Once Madara completed the jutsu, I had returned to being a demon. Two black horns sticking out of my forehead. My hair is has grown long and turned to a dark purple. My nails were black and sharp, and so were my teeth were sharp. My eyes glowed permanently as I have take my demon form once again. 

But I was still wearing the outfit that Kakashi had given me.

I'm sorry, Darling... It had to be this way.... Please, forgive me... 

"Now, Akina." Madara begins to give me orders as he raises his hand out. "Bring me the 9 tails!" 

My eyes glowed brighter as the seal on my cheek glows. "Akina, no!" Ritsu shouts and I sprint at Naruto while drawing my sword. "Damn you!" Ritsu, Kakashi, and Gai attack Madara as I attack Naruto. 

We are both equally matched since Naruto is using the 9 tails's charka. Our speed is the same and our chakra is at the same level. "You don't have to do this, Akina! Stop this! I don't want to hurt you!" Naruto shouts at me. 

"I'm sorry, Darling! But I have no choice!" I shout back and try to strike him with my sword. 

"You always have a choice!" He glares. He is angry at the fact I chose Madara's side over his. It hurts just to see him so upset like this, and it hurts him that I have to decide this way. I can still feel it... His emotions running through me. 

"You don't understand! Madara is the only person who can keep me alive! He's been watching over me the entire time without me noticing! He has always been there! If I didn't go with him, I would be abandoning him. I couldn't do that after everything he's done for me!" 

"He turned you into a demon when you were a child! He's the reason why you kill!" 

"He saved my life! I was going to die if it weren't for him!" 

"You know what he's doing and you're apart of his act! I know you don't want this, Akina. You don't want to kill anymore, right!?" Naruto and I clash. My sword against his kunai before drawing back, standing a few feet away from each other. 

"Of course I don't want to kill anymore!" I scream and hold my head down. "I never wanted to kill in the first place... But it was all I could do at the time to survive and defend for myself... Taking chakra was all I known in order for me to be strong and live. It's not like I wanted to be this way... I didn't ask for this... But it was the only way... I don't want to die... I didn't want to die... I was scared, alright... I admit it. I was scared! But Madara... I can't leave him..." 

"Akina..." Naruto frowns. 

"I don't want to abandon or betray anyone... You both mean so much to me ever since the day I met the two of you at different times... That's why it's hard for me to choose. Darling... You showed me what the world was like through your eyes while Madara kept me alive this whole time... That's why... I didn't want it to come to this... Please... I'm so sorry!" 

{Naruto's P.O.V.} 

"I'm so sorry!" Akina shouted through her tears and ran at me again. Akina... I'm so sorry you feel that way. I know you're scared. I know you're hurting. I know you don't want this. I'm not against you on what you said. 

You don't want to betray Madara because he's been right beside you this whole time, even when you didn't know it. He's taken good care of you. He was there when you needed him the most. He was acting like a parent towards you because he really cares about you. He thinks he knows what's best for you. 

"Rasengan!" I thrust my rasengan at her, but she grabs my wrist and the rasengan vanishes. I grunt as my chakra is being absorbed. I forgot. Now that she's a demon, she can take chakra away and store it inside her body. 

"Ah!" Akina cries and pulls her hand away. I see orange chakra forming around her hand. It's Kurama's chakra. It's burning her. 

"Don't let her touch you! If she takes your chakra, we're both done for!" Kurama reminds me. 

'Wait.' I think back to him. 'We can turn her back into human again like the last time.' 

"You can't get close to her because she's under orders. You saw how that seal on her cheek glowed when Madara gave her an order. It's going to continue glowing until the deed is done. If you get anywhere close to her to the point she grabs you, she might bring you straight to Madara. You both may be equally matched, but she always has the upper hand."

'There's a cure... Ritsu was holding something to her mouth before Madara grabbed her. He's was holding the cure for her illness. In the form she's in now, her sickness is completely gone. But, if we give her our chakra and turn her human, and give her the cure that Ritsu has, we can save her.' 

"Did you not hear me? She's under Madara's control. There is nothing we can do for her as long as she's under his control." 

'Then we just have to get Madara to give her another order.' I smirk. "Let's go, Kurama!" 

{Akina's P.O.V.} 

As I run at Naruto again, after my hand had quickly healed, Naruto runs pass me, avoiding me. 'What? He ignored me?' I thought, confused. 'No. He's after Madara!' My eyes widen and I chase after him. 

As I got closer, Ritsu got in my way. "Oh, no you don't." He glares at me as he draws his kunai. 

"Don't get in my way, Ritsu!" I growl at him. 

"I know you don't want this. We're all trying to help you out here! Why are you siding with Madara again!? You want to be with Naruto, don't you!? He's your Darling!" 

"It's Madara's orders! Not mine! He means the world to me!" 

"Which one? Madara or Naruto!?" He shouts. 

"Both of them!" I shout back and attack him. As I fought Ritsu, I look back at Madara to see them fighting Naruto, Kakashi, Gai, and Killer Bee while he's in his tailed beast form. I have to get to Naruto and bring him to Madara. That was the order he gave me. "Stay out of my way!" 

I grab Ritsu by the throat and take a pint of his chakra while holding him in the air. He grunts and grabs my wrist, trying to pry me off of him. I throw him away like trash and dart at Naruto. 

"Dark Art: Black Snake Binding!" I reach my hand out and 4 black snakes slither out of my arm, ad go for Naruto. They wrap around his leg tightly and I pull him towards me. But what I grabbed was a clone. The real one is fighting Madara still! He was using a shadow clone!? 

Dammit! 

I sprint over to Naruto, jumping on one levitating rock to another. As Madara is hit with the rasengan, his body slides against the ground. "Madara!" I shout and go to his aid. "Madara, are you all right?!" I shake his body. Because of the demo sealing performed by him, I can't take his chakra. That's how I wasn't able to take his chakra from the other times. 

"Get out of the way, Akina." He orders me and I do as I'm told. He quickly gets on his feet and throws 3 shuriken's at Naruto and the others. When I look back at Naruto, his beast form is completely different. 

It's shining brightly and the pupils in his eyes were slit. He's gained more power from the 9 tails! All 3 shuriken become big and 2 of them are blocked by Killer Bee's tail as 1 was caught by the 9 tail's mouth, formed by its own chakra.  

"Go high, Akina!" Madara orders again. 

"Right!" I nod and Madara and I jump on the levitating rocks to get to a higher surface to avoid any attacks from the Leaf. Naruto jumps to us with the rasengan, but Madara destroys it by summoning a large kunai. 

The Naruto that attacked us was a clone. "Not yet!" The real one shouts and throws a tailed beast bomb! Quickly, Madara transport us to the other dimension. 

"Nice trick..." Madara mutters. 

"Madara..." I look at him, but I sense something coming. "Beside us!" I warn him. We both look to see Naruto with a rasengan in his palm. He followed us here!? How!? 

"How did he-!?" 

"Rasengan!" Naruto thrusts the rasengan to Madara. He won't be able to dodge it in time! 

"No!" I get in front of him and the rasengan connects to one of my horns. Because of this, my eyes become white. As we escape from the other dimension, I can hear Madara shouting my name while at the same time, I'm being held tightly. 

"I'm here, Akina!" I hear Naruto's voice. Is he the one holding me? Why can't I move my eyes? With one of my horns broken off, it shocked a nerve system. My eyes are still white. "Go ahead and take my chakra!" I gasp when I feel his forehead against mine. He's trying to turn me human again? But, doesn't he know that the illness will come back? 

"Hurry up and make it quick, Naruto! We'll hold them off as long as we can! Just bring her back and I'll do the rest!" I hear Ritsu's voice as I sense another presence. A much stronger, cold, and ruthless presence...

Who is there? 

{Naruto's P.O.V.} 

It felt like Akina and I were in a white cosmic universe, like when I was with Sasuke after we clashed with the chidori and rasengan. 

Akina stood across from me with a frown on her face while she looked down. "You broke my horn... That really hurt, Darling." 

"Sorry about that. I should have known you would step in and protect Madara like that." I rub the back of my head then give her a serious look. "Why aren't you taking my chakra, Akina? You're resisting." I tell her. 

"Because I don't want yours, or Kurama's chakra..." She replies. "It will start all over again... My illness will return and Madara will place the Demon Seal on me again... With this mark and seal," Akina lifts her left hand up to her cheek, placing it over the mark, "I am his. We made a pact... I can't leave him..." 

"What he's doing is wrong. You know that. He's using you to go along with his plan." I begin to glare.

"And I agreed to it... I told him that I would stay by his side and carry out his plan. You just don't get it... I chose to go with him. I chose this, even though I know it was wrong. But, I couldn't leave him, and I didn't want to leave you, too." 

"But, what about the cure?" 

"Madara doesn't know that I gave the cure to Ritsu... He was the one who delivered it to me. Itachi made it for me, but I gave it to Ritsu. I didn't know Madara was going to summon me... If I chose to side with you, Madara would get angry and feel betrayed, after everything he's done for me." 

"Akina... I know. It's confusing for you. Having to chose between the person who's taken care of you and kept you safe, and the person you longed to be with. I'm not mad. In fact, I'm sorry that you have to decide this way." I sadly smile at her. "But, do you remember what I said to you at the hospital?" 

"Hmm?..." She lifts her head up to look at me. 

"I swore to you that I was going to protect you. You're not going to be alone anymore. I promised that all of this, all of what you're going through was going to stop. But you're stubborn that you don't want to let anybody in just yet. You're not giving me a chance here and that's pretty unfair, you know." I grin at her and she frowns again, knowing I'm right. 

"I know..." She frowns again. 

"You're use to doing things on your own because it's always been that way for you. You're different from the rest of us and that's okay. But you know something? I'm not going to go back on my word and I'm not going to give up! Not on you! Because that is my ninja way! I love you, Akina!" I smirk at her and her eyes widen. 

"Darling..." She begins to tear up. "You won't...give up on me?" 

"Not a chance and not ever! So come on!" I hold my hand out to her and a tear slides down her cheek. She runs at me and hugs me tightly, wrapping her arms around my neck as she begins to cry. 

"Darling...! I love you! I love you, Darling!" 

"I love you too..." I hug her back and hold her close while gently smiling as mine and Kurama's chakra surrounds us both. I stroke the back of her head and notice her hair changed from dark purple to pink. "From now on... I hereby protect you with my life."
