~Naruto's P.O.V.~

We were close to the Kage Summit, so we stopped to take a break. I couldn't stop thinking about Sasuke or Akina. After hearing what happened... She is now in the Akatsuki and she destroyed the Leaf Village... Akina... 

Have you really fallen that far?... I'm worried about you... I miss you... I want to see you again...

"Naruto Uzumaki." My eyes widen at the voice. "Let's have a talk, shall we?" It's that Akatsuki Member!

I act quickly and used the rasengan, but he dodges it and I end up making a wreck of the roof of the room. Captain Yamato made a wall barrier out of his wood style while at the same time he wrapped up the Akatsuki member and Kakashi-Sensei had his chidori ready. 

"Didn't you not hear me when I said I only wanted to chat?" 

"Oh?" Kakashi-Sensei glares at him. 

"I thought you'd all like to hear what I had to say, since it has something to do with Akina." Madara tells us, making my eyes widen. "Do you want to know?" 

~Akina's P.O.V.~ 

We snuck inside the summit and Sasuke was taking care of each samurai that was in sight while Karin, Suigetsu, Jugo, Ritsu, and I stayed put. I watched Sasuke brutally murder each samurai and I know Karin can sense this, too. 

Sasuke has gotten darker. His chakra has grown cold and ruthless. 

Karin is shaking like a leaf while cold sweat is forming on her forehead. I look at Karin, then back at Sasuke as he is about to get ambushed by 4 samurai. "Let's go, Jugo." I jump from our hiding spot and Jugo and I get in front of Sasuke, blocking the samurai's attacks. Karin and Ritsu stayed behind.

"He's not alone!" One of the Samurai alarmed. 

"The Shinobi Killer is on his side!" Another Samurai said. The ceiling above us began shaking and cracking before it came down on us. The Raikage and his two subordinates have arrived. 

Sasuke grabs me as him, and Jugo, move out of the way. "I'll teach you the true meaning of fear, you brats!" The Raikage shouts at us. Sasuke glares at him and attacks. 

"Sasuke! Don't go in alone!" Jugo warns him. 

One of the Raikage's subordinates use a water style jutsu to push Sasuke back, along with using a lightning style jutsu, which causes Sasuke to retreat to Jugo and I.

"Dark Art..." I inhale deeply. "Shadow Dragon!" I break out the black, shadow dragon and it darted for Raikage and his subordinates. The subordinates dodge as the Raikage stayed in his spot and got hit with the Shadow Dragon. But, it had no effect on him. He used his chakra to deflect it. 

I never took the Raikage as a strong shinobi. 

"Jugo," I say his name and he looks at me. "Go all out. Just this once." I command and his curse mark takes full effect. Jugo laughs wickedly when his appearance changes. 

"Do you think it Jugo is still on our side when he's in that form?" Suigetsu smirks and Jugo goes berserk. Yet, his strength is not enough to keep up with the Raikage's. With one punch, Jugo is pinned against the wall, but he has his shield up. With one more hard push, Jugo is out. 

"Ugh!" The Raikage grunts as I have begin to absorb his chakra from behind. My hand is on his shoulder as I smirk at him. "Damn brat...!" Raikage slowly turns his head to glare at me. "You... You're the Shinobi Killer, aren't you!?" He growls. 

"Jugo~" I smirk wider. "Now!" 

Raikage's eyes widen and turns back at Jugo as canons, from the holes Jugo created from his body, lit up. I move out of the way and Raikage is blasted away. 

"Hahahaha! I just took down the big guy!" Jugo laughs in victory, but the Raikage is back on his feet! He punched Jugo to a wall, and I jump on his back, then bite down on his neck. 

Raikage grunts in agony as I sink my teeth deeper into his neck, taking more of his chakra. He moves around to get me, but I cling onto his body with my nails. "Move, Akina!" Sasuke tells me and he sprints over to Raikage with his chidori. 

I quickly move out of the way as him and Raikage clash. With one move, Raikage slams Sasuke onto the ground, but Sasuke's Susano protected him from the impact. Because of the Mangekyo Sharingan. 

While Raikage and Sasuke continue to fight, I pull Jugo out from the wall. Looking back at the fight, Raikage and Sasuke are surrounded by reinforcements. My eyes widen and I growl at this. 

I place Jugo in a safe spot and quickly get in front of Sasuke while drawing my sword, growling at the samurai and Raikage. "You're stubborn one, aren't you!?" Raikage glares at me. "That look... You're nothing but a real monster!"

I growl and get behind Sasuke, and cover one of his eyes. "Darling..." I glare. "Give me your chakra!" 

"Right." Sasuke smirks and one of my eyes turn into the Mangekyo Sharingan. 

'He'll pay for saying that! Amaterasu!' Black flames devour Raikage, having him scream in pain. He's too slow to move out of the way in time. But... He's moving with the flames! He's persistent! 

"You're finished!" Raikage is right in front of me, ready to punch me. Sasuke uses his Susano to guard me, but Raikage punches right through it. 

As he does, I bite his left arm, almost biting it off. "Enough." I hear another voice and sand wraps around my body tightly, pulling me away from Raikage. 

The sand retreats to a young man with red hair, blue eyes, and writing that says 'Love' on his forehead. He has the power to manipulate sand!? 

"What are you doing, Kazekage!? Why did you interfere!?" Raikage shouts at the Kazekage. 

"Because you would have killed her if you continued with another attack." Kazekage glances at me as I'm snarling at him while struggling to get out of the sand. 

"You know that thing?!" Raikage points at me. 

"Akina is from the Hidden Leaf." How does he know who I am? 

"That thing has a name?" Raikage glares. I growl and breathe out another Shadow Dragon at him. Raikage moves out of the way and growls back at me. Because of that, sand was wrapped around my mouth. 

"Look at her, Gaara. She isn't the same anymore. Naruto failed to convince both her and Sasuke. She won't listen to anybody. All she wants to do is fight." A young man next to him with purple paint on his face informs him. 

"Akina," Kazekage looks at me. "You and I are much alike. We both walked through darkness. Back then, you were full of spirit and compassion, yet you were hiding the pain you endured for so long. Don't let the darkness corrupt you." 

The sand moves away from my mouth, allowing me to speak. "Is that what you really think that's been going on? You're an idiot." My eyes glow. "You and I are completely different. I didn't let the darkness corrupt me. I welcomed the darkness!" 

I use my sword to slice the sand off of me and jump beside Sasuke. "Amaterasu!" Sasuke and I shout, using the black flames on Kazekage. With the Susano and the black flames, it weakens the ceiling. Soon it's going to collapse on us. 

Bits of the ceiling began falling down. We have to move quickly. 'Dark Art,' I grab Sasuke and Karin, move out of the way, getting us all away from the collapsing ceiling. 

Sasuke, Karin, and I make it to a passage way that was nearby. I set Karin down on the ground and look at Sasuke. "Were you able to pinpoint Danzo's location?" Sasuke asks Karin. 

"Y-Yeah." Karin replies with a nod. 

"Take me there." 

"But, what about Suigetsu and Jugo? Ritsu was down there, too. Their chakra-" 

"Never mind them. Danzo comes first." Sasuke cuts her off, walking over to her. "Take me to Danzo." He orders her. 

"O-Okay..." 

With that said, Sasuke grabs my hand and Karin leads us to where Danzo is. 

~Gaara's P.O.V.~ 

Just as the ceiling collapsed on us, Akina had made a clone and shielded me, Kankuro, and Termari from the falling ceiling parts. My eyes widen at this because of how fast she moved and made her clone. 

But, why? 

"She saved us?" Kankuro questions, looking at Akina. Her eyes didn't show any emotion and she was looking down at her feet if she was trying to figure out what to say, or what to do. 

"Why did you-" Termari was going to ask her something, but the clone was gone. "A clone!?" She exclaims. I don't understand it myself. I knew she couldn't remember me because of her form and after all that has happened. But, it was like her body moved on it's own out of instinct.

If Akina is on the side of the Akatsuki, and with Sasuke... Why did she protect us like that?

~Naruto's P.O.V.~ 

"You're the one who turned Akina into what she is!? This is your fault! She's a demon because of you!" I shout at him. 

"I saved her. And she is grateful for it, as she shows it." Madara replies. 

"She was a child." Kakashi-Sensei glares at him. 

"A child who was going to die very soon because of her illness. The Leaf Village to be blamed for what they did to her. But, of course, you didn't know about that." 

"So this whole time, with the Akatsuki from the very beginning, you were trying to get Akina back." I growl. 

"To protect her from the Leaf. I already knew the procedures she was put through. Missions, performances, punishments, and a lot more. I watched it all. Akina would have had protection from the Akina if only she didn't retreat and turn away. It was all a misunderstanding. What would you have done differently if you learned the truth about Akina from the very beginning?" 

It became silent. Kakashi-Sensei and I didn't know how to answer that. We couldn't know since we weren't there with her. We couldn't see what was going on because she was locked away... But, I get it...

Akina is consumed with hatred because of the Leaf and is convinced that every human is the same because of the way she was treated. Her heart is filled with anger because she doesn't want to let go of the past. 

She doesn't want to come back to the village because she's thinks the past will repeat itself. 

She's scared.
