Marriage plan

Janu's POV

Flashback continues

I came to know about Single man helping hands organization through my friend Suhana. Her family's requirements were satisfied by this organization. Her father, mother and grandfather got infections and they were admitted in the medical section of the organization. My friend called me and informed me about the organization and she gave me the address.

I was very curious to visit the organization and to meet the person who was running the organization. I reached the organization and met my friend. Now, my friend was confident and it is clearly visible in her eyes. I was happy about it.

I looked at the organization and it was not large in size as I thought but the number of people staying there was more. It was clean and tidy. There were separate rooms for orphan kids, old age people,  for men and women.
I wondered about the person who was running this organization heartfully. Now, I stabbed in my heart to meet the person who was human in Godly form.

My friend took me to the medical section where her family was getting treatment. Only one person was allowed to enter inside. My friend signalled me to go in and before entering, my friend gave me the cloves to wear. I entered inside and found that around 25 people were getting treatment in that big room. I found Suhana's parents and they identified me.

A few minutes later, the doctor came and observed the patients. Then, he prescribed certain medicines. Similarly, he continued for everyone admitted there. Then, he came to observe Suhana's parents and I looked at him badly. I guess he was one running the organization. His face is very much familiar to me. I was thinking 'who is he?' by twisting my fingers. He talks to Suhana's parents well and then he turned towards me and said, "Don't worry, your parents are getting normal. Here is the medical receipt," He had written something and give it to me. I nodded looking at him. He was flawlessly beautiful both mentally and physically.

A few minutes later, I went out to meet my friend who was standing out. I gave the medical receipt to her and took money from my bag for getting the medicine.

She smiled at me back and get the medical receipt alone. Then, we get medicines from the pharmacy there and everything is free of cost. I was wondering again how could a person help others selflessly?

"Suhana, who is running the organization? Is that doctor who is observing the patients?" I asked doubtfully.

"Yes, Janu. He is Akshadh Jai. He has a good heart and because of him only we were alive today. He gave new life to thousands of people around," she said sentimentally.

"Akshadh Jai? I heard this name already and I have seen him before"

"Yes Janu, he came to our college once as chief guest. You were absent on that day," she said making me remember about him. I have heard about him a lot before. Now, years passed I couldn't identify him at first.

A few minutes later, I reached home. My heart and mind were fully occupied by his thoughts. I can't sit idle without thinking about him.

I went every day to see him. I never missed a chance. He was very busy and I admired his services and humanity for people. Day by day he came closer to me.

Two weeks later,

The flood-affected areas came to normal life. People started busy in their activities and works.

I got a call from my friend Suhana that she took her parents and grandfather to home.

Again, I visited the organization to meet Akshadh. I was waiting for him but found nowhere. That day, new doctors examined the patients. I came to know that he went to Delhi.

"When will Akshadh sir return back here?" I asked the nurse.

"We are not sure, Madam"

"Will you inform me about his arrival? It is something important," I pleaded.

I returned from there with disappointment. My heart was heavy and I couldn't pass my day without him.

Ten days passed by hardly,

I informed about the departure to Delhi to my parents. They permitted me as thinking that I am going to meet my cousin who is in Delhi.

I went to the organization again and get his visiting card. He was working in a famous hospital in Delhi. I knew the hospital very well. I reached Delhi that evening.

I stayed at my cousin's home. She was loving and very affectionate towards me. We were close friends from our childhood itself. We have no secrets but this time I hide about Akshadh.

I knew it is very difficult to meet Akshadh so I tried my level best to get an appointment. I was very happy and tension occupied me.

The next day, I dressed neatly and went to his hospital. It was 25th token. I was waiting from morning to evening patiently.

"Madam, Sir cancelled your appointment without a proper reason, you can't meet him as he was very busy today. Now, he was examining the patients alone. Try next time,"

I felt like crying. I reached home sadly. I worried about my grieve situation.

The next day, I visited the hospital earlier.

After waiting, I asked the nurse, "When will Akshadh sir come?"

"Madam, he went to the U.S by today morning,"

Tears flooded in my eyes.

"When will he return back?"

"May be within a week,"

"Okay, thanks," I returned from there crying. I love him even before having converse between us. I can't even meet him then how could I confess my love for him? I got mood off and my thinking takes me to hell.

I stayed in Delhi for more than a week and he didn't come back.

I reached Mumbai back.

That day, I got a call from my close friend Manvi, who was married and settled in the U.S. Both my friend and her husband were interested in social service and they had few orphanages. They had a sweet little baby, Allen.

"Janu, How about you and your family?" She loved my family a lot.

"Heyyy Manvi, we are all fine. How about you, Anna and Allen?"

"We all are fine by God's grace," replied her.

Our chit chats ended by the next fifteen minutes. I remembered our old days and it gives a big smile in my face.

Thinking of Akshadh, I forget my smile. Day by day my hopes get deteriorating.

Two months later,

I never even think in my dreams that this day would come in my life. I got a call from my friend Manvi.

"Hey, Janu. I have sent you a photo in WhatsApp. See it and call me back," she ended the call.

I loaded the photo. I was shocked and surprised to see Akshadh photo. My hand started shivering and my heart raced about few kilometres.

Why did she send his photo? I didn't tell my feelings for him to anyone. My head was spinning right at that moment. I gathered all my strength and called her.

"Janu, Did you see the photo?"

"Yes," I replied. My whole body was shivering.

"Janu, He is Akshadh. He is a famous oncologist and my husband's close friend. He is equal to my brother. He is good in all ways and he perfectly matches you. I have talked about him to your parents. They were happy about giving you to him. If you are okay to marry him, I will proceed further," she said keeping a big ice piece in my head. Is it real or a dream? I was happy and butterflies started flying in my stomach.

"If my parents and you like him then I am okay," I said slowly. How a friend could understand her friend without even sharing anything she is very sweet.

I jumped out of joy and happiness without knowing the plan of fate.
