rain outside, trying and failing to control herself, groaning in pain.

She heard the attendant's voice from outside. "Hey, you all right? What's going on in there?"

"Just a second," Kate told him.

"Hey," the attendant told her.

"I'll be out in a minute!" Kate told him.

The knocking on the door continued.

Kate looked at the claws on her fingers, breathing heavily.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Outside

The attendant continued to knock. "You need to open the door. I don't know what the hell you're doing, or whatever you're on, but I got a key. You come out, or I'm coming in. Hey! You want me to call the cops? You hear me? Lady, opening the door. Open it!"

The attendant took out his keys, unlocking the door.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Bathroom

The attendant walked in. "You okay?"

Kate was completely shifted, spinning to face the attendant, roaring. (slow motion)

Kate attacked the attendant in a frenzy.

¤•¤°¤•¤

There was a black wolf with red eyes.

Scott looked up. He blinked. When he opened his eyes, they were glowing red.

Scott stood alone in a cloud of dust or smoke, hitting the ground. Tyler Posey.

Stiles stood at a translucent crime board, adding a few things. Dylan O'Brien.

There was a hand held high with a claw on each finger.

Stacie looked straight ahead, holding a crossbow in hand, holding it pointing up in front of her face, looking straight ahead. Zoey Deutch.

Ari and Adriana stood back to back. Ari looked to the left, holding her motorcycle helmet in her hands, the irises of her eyes glowing blue. Adriana looked to the right, tracing her double infinity tattoo on her wrist, her eyes glowing completely purple. There was water sprinkles everywhere as they both looked up. Katherine McNamara.

Scott and Tara kissed passionately, pulling away.

Tara stood with her back toward you, looking over her shoulder, black blood covering her skin, her body reflecting each other. Victoria Justice.

On the back of Tara's hand, a triskele appeared. The spirals were black. The tip of one spiral was Beta blue. The tip of one spiral was Beta gold. The tip of one spiral was Alpha red. The intersection point was purple.

Derek looked up, shirtless, his eyes closed, shifted, roaring. Dust was falling off of his body. Tyler Hoechlin.

On Derek's back, a triskele appeared.

Lydia's hair covered her face, her hands held in front of her. She tossed her head back to get it to fall behind her. Holland Roden.

Natalie sat in a chair, half turned, her left leg to the left side of the chair, her right leg in front of it, her left arm lying on the back of the chair. Her eyes glowed gold. Sasha Pieterse.

A double infinity sign tattoo appeared on Adriana's wrist.

A black wolf howled.

Malia was in the woods, her arms raised at her sides. Shelley Hennig.

Kira was in a fighting stance, holding her katana sword raised ready. Arden Cho.

Angel stood within fire, water and electricity, air blowing through her hair. She had her arms raised to her sides as if taking flight. Her eyes were glowing a dark, fiery gold. Ginny Gardner.

On Scott's arm, two bands appeared, the top band thicker than the other.

The black blood pulled away from Tara's body, almost as it was never there.

Scott stared ahead. His eyes glowed red. He tilted his head toward his chest.

Beacon Hills Animal Clinic - Outside

It was still raining.

Tara opened the Camaro door.

Young Derek was lying in the backseat, asleep, covered with a blanket.

Scott and Ari reached inside to get Young Derek outside, carrying him toward the door.

Stacie and Stiles were holding the doors open.

They walked inside.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Inside - Backroom

Lydia, Adriana and Natalie cleared a table, pulling it closer.

Scott, Ari and Tara laid Young Derek on the table.

Stacie, Stiles and Deaton walked closer.

Ari, Stacie, Scott and Tara stood on one side of the table. Deaton, Lydia, Adriana and Natalie stood on the other side. Stiles was standing at the end of the table, by Derek's feet, between Natalie and Ari.

Deaton looked down at Young Derek. "Wow."

"Wow?" Adriana repeated. "Wow, as in, 'I've seen this before and I know exactly what to do' kind of wow? 'Cause that's the kind of wow we were hoping for."

"I think you might be overestimating my abilities, Adriana," Deaton told her.

Stacie held Young Derek's hand. "He's cold. Really cold."

"Do you think this is permanent?" Scott asked.

Deaton shone a flashlight over Young Derek's unconscious features, turning off the light, looking at Scott. "I'm not sure a medical diagnosis is even adequate."

"So what do we do with him?" Natalie asked.

"Until he wakes up?" Deaton asked. "Probably not much. It might be best to leave him with me. He'll be safe here."

"You mean from Kate?" Stiles asked.

Deaton looked at him. "If she's alive and she is what you say she is, she won't be able to walk past the gate."

"Why would she want to do this to him?" Lydia asked.

Tara had a numb expression. "Knowing Kate, it's probably for a reason that won't be any good for anyone but her."

Ari scoffed. "And bad for everyone else."

"Then I guess it's a good thing I didn't know her," Natalie told them.

Adriana nodded, looking at Natalie, raising her eyebrows. "Yes, Natalie, oh, yes, it is."

"You guys should probably go home," Deaton told them. "He doesn't look to be in any danger. So maybe the rest of you should get some sleep? It is a school night. And you all need to start taking care of your own lives again."

"Somebody should stay with you," Lydia told him.

"I'll do it," Tara told her. "I don't even go to school."

Scott shook his head.

Tara looked at him, raising eyebrows as if to ask oh, really?

Scott had a look that said he was trying to get out of trouble for trying to tell Tara what to do. "Well, what I mean is, you need to finish healing. You and Derek have tons of stuff for healing at the loft. All I'm saying is it'd be a good idea to use it."

"He's not wrong, Tara," Deaton told her.

Tara exhaled, looking at Young Derek at the table, knowing they were right.

Stacie was still holding his hand. "I'll stay. My grades are fine." She looked at Ari next to her. "Thanks to a genius tutor that is my best friend named Ari." Ari smiled. "Despite missing a few classes."

Stiles shook his head. "I'm so not okay with this, Stacie."

Stacie looked at him. "Stiles, go."

"Stacie, no," Stiles told her.

Stacie looked at the others. "Guys, help me out with my annoyingly protective fraternal twin brother."

"Text us if anything happens," Ari told her.

They all started to walk away.

"Nope, still not okay with it," Stiles told them. "Not going anywhere." Adriana grabbed Stiles by his jacket as she walked by, pulling him toward the door. "All right, Adriana, just 'cause you're stronger than everybody..."

Stacie smiled. "Thank you, Adri."

"You're welcome, Stacie," Adriana replied.

They left Deaton and Stacie to help Young Derek.

McCall House - Living Room

Natalie opened the backdoor, walking inside, noticing that a bowl was placed on the floor to catch the water droplets that dripped in through the roof from the rain.

Scott followed her inside.

Raphael McCall was sleeping on the couch.

Natalie looked at Scott, nodding to his father.

Scott nodded in understanding, slowly closing the door quietly.

Natalie easily and sneakily stepped over a toolbox next to the water bowl.

Scott tripped over the tool box, making the tools clatter loudly.

Natalie groaned internally.

Raphael woke up, standing, walking closer. "Scott? Natalie?"

"Hey, Dad," Scott told him.

"Hi, Mr. McCall," Natalie told him. "What's with the tools?"

"Oh, I was just, uh..." Raphael trailed off, sighing. "Getting started on a list of repairs they need done. What time is it?"

"It's, um..." Natalie trailed off, looking down at the clock on the end table, turning it away so he wouldn't see the actual time, which said 4:05. "Midnight."

Raphael looked at Scott. "We were supposed to have dinner. We had a deal. When your mom has a night shift, we have dinner." He looked at Natalie. "And I've already told you before that you could join us anytime you want, Natalie."

"Sorry, we totally forgot about it," Scott told him. "When we got back from the camping trip, we had to go straight to the animal clinic to finish up work."

"All right," Raphael told them. "Well, Natalie, I think it's a good thing you have a job at the clinic now. Gives you something to do to break out of the anti-social-ness." Natalie nodded once awkwardly. "Well..." Raphael sighed. "Tomorrow night. The three of us. Dinner."

"Great," Scott told him.

"Did you guys get anything to eat?" Raphael asked.

Natalie exhaled, starting to walk away. "Yeah. Mexican."

Day Two

Morning - Beacon Hills Animal Clinic - Backroom

Stacie had fallen asleep in a chair next to the table Young Derek was lying on. She was still wearing her clothes from the night before. She slowly woke up.

Deaton was checking Young Derek's pulse.

"How's he doing?" Stacie asked.

"His heart rate is alarmingly high," Deaton answered.

Stacie stood, walking up next to Deaton at the table, taking Young Derek's hand in her own. "He's a lot warmer now."

"Stacie, I'm going to try something," Deaton told her. "I want you to keep holding his hand, if that's okay."

Stacie nodded, not letting him go.

Deaton took out a knife, slicing a long line into his arm.

And it immediately healed, stitching together before he even took the knife out of the wound.

"That looks like it healed really fast," Stacie told him.

"Unusually fast," Deaton agreed.

"What does it mean?" Stacie asked.

Deaton sighed. "I'm not sure." He looked at Stacie. "But I hear you've been different for the last couple of months."

Stacie sighed, looking away. "Ever since being possessed... and all the things I did... I can't stop thinking about it. I also can't get the feeling of Allison and the Nogitsunes dying out of my head. Like them dying brought me closer to death. The pain I feel from Stiles, Scott and Ari, and by default, Adriana... It's not getting any easier. Actually... it's getting worse." She looked at Deaton with a hopeful look, trying to joke her way out of talking about it. "I don't suppose that there's a way to shut it off by any chance, is there?"

"If there was, you know I would have already told you about it," Deaton told her.

Stacie sighed, looking away. "Yeah..."

Deaton was thinking, pointing at her. "But I did find something about how you can deal with the pain, make it to where you can... still do the things that you need to do even if one of them is hurt. You'll still feel the pain, just not to that extent. It might take awhile to learn, but..."

"I'm willing to try anything," Stacie told him honestly.

"Just find something to focus on when you're in pain," Deaton told her. "Something to distract you, to keep your mind clear, to keep you strong and tether it to you. Sort of like an anchor."

"So if one of them is writhing on the floor in pain, I don't have to be?" Stacie asked sarcastically. Deaton smiled. Stacie chuckled. "An anchor for the anchor. I just don't know what."

Deaton looked from Stacie down to Young Derek on the table. He looked at Stacie, looking like he got an idea. "Let's try something else, Stacie. Grab me a five milliliter syringe. Top drawer."

Stacie walked around the table to the drawers, about to open the top one.

Young Derek was starting to wake. He had a claw on each finger. He sat up, turning to face them.

Deaton and Stacie heard him move, turning to face him.

Young Derek stood, hanging his head, having his eyes closed.

"Derek?" Stacie asked. Young Derek exhaled, looking up, not seeming to recognize either of them. His eyes were glowing blue like he was having trouble with the shift. "Derek, are you all right?" Young Derek saw Stacie and Deaton through red vision. "Derek, are you all right? Derek?"

Stacie took a step forward.

Deaton held an arm out to stop her. "Stacie, wait. Derek? Derek?"

Deaton took a step forward.

Young Derek slashed Deaton's arm, making him fall back over the table, to the floor.

Stacie knelt next to Deaton, looking up.

Young Derek was gone.

And he hadn't recognized either of them.

(Song:) Happy With Me - Holy Child

Scott and Stiles were walking together.

"All right, so, it's, like, two in the morning," Stiles told him. "I wake up, and she's just lying right next to me. She just sneaks in. This was, like, five times a week."

They walked upstairs.

"And then what happens?" Scott asked.

"This," Stiles answered, lifting the back of his shirt to show Scott his back.

Scott was surprised. "Holy..."

"Yeah," Stiles told him, lowering his shirt. "Right on, right?" They continued to walk. "After that, we spent the rest of the night spooning."

"That sounds okay," Scott told him.

"Yeah, but I'm always the little spoon," Stiles told him. "Always."

"This means you guys are together, right?" Scott asked. "You're dating?"

"I don't know," Stiles told him. "Sometimes, the way she looks at me, I think she knows I'm not telling her something."

"You mean Peter?" Scott asked.

"Yeah," Stiles answered. "I mean, you haven't told Tara that Malia is Peter's daughter, have you? That Malia is Tara's cousin? And Derek's, for that matter."

"We just got Tara back, and I haven't had time," Scott told him. "We got to tell them, Stiles."

"Yeah, I know," Stiles told him. "I just... I don't know how."

(Song Ends)

¤•¤°¤•¤

Inside - History Classroom

Stiles, Scott and Ari sat together.

Natalie, Lydia and Adriana sat together behind them.

Angel, Kira and Malia sat together behind them.

Adriana and Lydia, as usual, had their phones out in plain sight as they texted. They didn't care if they got caught.

Natalie and Angel kept their phones out of view.

Mr. Yukimura looked toward them. "Girls, phones off, phones away." They didn't answer, obviously not knowing he had been talking to them. "Angel, Natalie, Lydia, Adriana." They looked up. "Phones away." Angel put her phone away. Natalie put her phone down. Lydia lowered her phone out of view. Adriana put her phone on the desk, still looking at the screen. Yukimura turned his attention to the rest of the class. "It might surprise you to know that some history's greatest leaders have had to endure some pretty great failures. One you'll recognize from last night's reading failed in business, had a nervous break down, was defeated for both houses of Congress, and lost as Vice President before he was finally elected as one of the greatest presidents this country has ever seen. Who was he?" Kira and another student rose their hands. Ari raised her hand, smirking. Stiles raised his hand, winking. Malia had a yellow highlighter in her teeth, using her red highlighter to highlight pages in the book. "Malia." Malia stopped, looking up. Stiles, Scott and Ari looked at Malia. Malia looked up nervously. Scott's phone rang. "Scott, phones off." Scott nodded, turning it off. "Malia? One of our greatest presidents." Malia put the red highlighter in her mouth over the yellow highlighter, nodding, starting to get out her book. "Gettysburg address..." Ari's phone was on her desk. It chimed. "Ari, phones off." Ari looked down at her phone, but she didn't make a move to turn it off. Stiles and Scott looked at Ari. Ari shrugged slightly. Malia took the highlighters out of her mouth, flipping through the book. "Malia." Stiles' phone chimed. Yukimura was getting annoyed. "Phones off, everyone. Malia?" Malia didn't answer. "Does anyone else know?" Most of the people in class rose their hands. Malia looked down in embarrassment. Another phone beeped. "I said phones off!"

"Dad, that was yours," Kira told him.

"Oh," Yukimura told them. "Um..." He turned to get his phone, reading the text. "'Scott, Ari, call Stacie'."

Angel, Kira, Malia, Natalie, Lydia and Adriana looked up at Stiles, Scott and Ari.

Stiles, Scott and Ari exchanged a look.

Beacon Hills Animal Clinic - Backroom

Scott, Stiles, Stacie, Ari, Lydia, Natalie, Adriana and Deaton were talking.

Adriana was bandaging Deaton's slashed arm.

"I don't think he's just younger in body," Deaton told them. "I think he's younger in his mind too."

"He didn't recognize either of us," Stacie told them. She sighed. "And he looked like he was scared out of his mind."

"So, if you're a teenage Werewolf and you're scared, where do you go?" Stiles asked.

"A wolf goes back to its den," Adriana told them.

"But he lives in a loft with Tara," Natalie told them.

"Not when he was a teenager," Ari told them.

"The Hale House?" Lydia asked.

"He wouldn't remember the fire," Deaton told them. "It wouldn't have happened yet."

¤•¤°¤•¤

Hale Property

Young Derek was returned to the where the old Hale House had used to be, tearing down a fence that had a 'no trespassing' sign on it.

Not even the remains of the Hale House was standing. It had been torn down completely.

Construction work was all around.

Young Derek looked around in confusion, walking toward the scrape remains of the house, sitting down to look through it.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Beacon Hills Animal Clinic - Backroom

The group was still talking.

"Hold on," Natalie told them. "Say you do manage to catch up to him. What are you going to say to him? That his whole family is dead?"

"I guess I'm going to have to," Scott told them.

"Oh," Adriana told them sarcastically. "Good luck with that."

"I can't believe I'm saying this, but Adriana's probably right," Stiles told them.

"And you know it's bad when Stiles agrees with me," Adriana told them.

Stiles nodded in agreement. "Adriana's not wrong. Maybe we shouldn't tell him. You know, at least until we figure out how to get him back to normal."

"I can't lie to him," Stacie told them.

"You're a bad liar, anyway, Stacie," Stiles told her. Stacie gave him a sarcastic look. "So, I'll do it."

"I don't think any of us can," Ari told them. "Remember, he can hear a heartbeat rising. When we find him, we tell him the truth."

"If he gets to the house first, you won't have to, Ari," Deaton told her.

They sighed, knowing he was right.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Hale Property

Young Derek was shifting through the scrape remains of the house.

Two deputies got out of their car, walking closer.

One of them was Deputy Jordan Parrish, Angel's uncle.

They walked toward Young Derek.

"Excuse me, young man?" Jordan asked.

"You're calling him young man?" the deputy asked in amusement.

"Shut up, Haigh," Jordan told him. He looked at Young Derek. "I'm sorry, but you can't be here."

"Hey, dumbass," Haigh told him. "You ever hear of no trespassing?"

"This is my house," Young Derek told them.

"Nobody's been here for years, kid," Haigh told him. "Now get the hell out of here."

Jordan gave him an annoyed look. "Haigh... maybe a slightly gentler touch?" He looked at Young Derek. "Are you all right? We can help you if something's wrong."

"What happened to my house?" Young Derek asked. "Where's my family?"

Haigh walked closer. "All right, let's go. Now."

Haigh grabbed Young Derek by the arm, pulling him up.

Young Derek stood, grabbing Haigh's arm, squeezing it painfully, making him groan in pain.

"Hold on, just take it easy," Jordan told them. Young Derek looked at Jordan. Haigh took out his taser. "Haigh, would you... don't. Wait!" Haigh tasered Young Derek in the side twice. "Haigh! Haigh, stand down!"

Haigh tasered Young Derek again, making him groan in pain.

Flashback

Night Before - Hale Loft Building - Outside

Tara's Camaro pulled up to the building.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Tara's Camaro

Tara was sitting in the driver's seat, parking.

Scott was sitting in the passenger seat.

Tara sighed. "You didn't have to escort me home. Yes, I know going after the the Calaveras was stupid. But so was your plan to save me. It nearly got everyone killed. That's why I didn't ask for your help in the beginning. You can be mad about it all you want, but I was only trying to save my brother while protecting you."

Scott looked at her. "I'm not mad, Tara, but... surprised." He hesitated for a long moment. "Listen, there's something I gotta tell you..." Again, he hesitated, this hesitation longer than the last. Tara looked at him, waiting for him to go on. "I'm just glad you're okay. Even though you nearly died trying to protect Lydia, Ari and me, you got through it. Just like you always do."

Tara exhaled. "Enough, Scott. Like you said, we all need to go home, rest, heal and try to figure out a way to turn my teenage brother back into my old brother."

"What changed your mind?" Scott asked.

Tara looked at him. "What do you mean?"

"Well, I mean, before all this happened, you wouldn't even allow this," Scott answered, slowly, gently, taking her hand in his. "You pushed it away. So, what changed your mind?"

"Maybe being captured, tortured and on the brink of death for two months changed my mind," Tara answered. "Which is sort of sad to say."

Scott smiled a small smile. "I don't think so."

Tara looked away, shaking her head, smiling a small smile.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Now

Day - Hale Property

Tara had been following Derek's scent since she had left the loft that day. She stood over the sit of their old home, kneeling next to the scrape remains, touching the woods plank she could tell Young Derek had touched earlier. She stood, starting to follow his scent again.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Sheriff's Station

Young Derek was sitting on the bench, handcuffed.

Jordan walked toward him. He knelt in front of Young Derek with the keys to the cuffs, looking over his shoulder toward where Haigh was sitting at his desk, sighing, looking at Young Derek. "The other deputy thinks I'm an idiot for even asking, but I have a feeling if I take these cuffs off, you're going to be okay? And I think you'll help us figure out what happened to your family so that we can get you out of here. Am I right?"

Young Derek nodded.

Jordan took the handcuffs off.

"The other deputy's the idiot," Young Derek told him.

Jordan smiled. "I can't argue with that."

"Parrish, get over here," Haigh told him. Jordan stood, walking closer. "I ran this kid's prints eight times. This is all that comes up."

Jordan looked at the computer screen. "Derek Hale?"

Sheriff overheard the conversation, walking closer. "Did you say Hale?" He looked from the mugshot of Derek to where Young Derek was sitting on the bench. He looked back and forth a couple of times, walking closer, crouching in front of him to look him in the eyes, realizing that this was a younger version of Derek, but in disbelief. He backed away to look at the mugshot, looking at Young Derek. Young Derek looked at him weirdly. Stiles, Stacie, Ari and Scott walked in. Stacie was in a change of clothing instead of the clothes that she had been wearing while in the clinic that morning and the night before. Sheriff looked at Jordan and Haigh. "I'll handle this."

Sheriff waved for Stiles, Stacie, Ari and Scott to follow him into his office, walking inside.

Stiles, Stacie, Ari and Scott followed.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Sheriff's Office

Stiles, Stacie, Ari, Scott and Sheriff were talking.

Sheriff was facing the four of them. "I want to be honest with me. Absolutely and completely honest. Have you been time traveling?"

"Hang on, what?" Stiles asked.

"Because if time traveling is real, you know what?" Sheriff asked. "I'm done. I'm out. You're going to be driving me to Eichen House."

"We found him like that," Stacie told him.

"Where?" Sheriff asked. "Swimming in the fountain of youth?"

"No," Ari answered. "We found him buried in a tomb of wolfsbane in an Aztec temple in Mexico underneath a church in the middle of a town that was destroyed by an earthquake."

Scott closed his eyes, sighing at the fact that Ari was being her usual sarcastic smartass self.

Sheriff looked from Stiles to Stacie. "You two told me you were camping."

"Yeah, we were..." Stiles trailed off. "In Mexico."

Sheriff pointed at Stiles and Stacie like he wanted to yell but couldn't find the right words.

"Derek's been aged backwards," Scott explained. "He can't remember anything. We tried to call Tara, but she didn't answer."

Stacie looked at Sheriff. "We just need to talk to him."

"Yeah, well, so far, he's not talking to anybody," Sheriff told them, sitting on his desk.

Scott sighed, turning around to look out the window. "He'll talk to me."

¤•¤°¤•¤

Later

Ari was sitting on Sheriff's desk.

Young Derek was sitting on the couch.

Scott, Stacie and Stiles stood next to Ari, facing Young Derek.

Sheriff was standing outside the window, looking in.

"Why would I go anywhere with you?" Young Derek asked.

"We know your sister, Tara," Scott told him. "We can take you to her as soon as we can. She can help."

"Tara's eight years old," Young Derek told them. "How can she help?"

"There was an accident," Ari told him. "You lost some memory, but we can help you get it back. Trust us, Tara's old enough now to help anyone. She's saved our lives multiple times."

Ari looked down, seeing two envelopes.

"How much memory?" Young Derek asked.

"A lot," Stacie answered, drawing out the last word.

Young Derek looked at her. "I know you." Ari looked up in surprise. Stacie looked at Scott, Stiles and Ari in confusion. "You're the girl from the clinic."

Stacie exhaled, realizing he hadn't meant that he remembered her, just that he saw her this morning. "Not really the best name I have for myself. But you can trust us."

Scott knelt in front of Young Derek, looking up with red glowing eyes.

"You're an Alpha," Young Derek told him. Ari moved the envelopes, both reading Eichen House. Ari looked toward Stacie and Stiles, looking down again. Young Derek looked at Ari. "Why does she feel like an Alpha if you're the Alpha?"

Ari looked up. "Oh, that's 'cause I'm half-Alpha."

Young Derek gave her a suspicious look. "You're lying."

"No, she's really not," Stiles told him, gesturing to her. "Ari?"

Ari knew what he meant, letting the irises of her eyes glow purple. Young Derek watched in confusion but awe as it faded. Ari looked at the envelopes again.

Young Derek looked at Scott. "Okay, who are you?" He looked at Ari. "Who is she?" He looked at Stiles. "Who is he?" The bottom of the envelope read Second Notice. Young Derek looked at Stacie. "Who are you?"

"Oh, we're the guys keeping you out of jail," Stiles told him.

"Let us help you," Scott told him.

Young Derek shook his head, sitting back. "No."

"Okay, dude, you almost tore apart two cops back there," Stacie told him. "And almost tore apart the guy at the clinic, right in front of me, by the way, which would've been lovely. You need to listen to us. And that starts with no fangs, no claws, no wolf man. You got that?"

"I'm fine as long as it's not a full moon," Young Derek told them.

Ari gave Young Derek a curious look. "You still have trouble with the full moon?"

"I said I'm fine," Young Derek repeated.

"All right, you coming with us or not?" Stiles asked.

"You want me to trust you?" Young Derek asked. "If you really know Tara, where is she? Where's the rest of our family?"

Ari, Scott, Stiles and Stacie looked at each other sadly.

Stacie sighed. "There was a fire. And..."

Young Derek gave her a numb look like he knew what she was gonna say, but didn't believe it.

"They're not here anymore," Scott told him. "They're fine." Ari, Stiles and Stacie looked at him very weirdly. "Just had to move out of Beacon Hills. And we're going to take you to them as soon as we figure out how to get your memories back."

Before Young Derek could answer, the door opened.

Tara walked in.

"You ask and you shall receive," Stacie told them. "Hello, Tara."

Tara looked at Stacie and Stiles. "Why is your dad asking me if time travel is real?"

Ari stood, standing next to Scott, Stiles and Stacie, looking at Tara. "Did you drive?"

"No, ran," Tara answered.

"Doesn't surprise me there," Stacie told them.

Young Derek stood up, walking closer in confusion, obviously surprised about how much she had grown in such a short amount of time, according to his memory. "Tara?"

"Hey," Tara told him. Young Derek sighed, wrapping his arms around her, surprising them. Tara slowly did the same. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah," Young Derek answered, pulling away, but his hands still gently held his little sister's arms. "Are you? They told me about the fire that made our family leave town." Tara looked at Ari, Scott, Stiles and Stacie in confused suspicion. Ari, Scott and Stacie looked guilty. Stiles shook his head, slicing a hand across his neck, trying to tell her not to say anything. Young Derek didn't notice anything wrong. "They said they knew you, but I didn't know if I should trust them."

Tara looked at Young Derek. "If I trust them, you can trust them."

Young Derek gave her a weird look, letting his eyes glow blue to see the color her eyes were when they glowed. The blue glow faded. "Your eyes changed. Why? Who? How?"

The only person Tara had ever killed was their human cousin Lucy because she couldn't make it out of the fire.

Stiles shook his head more fiercely.

Stacie elbowed his gut, making him stop, both groaning at the pain she'd caused, holding their stomachs.

Tara was more than a little annoyed at Stiles, taking a deep breath to calm down, looking at Young Derek. "Look, do you trust me?"

"Right now?" Young Derek asked. "More than anyone."

"Then let me fix this," Tara told him.

Young Derek hesitated, looking at Ari, Scott, Stiles and Stacie. He looked at Tara, exhaling. "Okay."

Main Room

Tara, Scott, Ari, Stacie and Stiles stood next to each other, watching Jordan discharge Young Derek.

Tara looked at Scott, Ari, Stacie and Stiles skeptically. "You really lied to him about what happened to our family?"

"I know, I shouldn't have done it," Scott told her. "I lied my ass off."

"Hey, your ass is fine," Stiles told him. He looked at Tara, smirking tauntingly. "You think so, too, Tara?" Tara gave Stiles a look, tilting her head, letting her fist fall smoothly, hitting against the end of an empty incense holder on the desk, making it ricochet off the desk, past Scott, Ari and Stacie, making it hit Stiles lightly in the face, not enough to hurt him or Stacie that badly. Stiles stumbled backwards. "Whoa!"

Stacie held a hand over her nose, looking at Stiles. "You deserved that."

Scott hung his head, closing his eyes.

Ari suppressed a smile.

Stiles stepped up against the table again, leaning against it, looking from Stacie to Tara. "Look, he saved him a ton unnecessary pain."

"Are we the only one feeling any guilt whatsoever?" Stacie asked.

"Look, yes, we know he's her brother and that you got a little crush on him, he's got a little crush on you, Stacie, get over it," Stiles told her. Stacie tilted her head. "We'll figure this out in a day or two, he goes back to being the old Derek, everyone's happy. Except for Derek and Tara, who are never happy." Stiles looked at Stacie. "Let's just hope this curse doesn't involve a true love's kiss, 'cause let's face it, Stacie, he is definitely the Beast in this love story."

"He's just another person we're lying to," Ari told them. "And I just always like it better when he tell the truth." She gestured to herself. "With Lydia, my mom..." She looked at Scott. "Your mom..." She looked from Stiles to Stacie. "Your dad..."

"Yeah, but that is Derek Hale in there," Stiles told them. "He may be a kid right now, but he's still Derek Hale."

"All right," Scott told them. He looked from Stiles to Stacie. "Take him to my house, meet Natalie there and don't let him out of your sight." He looked at Ari. "Ari, find Angel, Kira, Lydia and Adriana, tell them to meet us there."

Tara was already backing away.

Stiles turned after Tara. "And where are you going, you insane, psychotic, violent midget?"

Tara gave him a sarcastic look, still backing away. "I'm going to call the guy I don't ever like to ask help from and tell him to meet me at the loft."

"What guy?" Stacie asked.

"The guy we should've gone to before," Tara answered. "He's even more insane, psychotic and violent than I am."

"Oh, that guy," Ari told her.

"I'll, uh, I'll help with that guy," Scott told her. "Give you a ride."

"Uh..." Stacie trailed off. "I hate that guy."

Tara turned around, walking away. "Everybody hates that guy, Stacie."

Scott followed, smiling.

Gas Station - Outside

(Song:) Make a Shadow - Meg Myers

Lydia's Car pulled up to the same gas station that Kate had been at the night before.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Lydia's Car

Lydia was sitting in the driver's seat.

Adriana was sitting in the passenger seat.

Kira was sitting in the backseat. "Scott and Tara are going to find Peter. And Ari's coming to meet us, and hopefully Angel, so we can meet Stiles, Stacie and Natalie at Scott's house."

"That sounds like a horrible plan," Adriana told them. "But we've had worse. Like in Mexico?"

"About that, Adriana," Kira told her. "Remember how we were in the club, and we were all in the room, locked away, when Ari and Scott were being hurt and Tara was dying?"

"Vividly," Lydia answered.

"I do," Adriana told them nonchalantly. "I felt it."

"I know," Kira told them. "I guess what I'm trying to say is... I felt so weak, and useless, like I couldn't do anything to help them." She looked at Adriana. "Or help you, or Stacie, Adriana."

"There's nothing you could've done," Lydia told her. "I know that. Just like Scott, Ari, Stacie, Tara and Adriana know."

"What I'm wondering is why you're here hanging out with us and not with Angel," Adriana told her.

"Uh, Angel got detention at school," Kira answered. "And I'm supposed to go home right after school, which is why I asked you for the ride. Um, my mom still doesn't trust Angel, and she doesn't want me to trust Angel."

"You mean that she doesn't want you around Angel," Lydia told her.

Kira sighed, nodding, looking down. "Yeah. I've been trying to get Angel off the drugs, you know. The pills, the smoking, the... everything. I know it's why Angel pushes me away sometimes. Angel gets annoyed. Like Angel thinks that I'm judging. And that I don't understand with what happened to Angel's parents."

"Angel thinks that drinking and drugs is going to help her through becoming an orphan," Lydia told her. "And suddenly finding out that Angel's a supernatural creature of unknown origin, but it's not. Sometimes, you can't help people like Angel, Kira. Sometimes you just have to let the people you care about destroy themselves before they're ready to be helped."

"If you're worried about feeling like a weak, useless victim again, just remember, you're Kira freaking Yukimura, a katana-wielding, badass Kitsune," Adriana told her. Kira chuckled. "And if you're worried about what your mother thinks about you and Angel, just remember that we won't judge. You like her, Kira. And Angel likes you. Don't let your mother come between you. And even if you are helping Angel, don't push too hard. Angel will spiral, but she'll come around."

Kira nodded, looking down.

Lydia opened the car door, getting out, looking at Adriana. "Adriana... Grab a card from the visor so we can fill up. Adri, it's Beacon Hills Credit Union."

Adriana opened the visor, seeing many upon many credit cards, looking for the right one. "Does this many cards mean you have good credit or bad?" She looked at the gas meter, seeing that the pointer was pointing at the F. "Hey, it looks like you have... a full tank."

(Song Ends)

"Adriana, why did she bring us to a gas station?" Kira asked.

"Probably a Banshee thing," Adriana answered, unbuckling her seat belt, getting out. "Lyd?"

¤•¤°¤•¤

Outside

Adriana and Kira got out of the car, walking toward where Lydia was standing at the side of the building next to the bathroom.

"Lydia?" Kira asked. "Adriana?"

A breeze blew their way, blowing back Adriana's hair.

Adriana caught a familiar scent, holding out a hand to stop Kira. "Stop."

Adriana sighed, walking toward Lydia, standing next to her, turning to look at the frenzied attack of the gas attendant.

Kira stood next to them, but she didn't see it yet. "Are you guys okay? Lydia? Adriana?"

Adriana looked at her. "Don't look." Kira looked at it anyway, gasping. There was blood all over the walls, and body parts all over the walls, the body itself shredded beyond recognition. Kira looked away. Adriana tilted her head barely. "Told you not to look."

Night - Hale Loft Building - Outside

Scott and Tara drove up to the loft, over the miniature bridge, stopping the dirt bike next to Tara's Camara, in front of Malia, taking off the helmets, getting off.

"What are you doing here?" Scott asked.

"I heard you were coming to talk to Peter," Malia answered. "And since Ari, Adriana and Angel tell me he's basically Satan in a V-neck, I figured you shouldn't be alone."

Tara took a few steps forward. "We both can handle my uncle."

"You both can handle him better with me," Malia replied, turning around, walking ahead of them.

Tara looked at Scott.

Scott awkwardly shook his head.

Tara sighed, following Malia.

Scott was nervous with Tara and Malia and Peter all being in one room together because of the earlier conversation he had had with Stiles, following them.

¤•¤°¤•¤

McCall House - Foyer

Natalie walked downstairs.

Raphael stopped her. "Hey, Natalie. Where are you going?"

"Um, to Ari and Adriana's," Natalie told him. "Angel called in on a friend emergency, so I'm meeting Angel at Ari and Adriana's, so..."

"Did you forget about dinner?" Raphael asked. Natalie took a deep breath of surprise, pressing her lips together. "I'm gonna take that as a yes. Have a seat, Natalie. I'm sure Angel, Ari and Adriana will understand. Unless they want to come over."

"Uh, actually, since the way you grilled Adriana about her disappearance, she and Ari don't like you much," Natalie told him. "And Angel doesn't care. No offense. But don't take Angel not caring personal. Angel doesn't like to get too attached since... you know, after Angel's parents passed."

"Then Angel, Ari and Adriana have to wait for another time," Raphael replied. "We made a deal, Natalie."

¤•¤°¤•¤

Kitchen

Stiles, Stacie and Young Derek walked in through the backdoor.

Stiles looked at Young Derek. "We're going to wait here for Scott and Tara. We're going to sit quietly. We're not going to call or talk to anyone."

"Do I talk to you?" Young Derek asked.

"No," Stiles answered.

"Fine," Young Derek told him.

"Good," Stiles told him.

Young Derek looked at Stacie. "Do I talk to Stacie?"

"No, no way," Stiles told him, stepping between Young Derek and Stacie. "You stay away from Stacie, 'cause her brother would kick your ass." He narrowed his eyes. "You know what? I wouldn't even look at her."

Stacie rolled her eyes.

Young Derek looked at Stacie. "He's your brother, isn't he?"

Stacie nodded. "Annoyingly so." Natalie walked in. "Oh, hey, Natalie." Stacie looked at Young Derek. "Natalie's like you. Natalie's the only one with gold eyes around here. Don't talk to Stiles. He'll only piss you off. It's something he's very good at. You can talk to Natalie, though."

"Okay," Young Derek told them, looking away. Raphael walked in from behind Natalie. Young Derek pointed at Raphael. "Who's going to talk to him?"

Stacie looked at Raphael. "Ah! Are you getting taller?"

"What are you guys doing here?" Raphael asked.

"We're waiting for Scott and--" Young Derek started.

Stiles cut him off. "Nope, just Scott, just Scott."

"Yeah, so am I," Raphael told them. He gestured to Natalie. "The three of us are supposed to have dinner." Natalie made a face he didn't see, looking away. "I brought extra. You guys hungry?"

"Yeah," Young Derek answered the same time Stiles told him, "No, we're not hungry."

"No, I'm starving," Young Derek told them.

"None of us are hungry," Stiles told them. "Thanks, though."

"Okay, well  if you're not hungry, Stiles, Stacie and your friend can still eat with us," Raphael told him. "Isn't that right, Natalie?" Natalie rolled her eyes but didn't let him see. Raphael looked at Young Derek. "What's your name?"

Young Derek and Stacie opened their mouths to answer with the truth.

Stiles cut them off with a lie. "Miguel." He stuttered, putting a hand on Young Derek's shoulder. "Our cousin Miguel. His sister, our cousin Maya, should be here soon with Scott. They're from Mexico. So..."

Raphael started to speak Spanish.

"Oh, my God," Stacie told them.

Young Derek started to speak Spanish.

"Fantastic," Raphael told them. "Egg roll?"

Young Derek smiled. "Hell, yeah."

Young Derek walked up to Raphael, both starting to dig through the brown paper bag.

Natalie gave Stacie and Stiles a look.

Stiles shook his head.

Stacie laughed nervously.

"Shrimp fried rice or pork fried rice?" Raphael asked.

"Shrimp fried rice," Young Derek answered.

"Beef or broc?" Raphael asked.

"Fantastic," Natalie told them. Stacie, Stiles and Natalie walked closer. "Egg roll."

¤•¤°¤•¤

Hale Loft - Living Room

Malia, Scott and Tara walked in.

Tara looked at Scott. "What's wrong with you?"

"Nothing," Scott told her.

"Your heart's pounding like crazy," Tara told him. "You want to try the lie again?"

"Maybe he's just nervous," Malia told her.

Peter was sitting on the couch, looking at a book in his hands. "Or maybe he's just bad at introductions." He looked at Tara. "You tell me to meet here awhile ago and you're just now getting home? Is there a reason why, Tara?"

"You have no idea what happened to her, do you?" Malia asked. "Do you even care?"

Peter looked at her. "And who might you be?"

"Peter..." Scott trailed off. "This is Malia."

The book fell out of Peter's hands.

Peter slowly stood, looking at Malia. "Beautiful eyes. Did you get them from your father?"

Malia gave him a weird look. "Mother."

"Interesting," Peter told her. Tara looked from Malia to Peter. "Anyway, I'm sure they've told you a lot about me."

"The homicidal killing spree came up," Malia told him.

"Well, we're all works in progress," Peter told them.

"Well, when you 'progress' to your next killing spree, why don't you try and make sure they all stay dead?" Tara asked.

Peter looked at Tara. "What is that  supposed to mean?"

"What do you know about people being turned by a scratch?" Scott asked.

"Did you scratch someone, Scott?" Peter asked. Scott shook his head. "Don't worry about it. The claws have to go pretty deep."

"But it's possible," Tara told them, stressing the words a little bit to get Peter to see what they were talking about, slowly walking toward him. "Like if you clawed out someone's throat."

Peter nodded in acknowledgement, looking at Malia and Scott, gesturing to Tara. "Well, yeah, Tara's right, it's possible. It's also beyond rare. We're talking one in a..." Tara leaned her head forward, waiting for him to get it. Peter finally figured out who they were talking about, looking away in anger. "Million."

¤•¤°¤•¤

McCall House - Kitchen

Stiles, Stacie, Natalie, Young Derek and Raphael were sitting at the table, eating.

"So, uh, Miguel..." Raphael trailed off. "How old is your sister Maya?"

"17," Stacie answered before Young Derek could. "But in all honesty, she looks like an eight-year-old. Really short. Midget, even, somewhat. Insane... psychotic... temperamental... violent... I should stop talking now."

Young Derek gave Stacie a weird but amused look.

"What did you say your last name was?" Raphael asked.

"Uh, it's Juarez," Stiles told him. "Cinqua... Tiago."

"That's, uh, a mouthful," Raphael told them. "How do you spell that?"

Stacie, Natalie and Young Derek looked at Stiles.

Stiles looked at Raphael. "Phonetically."

Young Derek was looking at Raphael's FBI badge. "Mr. McCall, you're an FBI Agent?"

"He's low level," Stiles told him. "Very low level. He doesn't even have a voice."

"So do you investigate murders?" Young Derek asked.

"Sometimes," Raphael answered. "When it's a Federal crime."

"What about fires?" Young Derek asked.

Stacie put an elbow on the table, putting her hand to her head.

Natalie chuckled nervously, trying to change the subject. "Oh, my God, I wonder where Scott and Maya are. Shouldn't Maya and Scott be here by now? We should call Scaya."

"What kind of fires are you talking about?" Raphael asked.

Stacie laughed a nervous laugh.

"Do you know anything about the Hale family?" Young Derek asked.

Stiles, Stacie and Natalie looked at each other nervously.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Hale Loft - Living Room

Peter was facing away from Scott, Tara and Malia. "Can't someone in this town stay dead?"

"I think they were hoping you would," Malia told him.

"Do you have any idea why Kate would turn Derek into a teenager again?" Tara asked.

"What color were his eyes?" Peter asked.

"Blue," Tara answered. "After Paige."

"Which could mean around the time he first met Kate," Peter told them.

"Derek and Kate knew each other?" Scott asked.

"Biblically," Peter answered, turning to face them.

"Yeah, that was a nice little surprise for me, too," Tara told them.

"That's right, Scott," Peter told him. "You weren't the first wolf to climb into a hunter's bed before turning to another wolf. Isn't that right, Tara?"

Peter looked at Tara as he finished.

Tara glared at him in annoyance.

Scott looked down.

Tara looked at him somberly.

Peter looked between Scott and Tara knowingly in amusement, critically.

McCall House - Scott's Room

Young Derek pushed Stiles face first against the door.

"Okay, we didn't lie," Stiles told him. "We omitted certain truths. Vital truths now that I think about it."

Stacie and Natalie were standing behind Young Derek.

"I told you we should've told him, Stiles," Stacie told him. "I wanted to tell him, you should've listened to me. Did you ever notice when people don't listen, things go bad? Very bad, in fact. Disastrous bad."

"Stacie, you're not helping," Natalie told her, pulling Young Derek away from Stiles.

Young Derek looked at Stacie. "This is what you were talking about at the station, having any guilt whatsoever?"

Stacie nodded. "How much of that conversation did you overhear?"

Young Derek didn't answer, looking at Stiles. "I don't want to talk to you." He looked at Natalie. "I don't even know you, Natalie. Leave."

"Well, that's too bad, dude, 'cause you're not gonna talk to my sister alone," Stiles told him, grabbing Stacie's arm, pulling her behind him next to the door.

"Fine," Young Derek told them. Stacie pushed Stiles off of her to get him to let her go. "I want to talk to my sister. I'll talk to Tara."

"Okay," Natalie told him, pulling the door open. "I'm going to get her. My phone's downstairs. Going to call her real quick. You stay here, just don't move, okay? Don't move."

Natalie walked out of the room, down the hall.

Stiles started to pull Stacie with them.

Stacie looked back at Young Derek in the room. "Don't..." He was still there. "I thought you..."

Stiles' hand grabbed Stacie's arm, pulling her out of the view of the door, making her stumble, pulling her after them.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Hale Loft - Living Room

Scott, Tara, Malia and Peter were talking.

"Okay, Derek went to the site of the house thinking it was still there, right?" Peter asked.

"Yeah," Tara answered. "He thought I was an eight year old with gold eyes, which means he doesn't remember the fire or what I did to Lucy."

"What you did for Lucy," Peter corrected. "But if he doesn't remember the fire, then he doesn't remember that it was Kate that set it."

"So what does that mean?" Malia asked.

"Kate didn't just take him back to being a teenager," Peter answered. "She took him back to the age where he still knew her. Where he still trusted her."

¤•¤°¤•¤

McCall House - Scott's Room

Young Derek was sitting on Scott's bed.

Kate walked in.

Young Derek stood, looking at Kate in confusion. "Kate?"

Kate leaned against the doorway. "Hey, handsome. Been a long time." She walked closer, chuckling. "Longer than you think."

¤•¤°¤•¤

Hallway

Natalie and Stacie walked upstairs, toward Scott's room.

Natalie was on the phone. "No, he's in Scott's bedroom, he'll be totally fine. Believe it or not, Stiles said he's starting to miss the old Derek. So, if you actually think Kate's coming to find him..."

They reached the doorway to Scott's room, looking inside.

Kate was climbing out of Scott's window.

Young Derek was already gone.

Stacie froze when she saw Kate, having to relive the hallucinations she and Allison had suffered from 3.13 Anchors and 3.14 More Bad Than Good.

Kate smirked, jumping to the ground outside. (slow motion)

"Stacie?" Natalie asked. (echoing). Stacie didn't answer. Natalie turned her attention back to the phone. "You might be right."

Hale Loft - Living Room

Tara and Peter jogged toward the door.

Scott and Malia hesitated.

"Wait," Scott told them.

"For what?" Tara asked, turning to face them. "Kate's out there twisting her way into Derek's head yet again. We need to find her."

"All we need's a scent," Malia told them.

Scott walked closer. "That could take hours. If we want to get ahead of her, we need to figure out where she's going."

"Not to underestimate my own cognitive faculties, but we're not exactly a brain trust of geniuses here," Peter told them.

Scott held up his phone. "Then maybe we should call a couple."

¤•¤°¤•¤

Gas Station - Bathroom

Ari, Lydia, Adriana and Kira were looking over the damage of the bathroom.

Ari held her phone on speaker. "We called Stilinski. They're on their way."

Lydia cleared her throat, taking pictures of the crime scene with her own phone. "To be honest, I have a 4.0 in AP Biology, and there are parts of the human anatomy I have never seen before on these walls."

Ari and Adriana spoke together. "I have."

"For very different reasons, Adriana," Ari told her.

"Yeah, you have, like, a 5.0 in everything, Ari, and I have a very bad past I'm not proud of," Adriana told her.

Malia's voice was on the other line."Why would she kill a gas station attendant?"

"I don't think she could help it," Adriana told them. "This was done in a frenzy. It's not a murder. It's a symptom."

Scott, Tara, Malia and Peter were still in the loft.

"You would know the difference between the two, Adriana, wouldn't you?" Peter asked tauntingly.

Scott closed his eyes, sighing.

Tara looked at Peter in annoyance, shaking her head.

"I wouldn't be the only one, would I?" Adriana replied.

"A symptom of what?" Scott asked.

"She can't control the shift," Adriana answered. "It's the same thing that happened to me when I was first turned, even after I became an Alpha, because the darkness inside me was so strong that I couldn't control it and lashed out."

"Derek said he had the same issue on the full moon," Ari told them. "That he was still learning."

"Kate's still learning?" Malia asked.

"She wants to learn," Tara told them.

"So she wants Derek to teach her?" Malia asked.

"No," Tara answered. Tara and Peter looked at each other in realization. "She wants the Triskelion."

Beacon Hills High School - Tunnels

Angel was skating down the tunnels of the school on her roller blades, skating around to have fun after the detention that she had had after school, continuing to skate along.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Elsewhere

Kate and Young Derek were on the main lawn of the school, walking toward the high school sign.

Young Derek stopped walking.

Kate turned to face him. "What's wrong?"

"I don't know about this," Young Derek told her. "I'm not supposed to show the vault to anyone outside my family."

"Come on, we talked about this," Kate told him, pulling him along.

"Yeah, but how do you even know?" Young Derek asked.

Kate turned to face him. "Because you told me. Don't you remember?" Young Derek shook his head. "Tell me if you remember this." Kate kissed Young Derek, seducing him. "We get inside the vault. We get the Triskelion. And then everything goes back to normal."

"That's all you want?" Young Derek asked.

Kate nodded. "That's all we need. But right now, we have to get inside that vault."

They walked toward the sign.

"Over here," Young Derek told her.

"Why would your family build a vault under a high school?" Kate asked.

"The vault was here first," Young Derek answered, flicking his claws out, putting them into key holes on the side of the sign, turning it like a combination lock.

The sign rotated over the ground to reveal and opening underground.

Kate smirked.

They walked downstairs.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Hale Vault

Kate and Young Derek walked in.

Young Derek started to look for the Triskelion.

Kate saw a safe with a symbol on its cover.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Outside

Ari arrived to the school on her motorcycle, getting off, running up to Peter, Tara, Malia and Scott. She stopped when she sensed something.

"Did you catch a scent?" Scott asked.

"It's the same scent," Tara told them. She looked behind them. "The same one as Mexico."

"What is she talking about?" Peter asked.

"One of them came after us in the Church ruins," Tara explained.

"And one on the road," Malia added. "They couldn't have followed us here."

"But they could've been brought," Ari told them. "By Kate."

The same thing we heard growling in the Church ruins growled at them now.

"Oh, I've heard that sound before," Peter told them. He looked at Tara, who was higher on the steps. "You're faster than any of us, get to the vault, help your brother." Tara didn't answer. "Now!"

Tara hesitated.

Scott looked at Tara, nodding. "It's okay."

Tara exhaled, turning around, running toward the vault.

Peter looked at Scott, Malia and Ari. "Did it have an animal skull? A human wearing a skull over its face?"

"I think so," Malia answered.

"What are they?" Scott asked.

Peter looked behind Malia and Ari. "Berserkers." They turned to see a creature, with an animal skull over its face, razor-blade like shoulder blades, metal claws jutting out from its fists, wearing nothing but animal skins. Ari took a step forward as if to go fight it. Peter grabbed her arm. "Are you as crazy as Tara is?"

"There's just one of them," Ari told them.

"And that means we have a chance," Peter told them.

"To beat him?" Ari asked.

"To survive," Peter answered.

"Is this why you sent Tara away?" Scott asked.

Peter slowly nodded, backing away up the stairs. "Because she is crazy enough to fight one of those. But I'm not. And you shouldn't be either."

Peter turned around, running up the rest of the stairs, taking off.

Tunnels

Angel was skating around in the tunnels.

Another Berserker walked toward Angel.

Angel looked at the creature in shock, backing away on her roller skates.

The Berserker ran closer.

Angel turned around, skating away from the Berserker as fast as she could as it chased her. (slow motion)

Hale Vault

Young Derek was searching for the Triskelion, finding a box, turning around to see that Kate was still looking at the safe. "Not that."

Young Derek walked closer with the box, opening it to show Kate the Triskelion inside.

Outside

Angel was still skating as fast as she could away from the Berserker. Her eyes widened as she came to a stop, holding out her arms for balance at the abrupt halt so she didn't fall. (slow motion)

The other Berserker was in front of her. It walked toward Angel.

Angel skated away, backing away from them toward the stairs.

The Berserkers were cornering her.

Scott, Malia and Ari ran closer.

"Angel!" Ari told her.

"Ari, it's both of them," Angel told her. "They're both here."

"Angel, get upstairs," Scott told her. "We'll hold them off."

Angel ran up the stairs with her skates on.

Berserker 1 jumped onto the stairs in front of Angel, making her stop.

Berserker 2 stood behind her.

Scott, Malia and Ari jumped up onto the stairs next to Angel, facing the Berserkers. "Angel!"

Hale Vault

Kate held the Triskelion in her hand. "This is it? You're sure?"

"Yeah," Young Derek answered.

"It doesn't look like much," Kate told him.

Tara walked in. "That's 'cause it isn't." Kate and Young Derek looked at them. "Quite the elaborate scheme you have here, Kate. Two countries, Aztec temples, Derek returned to a teenager. One that trusted you. One that loved you." Kate looked from Tara to Young Derek nervously, like she knew she was instantly losing his trust. Tara looked at Kate. "Instead of a teenage girl that will never be the psychotic, sociopathic bitch you are now and always have been."

Kate glared at Tara.

Peter walked in. "All this complication just to gain access to our vault. Just to get your hands on that little piece of junk. Turn it over. Go ahead. There's a scrape on the back where it used to say 'Made in China'."

"You're lying," Kate told him.

"I admit, I have a tendency to exaggerate things," Peter told her. "But in this case, the truth is so much more fun. Oh, I'm sorry, sweetheart, that little pendant is just a physical object to focus on. It's training wheels. Talia used it to teach Laura. I tried to use it to teach Derek." He looked at Tara. "Laura wanted to use it to teach Tara, but Tara wasn't fond of the Triskelion."

They all heard the loud roar from Scott.

Tara looked over her shoulder to look at the door. She looked at Peter in suspicion. "What did you do?" Peter didn't answer. Tara raised her voice. "What did you do?"

Outside - Balcony

Ari jumped onto the railing, leaping over the Berserker behind them, landing on the railing behind him. She looked up, standing, slashing into Berserker 1's shoulder, making him back into Scott.

Angel spun around to kick her roller skates into Berserker 2, chipping away at a bone on his chest. Malia slashed into its stomach, but the bones protected him.

Ari slashed into Berserker 1, spinning to kick him back. Berserker 1 grabbed her leg, throwing Ari over the stairs, making her land next to Malia, Angel and Berserker 2. Ari had a scrape on her chin, bleeding, but was already healing.

Berserker 1 took Scott by the head, hitting it twice against a pillar, holding his head there.

Ari started to stand.

Berserker 2 slashed into Angel's leg, grabbing her, turning around, throwing her into the grating. Malia slashed into him. Berserker 2 slashed into her stomach, throwing Malia aside, making her fall.

Hale Vault

Tara ran out, leaving.

"Tara!" Peter told her.

Kate looked at Young Derek, holding up the Triskelion. "Is this real? Tell me if this is real."

"Didn't you hear that?" Young Derek asked. "That was Scott. He's in trouble. Tara's going after him. I have to--"

"Tell me!" Kate told him angrily.

"I don't know," Young Derek told her. "And I don't care! I have to go after Tara."

Young Derek ran out, leaving.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Balcony

Ari looked from where Berserker 1 had Scott against the pillar to where Berserker 2 stood over Angel and Malia. She kicked Berserker 2 with as much strength as she could, making it back away from Angel and Malia. She ran toward Berserker 2, kicking it with both legs, spinning to kick him both times, making him back away even further, landing on the ground. Berserker 2 tried to slash at her head. Ari ducked, grabbing him by the animal skull, turning around, pushing him down the stairs into Berserker 1, making him let go of Scott and them both fall into the railing of the stairs.

The Berserkers looked up at Ari, walking closer. Ari punched Berserker 1, slashing into Berserker 2.

Berserker 1 pushed Ari back into the grating, holding her still as Berserker 2 slashed into her side so hard and so forceful they could hear Ari's ribs breaking, drawing blood, making Ari fall to the ground. (Slow motion)

Elsewhere

Lydia, Natalie, Stacie and Stiles ran up to the school. Stacie was holding her crossbow. Stiles was holding his baseball bat.

Stacie stopped running, holding a hand to her side, groaning a scream of pain, starting to fall. (slow motion)

Natalie caught Stacie before she fell, keeping her standing.

"Stacie?" Stiles asked. "It's Scott and Ari? Where are they?"

"Stairs," Stacie answered, breathing heavily.

Natalie looked at Stiles. "And you seriously need to find something better than a baseball bat."

"I don't think Stacie's crossbow would work against those things, Natalie," Stiles replied.

"Well, Stacie and Natalie can definitely try," Lydia told them.

"Thank you," Natalie told her.

"You're welcome, Natalie," Lydia told her.

"Oh, no, you're not facing those things, Stacie," Stiles told her. "You're coming with us. Natalie, help me."

Lydia, Natalie and Stiles helped Stacie toward the Hale Vault.

Balcony

Berserker 1 threw Angel against the grating, making her fall to the ground and land hard.

Angel was holding her slashed leg in pain.

Berserker 1 stalked toward Malia.

Malia slid back on the ground, holding her slashed side.

Berserker 2 threw Scott over his head, over Ari on the stairs, past Beserker 1, making him land next to Malia and Angel. They all slid away.  (slow motion)

Ari used the grating to pull herself up, holding both hands to the grating, kicking both Berserkers back with both feet, forcing them to back away. (slow motion)

Berserker 2 turned to Ari, grabbing her, throwing her toward Malia, Angel and Scott, making her land next to Scott.

Angel heard running footsteps, looking behind them.

Kira ran closer with her katana, jumping over them, landing in front of Berserkers, slicing the sword through the air. (slow motion)

Kira swung twice, making them back away. She spun around, jumping, spinning again, still maneuvering the sword, looking back at Angel, Malia, Scott and Ari, smiling.

"Kira!" Angel screamed in warning.

Berserker 1 made Kira drop the katana, hitting her back so far she slid to the other side of Angel.

Adriana jumped up onto the railing, jumping toward the Berserkers, grabbing Berserker 1's head, landing, making him fall. (slow motion).

Adriana rolled away from him, standing.

Young Derek and Tara ran closer on the other side of them.

Tara slowed to a stop in front of Young Derek. "Remember how Peter taught you?"

"Anger," Young Derek answered. "I just need help to start angry."

"Then I'll help you stay angry," Tara told him.

Young Derek slashed toward Berserker 2. Berserker 2 slashed toward Tara. Tara ducked.

Berserker 1 turned to Adriana, standing, slashing toward her.

Adriana back-bended into an arch, putting her hands on the ground, flipping out of it, kicking Berserker 2 behind her, twirling in the air, landing on her feet. (slow motion)

The Berserkers surrounded Tara, Young Derek and Adriana. Tara and Adriana ducked. Young Derek put his hands on the ground, spinning to kick both of the Berserkers, landing on his feet. Tara and Adriana stood, slashing at the Berserkers.

Kira, Angel, Malia, Scott and Ari were watching, severely impressed.

Hale Vault

Peter and Kate were circling each other.

"Derek gave up on it back when he learned another way to control the shift," Peter told her. "When I taught him. I taught him to use emotion. To use anger."

Now

Night - Beacon Hills High School - Underground Hale Vault

Peter and Kate were still circling around each other.

"So you want to learn to control it?" Peter asked tauntingly. "You want to get angry, Kate? Let's get angry!"

Peter let his claws and canines grow, letting his eyes glow blue, growling.

Kate let her claws and canines grow, letting her eyes glow green.

Several smoke grenades were tossed down the stairs into the vault, going off, releasing the fog into the air completely with a flash, blinding them momentarily and making it hard for them to breathe, making them fall.

Balcony

Kira, Angel, Malia, Scott and Ari were watching the fight while they healed.

Adriana flipped through the air horizontally, kicking Berserker 1 back, slashing toward it as she landed.

Young Derek slashed at Berserker 2 from behind. Berserker 2 turned to push him to the ground.

Berserker 1 pushed Tara against the lockers.

"I can't!" Young Derek told them.

"Yes, you can!" Tara told him. Young Derek tried to shift, his face changing, blurring, almost like he was trying to change back. "Focus on it. Use it." Berserker 2 pushed Adriana into the grating. Berserker 1 tried to close in on Tara. Tara moved out of the way, pushing away from the lockers, making it ram into them with a loud bang. Berserker 2 slashed into Adriana's arm, making her groan in pain. Adriana used her other arm to grab the top of the grating, spinning around, kicking it back in a circle to where she was in the place he had been a second ago, and it was against the grating. Berserker 1 hit Young Derek in the back, making him fall to the ground. Young Derek looked like older Derek for a second as he tried to shift. "It's working." Berserker 1 slashed toward Tara. Tara ducked underneath, sliding against the concrete, touching her hand to the ground. "Use all of the rage and hatred you need to survive." Tara gave Adriana a pointed look as she used her quote. "To stay strong, you have to stay angry."

Tara stood.

Berserker 2 tried to slash into Tara. Adriana caught his wrist, using it to spin out of under him, standing behind him when she stopped, like a twirl in a slow dance, still holding his arm tightly with both arms.

Young Derek looked at Berserker 1, standing, kicking him back.

Berserker 2 raised his arm to slash toward Adriana. Tara caught his other arm. Tara and Adriana turned around, pushing him with all the strength they both had toward Berserker 1, making them both stumble back into the grating.

Kira, Angel, Malia, Scott and Ari were watching, breathing heavily, almost healed, except for Angel, who didn't seem to be healing.

Hale Vault

Peter was still trying to recover.

A man in black walked past, toward the safe, reaching inside to pull out a briefcase, backing away.

Peter tried to stop him, but was momentarily too weak to. "Wait! Wait! No!"

The man walked out, leaving.

Peter crawled toward the safe, looking around in shock.

Balcony

Malia, Scott and Ari were healed enough to stand.

Kira helped Angel stand, keeping her standing. Angel held onto her arms so that her roller blades didn't make her slip while her leg was injured.

Adriana looked at them from other her shoulder breathlessly.

Derek was standing, with his back to the others, looking in the direction the Berserkers had run away in.

Tara took a step closer to her brother. "Derek?"

Derek slowly turned to face them, looking up, letting his eyes glow gold.

Hale Vault

Lydia, Stiles, Stacie and Natalie walked into the vault.

Peter was rummaging through the safe. "It was never... never about the Triskelion. They took it, took it while I was blinded..."

"Took what?" Lydia asked.

"Bonds," Peter answered. "Bearer bonds and they took them all."

"Bearer bonds?" Stiles repeated. "Hold on. Are you saying you got robbed?"

Peter looked at them. "This was a heist. Somebody planned this."

"How much did they take?" Natalie asked.

"200," Peter answered.

"Thousand?" Stacie asked.

Peter looked at the safe. "Million."
