chapter 1 - The Dark Moon

From 3.14 "More Bad Than Good", in the woods at the ravine, Coyote!Malia growled.
Scott: (voice over) "Previously on Worlds Colliding (Teen Wolf)"
From 3.14 "More Bad Than Good", in the school hallway, Stiles, Stacie and Sheriff Stilinski were talking.
"Are you sure that this is a girl and not an animal?" Sheriff asked.
From 3.13 "Anchors", in the woods, Scott McCall let his eyes glow red, looking at Coyote!Malia. "Malia?"
From 3.14 "More Bad Than Good", in the woods at the ravine, Adriana Martin roared at Coyote!Malia.
Dr. Alan Deaton: (voice over from 3.14 More Bad Than Good) "This is a Werecoyote."
Coyote!Malia turned into Malia Tate.
From 3.20 "Echo House", in the basement of Eichen House, Malia and Stiles kissed.
"Was that your first kiss?" Stiles asked.
Malia nodded.
From 3.19 "Letharia Vulpina", in Adriana's car, Adriana was in the driver's seat.
Lydia Martin was in the passenger seat.
Allison Argent and Natalie Lahey were in the backseat.
Adriana held out her phone to show them the picture of Peter.
Lydia held her phone next to Adriana to show Malia's picture next to Peter.
"Peter and Malia?" Allison asked.
"Father and daughter," Natalie answered.
From 3.16 "Illuminated", in the loft at the black light party, Angel Fain and Kira Yukimura were sitting on the spiral staircase.
Angel was wearing her black light party outfit, complete with a wig. She was smoking a joint, taking a drag, releasing the smoke into the air.
"I'm not judging," Kira told her. "I'm just worried."
"You don't have to be," Angel told her. "I'm not an alcoholic, and I'm not a drug addict. I just... it helps me move on."
"But it's not helping you move on," Kira told her. "It's just helping you push it away."
Angel took the wig off. "I do like you."
"So, you like girls, and guys?" Kira asked.
Angel nodded. "Yeah. Do you like me?"
Kira looked at her, nodding. They looked at each other, hesitating, slowly starting to kiss.
From 3.17 "Silverfinger", in the school library, Kira and Angel were sitting across from each other at the table.
Angel showed her her mother's book. "Have you ever heard of something called a Kitsune?"
From 3.17 "Silverfinger", in the loft, Aiden put Angel's hand up to the barrier of Mountain Ash, making it repel against her and her gasp in pain.
Angel: (voice over from 3.17 Silverfinger) "You think I'm something supernatural?"
Angel looked at Derek in annoyance. "So, how do I figure out what I am if I can't do anything to prove what I am?"
From 3.14 "More Bad Than Good", in the torture basement, Braedan the mercenary looked over her shoulder.
Peter, Derek and Tara Hale were chained to the wall.
Braedan the mercenary looked toward Peter, Derek and Tara with heavy breathing, smirking. She had thick scars on her face and neck from her fight with the Alpha Pack. She walked closer to them, trailing her eyes over shirtless Peter and Derek.
Tara knew there was a reason she recognized her. "You're the one who saved Isaac and warned Arielle."
"I'm the one who was hired to save Isaac and warn Arielle," Braedan answered.
From 3.09 "The Girl Who Knew Too Much", in Jennifer's classroom, Lydia Martin was tied to the chair.
Jennifer Blade stood next to her. "You have no idea what you are, do you? A Banshee."
From 3.15 "Galvanize", outside the school, Stiles, Stacie and Sheriff were talking.
"Basically, it means that she can sense when someone's close to death," Stiles told him.
From 3.11 "Alpha Pact", in the back of the clinic, Stacie was still standing at the end of the two tubs in the middle of the four.
Allison Argent, Ari Martin, Stiles and Scott McCall slowly climbed into the waters of frozen ice. They were submerged into the water by Adriana, Isaac, Lydia and Deaton.
Stacie was suddenly in pain, nearly falling to her knees, holding herself standing between the two tubs on either side of her.
Derek: (voice over from 3.19 Letharia Vulpina) "The anchor is what brought back Scott, Stiles, Allison and Ari to life. They would have stayed dead if it wasn't for Stacie. So, if she dies..."
Stacie was breathing heavily as if she could feel what they felt now, raising her head to look up, looking confused and ready to break.
Chris: (voice over from 3.19 Letharia Vulpina) "Then they die, too."
From multiple chapters, Stacie could feel the pain that Scott, Allison, Ari, Stiles (and through Ari, Adriana) felt.
Deaton: (voice over from 3.13 Anchors) "You'll be able to feel any pain they feel."
Void!Stiles: (voice over from 3.22 De-Void) "But Ari feels the pain that Adri feels. So, when Adri gets hurt, you can feel it, too."
From 3.12 "Lunar Eclipse", in the back of the clinic, Adriana nodded, taking both Ethan and Aiden by the hand. She took a deep breath, giving them power. Dark gold veins trailed from her hands into theirs. Her eyes were glowing completely red. Beta blue was trying to push its way into the Alpha red. The blue and red swirled and changed, intertwining into one solid color that overruled. Her eyes were glowing completely purple.
Aiden: (voice over from 3.14 More Bad Than Good) "You're a half-Alpha, half-Beta half-breed."
From 3.12 "Lunar Eclipse", in the distillery, Deucalion took Ari by either of her arms, breaking them, making her groan in pain. It was almost like he was taking pain, although the veins that passed between them were gold, suggesting he was taking her power, making her grow weaker.
Ari's eyes were still glowing blue. Alpha red tried to push its way into her Beta blue. She had to fall to her knees weakly. The blue and the red in her eyes caved in on themselves, forming another color. The irises of her eyes glowed purple.
Adriana: (voice over from 3.07 Currents) "Stronger than any wolves."
From 3.16 "Illuminated", in the loft, Adriana and Ari let their eyes glow purple. Adriana's eyes glowed completely while only the irises of Ari's glowed. They growled, spinning in a same move on either side of a figure, raising their arms to crush in on either side of his head.
Ari: (voice over from 3.16 Illuminated) "We're stronger together."
From 3.12 "Lunar Eclipse", in the distillery, Scott pushed against the barrier of Mountain Ash. The potential deaths of everyone they loved and cared about was motivation enough for the glowing gold in his eyes to turn red. He pushed through the Mountain Ash, breaking through it.
Deaton: (voice over from 3.07 Currents) "A Beta can become an Alpha without having to steal or take that power. They call it a True Alpha."
Scott took a deep breath. "I'm an Alpha now."
From 3.23 "Insatiable", outside Oak Creek, An Oni ran toward Allison, running his sword through her stomach, making her gasp in pain and shock.
Scott was holding Allison in his arms.
Ari and Adriana stood next to them.
Isaac and Natalie knelt to the ground behind them.
Angel and Kira stood next to each other, in shock, holding hands.
"Allison," Scott whispered.
Allison's gloved hand fell to the ground.
From 3.15 "More Bad Than Good", in the basement, Peter, Derek and Tara were chained up to the wall.
A woman stood in front of them. "Where is the she-wolf?"
"We don't know any she-wolf," Tara told her.
From 1.04 "Magic Bullet", in Allison's room, Scott was holding the picture, pointing at Kate Argent. "Who's this?"
"That's my dad's sister, Kate," Allison answered.
From 3.24 "The Divine Move", in the loft, Derek was shot in the stomach, falling to his knees. "You're real."
Kate emerged from the smoke with the shotgun. "And if seeing me is a surprise, watch this."
Kate let her entire face turn blue, letting her lips turn black, letting her teeth turn into canines, and letting her eyes glow green, growling like a jaguar.

Day One
Day - Hale Loft - Living Room
Tara walked into the loft. She hesitated at the door, feeling as if something was wrong. "Derek?" No answer was given. Tara stepped forward. "Derek."
Tara slowly came to a stop, looking over the gold-colored bullet shells over the floor, slowly kneeling next to them. She picked up one, holding it front of her to look at the Mexican skull that had been etched into it. She looked up with recognition and anger in her eyes. Her eyes started to glow blue. She dropped the shell to the floor, letting the glow in her eyes fall, standing, walking toward the bag on the couch, picking it up, turning around, walking out of the loft angrily, letting the door slide closed.

Mexico
Unknown Location - Hallway
Tara walked through the hallway.
Lights lined the walls, which were painted red.
Tara looked through every room, every cell, careful to be quiet and not to get caught, but remaining alert and ready to fight all the same.
A Mexican male turned around the corner of the wall, stopping when he saw her, instantly recognizing her, drawing out his gun. "Tara. Tara Hale."
Tara caught his wrist, using her other arm to punch him in the face, grabbing his throat, turning around, throwing him into the wall on the other side of the hall, making him fall to the floor, walking away, leaving.
¤•¤°¤•¤
On the Road - Rental Car
Tara was driving an non-descript rental car down the dry, desert, dirt road of Mexico. She saw three other black cars in the road ahead blocking the way, slowing to a stop, sighing in annoyance. "Oh, great. Calaveras."
¤•¤°¤•¤
Outside
(Song:) Love Hurt Bleed - Gary Numan
Hunters were sitting in the windows of their cars, shooting their automatic guns at the car.
¤•¤°¤•¤
Rental Car
Tara lowered her body to the seat, turning slightly to kneel on the floor of the car, using the steering wheel and dashboard as a shield. The windshield shattered, bullets and glass falling over the seats and over her.
¤•¤°¤•¤
Outside
Tara kicked the car door open, rolling out of the car, kneeling to the road, using the door as a shield from the hunters firing to kill her.
The gunshots and bullets just stopped.
Tara looked from one side to the other, hearing the approaching footsteps of three hunters. She stood, gaining space away from the car for room to defend herself. Hunter 1 tried to punch Tara. Tara caught his arm, grabbing his shoulders, kneeing him in the stomach, grabbing his arm, using it to flip him to the ground, kicking him in the side, making him roll away. Hunter 2 approached her. Tara turned to face him, kicking him in the stomach, spinning around to kick him back with her other leg, making him fall into another car and land on the windshield, making the glass shatter. Hunter 3 threw a knife toward Tara's head to kill her. Tara leaned to the left, making the knife go past her head and into Hunter 4's leg, making him fall. Tara turned to Hunter 3, grabbing him by his head, turning around, throwing him into Hunter 5, making them both fall.
Hunter 6 aimed his high-powered, automatic gun at the rental car's gas tank behind Tara.
Tara followed his gaze, starting to run away from the car.
Hunter 6 shot the gas tank.
The car behind Tara exploded into flames, throwing Tara through the air. (Slow motion)
Tara landed badly on the dirt road, rolling uncontrollably over the ground, unable to stop until she rolled into the wheel of a hunter's car, with her back against the tire.
(Song Ends)
Severo stood over Tara, looking down on her with a smirk. "Very clever. Very impressive. Not enough, though. Stop fighting, Tara."
Tara looked up at him weakly, starting to push herself up from the ground, spitting out blood. "Only way I'm gonna stop fighting is if you kill me. I'm not dead yet."
"Who said anything about killing you?" Severo asked.
"Where's my brother?" Tara asked.
Severo smirked. "Why don't you tell me?"
"If I knew the answer to that, I wouldn't be here," Tara told him angrily, letting her eyes glow blue, growling, lunging toward him.
Severo pushed a stun gun into Tara's stomach, making her fall back down, striking her with the stun gun three more times just to make her fall unconscious.
The car continued to burn.
Severo spoke Spanish to the other hunters, looking at Tara's unconscious body. "Vamos a llevarla a su casa. [Let's take her home.]"
¤•¤°¤•¤
There was a black wolf with red eyes.
Scott looked up. He blinked. When he opened his eyes, they were glowing red.
Scott stood alone in a cloud of dust or smoke, hitting the ground. Tyler Posey.
Stiles stood at a translucent crime board, adding a few things. Dylan O'Brien.
There was a hand held high with a claw on each finger.
Stacie looked straight ahead, holding a crossbow in hand, holding it pointing up in front of her face, looking straight ahead. Zoey Deutch.
Ari and Adriana stood back to back. Ari looked to the left, holding her motorcycle helmet in her hands, the irises of her eyes glowing blue. Adriana looked to the right, tracing her double infinity tattoo on her wrist, her eyes glowing completely purple. There was water sprinkles everywhere as they both looked up. Katherine McNamara.
Scott and Tara kissed passionately, pulling away.
Tara stood with her back toward you, looking over her shoulder, black blood covering her skin, her body reflecting each other. Victoria Justice.
On the back of Tara's hand, a triskele appeared. The spirals were black. The tip of one spiral was Beta blue. The tip of one spiral was Beta gold. The tip of one spiral was Alpha red. The intersection point was purple.
Derek looked up, shirtless, his eyes closed, shifted, roaring. Dust was falling off of his body. Tyler Hoechlin.
On Derek's back, a triskele appeared.
Lydia's hair covered her face, her hands held in front of her. She tossed her head back to get it to fall behind her. Holland Roden.
Natalie sat in a chair, half turned, her left leg to the left side of the chair, her right leg in front of it, her left arm lying on the back of the chair. Her eyes glowed gold. Sasha Pieterse.
A double infinity sign tattoo appeared on Adriana's wrist.
A black wolf howled.
Malia was in the woods, her arms raised at her sides. Shelley Hennig.
Kira was in a fighting stance, holding her katana sword raised ready. Arden Cho.
Angel stood within fire, water and electricity, air blowing through her hair. She had her arms raised to her sides as if taking flight. Her eyes were glowing a dark, fiery gold. Ginny Gardner.
On Scott's arm, two bands appeared, the top band thicker than the other.
The black blood pulled away from Tara's body, almost as it was never there.
Scott stared ahead. His eyes glowed red. He tilted his head toward his chest.

Two Months Later
Mexico
Day Two
Morning - Street
A red taxi drove past Lydia, Stacie and Stiles. They walked along.
"This doesn't seem so bad," Stacie told them.
"It's not the town, it's the plan," Lydia told her.
"What's wrong with the plan?" Stacie asked innocently.
"Stacie," Stiles told her in a no-joke voice.
"This could be the stupidest plan we've ever come up with," Lydia told them. She looked at them. "You're both aware of that, right, Stacie?"
"I'm aware it's not our best," Stacie told them.
"Stacie, can we just turn around and go home and leave them for dead?" Stiles asked. "Please?"
"That question is so stupid it doesn't even deserve an answer," Stacie told him. "And you know Scott's gonna say the same thing."
"Come on, Stacie," Stiles complained.
"We're not leaving without them," Stacie told them, walking forward with determination.
Stiles and Lydia followed her.
"We are going to die, Stacie," Lydia told her.
"Are you saying that as a Banshee or are you just being pessimistic?" Stacie asked.
"I'm saying it as a person who doesn't want to die," Lydia answered.
"Okay," Stacie told her. "Then would you just mind restricting any talk of death to actual Banshee predictions?"
Lydia looked at Stacie. "This plan is stupid and we're going to die."
Stacie looked at Lydia, smiling a sarcastic smile. "Oh, thank you."
Lydia looked away. "Hmm."
They kept on walking.
A motorcycle drove past them.

Night
Calvera Club - Outside
Stacie, Stiles and Lydia walked alongside the building, walking up to a door with two guards standing on the concrete steps.
Lydia spoke Spanish.
The guard with the brown jean jacket on the right shook his head.
Stacie reached into her back pocket, holding up the tarot card with a skull on the back.
The guard looked behind him to the camera on the wall.
Stacie looked at Stiles and Lydia, holding up the tarot card for the camera to see.
The door clicked, the lock unlocking and the door sliding open.
Stacie lowered her hand to her side.
The guard stepped out of the way, nodding to the door, silently telling them to go in.
Stacie nodded, leading the way inside. Stiles followed her. Lydia followed him.
¤•¤°¤•¤
Inside - Hallway
The walls painted red and lights hung on the walls, lining the way. This was the same place Tara had been.
Lydia, Stiles and Stacie walked in.
The door shut behind them, making them look back.
Lydia, Stiles and Stacie looked at each other a little nervously, but they kept on walking, seeing the lights on the walls rattling as they got to the old style door at the end of the hall.
Stiles looked at Lydia and Stacie, opening the door to the club.
¤•¤°¤•¤
Club
(Song:) Dechorro - Derro
Lydia, Stiles and Stacie walked in.
Loud, electronic dance music was playing with laser and strobe lights and everyone dancing to the music.
Up on the balcony in the ceiling, which was lit with bright, white florescent lights, Severo saw them, speaking Spanish into his radio.
Stacie, Lydia and Stiles slowly made their way through the crowd, to the bar.
The bartender placed three shots of tequila in front of them.
Stiles reached through his pockets to pay for it.
Severo stood behind them, placing his right hand on Lydia's right shoulder and placing his left hand on Stiles' left shoulder. "No. On the house. Most American teenagers don't cross the border to refuse a drink."
Stacie turned her back to the bar, leaning against it to look at Severo. "We didn't come here to drink."
Severo gave Stacie a look like he was trying to intimidate her.
Stacie dropped a gold bullet shell in Lydia's shot. She took her own, drinking it, still looking at Severo, to show him she wasn't intimidated by him.

Araya's Office
(Song:) 3 Hours (Kilon Kek Remix) - Emika
The music could barely be heard from the distance.
Severo took Lydia, Stiles and Stacie to see Araya.
They were sitting at the desk.
Araya was sewing. "Stacie and Stiles Stilinski. Lydia Martin. Severo hates this music. Me? I've always loved the music of the youth. This kind, especially. It has a savage energy."
Araya looked at Lydia, Stiles and Stacie, looking back down at her work.
"We're here for Derek and Tara Hale," Stacie told her.
Araya looked up. "Is that so?"
"We know you have them," Stacie told her.
"We've heard that you can be bought," Lydia told her.
Stiles laid a stack of money on the table, splitting it into five. "It's $50,000 for Derek and Tara. $25,000 for each."
"Now, where does a teenage boy get money like this?" Araya asked. "Japanese Mafia?"
(Song Ends)
The female hunter behind Lydia, the male hunter behind Stiles, and the female hunter behind Stacie each cocked their guns.
Lydia, Stiles and Stacie looked at the guards, looking at Araya.
Araya leaned forward against the table, looing over the three of them. "Not smart to come alone."
Stacie looked at her with feigned intrigue and confusion. "What makes you think we came alone?"

(Song:) Cayendo - Deorro
Adriana and Angel were dancing in the crowd.
"Hey, Adriana," Angel told her.
Adriana smiled. "Hi, Angel."
Natalie, Malia, Ari and Kira walked closer.
They noticed hunters around them.
"Something's happening," Natalie told them.
"We know," Angel told them.
"What do we do, Adriana?" Kira asked.
"Blend in!" Adriana told them.
Kira looked around in confusion.
Malia looked from Adriana and Angel to Ari and Kira to Natalie.
Ari gave them a weird look.
Natalie tilted her head.
Angel smiled at all of them. "Dance with us, dumbasses."
"Oh, okay, Angel," Malia told her, instantly starting to bounce like Angel and Adriana were doing, dancing to the beat.
Ari shook her head, starting to walk away. "Uh-uh, no way, Adri. I'm bad at dancing."
Adriana grabbed Ari's hand to stop her, pulling her back, raising it above their heads. "Uh-huh, yes, way, and I know better than that, Ari."
"Oh, screw it," Ari told them, starting to dance.
Angel laughed.
Natalie sighed, not doing anything yet. "Adri..."
"Come on, Natalie!" Adriana told her, moving her arms back and forth and dancing. "You gotta live a little and snap out of the Boyd depression."
"Fine, Adriana," Natalie told her, smiling, starting to dance. Kira started to dance very awkwardly. A hunter walked past them, about six feet away, speaking Spanish into the hand held radio. Adriana hid a smile, biting her nail. Malia chuckled. Natalie looked at Angel, nodding to Kira. "Angel."
Angel smiled, putting a hand on the small of Kira's back, pulling her closer, starting to dance with her.
Kira started to get the hang of it.
Angel and Kira looked at each other, smiling, dancing together.
Adriana, Ari, Natalie and Malia were surprised but willing to go with it, dancing around Angel and Kira, swaying their hips back and forth to the music.
Kira hung her arms over Angel's shoulders as they danced close.
Ari seemed content, her eyes closed, her hands to her head.
Malia danced closer to the floor, coming back up.
Natalie had her arms over Ari and Adriana's shoulders, tilting her head back, waving out her hair.
Everyone was watching the girls. Hunters, partiers.
Angel put an arm around Kira, raising theirs hands in the air, turning her head from left to right, dancing closely.
Kira and Angel turned to dance with the other girls as well.
They smiled, looking at all of the hunters in black to see them talking on their radios.
Other dancers came to dance with the girls, all of them drawing in a crowd.
The girls smiled, looking around, still dancing.

Araya's Office
Araya was standing.
Lydia, Stiles and Stacie were sitting across from her at the desk.
Araya sighed, turning to face the window behind her. "My friends..." She sighed. "I don't think you're aware of your poor timing. Do you know what the dark moon is?"
"The part of the lunar phase where the moon is least visible in the sky," Lydia answered.
"But do you it's meaning?" Araya asked.
"Some people say it's a time of reflection," Lydia told them. "Or grief."
"Grief and loss, mija," Araya told her. "I wonder why, when you and your friends have suffered so much loss, you would risk it again for people like Derek and Tara Hale."
"'Cause we don't like to lose," Stacie told her.
"Or, perhaps, your reason for Derek is different than the others, Stacie," Araya told her, smirking a knowing smirk. "Just like Scott's reason for Tara is different that the others."
Stacie didn't answer, looking at the table.
The bartender was speaking Spanish over Severo's radio.
Man: (on radio)"Front door clear."
Man: (on radio) "South clear."
"North?" Severo asked.
There was no answer.
Severo started to speak Spanish.

Scott stood over an unconscious guard, picking up the radio. "Stiles."

Araya's Office
Lydia, Stiles and Stacie sat at the desk, looking at the radio.
Scott: (on radio)"Take ten off the table."
Stiles took $10,000 off the table, putting it in his inner jacket pocket.
Lydia looked at Araya. "Maybe you should just take the deal."
Araya laughed. "While I'm keen to follow the warning of a Banshee, I'm going to have to decline."
¤•¤°¤•¤
The Club
The girls were still dancing, noticing that the hunters around them were getting ready to attack.
There was a female hunter behind Kira, a female hunter behind Angel, and a female hunter behind Malia.
The rest of the hunters behind Ari, Adriana and Natalie were male.
Ari leaned closer to Kira, Angel, Malia, Adriana and Natalie so they would be the only ones to hear her whisper. "Ready?"
Kira lowered her glow stick nunchucks to her side, nodding.
Malia took a deep, readying breath.
Adriana smiled. "Ready, Ari."
Angel smirked. "Showoff Adriana. Ready, Natalie?"
Natalie tilted her head. "Let's do it, Angel."
All six of them turned around to the six hunters behind them.
Kira swung the nunchucks toward Hunter 1, a female hunter. Hunter 1 tried to dodge from behind hit.
Hunter 2, a female hunter, tried to punch Malia. Malia caught her hand, elbowing her in the face. Hunter 2 tried to shoot her. Malia caught her wrist, elbowing her in the face with enough strength to make her fall unconscious. She looked at Adriana, Natalie, Ari, Kira and Angel.
Adriana took Hunter 3, a male hunter, by his shirt, lifting him off the floor, pushing him onto his back, breaking the floor a little because she used too much strength, making him fall unconscious. (Slow motion)
Adriana looked at Natalie, Ari, Kira, Angel and Malia.
Hunter 4, a male hunter, tried to shoot. Natalie. Natalie ducked, spinning around to kick both legs into his chest, making him fall back into the wall, making him fall. (slow motion)
Natalie smirked, looking at Ari, Kira, Angel, Malia and Adriana.
Kira hit Hunter 1 with her nunchucks in the side, swinging them back, hitting her in the mouth so hard that it bled, making her fall. (slow motion)
Kira swung the nunchuchs behind her shoulder, forward, holding them out right with both hands, looking at Malia, Adriana, Natalie, Angel and Ari.
Hunter 5, a female hunter, raised her gun to shoot Angel. Angel caught her wrist, using both hands to push her arm, making her spin around, making her dizzy until she stopped spinning, kicking the gun out of her hand, catching the gun in her hand, using the butt of the gun to hit Hunter 5 in the head, making her fall unconscious. She looked at Kira, Malia, Adriana, Natalie and Ari.
Hunter 6, a male hunter, ran toward Ari with his gun raised. Ari pushed Hunter 6 make into a pillar. Hunter 6 raised his gun to shoot her. Ari caught his wrist, gripping his throat, pulling him off the floor, turning around, throwing him about six feet into the wall, making the wall break because she used too much strength, making him fall. (slow motion)
Ari looked at Kira, Angel, Malia, Adriana and Natalie.
Angel and Kira looked at each other, smirking.
Scott pushed through the crowd, looking at the six unconscious hunters. He looked at Kira, Angel, Malia, Adriana, Natalie and Ari in surprise, nodding to all of them about the job well done.
They walked toward the door.

Araya's Office
Araya stood at her desk.
Lydia, Stiles and Stacie sat across from her.
"Aw, come on," Stacie told her. "Just give us Tara and Derek."
"You don't want them, anyway," Stiles told her. He looked at Stacie with a pointed look, but still talking to Araya at the same time, deciding that now was the time that he wanted to give Stacie the big brother disapproval of who she was with speech. "Haven't you noticed what a downer Derek is? No sense of humor, poor conversationalist." Stacie tilted her head, looking away, knowing what he was doing, annoyed but unsurprised that he was secretly having the disapproval speech at that moment. Stiles looked at Araya, raising his hand halfway in the air absentmindedly. "And Tara, oh, my God, that little girl has some serious anger, aggression, trust, abandonment and intimacy issues to work on." He gestured to the table. "Come on, just take the money."
Araya grabbed her radio. "Severo? Show them how the Calaveras negotiate."

Malia, Natalie, Ari, Scott, Adriana, Kira and Angel walked down the hallway, looking behind them to make sure no one was was trying to start another fight.
Natalie slowed to a stop, listening intensely. "Stop."
The others turned to face her. "Natalie?"
"What is it, Natalie?" Scott asked.
"Listen," Natalie told them.
They all focused their hearing.
And they heard high-voltage current running and a girl screaming somewhere in a locked room, barely even being able to be heard. They even heard a heart beat start to slow as the current was killing her.
But they recognized the girl's voice.
"What?" Kira asked.
Scott's eyes widened in worry. "Tara. They're killing her. We gotta go. Now."
They all turned back forward, starting to walk faster.
They saw the wolfsbane in fog form blowing out over the floor.
Scott turned around, trying to go the other way.
But the wolfsbane sprayed down at them from the ceiling.
The wolfsbane made Malia, Natalie, Ari, Scott and Adriana weak, coughing as they got even weaker.
"Wolfsbane," Adriana told them.
"Kira..." Malia trailed off. "Angel, get out of here!"
Two hunters came up from behind Kira and Angel.
"Angel, Kira, look out!" Natalie told them.
The hunters behind Kira and Angel hit them in the head with military-grade batons, making them fall unconscious.
The Werewolves/Werecoyote saw them fall through blurry vision.
Araya and four other hunters stepped in front of Malia, Natalie, Scott, Ari and Adriana.
Araya looked at Scott. "Someone who has been an Alpha only a few months should be more careful when facing a hunter of 40 years."
"All we want... is Tara and Derek," Scott told her, breathing heavily.
"My lobito, you're a long way from home," Araya told him, smirking, looking away.
Ari looked at her in realization. "We know you have Tara. We heard her. But you don't know where Derek is either."
Araya's face went completely serious.
Each of the hunters struck Malia, Natalie, Scott, Ari and Adriana with stun guns, making all of them growl in pain before seeping into unconsciousness.

Flashback
Night - Beacon Hills Animal Clinic - Backroom
Scott and Stacie led Stiles, Ari, Lydia, Natalie and Adriana into the back.
Scott opened a cabinet.
Lydia, Adriana and Stiles stood on the left side of the table. Ari stood at one ends of the table between Stiles and the empty place meant for Scott. Stacie and Natalie were standing across from Lydia and Adriana.
"All right, how long has it been?" Ari asked.
"Weeks," Stacie answered. Scott took a metal jar out of the cabinet, closing the door. "They haven't gotten back to any of our texts."
"Have Derek or Tara ever returned either of your texts?" Natalie asked, looking at Scott and Stacie.
Scott stood at the table, placing the jar down. "Tara answered once. Definitely once."
"And Derek's answered mine more than he's ever returned any of yours," Stacie answered, looking over all of them.
"Wait, wasn't Tara supposed to be leaving anyway?" Natalie asked. "What if Derek just left with her?"
Adriana rolled her eyes. "Really, Natalie? I mean, seriously, Nattie."
"What, Adri?" Natalie asked.
Adriana sighed. "Do any of you actually believe that Tara would actually leave and that Derek would leave without saying goodbye?" Stiles opened his mouth to answer. Adriana closed her eyes. "Don't answer that." She opened her eyes. "I meant... after everything that happened." There was a heavy silence at the mention of Allison and Aiden. Adriana looked at Scott. "The point is, did Tara tell you that she would stay?"
Scott nodded. "Yeah. She did."
Adriana tilted her head at Stiles. "And like it or not, Derek wouldn't leave without telling Stacie goodbye. Right, Stace?"
Stacie nodded. "Right, Adriana. Adri."
"So, Stace and I went to the loft," Scott told them. "The alarm was on. Everything looked okay. But then we found these."
Stacie opened the jar, pushing it to the middle of the table.
Ari pulled out a gold bullet shell with a skull etched into it. Her irises glowed purple. She looked up, putting the bullet down. "It has wolfsbane in it."
Scott nodded. "Right, Ari. So, I sent a picture of it to Deaton. He said that it's the mark of a family of hunters based out of Mexico. The Calaveras."
"What would they want with Derek and Tara?" Lydia asked.
No one had an answer.
"You don't think they killed them, do you?" Stiles asked, looking from Scott to Stacie.
"I..." Stacie trailed off, taking a deep breath. "I don't know."
Scott looked at Lydia. "That's why you're here."
Scott pushed the jar of bullet shells toward her.
Lydia hesitated, pulling it closer to her. She rested her hand on the rim, reaching inside, pulling out a handful of shells. She closed her eyes, letting them fall.
The bullet shells bounced and ricocheted off the table lightly, some rolling, most of the landing on their sides. One landed on its tip.
The only one who could hear the man screaming and the gunfire was Lydia herself.
Lydia looked away, shaken up.
"Lydia, what?" Ari asked. "Are they dead?"
Lydia looked down at the bullet shell that was standing on its side, picking it up. "I touch this one, the only thing I can feel in anger and the only thing I can think is that... Tara is definitely alive."
Lydia placed the shell back down, leaving it to stand.
"And Derek?" Stacie asked, looking down. "Is he... Is he dead?"
"No," Lydia answered. "But I'm not sure he's alive, either, Stacie."
"What does that mean?" Natalie asked.
"I don't know," Lydia admitted. "There's something not right. I just... I don't know."
"So if the Calaveras have both, how do we find them?" Stiles asked.
Scott picked up the bullet shell that was still standing, holding it out for them all to see. His eyes started to glow red. "Mexico."

Day Three
Morning - Locked Room
Scott slowly came to consciousness, looking up to see Tara above him, startled to complete alertness and relief, starting to sit up immediately. "Tara."
"Are you crazy?" Tara asked.
"Are you?" Scott replied. "What were you thinking, coming here alone?"
"I knew that if I asked for help, Araya and Severo would've killed all of you," Tara told him, stressing the words. She knelt next to him. "I work better alone."
"You still got captured," Scott told her. "You could've gotten yourself killed."
"I was doing find defending myself, thank you," Tara told him. "If they hadn't blow up my car, I wouldn't be here."
"But they were hurting you, killing you," Scott told her. "We could hear you screaming." He lowered his voice a little. "We could hear your heart beat slowing. It almost stopped. You almost died. How often do they do that to you?" Tara didn't answer, lowering her gaze. Scott stressed the words slightly. "How much?"
Tara finally looked at him. "A lot."
"How close could you be to..." Scott trailed off, taking her hand in his. Tara looked down. "Are you..." Tara didn't answer, looking up. Scott shook his head. "No."
"As long as they give me time to heal, I'll be fine," Tara told him.
"And if they don't?" Scott asked.
Tara didn't answer.
"Hey, guys, can we have your little lover's spat later?" Stiles asked.
Angel, Kira, Malia, Stiles, Stacie, Natalie and Adriana walked closer.
Tara gave Stiles a look, taking a deep breath, looking at Scott. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah," Scott answered.
Tara exhaled, looking over all of them. "They don't have him. They don't have Derek."
"We know," Stacie told her.
Adriana looked at Scott. "But right now, they've got Lydia and Ari."
"Lydia and Ari?" Scott repeated. "What do they want with Ari and Lydia?"

Conseulas Cafe - Outside
Araya and Lydia were sitting at a table.
Two hunters were standing guard nearby.
Araya was pouring tea. "I have to admit, I don't have much experience with Banshees."
"That makes two of us, since I don't have much experience being one," Lydia told her.
"I have a feeling you underestimate your abilities, Lydia," Araya told her, taking a drink.
"Trust me, you'd have better luck with tarot cards," Lydia told her.
"Let's find out," Araya told her. "Tell me..." She pointed at the two hunters standing guard. "Which of these men is about to die?"
Lydia looked at the hunters worriedly in confusion.

Electrical Room
Ari was bound to a chair with manacles, chains and electric wiring. She wasn't wearing her leather jacket because it would have gotten in the way of the wiring and chains. She gasped awake, looking around, seeing the predicament she was in, starting to pull at the chains.
Severo was standing at a machine that would shock Ari. "Your strength won't work with those." Ari looked up. "Specially built for super strong half-breeds."
"I think you're underestimating just how strong I can be," Ari told him.
"Am I?" Severo asked.
Ari didn't answer. She looked to her right to see one other chair exactly like the one she was chained to. She looked to her left to see two more. Four in all.
Ari looked at Severo. "What is this? Why'd you bring me here alone?"
"Because, mija, we know what you and your sister are," Severo answered. "Half-Beta, half-Alpha half-breeds. The Transferring Alphas. Stronger than any wolf. Even stronger when they're together. But you're not together now. You're weaker when you're alone."
"That's why you've got me here?" Ari asked. "Because you know if we're together, we could easily get out of this place?"
"That's half of it," Severo told her.
"What's the other half?" Ari asked.
Severo drummed his fingers against the current box, trying to get a reaction out of Ari, but she didn't give him a reaction. "Even while half, you both still have the abilities of an Alpha. Transferring memories, turning people into Werewolves... We want to know what kind of Alpha you could be, Ari, and what kind of Alpha Scott is now."
Severo turned the dial to one, making the current soar through the wires and into her body, making Ari groan in pain.
Ari lowered her head to her chest.
¤•¤°¤•¤
Locked Room
The others were still locked away.
Adriana and Stacie could feel the pain that Ari was feeling.
Adriana took a step back because of the pain. "Oh, my God."
Stacie groaned in pain, starting to fall.
Kira and Angel helped Stacie stand.
Natalie caught Adriana by the arm to keep her from falling. "Stacie? Adriana?"
"They're hurting her," Adriana answered, taking a deep breath. "They're hurting Ari."
Scott took that as motivation to turn around, trying to open the hard, heavy metal sliding door, grunting with exertion.
Kira and Angel helped Stacie sit on the floor, kneeling next to her worriedly.
Tara stopped pacing, turning to face Scott. "Just so you know, this is why I came here alone. To avoid all of the pain." She gestured at the rest of the pack captured with them. "To avoid all this."
Scott gave her a look. "Tara."
Tara sighed. "I already looked for a way out for a while now. I think a lot of people have."
"I say when that door opens again, we take out whoever's standing in the way and run for it," Malia told them.
"What about Ari and Lydia?" Stacie asked.
"What about them?" Malia asked.
Adriana walked closer. "We're not leaving without them."
Malia looked from Adriana to Stacie. "Why not?"
Stiles walked closer to Malia. "'Cause we don't leave without people. Remember, we talked about this? Rules of the wild kingdom don't apply to friends."
"Is that what you would do as a coyote?" Natalie asked. "Leave them for dead?"
"If they were weak and injured, yeah," Malia answered. "If hunting had been bad that season, I would eat them. Then I'd leave."
"Mm," Stacie hummed, pointing painfully at her. "Believe it or not, that's progress."
"All right, guys, we're not dead yet," Tara told them. "That means Araya wants something. Especially when they've kept me alive this long."
"Let me guess," Stiles told her. "Another family of hunters you Hales don't have a really good past with."
Tara exhaled. "Something like that."
"But why did they keep you alive this long?" Angel asked.
"Probably waiting for us to come to the rescue," Natalie answered.
Scott sighed. "Natalie's right."
Tara looked away.
"But if the Calaveras don't know where your brother is, that means they didn't take him from the loft, right?" Adriana asked.
Kira took a step forward. "Maybe he left on his own."
Stacie looked up at them. "Maybe someone else got to him."
¤•¤°¤•¤
Consuelas Cafe - Outside
Lydia and Araya sat at their table.
The two hunters were standing guard.
Araya was slicing up an orange. "How does it work? Do you need to touch them? Maybe I give you something they own." She put her knife down. "Or is it just a... a feeling?"
"I told you, I don't know," Lydia told her.
"Just how close to death do they have to be?" Araya asked, tapping her finger against the knife.
Lydia looked at the hunters worriedly.
A hunter turned to face them.
Lydia looked at that hunter, realizing that he was the one that was going to die.
Araya threw a knife into the hunter's chest.
Lydia stood, screaming.
The hunter fell to the ground, dead.
Lydia looked at Araya incredulously in horror. "What did you do that for?"
"He stole from me," Araya told her.
"What do you want?" Lydia asked.
"Right now?" Araya asked. "I want to know about your cousin Arielle Martin."
¤•¤°¤•¤
Electrical Room
Ari was still chained up to the chair and wires, groaning in pain, trying not to scream.
Severo turned the machine off.
Ari breathed heavily in relief and exertion.
"Impressive," Severo told her. "You've got discipline, Arielle."
"You haven't seen anything yet," Ari told him.
Severo chuckled. "You heal fast. Part of the... Transferring Alpha benefits, hmm?"
Ari glared at him. "You have no idea. I'm faster, stronger, I heal faster. All because Adriana gave me a little bit of her power, she gave power on the lunar eclipse while a blind Alpha took power from me. We might be stronger than any wolf on our own, but we're stronger together. You know that if Adriana were here, we could break me out of these chains, and if I was there with Adriana, we would be able to break her and our friends free."
"Yes," Severo agreed, unashamed. "How does that work? Do you have to be in physical contact to be stronger together?"
Ari didn't answer. "Just tell me what you really want."
"We want to know what kind of half-breed you are," Severo answered. "We want to know what kind of Alpha you could some day turn into."

Locked Room
A team of hunters, each with a stun gun, opening the door.
Natalie, Scott, Tara and Adriana turned around, letting their eyes glow. Natalie's eyes were gold. Scott's eyes were red. Tara's eyes were blue. Adriana's were completely purple.
The hunters electrocuted all of them.
Ari felt Adriana's pain.
Stacie felt both Scott and Ari's pain.

Electrical Room
Ari, Scott and Tara were chained to their chairs with manacles and wires.
Araya opened the door.
Another hunter dragged Lydia inside.
Lydia looked at Ari, Scott and Tara. "Oh, God."
The hunter dragged Lydia to the other chair on the other side of Ari, starting to chain her up with the manacles and wires.
Ari struggled against her binds, looking at Araya, nodding to Lydia. "Let her go." She looked at the bad shape that Tara was in, knowing that she wouldn't last long if she was tortured with current again, not with the way she was still healing. "Both of them."
Scott looked from Ari to Araya. "Look, you've got us. Just let the others go."
Severo walked closer. "So let me explain what's going to happen. I'm going to turn the dial on the Beta. If the Beta doesn't answer, I turn the dial on the Alpha and the half-breed. If we still don't have a satisfactory answer, I turn the dial on the Banshee."
"No," Tara told him, struggling, sitting forward. "You're not going to do this to them."
"No?" Severo asked. "I think I will."
"I'm not gonna tell you anything," Tara told him.
Severo spoke Spanish. "¿Estás seguro? [Are you sure?]" He spoke in English. "Two of your friends have the power to heal. The other? Not so much."
Lydia turned her head to look at Ari, Scott and Tara.
"What are you doing?" Tara asked. "Is this just another game to you?"
"This is a test, mija," Araya answered, walking past Lydia, Ari and Scott to stand in front of Tara. "Let's see if all of you pass. We're going to ask some questions. You answer them, nobody gets hurt. You don't answer, we turn on the dial."
"Are these just gonna be the same questions as before?" Tara asked. "Because you know I'm not gonna tell you where Cora is."
Araya smirked. "No. Not the same questions as before."
"Leave her out of this, please," Scott told her. Tara looked him. "Ari and I will do anything you want, just don't hurt Lydia and don't hurt Tara again. You didn't give her enough time to heal. If you hurt her again, she could die."
"Then she should answer quickly, no?" Araya asked. "And I can't leave her out of this, lobito." She looked at Ari and Scott. "This test is for the three of you. So..." She looked at Tara. "We don't know where Derek is. We want to find him as well. You know who took him."
"What?" Tara asked. "I don't know. How would I know that? You've kept me locked away in a room for two months."
Araya shook her head. "That doesn't sound like an answer to me."
"We don't know," Lydia told her. "Why do you think any of us came here?"
Araya sighed. "Severo, turn the dial."
"No," Scott told them, looking at Tara worriedly.
"It's okay," Tara told him. "I can take it."
"If you take any more, you could..." Scott trailed off.
"I'll be fine," Tara told him.
Lydia and Ari looked at Scott and Tara worriedly.
Tara nodded to them to show them she would be okay, not knowing if it was a lie or not.
Severo turned the dial on for Tara, at one.
Electricity crackled and seared and flashed, flooding through Tara, making her look up in pain.
"Answer or Arielle and Scott are going to feel the pain next," Severo told her, placing his hands on Ari and Scott's dials. "And we know that it won't just be them who feels the pain. The other half-breed Adriana, the human anchor Stacie..."
"Don't," Tara told him.
"Should we turn the dial on Lydia instead?" Araya asked.
Severo moved his hand to Lydia's dial.
"I said don't!" Tara told them angrily.
Ari leaned forward against her chair. "No, no! No, Lydia..."
"Ari, I'm gonna be fine," Lydia told her. "Ari... They're not gonna do it as long as Tara makes it."
Scott looked at Severo. "Don't do it to her. Do it to me."
"And me," Ari told him. "Do it."
"Let's start at one," Araya told him.
Scott looked at Tara.
Severo turned the dials for Ari and Scott.
Ari and Scott went through the same pain Tara went through, looking up in pain.

Locked Room
Natalie and Adriana were still unconscious.
Stacie was standing. She felt the pain of the current from Scott and Ari. "Oh, my God!"
Stacie started to fall.
Angel and Kira caught Stacie as she fell, lowering her to the floor, kneeling next to her worriedly.
Stiles and Malia were across the room, running closer worriedly.
Stiles knelt next to his sister. "Stace? What's happening? What are they doing to Scott and Ari?"
"I freaking hate current," Stacie told them, groaning in pain.
Adriana woke up from feeling the pain from Ari.
"Finally, you're awake," Stiles told her.
Kira looked from Adriana to Stacie. "Stacie, Adriana, are you guys okay?"
"God, it really must suck to be an anchor for Scott, Stiles and Ari when one of all of them are always getting hurt, Stacie," Angel told her. "Especially when you feel Adriana's pain through Ari. I'd hate to live through that."
Stacie gave her a halfhearted glare. "Shut up, Angel."
Angel nodded in agreement. "Shutting up, Stacie."
"Oh, my God," Adriana told them, leaning against the wall, sitting down.
"Okay, Adriana," Stiles told her. "Do you hear that? Do you hear Scott and Ari?"
"Can you give me a sec to where I don't feel electricity pulsing through my veins and I don't hear the buzzing in my ears?" Adriana asked.
"God, you know what?" Stiles asked. "I still like Ari a thousand times better than you. My favorite Martin twin, and I would pick her over you any day." He looked at Malia. "What about you?" Malia shook her head, closing her eyes. "Can you hear Tara, Lydia, anybody? What are they saying?"
"I... I can't concentrate," Malia told them. "I... There's too many sounds and voices."
"Maybe someone should help her concentrate," Kira told them.
Stacie looked up at Stiles. "Do it."
"Okay," Stiles told her, letting her go, standing, walking toward Malia, kneeling in front of her. "It's okay. Well, just breathe. Breathe with me, all right? You practiced this with Scott, Ari, Natalie and Adriana, remember?"
"I'm trying," Malia told them.
"It's okay, it's okay," Stiles told her. "Just focus on something. Here, look at my eyes. Very good. Just focus on the sound of my voice. All you have to do is concentrate. Concentrate..."
Malia kissed Stiles, surprising him.
Stacie was surprised enough to stop thinking about the pain.
Kira and Angel looked away awkwardly, looking at Stacie.
When Malia pulled away, her eyes were glowing blue.
"That's good way to concentrate," Adriana told them.
Stiles rolled his eyes. "Shut up, Adriana."

Electrical Room
Lydia, Ari, Scott and Tara were chained up.
Ari, Scott and Tara were still being electrified.
"Who actually has Derek?" Araya asked. "Who had a reason, a vendetta particular to you and the other Hales?"
"You're gonna have to narrow that down a little," Tara told her, breathing heavily in pain. "Because I don't know."
"Oh, you don't know because you haven't figured it out yet," Araya whispered, pointing to her head. "So think! Who could've taken him?"
"Tres," Severo told them, turning all three dials to three.
"Who had the power?" Araya asked. "The power of a shapeshifter?"
"I don't know," Tara repeated.
"Oh!" Araya told her in frustration. "Someone who could've turned without you knowing. Turned, but not by a bite."
"I don't know!" Tara told her angrily.
Araya looked at Severo. "Diez." Severo turned the dials to ten. The current burned higher, searing through Ari, Scott and Tara, making them scream. "Should we turn the dial on Lydia next?"
"No!" Ari told her.
"Wait!" Scott told her.
Lydia looked at them worriedly.

Locked Room
Adriana and Stacie could feel Ari's pain.
Stacie could also feel Scott's pain. She was on the floor, screaming in agony, rolling onto her side. Her hair was over her face. She held her head in her hands.
Electricity flickered.
They could hear Tara, Scott and Ari screaming from down here.
Natalie was woken up by all the screaming. "Stacie? Stace?"
Angel sighed in relief. "Finally, you're awake, Natalie."
Stiles knelt next to Kira, Angel and Stacie, holding Stacie, putting her head in his lap, holding her worriedly and comfortingly. "Stace? It's okay. I got you. I got you, I'm right here. Don't think about the pain, focus on something else, shut it out."
"Easy for you to say, Stiles," Adriana told him.
"I don't see you doing anything, Adriana," Stiles replied.
"What's happening?" Natalie asked, crawling closer.
"Natalie, they're killing them!" Stacie answered, crying from the agony she was feeling.
"Adri, if you can feel that, then how come you're not screaming?" Natalie asked.
"Adriana's impervious to pain," Stiles told them.
"Or maybe it's because I'm used to being tortured and this doesn't compare to what I've had to go through before," Adriana told them.
Stiles tilted his head. "Yeah, or it could be that."
Natalie took Stacie by the hands, taking her pain. Black veins trailed from Stacie's hands into Natalie's, making it only a little easier on Stacie.
Blood dripped down Stacie's nose.
"Stacie's bleeding," Kira stated. "Natalie, why's Stacie bleeding?"
"If the pain gets to be too much it doesn't make Stacie just feel it," Natalie answered. "It starts to actually happen."
Angel looked down at Stacie. "Oh, my God. Stacie?"
Adriana ground her teeth, hitting her head against the wall, making the bricks shatter.

Lydia, Ari, Scott and Tara were chained to their chairs.
Ari, Scott and Tara were being electrified.
Lydia struggled in her chair in an attempt to get free and help them.
Kira's words echoed. "Stacie's bleeding. Natalie, why's Stacie bleeding?"
Natalie's answer echoed. "If the pain gets to be too much it doesn't make Stacie just feel it. It starts to actually happen."
Angel's words echoed. "Oh, my God. Stacie?"
Ari let the irises of her eyes glow purple, pulling free from the chains with as much strength as she could, breaking the chains, breaking herself free. (slow motion)
Ari could no longer feel the current, but she was still sweating, weak, hurting, breathing heavily.
Tara's eyes were glowing blue.

Lydia, Ari, Scott and Tara were chained up.
Ari had broken free.
Scott and Tara were still being tortured.
Scott pulled at the chains with as much strength as he had, breaking free. (slow motion).
Tara was dying. She couldn't breathe. Her vision was blurred. Her body was shutting down.
They could hear her heartbeat start to slow.
Thump....... thump.......... thump............ thump.
Ari looked at Severo. "Make it stop."
"You're killing her!" Lydia told them.
"Turn it off!" Scott told them.
Araya held out her hand to stop Severo, looking at Tara. "Have you figured it out yet?" Tara barely had enough in her to nod. Severo turned the current off. "Say the name, Tara."
Tara slowly, weakly, painfully looked up, breathing heavily. "Kate."

Kira, Angel and Natalie were kneeling next to Stacie.
Now that the torture was over and so was the pain, Stacie could weakly sit up with their help.
Adriana was still sitting on the floor where she had used her head to break the bricks.
Stiles and Malia were standing.
Stiles was pacing. "That's impossible. It's impossible. That can't be what she said."
"That's what she said," Natalie told them. "I heard it too. Even if it is impossible."
"Why, Natalie?" Angel asked.
"Why is it impossible, Stacie?" Kira asked.
"Who... who's Kate, Adriana?" Malia asked.
Stacie slowly looked away, getting her breath back, wiping the blood from her nose away. "She's a hunter. An Argent."
Adriana looked toward them, looking like she didn't want to feel a single thing. "She's a bitch that's supposed to be dead."

Calavera Quarters - Outside
Araya led Scott, Tara and Ari outside.
"So you're just letting us go?" Ari asked.
"I sent four men out to where Kate had been rumored to have been seen," Araya told them. "None of them came back." She stopped walking. They stood in front of her. "Let's see if you can do better." Araya looked at Tara. "Besides, mija, it's not you who we really want. It's her."
"You could've just told us she was alive," Tara told her.
"You wouldn't have believed me," Araya told her. She looked at Scott and Ari. "Now I know what kind of Alpha or half-Alpha you really are. And where your next step lies."
"What next step?" Ari asked.
"When either of you take the bite of an innocent, when you make a wolf of your own, when you do that, then I will cross your border and come knocking at your doors," Araya told them.
Scott and Ari nodded barely.
Araya walked away, leaving.
Scott looked at Tara. "She's kidding, right?"
"You don't wanna know," Tara told them, starting to walk toward Stiles, Stacie, Adriana, Natalie, Lydia, Malia, Angel, Kira, Ari's motorcycle, Stiles' Jeep and Tara's Camaro.
"Okay," Ari told them awkwardly.
Scott and Ari followed Tara.
Tara smiled a small smile when she saw the Camaro. "You brought the Camaro?"
"Oh, so a car's the only thing it takes to make you smile after two months of torture?" Scott asked, teasing her.
"The car I brought exploded, remember?" Tara replied.
Stacie and Stiles walked closer to them.
"So what now?" Stacie asked.
"She thinks she knows where we can find Derek," Ari answered.
"She gonna tell us where?" Malia asked.
"Uh, actually, she's giving us a guide," Scott answered.

A girl on another black motorcycle with black matching helmet and black biker clothes rode toward them, parking behind Ari's motorcycle.
Stiles stumbled away, standing on the other side of Stacie.
"You know her?" Angel asked.
The girl took off her helmet, revealing it was Braedan, giving Tara, Ari and Adriana a meaningful look.
"Braedan," Tara told them.
"Whoa," Stacie told them.
Adriana looked at her twin sister. "Hey, Ari, I think we found your biker twin."
Natalie looked at Braedan. "Should I thank you for saving my brother?"
"Natalie, you could if you want," Braedan answered. "But... you don't have to, Natalie."
"Who's Braedan?" Kira asked.
"She's a mercenary," Lydia answered.
"Now, I'm the only one that's going to take you to la iglasia," Braedan told them.
Lydia and Ari translated in confusion. "The Church?"
"What's the Church?" Stiles asked.
Braedan looked at Tara, knowing she would know about it.
Tara exhaled. "It's not a place you'll find God."

Stiles' Jeep
Stiles was driving.
Stacie was in the passenger seat.
Kira, Angel and Malia were in the backseat.
No one spoke for a long moment.
Angel leaned forward, resting her elbows on her knees. "Okay. I'll ask." She looked from Stiles to Stacie. "Who's Kate Argent?"
Kira raised her hand. "Uh, I'd like to know, too."
"Well, we were at her funeral," Stiles told them. "So I'd like to know how she got out of a casket that was buried six feet underground."
"She was never in it," Stacie told them. She sighed. "She was Allison's aunt. And a total sociopath. She's the one Allison and I saw when the doors were open, the hallucinations, the reason we almost killed Lydia, Isaac and Ari."
Kira looked at them sadly. "You don't have to talk about it now if you don't want to."
"Oh, yes, they do," Malia told them.
"Yeah, she's right," Stiles told them. "You guys should know. You need to know. All right. Kate was the one that set the fire that killed most of Derek and Tara's family."

Lydia and Natalie were in the backseat.
Scott sighed, looking at Tara. "You okay?"
"Why wouldn't I be?" Tara asked.
"Oh, I don't know," Natalie told her sarcastically. "Maybe because of two months worth of captivity and torture, the fact you almost died back there, and the woman who tried to kill you is still alive. And she took your brother. Again."
Tara exhaled. "I'm fine, Natalie."
"You sure?" Natalie asked.
"Natalie, more than sure," Tara told her.
Lydia knew that she was lying, tilting her head, sighing. "Tara..."
"What do you want me to say, guys?" Tara asked, obviously annoyed from all the questions from everyone. "The woman who tried to obliterate the whole entire Hale line is still alive when we had thought she was dead. That's all there's to it. I'm fine."
"You know that none of us believe that, right?" Scott asked.
"Okay, I'll be fine," Tara corrected.
"How is she alive?" Natalie asked. "She was buried at my father's cemetery Isaac and I were the ones who buried her."
"No, Natalie," Tara told her. "You buried a casket. She wasn't in it."

Severo and Araya walked together into the morgue, walking toward the one Kate was in.
Tara: (voice over)"The Calaveras had heard that Kate had been killed by an Alpha's claws. They wanted to make sure she was really dead."
Severo and Araya pulled Kate's body into view, seeing her slashed throat was almost healed.
Tara: (voice over)"Her body was healing. More and more, she got closer to the full moon. She was coming back."
Araya took Kate's hand in hers, uncurling it to see Kate's claws. She gave Severo a knowing look.
Tara: (voice over)"So they switched out the bodies. They took her."

Tara: (voice over)"If a hunter is bit, they have to take their own life before they change. The Calaveras, they treat the code like law. They make it their responsibility to reinforce it."
Kate took the knife off the floor, holding it up for her to see. She could see her eyes in the reflection of the blade.

"What kind of shape is sociopathic bitch?" Angel asked.
Stacie chuckled. "Nice, Angel. Angel, really nice."

Outside
The Jeep hit something, having to come to a stop.
Stacie, Kira, Angel, Stiles and Malia got out of the car to see what was wrong.
Tara, Ari and Braedan also stopped driving to see what was wrong.
Tara, Scott, Natalie and Lydia got out of the Camaro.
Ari, Adriana and Braedan got off the two bikes, pulling off their helmets.
"What happened?" Adriana asked.
"I don't know," Stiles told them. "It felt like we hit something."
Ari and Scott walked closer to them.
"Scott, Tara, we need to get there by night," Braedan told them. "It's too dangerous otherwise." She looked from Ari to Adriana. "Ari, Adriana, we could use some strength just in case."
Ari and Scott hesitated, looking at Stiles and Stacie.
Stacie gestured to the Camaro. "Go."
"No, Stace, not without you," Ari told her. "Stacie... If anyone should go saving Derek, it's you."
Stacie walked closer to them. "Ari, somebody needs to find him, and I can't fight against Kate." She gestured over to Tara. "And somebody needs to make sure Miss Independent over there doesn't get herself killed trying to do it herself."
Tara rolled her eyes, turning around, walking away.
Braedan got onto her bike.
Adriana got into the backseat of the Camaro.
Stiles looked at Ari and Scott. "We'll figure it out. We always do."
Natalie stood next to them, looking at Ari and Scott. "I'll stay here if it makes it any easier. Just go."
Ari sighed. "Okay." She put a hand on Natalie's shoulder. "Thanks, Natalie."
Ari handed the keys to her bike to Natalie.
Natalie took them, nodding.
Ari walked toward the Camaro, getting into the backseat with Adriana.
(Song:) Aftermath - Vancouver Sleep Clinic
Scott jogged after Tara.
Tara turned to face him. "Listen. I can do this on my own. Kate's always been dangerous. She's nearly killed you and Ari before, and we don't know what else is out there. Just stay here with them."
Tara started to turn for the Camaro.
Scott caught her arm, taking a step after her. "No." Tara sighed, looking at him. "No way. You're not doing this on your own. Not after what happened the last time you left to do something on your own. You're still healing." Tara exhaled, looking away. "You're not invincible, Tara. Just ask for help."
"Scott, every time I ask for help, the people I ask help from usually end up dead," Tara told him.
Scott hesitated, sighing. "When I found out you were gone, I had thought you really had left even when you told me you wouldn't. And how much that hurt actually surprised me. To think that you just left after you told me you would stay."
Tara tried not to show a reaction, but you could tell she was surprised. "It did?"
Scott nodded. "Yeah. It did. Then we found the bullet shells. I thought you and Derek had been killed. It--it reminded me of everything that happened before when I found out they had you. It brought back everything I felt when I lost Allison and Aiden. I--I thought I was gonna lose you, too. I--I thought you were..."
Tara sighed, embracing Scott suddenly to silence him, surprising him. Scott smiled a small, surprised smile, returning the embrace.
"You're not gonna lose me," Tara told him.
"Guys, the sun's going down," Adriana told them.
Tara sighed, pulling back from Scott. "If you're going, get in the car, 'cause we gotta go."
Tara walked toward the Camaro.
Scott smiled.
Tara opened the door, getting into the driver's seat.
Scott walked around the car to get into the passenger seat.
Braedan pulled on her helmet, driving away down the road.
Tara turned the Camaro around to follow her.
Stacie looked at Stiles, referencing one of the issues that Stiles had told Araya that Tara needed to work on. "So much for intimacy issues."

Malia knelt next to the Jeep wheel. "Stiles." She pulled something out. "I don't think we hit something." She walked toward them with a tusk-bone-looking thing. "I think something hit us."

Leveled Town
Braedan drove down the road on her motorcycle.
Tara's Camaro followed.
They came to a stop at an abandoned, leveled down.
Braedan took off her helmet, getting off her bike.
Tara, Scott, Ari and Adriana got out of the Camaro, walking toward Braedan.
They looked over the town.
"La iglasia," Braedan told them.
"What happened here?" Scott asked.
"An earthquake," Tara answered. "It leveled the town."
"You have no idea how good it feels to not hear Ari explain something," Adriana told them.
"Just ignore Adriana," Ari told them.
Scott ignored Adriana. "Why is the Church still standing?"
"The locals think because of what's underneath," Braedan told them.
"Do we wanna know?" Adriana asked.
"The Church was built over the ruins of an Aztec temple," Tara explained. "It belonged to the people called Nagaul."
"Shapeshifters?" Scott asked.
Tara looked at him. "Werejaguars."
They all looked back at the Church
"So Derek and Kate are somewhere in there?" Adriana asked.
"I don't know, Adriana," Tara told her. "Never been here before."
Braedan sighed. "And I've never gotten this far before."
Braedan turned back for her bike.
Tara, Scott, Adriana and Ari exchanged a look, looking back at the Church, following her.

Stiles and Stacie were trying to fix the Jeep.
Lydia was standing next to them.
Angel was leaning against the Jeep. "Maybe we should just walk."
"Angel, I will never abandon this Jeep," Stiles told her. "You understand me? Ever, Angel. Ever. Ever. And, no, Angel, you and Natalie and the others are not gonna leave without us, either."
Malia, Kira and Natalie were standing a distance away.
Natalie looked over the desert, sensing something that wasn't right. She held her hand toward the Jeep. "Work faster, guys. There's something out here with us."
Angel walked closer. "What is it, Natalie?"
Natalie shook her head in confusion. "I don't know, Angel."

Night - La Iglasia - Outside
Scott, Tara, Ari, Adriana and Braedan walked up to the Church.
Braedan was holding a shotgun, cocking it.
Ari nudged Adriana with her shoulder, nodding to Braedan.
Adriana shook her head with an innocent look.
Ari nodded, giving Adriana a look. "Adriana."
Adriana exhaled with defeat, looking at Braedan. "Sorry... for trying to kill you when I was with the Alpha Pack."
"You were only taking orders from Deucalion, Adriana," Braedan told her.
Adriana looked at Ari smugly. "Told you."
Ari rolled her eyes, looking at Braedan. "If you find Kate in there, what are you gonna do with her?"
"Bring her back to the Calaveras," Braedan answered. They started walking forward again. "That's what they paid me for."
"What happens after that?" Ari asked.
"Not my problem," Braedan told them.
"You don't care?" Ari asked.
"Do you?" Braedan replied. "She's a mass murderer."
"And you're a mercenary," Ari replied.
Braedan sighed. "Girl's gotta eat."
"Is that like your code?" Tara asked.
"Mm-hmm," Braedan answered.
"If you got paid enough, would you kill her?" Scott asked.
Braedan turned to face them, making them stop. "If the money was good, I'd kill the four of you."
Braedan walked away.
Adriana tilted her head. "At least she's honest. Painfully honest."

Inside
Tara kicked the broken wooden planks out of the way.
The group walked inside.
"Can you catch Derek's scent?" Braedan asked.
"Yeah," Tara answered. "I already got it."
When they heard roaring in the distance, Scott held out his arm to stop Braedan.
"What?" Braedan asked.
Scott lowered his arm. "There's something else in here."
"Something like what?" Braedan asked.
"Something not human," Scott answered.
Tara walked along. The others followed.

On the Road
Kira pulled out her sword from the trunk, walking toward Angel, standing next to her.
Natalie and Malia stood nearby.
Stiles and Stacie were still working on the Jeep.
Lydia was holding a flashlight for them.
Stacie reached into the Jeep to pull out her crossbow, setting it up on the roof of the Jeep in case.
"Lydia, could you please just hold the flashlight still for a second?" Stiles asked. "It's hard to see anything if you keep shaking it like that."
"I'm shaking it like this because we're in the middle of nowhere with your broken your broken down Jeep, and we're being attacked by yet another razor-claw monster," Lydia told them. "And I'm terrified."
"Well, just be slightly less terrified," Stacie told her. Lydia gave Stacie a sarcastic look. Stacie pulled something from the engine, holding it out to her. "And hold this."
Lydia took it. "What's this?"
"I don't know," Stacie admitted. "I'm hoping it's not important."
"Stacie, if you hurt my Jeep, I hurt you," Stiles told her.
"Stiles, if you hurt me, I hurt you," Stacie replied.
"That will only hurt you, too, Stacie," Stiles told her. He tilted his head closer to Stacie, tapping his cheek. "But go ahead. Give it a shot. I dare you."
Stacie hit his head, making them both groan, putting a hand to their heads. "Ow!"
"See?" Stiles asked.
"To hurt you was worth the pain," Stacie told him.
Lydia looked as if she was thinking, 'we're gonna die'. "Oh, God."
They could hear Malia, Natalie, Kira and Angel.
"Anything, Natalie?" Angel asked.
Natalie shook her head. "No, Angel. It's too hard to see."
"We should've brought another flashlight," Malia told them.
Kira walked toward the Jeep, holding her sword over the headlight to shine light to a specific spot, including a monster behind a rock. "Did you see that?"
The thing ran away.
Malia let her eyes glow blue, growling, running away.
"Malia, wait!" Stiles told her.
Natalie started to go after her. "Malia!"
"Hey, Natalie!" Stacie told her. "Natalie!"
"Kira, Angel, go!" Lydia told them. "Angel, go!"
Kira grabbed her sword.
Stacie tossed her crossbow to Angel.
Angel caught it.
Kira and Angel ran away after them.
"Malia?" Kira asked.
"Natalie?" Angel called. "Natalie?"
Kira turned around, then forward, holding the sword over her head horizontally.
Behind them, they heard a twig snap and a brush rustling. They both turned around.
Kira yelled, swinging down her sword.
Angel saw a moving target, shooting it.
The arrow went through a bird's head, the bird falling dead.
They heard Natalie's voice. "Nice shooting, Pochantas, you killed a bird." Kira and Angel turned around to see Malia and Natalie, their weapons raised. Malia and Natalie ducked the sword. Natalie raised her arm to stop the crossbow. "It's us! Uh, it's us, it's us."
Kira and Angel both lowered the weapons with sighs.
"Natalie, what happened?" Angel asked. "What's out there?"
Natalie looked behind her. "I don't know, Angel." She looked at Kira and Angel. "But it is big and fast."
Malia was holding her side. "And it cuts deep."
They looked down at her slashed side.
A thud and the Jeep's engine starting made the turn around and run back toward it, Stiles, Stacie and Lydia.

La Iglasia - Corridor
Braedan was leading the way in front of Scott, Tara, Ari and Adriana, leading them down the broken stairs.
Adriana looked at Scott and Tara. "So, how come you two didn't kiss?"
"Shut up, Adriana," Ari told her.
"Ari, shh," Adriana told her, looking at Scott and Tara.
Tara looked at her, trying not to show a reaction. "What?"
"How come you didn't kiss?" Adriana repeated.
"Well, we're not really..." Scott trailed off. Tara looked away. "I mean, we've never actually..." Scott looked at Tara. Tara avoided his gaze. "We're not together."
"You two have known each other for, like, two years, you haven't seen each other in two months, and you obviously care about each other so much you'd take danger or pain onto yourselves so the other doesn't have to go through it," Adriana told them. "And it's pretty freaking obvious. If that's not potential to be in love, I don't know what it is. So, if one or both of you die down here, are you gonna regret not kissing?" They stopped walking. Braedan looked at them. Scott and Tara didn't answer, looking at each other, realizing that they would regret it. Tara looked slightly confused. Adriana looked at them knowingly, tilting her head. "You should've kissed. You still have time..." She looked around. "Though, I wouldn't kiss anyone in a place this creepy."
Tara looked at Adriana in annoyance, walking ahead of the others without looking back.
Braedan watched her go, looking at Scott, Adriana and Ari.
"Tara, uh, doesn't like being put on the spot like that," Scott explained.
"And Adriana has a very powerful habit of putting everyone on the spot like that in a very bad way," Ari added, giving Adriana a look.
Adriana smiled. "Thanks, Ari."
They followed Tara.
They looked around at the cave, tunnel-like corridors, seeing roots, branches, stone walls and ceiling, jagged, mold, spiders and their webs...
Skeletons were moving in the dark, but they were just a collection of bones with no real form.
Ari sensed something, turning to look behind them, but couldn't see anything because it moved too fast.
A scorpion crawled over a skeleton's skull.
The entire skeleton was matted with cob webs.
Ari turned around again, shining the flashlight down the way they had came.
Braedan, Adriana, Scott and Tara looked at her.
"What?" Braedan whispered.
Ari slowly looked at them. "Just had a feeling like something was behind us."
Ari looked down the way.
Nothing was there.
Braedan started to raise her gun.
They started to walk forward again.
When they heard something exhale from behind them, all of them turned around.
"Did you hear that?" Tara asked.
"Is this why you never get that far?" Scott asked.
Whatever it was ran closer, growling, but they couldn't see it through the pitch black darkness through the tunnels.
"Get ready!" Braedan told them.
Braedan fired her gun at the darkness.

Kira, Angel and Malia were in the backseat.
Stiles looked at Malia. "You... You... Please don't do that ever again."
"Do what?" Malia asked.
"I... I thought you just took off," Stiles told her. "I thought you were running."
"I was running," Malia said.
"No, I mean, like, I thought you were leaving," Stiles told her.
Malia looked at him. "I wouldn't leave without you."
"Really?" Stiles asked.
"I would never leave without you," Malia told him. She looked at Stacie. "Or you, anchor girl."
Stacie smiled.
"Stacie, I guess spending some quality time together in Eichen House made it easier to be friends," Angel told her.
"Ha ha, Angel," Stacie told her sarcastically. "Angel, you're so hilarious."
Angel pretended not to notice the sarcasm, smiling. "Thank you, Stacie."
Malia looked at Kira and Angel. "Them I would leave."
"Yeah," Stacie told them. "Uh... it's progress."
Kira looked at Malia's slashed side. "That doesn't look so good."
"It's okay," Malia told them.
"Are you sure?" Kira asked. "It looks deep. Natalie looked worse than you do."
"You and Natalie didn't see anything?" Stacie asked.
Malia shook her head. "Barely. It had a strong scent, though."
"Like what?" Stiles asked.
Malia sighed, looking out of her window. "Death."

La Iglasia - Corridor
Braedan cocked the gun and shot it three more times.
Ari, Scott, Tara and Adriana all backed away.
"Where is it?" Braedan asked. "Do you see it?"
"No, I don't know," Scott told them.
"We can't see anything," Ari told her.
All they saw was darkness.
Braedan reloaded, cocking the gun. "Where is this thing?"
Footsteps were running closer.
"It's coming back, it's coming back," Adriana told them.
It ran closer, roaring.
Braedan looked at them, her voice a whisper. "Guys, get behind me." They didn't listen. "Guys, get behind me!"
"We can roar too," Adriana told them, looking from Ari to Scott.
Tara nodded to them. "Do it."
Ari, Scott and Adriana roared loudly, causing the pieces and dust to fall of the walls and ceilings, and Tara and Braedan to turn away and cover their ears, debris still falling. (slow motion)
They stopped, breathing heavily.
They still heard the growling, but it was distant, far away, like the thing had run away.
Ari looked at them. "Adriana, I think we scared it."
"I think we scared everything, Ari," Adriana told her.
There was a crashing behind them, making them turn to a wall covering the wall.
They symbol carved into the wall covering the wall.
"What is that?" Scott asked. "Tara?"
They all walked closer, getting a closer look at the skull symbol and the designs surrounding it.
"Tezcatlipoca," Tara told them. "The Nagual jaguar god." She nodded to the symbol. They walked closer. "I think we found Derek."
Tara knelt in front of the wall, pressing her ear against it.
They heard a heart beat from the other side.
Tara stood, backing away.
Scott sighed, looking at Ari and Adriana. "Ari, Adriana, can we get some of that super strong twin strength?"
Ari smirked, looking at Braedan. "Stand back."
Braedan took a step back.
Adriana and Ari exchanged a look, nodding, holding hands.
Adriana used her left fist while Ari used her right fist to punch the wall. Their fists were maybe three inches away from each other. The force of their combined strength made more than twenty inches of the wall fall out of the way, breaking into a circle, more than enough room for all five of them to look inside. (slow motion)
Scott, Tara and Braedan started to help Ari and Adriana break away the other pieces, pulling them out.
Braedan shone the light in on Derek in a cement coffin of wolfsbane.
A small hand raised weakly toward them.
Tara was in shock. "Oh, my God."

Stiles, Stacie, Angel, Kira and Malia got out of the Jeep.
Braedan, Adriana and Ari walked closer.
Scott and Tara were helping the person they had found inside outside, with an arm over each their shoulders.
Stacie ran closer immediately, coming to a stop in shock.
Stiles and the other girls stopped next to her.
Malia looked at Stacie. "Is that him? Stacie? Is that Derek?"
Stacie took a second to find the right words. "Uh... sort of."
The person looked up, revealing that it was Young, Teenage Derek from 3.08 Visionary.
