Chapter 9

Olivia's Home (Washington, DC)

Sybil had flown in from Oakland, and Olivia had come to pick her up as they met the others at her apartment. Amanda was gone, disappeared without a trace but Olivia and Sybil knew Cyrus and the President had something to do with it. Mostly Cyrus. After she had got the text, she told her father that she would be back before their plan later that day.

"I can't believe you!" Sybil says as she slams the door they walk to Olivia's door and Quinn opens the door for him. As she walked in, Sybil's skirt fit clung to her body in all the right places.

Everyone stared at her knowing once Sybil was mad, just let her get it out.

"Telling Cyrus that she is pregnant, you lose leverage. Now look what happens. He probably had one of his butt buddies kidnap her. She's probably dead right at this second." Sybil stated as she paced.

Harrison and Quinn tried not to snicker as Olivia rolled her eyes.

"So, any updates, please. Can we find her or find her body at least?" Sybil says.

" Her phone's gone and her purse. She ran away. You told her she would have to go on TV, she freaked out, and she ran away." Quinn comments.

"Okay, anything else?" Sybil questioned.

"Gotta say, as crime scenes go, it's pretty clean. No broken locks, no signs of struggle, and I'm not finding any prints aside from Olivia's and Amanda's." Abby tells them.

"Because it's not a crime scene. Because she ran away." Quinn wanted to believe that the girl was dead.

"Someone is watching you," Huck told Olivia, who was now looking at him.

"What? Who?" Sybil asked.

"What?" Olivia says as she and Sybil share looks.

"Your trash is gone, and it's not trash day, and there's a sedan parked across the street with U.S. government plates, and tinted windows," Huck told her.

"What about Amanda, Huck?" Olivia asked.

"Whoever it was came up through the service elevator, picked the lock on the back door, sedated her, taped her up, got her in a duffel bag. In and out, probably seven minutes, six if they were quick." Huck told them as Sybil stared at him. His look told her it could've been someone like him.

"How do you know?" Olivia questioned.

" That's how he would do it," Sybil answers for him. As he and Sybil had a silent understanding.

DAVID ROSEN'S OFFICE

Sybil and Olivia went to David Rosen's office. This time didn't wait for her outside, she went in with her. David stared at her as if he didn't know her but kind of knew this was Sybil that everyone was talking about.

"My secretary has a standing order to stop you from walking in here. Alissa, you're fired." David called out.

"One of my clients is missing," Olivia told him.

"Have you looked in jail? You often seem to find them there." David remarked to her.

"Her name is Amanda Tanner. She's 27 and she was staying in Olivia's apartment. I have flown here to Washington, DC to help with this case and she's very important to our case."  Sybil countered looking at David, her hands holding on to the chair.

" How long has she been gone?" David asked Olivia.

" Five, six hours," Olivia answered.

"You consider that missing? That's barely enough time to rack up a good bar tab." David remarked.

" Oh, God." Olivia almost rolled her eyes as Sybil looked amused.

"What's wrong?" David asked.

"I know I ask a lot of you, but this Amanda thing is big. She's a good kid and she was under my protection. Can you help me find her?" Olivia told him. She and Davia stared at each other as he thought about it.

" I'll see what I can do," David says and Sybil smiles at Olivia, who smiles back before she responds.

" Thank you, David. Don't fire Alissa. We snuck in while she was in the bathroom." Olivia says as Sybil nods before they leave leaving David looking at them.

Jax's Pov/ Third's Pov

Jax and the boys were in county jail. They had managed to get help on the inside. Marcus had given them the okay that he would have their back. They sat in their jail cell together as they talked.

"Pope finds out Brown has our back, he's gonna find other ways to hurt us," Chibs tells them.

"Aryans," Jax says. Now he wished he had Sybil's card.

"Yeah, and the guards. All these greedy bastards are on the take." Chibs replies.

The door opened showing a guard making the two get up. The guard looks at them.

"Teller. Let's go" The guard ordered as he motioned him outside. Jax and Chibs looked at each other concerned.

"For what?" Jax questioned.

"You shut your mouth and get your ass out here." The guard yelled making Jax look at Chibs again before following the guard.

Damon's Pov/Third's Pov

Damon handed the envelope full of cash to the Warden. As the warden moved over to put the money in his drawer away from sight, there was a knocking on the door.

"Come in." The warden told whoever was at the door.

Damon sat on the couch arm with his legs crossed as Jax Teller came in. Damon could see he was looking for Sybil. He's already depending on her. That's good, once his plan goes through Sybil will have his trust.

"Sit down. You want me to cuff him?" The warden asked.

"Nope. We're good." Damon replied before the warden left leaving the two of them.

"Relax. Just here to talk." Damon pointed out as he watched Jax.

"Yeah? Is that what you told Tig's girl before you set her on fire? Jax questioned as Damon tried to bite back a smile.

"Let's not discuss the tragedy of dead girls. That's an argument you'd lose. Sybil would think the same." Damon says as he stares at Jax.

"Look, I tried to reach out to you, somehow make this right. I even sat down with Sybil. What the hell do you want, man?" Jax asked.

"My daughter has her plans and motives. You were able to get protection inside. Profitable relationships with the Galindo cartel, Real IRA, guns, and coke. You guys are too smart. Too, uh, ambitious." Damon spoke.

"For a bunch of white trash bikers?" Jax contradicted.

"To kill. Now, I know you're not dealing with the coke, you're mulling it. What's your end? You didn't think I'd find out?" Damon stated.

"A hundred per shipment," Jax said.

"Now 50 of that is mine," Damon says.

"That's not gonna happen without a..." Jax started before getting cut off.

"This is not a discussion. This is about you learning how to survive. Now, Trager stays inside for the rest of his life. I'll make sure he's treated accordingly. This way, every time I think about my daughter, I know where he is and what's being done to him. I need a dead Son for the Niner and the cop you killed. It maintains my relationships. I don't care who. The commander knows about it. He'll set it up. When that happens, witnesses are no longer witnesses and you get out to earn." Damon tells him.

"Come on, man. I'm not just gonna kill one of my guys." Jax sighs.

"Yes, you are. Before the next guard shift. The cost of doing battle." Damon declared.

"I'm not going to war," Jax spoke.

"You're already in it, Son," Damon told him as he let the guard know that he was done as the guard took Jax away.

OLIVIA POPE AND ASSOCIATES

Sybil sat in her chair in their meeting room. She watched the news with everyone. The other case was a sad one and she felt bad for the families of the victims.

"Early indications from the black box recording indicate that the airport tower tried to communicate with the pilot."

"Damn it. They already leaked what was on the black box? Somewhere in that recording is the truth. We need our copy. " Olivia says as she paced.

"I'll get Huck on it," Harrison says as he looks at Sybil before she nods.

"Pleas from the first officer also appear to have been ignored."

"I was this close to getting the mechanic's report," Stephen told them.

"What happened? I lost my superpowers." Olivia questioned.

" I'm engaged. I can't use every tool in the box anymore." Stephen says as Sybil gasps.

"You did it! Oh my god! When?" Sybil cheered before hugging him.

"A few nights ago, after you left." Stephen smiled.

"I'm proud of you." Sybil smiled back at him before Abby coughed to get their attention.

"And by tool, you would mean you..." Abby started.

"Okay. Just find another tack, Stephen. We need those reports. Abby." Olivia stated.

" The bartender confirms that both pilots and all six flight attendants were drinking," Abby told them.

"Wait didn't Manifest listed five, not six?" Sybil says as she sits at the table.

"It did," Olivia answered.

"You think one of 'em didn't make the flight?" Harrison states.

"Black box recording," Huck states.

"How'd you get it?" Harrison asked Huck.

"N.T.S.B. server. Kid's play. Olivia and Sybil, may I talk to you?" Huck asked them.

" Check the airline schedule. See what attendants were supposed to fly 684." Olivia told them as Sybil got off the table.

"Got it," Abby replied.

" In your office?" Huck asked as Sybil and Olivia shared looks before she gave the crew the rest of the work.

"See what other flight crews were passing through Philly that night," Olivia says.

"Got it," Stephen responds.

"Where's Quinn? Has anybody seen Quinn?" Olivia questioned as Sybil looked around now seeing that Quinn wasn't in the room.

" I think she went out. Where's the manifest?" Abby asked.

"On my desk," Sybil stated making Abby nod before She and Olivia went into Olivia's office with Huck following them.

"She's dead," Huck stated right off the back.

"What?" Sybil asked with a hand over her mouth.

" If there is a missing flight attendant who is alive right now, we need to find her before the airline does," Olivia says.

"Olivia, you know damn well he's not talking about that damn case," Sybil says.

"Amanda Tanner is dead!" Huck shouted.

"Are you sure?" Olivia asked as Sybil looked outside at the sedan that had been watching Olivia.

"I know what to do. Huck just in case anything happens cover me." Sybil told Huck as she grabbed her gun and started walking out of the building. Olivia could only watch. Sybil walked like a woman on a mission as she walked to the car. She taps on the glass using the gun.

"Hello, we haven't met, but you tell your buddy on the radio in your ear and you tell that President of yours that we know what he did. And if you come around here again, it will be real war. Your President would not like my war. So, this war thing is over. And you tell that sorry piece of shit Cyrus that's its game on. " Sybil tells the guy that followed her command before she left.

OLIVIA POPE AND ASSOCIATES

Sybil had just gotten off the phone with her father when she encountered Quinn and Olivia with a mystery man.

"Guys, who's this?" Sybil asked.

"Hank Tanner. I'm Amanda's father. Uh, it's a pleasure to meet you." Hank replied.

"Ahh?" Sybil looked at Olivia.

"I stopped by Amanda's place and found Mr. Tanner outside," Quinn told them.

" Amanda said that she came to work for you after she left the White House." Hank covers her.

Sybil wanted to ask Quinn why she was at her apartment.

"Yes, that's right." Olivia agreed.

" I don't mean to be a bother here, but, uh, I've been talking to Mandy every day since she was in the hospital, and then I haven't heard anything from her, so I decided to come up here and make sure that everything was all right. Her mother is worried about her." Hank says.

"It's okay, Mr. Tanner. Everything's going to be fine. I promise." Quinn says the one word that they never should say at all. The one word that Olivia forbids. She had promised.

"Mr. Tanner, you look like you could use a cup of tea. Quinn, would you help me get some tea for Mr. Tanner?" Olivia leads Quinn away.

"Come, Mr. Tanner let's get you a seat. Tell me all about Amanda." Sybil says as she leads him to a seat where she can hear Olivia's conversation with Quinn.

"Thank you," Hank said as Sybil muttered "You're welcome" before they sat down.

"What you did do back there? You made a promise. We don't make promises."-Olivia

"But-"- Quinn

"Amanda Tanner is dead."-Olivia

"Wh-" Quinn

"She's dead."- Olivia

" How do you know?"-Quinn

"We know. But we can't tell him we know because we're not supposed to know, and there is nobody. So right now, we're gonna go back in there and give that nice man a cup of tea and tell him we are doing everything in our power to find his daughter. And don't ever promise an outcome we can't deliver. "-Olivia

OLIVIA POPE AND ASSOCIATES/WHITE HOUSE

Sybil's phone started ringing, showing the number she didn't want to see.

"I'm sorry, sir. I have to take this." Sybil says before she and Olivia lock eyes as she points to her phone making Olivia nod. She walked to her office and closed the door.

"Are we on a secure line?" Sybil asked as she sat on her office chair, crossing her legs.

"Says the crazy lady with the gun. Why the hell are you threatening my agents? starting a war with Cyrus are you crazy!?!?" Fitz tells Sybil.

"Maybe, they were following Olivia you think I let that slide? Fitz, you know me. You don't want to know that me, I would fuck all that shit up." Sybil replied.

Fitz didn't want to meet her, but he just loved hearing her voice. Her beautiful voice that he loves so much.

" You told them that you guys know what I did to her. To who? Amanda Tanner?" Fitz questioned her.

"Playing dumb doesn't suit you," Sybil remarked.

"Sybil, either say what you mean or stop-" Fitz started but was cut off.

" You're such a hypocrite you know that. You want to go to war with Olivia fine, but you don't go around making a witness a casualty. That's playing dirty. That's what you did wrong. You and Cyrus played dirty. So, what, Amanda was pregnant. Women and Children are off limits." Sybil argued as Fitz listened because he knew just like everyone else let her get off what she had to say before saying something.

"Amanda's dead?" Fitz sat up as he spoke to Sybil.

"She has a dad. A nice man who's looking for his daughter. How do you think he's gonna feel when he finds out that the man he voted for had his daughter killed?  You're lucky her father isn't like mine." Sybil remarked.

"I didn't do this. You know me. You know I didn't do this." Fitz pleads his case.

"I don't know anymore. You're not the man that I know you to be." Sybil states.

"Sybil, Sybil hey it wasn't me. I didn't do this." Fitz almost begging.

"I was upset to hear when she was having your baby. Is this what would've happened if we had children of our own? Would you have Cyrus kill me and our children? So, you wouldn't have a dirty little secret." Sybil almost wanted to cry for Amanda who didn't deserve to die. She fell for a powerful man just like she did.

"Sybil, baby no. No one would've touched you. I would've killed anyone who tried. Baby, I didn't make the call. " Fitz pleads.

"Then we both know who did," Sybil stated.

"Sybil," Fitz says.

"You let Cyrus off his leash. That's on you" Sybil tells him before hanging up leaving him to think about what she said.

Jax's Third Pov:

Jax was brought back to his cell, where Opie waited for him.

"What happened?" Opie questioned Jax.

"I'll fill everyone in," Jax told Opie as they both walked to meet up with Chibs and Tig.

"Aren't you getting tired of this?" Opie asked Jax.

"Lockup or being confused by your vague questions?" Jax asked back.

"I don't know, it just ain't fun anymore. Chasing cash, we don't need and spending every dime trying to stay alive." Opie tells him. They finally met up with Chibs and Tig.

"American dream," Jax replied before Chibs spoke to Jax.

"Where they take you?" Chibs questioned.

"The warden's office," Jax said.

"Facetime with Damon Pope," Jax added.

"Sybil wasn't with him?" Chibs asked.

Who's Sybil?" Opie asked.

"No. Pope's oldest daughter." Jax says to Opie.

"The angel in white," Tig states that Jax and Chibs knew what he was talking about.

"Shit man. That guy's got everybody tapped." Chibs said.

"I was hoping she could help us out," Jax spoke.

"You didn't keep her number," Chibs asked.

"It's with my belongings that they took from us," Jax told them.

"He gave me his demands," Jax added.

" He wants me dead," Tig says.

"He didn't say that. He wants half our mailing to be earned. 50 K per shipment." Jax told them.

"What else?" Opie asked.

"I'm not sure. He's gonna have a guard fill me in." Jax lied to them, but Opie knew he was hiding something.

"And what? What does that mean?" Chibs questioned.

" We'll find out," Jax responded.

OLIVIA POPE AND ASSOCIATES

Sybil and Huck looked at Olivia doing a press conference.  Sybil's arms crossed.

I'd like to correct, in the strongest terms possible the idea that the pilot, Lori Mackelson, had been drinking the night before the crash. She had not, and we have a witness to that effect. A little history about Lori. She was married to Andrew Mackelson for 17 years. They have two boys Carter, age 15, and Jonathan, age 12.

"Huck, can you do something for me?" Sybil asked.

"You want the body," Huck stated as they both stared at the screen.

"I know what I'm asking. And if it's too much for you, if you don't want to, you can say no. That'll be the end of it. We'll find another way." Sybil tells Him.

Huck would do anything for her. He knew it and she knew it.

" I'll take care of it," Huck whispered back.

"Huck, you need reeling in, you call me. I'll come for you." Sybil says as she rubs his arm, giving him comfort as always.

" I got this. I'm good to go. No problem." Huck nodded as he walked away from her. She watched him before checking the time. She went to write a note to Olivia and the others before leaving. Going back to Oakland as she went to get ready for their plan.

Jax/Third's Pov:

Jax and the boys were in the yard when they heard the guard on the intercom telling them that the yard was closing. Jax remembered that it would soon switch guards as he spoke to Chibs.

"Hey. Yō, yard duty up already? Cutting back on guards. Bring half of us in before shift change." Jax heard someone say before he spoke to Chibs.

"Shit. Hey. The guard I got to speak to is in solitary. We got to do this now, before the shift change. You with me?" Jax told Chibs.

"Yeah." Chibs agreed before Jax told the Mayan helping to protect them.

"We got to take this one alone, ese. You know what I mean?" Jax told him as the Mayan nodded before they all started a fight.

"Ho! What the hell?" Jax yelled as the Mayans yelled.

"Come on, guys, get these cracker bitches!" As they fought Jax and his crew.

"The guards scrambled to stop the riot as the intercom called off the fights. They pushed the inmates to the ground to stop the fighting.

"Face in. Two to a room. No yard time. One meal. Yeah, my big, black dick." One guard says as he tries to put Tig on the ground.

"Who said that? All I see is teeth." Tig responded receiving a hit from the guard.

"What did you say?" The guard shouted.

"Save that shit for the box! Now get your ass up. You, too. Get up! Get back in line." He shouted before picking up Tig and they started moving inside.

WHITE HOUSE - OVAL OFFICE

"Digrazzo flipped! It took a lot of pork and a guarantee of heavy campaigning from you in New Jersey come midterms. We're only two away now." Cyrus told Fitz almost cheering.

"Amanda Tanner's dead," Fitz stated.

"How sad." Cyrus mocked.

"Aren't you gonna ask how it happened?" Fitz questions him.

"No. Should I?" Cyrus asked.

" A young woman died—a member of this administration. Sybil swears war on you. And you telling me. Should you?" Fitz yells.

'Oh, please nobody's afraid of the mobster's daughter." Cyrus rolled his eyes. Fitz couldn't believe him. He didn't even want to question how he even knew about Damon Pope.

" I said how sad I was. You didn't hear me? I'll say it again. How sad. Let's lower the flags." Cyrus states.

"For God's sake, Cy, show some respect. "Fitz shouted.

"128 innocent Americans, children, mommies and daddies and best friends and husbands and wives died in that plane crash yesterday. That's sad. We lost one of the few sane and worthy members of the Senate yesterday. That's sad. Four Navy S.E.A.L.S died in Afghanistan, and that doesn't even touch Sudan, Congo, or northern Mexico. That's sad. But the disturbed girl who made it her life's mission to take down this administration, the one who was happily no, gleefully carrying your illegitimate bastard child she's no longer with us? Well, I'm sorry if I'm not sitting shivah. I'm sorry if I can't help but see the millions of people that we'll be able to help now that Amanda Tanner is gone. I am sorry, but this is a good thing. It is a good thing for us. It is a good thing for the country." Cyrus argued as Fitz looked at him like he was crazy.

It was moments after the fiasco with Cyrus that Mellie had come in.

" What happened to McKinley? I was just getting used to seeing his judge-y face every morning." Fitz says.

" He's being restored. His judge-y face got flaky. What's your preference Madison or Van Buren? Van Buren has a certain wisdom about him. What's bothering you?" Mellie replied.

" I think we're gonna pass the D.R.E.A.M. Act. Cyrus is on it like a dog with a bone. You know he called Sanchez' widow?" Fitz mentioned.

"Good. It needs to be passed." Mellie told Fitz.

"Still, there should be limits. We're political animals. We're not animals. Sometimes I think he's too willing to go to extremes. Fitz pointed out to Mellie. Mellie looked at the two secret service agents that had always been there for him.

"Tom, Hal, would you come here, please? Tom?" Mellie called out as the two walked inside.

"Yes, ma'am?" Tom questioned.

"You would take a bullet for the President, wouldn't you?" Mellie asked Tom.

"Yes, ma'am," Tom answered.

"Hal?" Mellie looked at the other secret service agent.

"Yes, ma'am, I would. " Hal answered before she shooed them away.

"Thank you. That's all. There isn't a person in this building who isn't willing to go to extremes for you. " Mellie told Fitz.

Jax/Third's Pov:

Opie and Jax were in their solitary cell together as Opie finally asked him about the lie that he told them.

"What aren't you telling us? Lying by omission is still lying, and you suck at it." Opie remarked to Jax.

Before Jax could answer, the door buzzed. The shift change guard came in.

"You the one calling it?" The guard asked Jax.

"I guess." Jax comments before the guard looks at Opie.

" I need a minute alone." The guard told Opie before Jax stopped him.

"He can stay," Jax told as the guard let Opie stay before he told them the plan.

"Word from upstairs is one of your four leaves in a bag. Pick the guy. I'll handle the rest." The guard says to Jax as Opie now looks at Jax knowing what he wasn't telling them.

"And what's the rest?" Jax asked.

"We go to the box after the shift change. He fights... until he loses. I'm guessing it's one of the other two. I need to know which one. We got a little action going... put odds on how long he'll last. I'll give you a few minutes to figure it out." The guard told them and exited the room.

"Pope wants Tig to rot inside. And he wants a dead Son for the Niner and the cop we killed. I'm treading water here, Ope. I had no idea how to keep everyone alive. I miss your old man." Jax explained to Opie before sighing.

"Yeah, me, too." Opie understood.

"Tara found some letters. Maureen Ashby stuffed them in my gear. They were love letters between her and my dad. They made it pretty clear that JT wanted to get us out of g*n, and Clay didn't want it. JT predicted that Clay was gonna kill him. Specifically, that he would sabotage his bike, and he was right." Jax tells Opie.

"Yeah, that's... that's insane." Opie thought about it.

"Tara told Piney, Ope. She was digging into him for the truth. It's when we were inside. When the cartel shit went down, Piney must've threatened Clay with the letters." Jax added. Opie had a realization of why Clay killed his father.

"So, that's... that's why Clay killed my old man?" Opie asked before he rushes at Jax as they fight.

"Yeah," Jax said before he saw Opie rush at him.

"Stop!" Jax grunted as they fought before Opie pushed him to the wall.

"Why didn't you let me kill him? Why didn't you let me kill him?" Opie repeated in anger.

"There's a RICO case pending against the club. Otto gave up Bobby." Jax panting as he told him.

" How do you know?" Opie probed.

" Romeo is doing double time. He's a cartel and CIA. He put a pin in RICO so we could keep the big guns and drugs flowing. That pin gets pulled; we all go down." Jax replied.

" And Clay doesn't know." Opie looked at Jax as he spilled the beans.

"Just me and Bobby. Clay is the only one that Galan will sell big guns to. Romeo needs him alive. That's it, Ope. That's all the truth. I had to make a choice, brother. kill Clay or save the club." Jax stated.

" You made the wrong choice." Opie pointed out with a look.

The door had buzzed letting them know that the shift guard was back in the room.

"Looks like you two came to a decision. Which guy goes?" The shift guard asked.

"We're still working it out." Opie comments.

"We just want to make sure we cover the spread." Jax looked at Opie before looking back at the shift guard.

"Bad idea. This is my hell, bitch. I make the rules. If you don't pick which guy fights, I will." The shift guard stays before leaving slamming the door in his wake.

"You all right?" Opie asked after the shift guard was gone.

"Yeah." Jax says.

" What're you gonna do?" Opie asked Jax before he answered.

"Pick the guy."

Sybil's/Third's Pov:

Sybil made it home just in time to get ready for the plan. She took a shower before getting dressed in her usual business attire. She sprayed her usual perfume before August stood at her door.

"Are you ready?" August asked.

"Let's get this over with," Sybil said as she and August left.

Opie had just taken the spot inside the cage with other inmates as the shift guard and guards stood on the other side. Opie begins fighting for his life, giving hands to the inmates who tried to beat him up. He had people to live for and his family. Jax, Chibs, and Tig watched from behind the window hopelessly. Jax wishes for someone to help him, help them. Chibs had seen the Guards drop weapons inside as the inmates started picking them up. Opie wasn't going to give up.

One of the inmates got one hit in before the door was kicked in, showing the face Jax and Chibs were too familiar with.

"Sorry boys change of plans. He lives." Sybil says which the inmates aren't too happy with as one rushes towards her lifting the bar. She punches him in his throat before shooting him in the head—the next one rushes to her before it ends in the same results. Jax watched in amazement as the girl took down all five inmates. August came in to take Opie out as she killed the inmates.

August's teachings came in handy as she kneed one inmate while punching another resulting in headshots. Once she was done, she walked near the guards as the shift manager walked down. She paid him for his silence before going over to the room that held Jax, Chibs, and Tig.

"Jax, lucky I came right on time," Sybil told him.

"Thank you" That's all Jax could say. She had saved his best friend that's the least he could do.

"You're welcome. Saving your friend Jax, you owe me. I went against my father for you." She said to him.

"I didn't ask you to," Jax tells her.

"Well, I did, I saved your friend, but you'll have to pretend he's dead. Whatever spot you can put him do it.  Soon I'm going to contact you soon. We'll be real good partners you and I." Sybil says once more before leaving. Jax and Chibs let out a breath while Tig stared as she left. She had helped them, but could he be grateful for her help after she killed his daughter?

Once they got Opie in the medical station, Sybil and August left to back home. Her father would speak to Jax in the morning about 'Opie's death' and soon the next plan would start.

WHITE HOUSE - OVAL OFFICE

Fitz sat at his desk as he thought about his day from Sybil being mad at him to the nonexistent war between them and Olivia. The tape with him and Sybil's moans on the tape that blackmailers are using against him. He knew Sybil would be in her family house in Oakland and he just couldn't wait to see her when she was in town, so he called out to his secret agents.

"Hal? Tom? Can you guys come in here a second, please? What if I wanted to get out of here?" Fitz asked as his agents stop in front of his desk.

"Sir?" Tom looked at Hal about to disagree before Fitz stopped him.

" The press corps lid is on. The staff has all gone home. What if I wanted to leave?" He repeated after making a point.

"I don't think...that's not possible, sir." Tom disagreed.

"You're gonna tell me 41 never left? Okay, seriously. 42? Bill Clinton. William Jefferson Clinton never left?" Fitz told them.

" I wouldn't know anything about past Presidents." Told replies as Hal and him shared a look.

" Kennedy never left the White House in secret? What am I, born yesterday?" Fitz questioned.

" Sir, we have no knowledge of-" Hal interrupted.

"I want to go somewhere spontaneously. How do I do that?" Fitz stated.

"I would inform our immediate supervisor at the Secret Service, who'd inform the head of the Secret Service and the White House press secretary, who'd inform the White House press corps. 150 individuals would assemble, along with your bulletproof presidential limousine, your chase and follow car, your ambulance, two unmarked vehicles, as well as the shoot and the marine guard." Tom explained.

"No. I need the plane. What about that?" Fitz told them making Hal and Tom share looks.

"Sir?" Tom started.

"I just need to the plane and pilot." Fitz says.

"Technically, the President of the United States is allowed to refuse the protection of secret service, but, uh" Hal started.

""But, uh," what?" Fitz wondered.

"It needs to be approved by the Secretary of the Treasury, sir. And recorded in the National Record." Hal stated.

"And the plane. I need the plane." Fitz tells them.

"We'll have to speak to the head pilot but-." Hal started.

"I'm not a prisoner." Fitz stated.

"No, sir." They spoke.

"I am the most powerful man on the planet." Fitz tells them.

"Yes, sir." They stated.

"But I can't leave my house." Fitz says.

"No, sir." They responded.

"You see where I might be a little bit annoyed?" Fitz comments.

"Yes, sir." They stared at their president.

" I am a grown man. I am going to leave here. If I have to walk out to the staff parking lot with you two following me, jump into someone's 1994 Civic and drive off to a plane without protection, I am going to leave. I would like to be safe and not jeopardize the economy of this country when I did so. Can you come up with a way to make that happen?" Fitz tells his agents.

"Two sedans, covered parking, one sharpshooter, and your ambulance. And the plane." Tom compromised.

"One sedan and covered parking. No shoot and no ambulance. And the plane." Fitz said back.

" One sedan, covered parking, no shoot, we keep the ambulance and add two agents and the plane." Tom tells them.

"Sold." Fitz said before leaving to back an overnight bag.

" Just like 43." Hal said to Tom before he agreed.

"Yeah." before going to call the pilot to get ready.
