It was the day of the Chunin Exams and Kakashi ad Sasuke were still in training. But, I didn't want to go with them this time. "You know you have to come with me when I train Sasuke, Akina. Why is this an issue all the sudden?" Kakashi asks me when I refuse to go to the mountains. 

"Because I don't want to. Why is that so hard to understand?" I respond, throwing my hands behind my head. 

"Because wherever I go, you have to come with me. Did something happen between you and Sasuke? You two hardly spoke a word to each other ever since I began his training." 

Oh, yeah. He doesn't know about what happened last night. "Would you believe me if I told you that we had a feud last night?" I look up at him. 

"What are you talking about?" 

"Last night. Sasuke came by your house and near my bedroom, and wanted to fight me." 

"The two of you fought last night? What happened?" 

"He said he wanted to talk and insisted on fighting me. I declined and was going to come back" I begin to glare. "But he made the first move and attacked me with that technique you taught me. So I retaliated." 

"Akina!" 

"What? He was the one who started it! I wasn't going to let him talk down on me!" I shout and growl while baring my teeth. "I'm not going to let everyone walk all over me!-" I blink whe Kakashi starts stroking the top of my head. 

"You should have told me about this the moment you returned back." That caring side again... "Sasuke never should have provoked you and never should have used that technique. Not on you. I will have a word with him before we start our training." 

"You're not mad?" 

"No. Why would I be? Sasuke acted out first and you reacted back. Even though, you shouldn't have went alone and fought."

"But you are going to tell the old man, aren't you?" I glare. 

"No." Kakashi shakes his head. "I'll let it slide." 

"Really?"

"Really. Now, let's go." Kakashi and I went to the mountain where Sasuke was waiting for us. Before they could begin their training, Kakashi was lecturing Sasuke about how to properly use his Chidori. 

I sat in my usual spot, sitting against a large rock, and watch. Time had passed and their training had begun. Don't they know that they're going to be late for the exams. They know it's today, right? But we're pretty far from the village. Actually, further than the past few days. 

I guess Kakashi wanted to train Sasuke everything he knew. I wonder how my Darling is doing. If I remember correctly, he'll be going against Neji. 

Shikamaru vs. Temari

Shino vs. Kankuro

and Gaara vs. Sasuke. 

One of the proctors were informed that one of the sound ninja won't be participating. I know this because I had a sent a clone out to spy on the old man early this morning. I wonder what ever happened to that guy. 

"Hmm?" I look up at the sky. Why do I feel a shiver down my back? Danger or excitement? Whatever it is, something is about to happen. 

~Short Time Skip~ 

"They're about to call you off." I inform Kakashi and Sasuke as we are on our way to the finals. 

"We'll make it." Kakashi says back. As the proctor is about to announce Sasuke disqualification, me, Kakashi, and Sasuke arrive in the middle of the arena with leaves blowing around us. Talk about a dramatic entrance. 

"Sasuke!" I hear Sakura shout from the audience. 

"Alright, he's here! And Kakashi-Sensei and Akina are here, too!" Naruto shouts with a grin. 

"Sorry we're late. We lost track of time. Can he still enter?" Kakashi asks the proctor. 

"We had to hold back for you guys and push forward the exams. But now that you're here, we can finally get a move on with things. He can participate" The proctor says.

"Good." Kakashi nods his head. "Let's go, Akina." Kakashi and I go and take our seats. While I was walking away, I saw the old man's eyes glaring down at me. What's his problem? 

"Akina! You're here!" Naruto runs at me with a big grin. 

"Hi, Darling." I smile at him and look at his beaten up body. "Looks like I missed your match. Sorry." 

"It's alright. You should have seen me! I was awesome! I put that Neji guy to shame!" He speaks proudly. 

"Maybe next time you and I can fight together." I smirk while leaning toward him. Naruto blushes and scratches the back of his head while nervously laughing. I giggle and lean back, then put my hands behind my head. "I really wish I could participate in these exams. Just seeing this is getting my blood pumping!" I smirk down at Sasuke and Gaara as their match is about to begin. 

"Hey, Akina?" 

"Hmm?" I look at Naruto. 

"You always look like you're having the time of your life when you're fighting. Why is that? Don't you ever get scared in any dangerous situation?" Naruto asks me and the smirk on my face slowly fades into a frown. 

"Maybe it's because I'm a monster... By the way, why is the guards here?" I turn to Kakashi for an answer. 

A few guards that block my cell surround Naruto, Kakashi, and I with ANBU with them. "Akina. You're coming with us!" 

"Huh!? What's going on?!" Naruto questions. 

"What's the meaning of this? What is this about?" 

"She is being put back in her cell." The old man speaks while making his way over to us. 

"What for!?" Naruto shouts. 

"One of our ANBU witnessed her fighting with a genin in the training grounds. She took an amount of chakra from him." Someone was watching the fight? I couldn't detect them. It was because of my anger I didn't notice." I told you what would happen if she were act out of line, Kakashi." 

"She was defending herself!" Kakashi defends for me. 

"Whether or not she was defending herself, she must know the consequences. Akina is to return to her cell and may only come out for her missions." 

"Let's go." One of the guards grabs my shoulder. I glare at them and swat them away. 

"Don't touch me!" I shout. Each guard and ANBU take our their weapons. 

"Now hold on! I'm sure Akina has an explanation!" Naruto gets in front of me while glaring. 

"Forget about it, Darling." I spot him and he turns around, looking at me with worry. "Looks like our time together has finally reached an end." I walk over to him and cup his face in my hands. "I really thought things could work out between us..." I press my head against his and lean back. "Goodbye. Darling..." I smile at him and leave with the ANBU and the guards. 

~Naruto's P.O.V.~ 

I watched as Akina walked away with the ANBU and the other shinobi. None of this was right... "Sorry, Naruto. You know this wasn't going to work out." Sakura walks over to me. She saw the entire thing. "Remember. She's a Shinobi Killer. She couldn't be one of us." 

That's not true... 

"I think I've taken a liking to you! Say. How would you like to be my Darling?"

"It's nice that you weren't afraid of me at all." 

"You are now my Darling!" 

"Goodbye. Darling..." 

No... She is just like us! "Naruto! Where are you going!? Naruto!" Kakashi-Sensei shouts after me but I ignore him. 

Akina...

~Akina's P.O.V.~ 

Did someone just call for me? I look back behind me at one of the guards. "What is it?" He raises his kunai at me. 

"Nothing." I turn back around and continue walking. Already entering into the Hokage Tower, I hear shouting. 

"Akina!" I look through the window and see Naruto running his way. What is he doing? I ignore him and continue walking. "Akina! Listen to me!" He jumps onto one of the roofs and continues to shout, "Don't go! You aren't what they saw you are! It doesn't matter if you're human or not! You are a shinobi! Remember at the land of waves? You helped out the team and never gave up until the mission was done!" 

"What is that brat doing? Get him down from there!" One of the ANBU shout and some of the guards go after him. Naruto sees them coming and runs along the rooftop, still shouting, 

"You always got back on your feet and didn't let anything stand in your way! Whenever I was around you, I felt like as if I could do anything! And the best part about our times together was being with you! You are confident! Strong! And brave! I want to have that same passion as you! I look up to you! You made me realize that there is more to being a shinobi! Everything! Up until now! All that mattered to me was being with you! So don't go back there. I still want to fight with you! And every time after that! I want to stand by your side always, Akina!!!" 

After that, I stop walking and smirk. "Hey. Keeping moving." One of the guards order. 

"How can I leave after that?" I ask in a low tone. I black flip over them and run down the hall. I quickly hop on the wall and crash through the window, and kick two of the guards away from Naruto, then landing a few feet away. 

"Akina." He turns to me and I run at him, then stopping in front of me. 

"Nobody has said anything like that to me before." I smirk. 

"I, uh..." Naruto blushes and rubs the back of his head. 

"So, you want to fight with me, huh?" 

"I do." He nods his head with determine. 

"Let me hear you say it." I lean and put my hand to my ear while closing my eyes. Naruto grins and shouts, 

"I want to fight with you, Akina! Believe it!" 

I couldn't help but smile and grab his hand. "Now that's what I expect from my Darling!" I laugh and jump from roof to roof with him. "Let's go!" 

"After them!" One of the guards shout and a swarm of ANBU and jounin come after us. I look behind and smirk as my eyes glow brightly. 

"Dark Art: Fog Diversion!" I shout a dark purple fog forms, giving us time for me and Naruto to get away. I smirk again and look ahead to see at the arena to see kunai clashing. "What is that?"
