"Ok daddy! When will you take me to home? I wished to stay with you both," said Allen. I looked at Dhiya and Dhiya looked at me without replying.

"Tomorrow, we will take you to home, Allen," said Dhiya.

"Ok mumma, I am very happy,"

Ok! "Have this food, Allen. Let me feed you,"

Few minutes later, Dhiya feed food to Allen. She ate everything. Then, she gave the prescribed tablets to her. Allen was adamant to have it.

"Allen baby, You are so sweet right?" I asked her.

"Yes daddy!"

"Then, have the tablets so that you will get discharged from the hospital and as you wished we shall be together,"

"Ok daddy!" She had the tablet. Within few minutes, she slept peacefully.

It was about 8.00 p.m. Let me drop Dhiya to her flat.

"Ok Dhiya! Let us go,"

"Will Allen be alone here?" She asked caringly.

"No Dhiya! A special Nurse was there to look up Allen. Don't worry about her,"

"Ok Akshadh," then she kissed Allen.

Within few minutes, We went to the restaurant and had the dinner. Then,I dropped Dhiya in her flat and bid bye to her.

Then I drove towards hospital. If I tell Dhiya that I would stay in hospital then she would never accept to go to her flat. She looked very tired. Let her sleep peacefully there.

I reached the hospital and spend the whole night with Allen. Allen slept peacefully. Though, it is new place to me, sleep hugged my eyelids and I slept.

"Daddy! Daddy," I heard Allen's voice and I rubbed my eyes. I get up from the bed immediately.

"Allen!" I caressed her hair.

"Did you sleep here with me Daddy? I was not aware about it. Why didn't you wake me up?"

"Yes my dear...I left you thinking, Let my daughter sleep peacefully," I touched her soft chin.

She got up and hugged me as I was sitting in the bed facing her
"I love you daddy, Did mumma went to home?"

"Yes,baby"

"Then, who will comb my hair? She has no responsibility." Said Allen makes me to laugh.

"Not like that betti, Mumma looked very tired so I compelled her and take her to home,"

"Yes! I knew daddy. I just said for fun," she said and laughed. I was seeing her smiling face after long time.

"Let me refresh, daddy. Help me to get down from bed," she said sweetly.

I took her and leave her in rest room. After few minutes, she came back. I took her up and placed her in my lap. Then, I comb her hair (bony tail hairstyle, only I knew this kind of hairstyle) She looked her in mirror and smiled. Meanwhile, the waiter brought breakfast for Allen and I feed her. She ate and in between she feed me with her tiny fingers. Tear drops rolled from my eyes.

"Why are you crying, daddy!"

"Iam not crying my betti, It is my happy tears. You are my second mom. Don't ever try to leave me because you are my world!" I said genuinely, seriously and painfully.

"No daddy! I will never ever leave you," She hugged my head.

Meanwhile the doctors came to examine her and I came out to pick up Dhiya.

I went to Dhiya's flat and pressed the door bell. She opened the door.

"Come in Akshadh! How is Allen?" She asked drying her hair by towel.

"Fine, Dhiya"

"Did you have breakfast?" She asked caring.

"Yes!"

"Oh! But you are not full and your eyes are complaining. I prepared chapati, Akshadh. Come and let us have it,"

"No, Dhiya. You have it,"

"Then, no need for me too," she said adamantly. This girl is very adamant!!!

"Ok Dhiya! Let us have together,"

We had chapathies with side paneer~peas gravy. It was very delicious like my mom's preparation.

"Your husband is very lucky to have you, Dhiya," I said honestly.

"Oh really?" She pouted

"Nowadays, Girls don't know anything about cooking but you are different from them.. Good Dhiya, keep it up,"

She smiled and bend her head down with shyness.

Akshadh wait for 5 minutes, I will get ready and come now. Read this newspaper or switched on the T.v. She gave the newspaper and TV remote in my hand.

Five minutes!!! I heard before that girls would take around atleast 30 minutes to 1hour to get ready. Now 9.00a.m and hopefully she will come around 9.30 a.m.

Then, I switched ON the T.V and searched for news channel.

I watched Top 10 news about politics, Economics, services, sports. In the services news, the service nomination list of 2019 was out. I was surprised and shocked to see the first nominee as my photo with name on the T.v screen. Next comes the name Januvika (Janu) with her picture appeared on the screen.
Janu!!! I heard the name already in social services, a very familiar name. Also, I have seen her somewhere before but I didn't remember now. Next the third nominee, Dr.Prasath who is working in our hospital.

Dhiya's POV

I knew Akshadh will come to pick up me and he would take me to restaurant to have breakfast. He didn't like U.S foods so I thought of preparing our area's special foods for him. I got up early in the morning and prepared Chapathi with side Paneer~peas gravy.
Then I went to take shower. I heard the bell sound, then I tied the towel in my hair and came out. I opened the door and he came correctly.

Then, we had our breakfast. I am happy that he liked it.

I came to my room. I wore my favorite navy blue tops with combo pants. I tied my hair to bony tail. Then, I applied a moisturizer in my face and hands. Then, compact powder for touch up to give finish looks. Then, added mascara to eyes and lip balm to lips. I used my favorite perfume, I am ready. I took 10 minutes.

Then, I stepped towards Akshadh. He was watching the news channel seriously.

"Akshadh, I am ready. I took five minutes extra, I am sorry for that," then I grabbed my hand back.

"No problem Dhiya," he said and switched off the T.V

Without delay, we reached the hospital. As soon as we entered the hospital, we got the discharge bill. Akshadh sanctioned the money to the hospital. We came to the room, Allen was waiting for us.

"Daddy, Doctor said that I was perfectly alright. Hereafter I won't trouble you both" she said sweetly but her words were painful.

"I never ever think you as trouble, my dear Allen. Let us go to home," said Akshadh. I took her bag packed with dresses and medicines.

Akshadh's POV

I lift up Allen and held her in my hands saying, "Allen baby, Daddy will take you to the car until that lay in my shoulder with closed eyes,"
After that tragedy Allen didn't see the outer world. Due to Xenophobia, she is in the closed room, only Mr.John and I would go there. We would allow doctors only if she was sleeping but now God's grace she is getting normal.

Allen did as I said.

We reached the car and make her sit in the back sit. Dhiya sat close to her. Dhiya talks to Allen in such a way that Allen is concentrating her.

Within few minutes, we reached the flat. I took them to my flat. I took Allen in my hands saying, "Close your eyes baby, there is a surprise for you," and entered into my room. I signalled Dhiya to come in.

"Daddy! Shall I open my eyes?"

"Of course! My dear baby,"

She opened her eyes slowly and look around weirdly, "Daddy! This place is new to me,"

"It is our new house, Baby," I convinced her.

Then, I took Allen to the toy room, Dhiya followed us. I brought many toys for Allen whenever I came to U.S to see her but every time it ends up with disappointment...

We three had fun times there. Few minutes later, Allen felt tired and slept in Dhiya's lap. I took Allen and made her settle in the bed.

Meanwhile, Dhiya got phone. She talked for few minutes and hanged the call.

"Akshadh, I need to take selfie with you," she said strangely.

"Selfie? For what?" I asked shockingly.
