I just gave Kimberly a blank stare. Was she really saying that to me? Or was I just asleep?

"Um...okay," I say, a little frazzled by the statement she had previously said. I took my notebook and wrote down my findings on her. "T-Then, how come you would want to risk your life just to find out something that you might not even find?"

"Because," She says. "They're my family."

I sighed and nodded. She had a good reason and I had no right to question it.

"Thank you, ma'am. I hope you find what you're looking for," I say, getting up and going to my seat. Still a little uneasy, I open my notebook again and started to write down everything. The amount of rows. The smell. The surroundings. The time. The next thing I knew was when I looked up we were in some woods. It was beautiful, don't get me wrong but, eerie. "What the..."

I put my notebook in my bag for that moment and just decided to clear my mind. At this point, I was probably reaching the forty-five minute mark on the trip. My nerves were twitching. I remembered that when I was young my mother told me whenever I was nervous was to take deep breaths and close my eyes.

So I did.

I soon was able to pick up small sounds from the train and its passengers and crew. Like the wheels on the track, slight movements from my fellow travelers, soft and distant whistles from the train. It was relaxing. I made a mental note to thank my mom when I got back and felt myself dozing off.

Thud!

I jumped a bit, my heart racing.

"What was that?" Dante asked. Everyone was in the same position as well. Nobody knew. It was until;

Thud! THUD! THUMP!

The crew came rushing in and instructed everyone to stay in there seats. I felt the air get more and more tense as everyone started to get worried. I took the chance to get out the notebook and start writing the series of events. More and more noise came onto the roofs and I heard people panic from other cars on the train. At this point, my heart was trying to escape my chest. My hand writing became shaky even though the car rode smooth on the tracks. Then, the screeching sound of breaks came from the engine and the whole train came to a sudden halt. There were a few moments of silence and the confusion of the crew in our car.

Sreeeee!

Everyone plugged their ears from the awful sound. Something was trying to cut through the roof. After what seemed like long minutes, a large chunk of the roof fell from above. Everyone gasped at the slight of claw marks on the prestige painted white metal. Then...

Three large figures came dropping down. One was female, the other two male. I was frozen at this point. Just taking everything in. They all wore black hoods and under them were some hunter like uniform. One made eye contact with me and I saw her piercing violet eyes. They let down their hoods and everyone screamed at the sight. On each of their heads were a pair of animal ears. Wolf I believe. The younger one, I presume, had green hair and ears with a matching tail. He had gentle look on his face but, his blue eyes threw daggers at anyone he got eye contact with. The female had violet eyes with beautiful indigo hair with ears and tail to match as well. Then, the last one, male...had red, ruby like hair with multi-colored eyes. One green, one blue. I noticed a large, opaque scar running from the bridge of his nose to his jawline. He had a pair of black ears and a matching tail.

"Listen up," The woman said. "I need everyone to follow orders correctly or you'll regret it!"

I think we all decided to listen to her.

"Form a line down the pathway of this car," She says. "Capricorns at the front with Sagittarius at the back."

Astrology signs? Odd. I just followed my orders, not wanting to get on their bad side at the moment. I reached down for my things.

"Leave your things at your seats," The red head said aggressively, glaring at me.

I slowly put down my things and formed the line with the other three passengers and two crew members. Being a Leo, I was at the end of the line, surprisingly. The indigo haired girl went down the line of people and asked them a series of questions. What was odd was that they were involving the crew. Did they do this every year? The two men of the group started to go through our stuff. The red head went to my bag first like I was holding a weapon. What he pulled out first was my journal. I felt my breath sharply inhale and as he flipped through my notes. He raised an eyebrow in suspicion. Looked at me then, at the green haired man, then to me. There was something interesting about this man but, I couldn't place my finger on it. He motioned for the green haired wolf man to come over and take a look. Then, the woman reached me.

"Name?" She asked.

"G-Garroth."

She looked at me and said; "Full name including middle initial."

"Garroth T. Ro'Meave."

"There you go. Occupation?"

I bit my lip. What if they found out I was a journalist? Would they become suspicious and take me then and there? I took a deep breath and said;

"Banker."

That caught the attention of red head.

"You sure you're a banker?"

I nodded.

"Really?" He asked, coming over. "Because from this notebook with the return address and all, you seem to be a journalist." I stood there silent. He narrowed his eyes at me. "Are you or are you not a journalist at the O'Khasis Gazette?"

I looked up at him and gulped. He was huge and menacing.

"I don't feel comfortable answering that question, sir."

That seemed to really tick him off. He motioned for the girl to go through the rest of the bags.

"Fine than, Garrett-"

"It's Garroth."

He rolled his eyes and said again; "Garroth. Where do you live? What's your age and height?"

"How is this important?"

He seemed to look me up and down. He was losing patience.

"Look. I know it's your job to ask questions but, I suggest you answer all our questions politely."

"Why?"

"...I'm not here to entertain you. Answer. The questions."

I noticed a ring of gold around his irises. There was ringing in my head and I blurted out;

"I'm a journalist at the O'Khasis Gazette," I say, confused as to why I said. The ringing continued. "I'm twenty-five at the height of five foot, eleven inches."

The ringing stopped. The man smiled and said;

"Wasn't so hard. Was it?"

I wanted to punch him then and there but, I held back knowing I would lose. Once he was done he went back to going through the bags. The girl said;

"Passengers, make your way out of the car while the crew stay here."

I didn't question it. I made my way out with the others following me. Once out, we saw all the other passengers. There looked to be the total of thirty or so.

"Garroth," Dante said, coming up to me. "What was that about?"

"What was about?"

"You held your ground strongly then," He says, then pausing. "After that guy glared at you, you spilled everything he wanted out of you."

"I know," I say, still having trouble with understanding it. "There was a ringing in my head then...I blurted it out."

"Well, that was the bravest thing I've seen all day at least," Lucinda said, coming up to me. "Now what?"

The people with ears and tails came out of the cars. I counted at least fifteen of them. Then, the biggest and most threatening of them all came from the engine. He had black hair with coal like eyes as you could as he got closer. His ears and tail matched like the others but, red were at the tips.

I could already tell he was alpha.

Alpha...

"They're werewolves...", I said under my breath. The two looked at me with wide eyes but, didn't question it. They knew I right.

Then, the train started again. Leaving the passengers with the our kidnappers. So many thoughts were running through my mind. When the train was fully passed, I knew I was screwed.
