Draco's POV
Draco walked out of the classroom,in the direction of the Slytherin common room.History of Magic was by far the most boring class at Hogwarts.Suddenly,he collided with another student,who's nose had been in a book.Draco's heart started beating like mad as he saw that it was Hermione Granger."Watch where you're going,Granger!" he snapped,hoping that his bitter,stinging tone would cover up the fierce pounding of his heart.Hermione gave him a bitter glare."Well,I'm attempting to learn something.Unlike you.".With that she opened the book and walked off in the opposite direction."Stupid little know-it-all mudblood" he thought to himself.Though he couldn't banish thought about the muggle born girl from his head.The image of her face remained in Draco's head.He told himself to snap out of it.He was a Malfoy!He couldn't have feelings for a mudblood!His head said that he was a pure-blood.A proud Malfoy.He couldn't love a mudblood like that Granger.His heart,however,felt different.

Hermione's POV
As she walked away,her head filled with thoughts of the blond boy."That annoying little twat!" she thought.However,she remembered how fast her heart had beat when she first looked at him."No!You can't like him!" she told herself furiously.But she continued to think of Draco.All through her classes,the meals in the great hall,even while doing homework.She tried to tell herself that Draco was stupid,and annoying.Not worth thinking about.But she still couldn't forget the image of his face.His voice.The way her heart beat when she had seen him on the train.
