Three

About an hour later I pulled into a parking spot. Mia was almost bouncing out of her seat when she realized where we were.

"Jay, I love you! Oh my god. I haven't been to Disney in so long!" Mia exclaimed excitedly. "But I don't have my MagicBand. How am I supposed to get in?"

"I got it for you. Your dad gave it to me before we left."

"My parents knew about this? Oh I'm so going to kill them when we get back! I can't believe they didn't tell me." I started laughing when she said that. "What? What's so funny?"

"You're just too cute." I told her, pinching one of her cheeks.

"I am not cute!" Mia pouted.

"Right, you're so not cute." I laughed, rolling my eyes. "Alright, are you ready to spend the next three days at the happiest place on Earth?"

"Wait, the next three days?"

"Yeah. We're going to all four parks. I've planned for us to go to Downtown Disney tonight so we can just relax before the next three days."

"Seriously? You're kidding, right?"

"Nope. Now let's go check in so we can stop wasting daylight." I told her, starting to walk toward the doors of the hotel.

"So our parents are really letting us stay here for three days?" Mia asked, catching up with me.

"Yep. I was surprised too when they said it was fine. But all I know is that Olivia's going to kill me when I get back." Mia laughed and pat me on the back.

"You should've brought her with us! I adore Olivia. But you are really gonna get it when you get home."

"Oh don't I know it." I replied, laughing as we walked into the hotel and headed up to the concierge.

"How can I help you, sir?" The concierge asked.

"We're here to check in."

"Of course. What name is the room under?"

"Connors," I replied, looking down to see Mia texting her friend Natalie.

"Ah, yes, I have it right here. Room for two with separate beds. Is that correct?"

"Yes sir." I answered, handing him my credit card.

"Oh, I don't need that. It says here it's all been paid for already."

"Really? Okay."

"Both of your MagicBands have already been connected to your room. You will be staying on floor three in room fifty. It also states here that you have reservations today at 7:30 for The Rainforest Cafe at Downtown Disney and for tomorrow morning at Chef Mickey's here in the hotel at 7:30."

"That sounds right," I respond.

"Alright, you're all good to go. I hope you both have a magical stay here at The Contemporary Resort."

"Thank you," Mia said while I just nod.

I grabbed her hand and we made our way out of the hotel and to the car where I got both of our suitcases.

"Let's go find our room," I shout before running back inside with the suitcases, Mia following behind me laughing.

We reached the elevators and pressed the up button on the metal box, waiting for the elevator to come down and open up. When it did we moved onto it and I pressed the number three. The doors closed and we took the short ride up to floor three.

. . .

Standing in front of the hotel room, I got my MagicBand out and held it up to the small Mickey Mouse on the door handle. It turned green, indicating that the door had been unlocked. I turned the handle before the green disappeared and opened the door to the two bedroom suite.

"Jay, our parents are paying for this for four nights?" Mia asked me, looking around the Suite astounded.

"Looks like it. I had no say in the room or anything, swear," I told her. "I guess they just didn't want us staying in some shitty dump while we were here."

"Watch your language," Mia scolded, hitting me on the arm.

I winked at her playfully. "Yes, Mom."

"Shut it."

"Alright, alright. Lets unpack so we can go to Downtown Disney and eat." I said, already moving toward what looked like the bedroom.

"And shop!" Mia called out behind me. I watched as she claimed the bed closest to the balcony before going and opening the doors.

"This is a really nice view," she stated before shutting them and opening up her suitcase. I opened mine as well and claimed the first two drawers in the dresser, leaving Mia the bottom two. We finished unpacking in about five minutes.

"Can we go now? I'm starving," I complained, lying flat on the bed.

"Yeah, I'm done. We can go."

"Finally!" I exclaimed, hopping off the bed and running toward the door. "Let's go so we can catch the next bus there."

"Alright, I'm coming!" Mia yelled from the room.

A minute later we were outside of our room and walking toward the elevators. I pressed the down button and once inside I pressed the lobby button and the doors shut. When we reached the lobby, I grabbed Mia's hand and both of us raced to where the buses were.

Thankfully, with the great luck we had, a bus to Downtown Disney had just arrived. We climbed on and took our seats. Five minutes later the doors to the bus shut and we were on our way to Downtown Disney.

. . .

By the time we reached Downtown Disney it was already 6:30, giving us an hour to shop and look around. We made it through five stores before we had to make our way through the crowds to get to The Rainforest Cafe.

When we got there it was 7:30, the time our reservation was at. I walked up to the lady standing behind the fake purple elephant and told her that we had a reservation for two.

"Last name?" She asked, tapping something on the computer that was also behind the fake purple elephant.

"Connors," I replied.

"Yes, I have it right here. You can stand on the Gorilla feet or look around the shop and you should be called in a few minutes."

"Thank you," Mia sayid before we walked in.

"Do you want to stand and wait or go look around for a bit?" I asked her.

"I have a feeling we'll be called shortly. Lets just stand and wait, we can look around after we're done eating." I nodded in response and we moved toward the Gorilla feet.

"Connors? Table for two." A voice called out a minute or two later.

"Here," I said before moving to the front of the line with Mia right behind me.

"Right this way," the guy said. Once we made it to our table he placed a menu in front of both of us. "Your server should be right over. Have a great rest of your night."

"Thanks," Mia answered, opening up her menu.

I opened mine and looked for the drinks first. I found them on the back of the menu and looked for what I wanted.

"What're you getting to drink?" I asked.

"My usual," she said and I nodded. "You?"

"Same." She smiled at me and shook her head.

"Always the same, we are."

"You got that right."

A waitress stopped in front of our table.

"Hi, I'm Sarah and I'll be your server for today. Can I start you two off with something to drink?" She asked.

"Two lemonades, please." I answered, looking over to Mia only to find her trying not to laugh. We had always ordered the same exact drink since first grade. Always lemonade, whether it be pink or the old fashioned yellow.

"Are you ready to order or do you still need some time to look over the menu?" Sarah asked after writing down our drink orders.

"I think we're ready," Mia said looking over to me for conformation. I nodded and motioned for her to start.

"I'd like a Rainforest Burger."

"Alright. And you get a side with your burger." She said while writing it down.

"Safari Fries, please." Mia said before closing her menu. The waitress nodded and wrote that down.

"And for you?" She asked, turning to me.

"I'd like The Beastly Burger with a side of Safari Fries," I said, shutting my menu and taking Mia's as well. After Sarah wrote down my order I handed her the two menus.

"I'll be right back out with your drinks. Your food should be done in about twenty minutes after I return." She said, collecting the menus and walking away.

Once she was gone I received a text message from my mom.

"Well, it looks like we'll be having a little princess joining us tonight at the hotel and for tomorrow when we go to Magic Kingdom." I said after reading the message.

"Olivia found out where you were, didn't she." Mia responded, laughing.

"Yup."

"Good, I've always loved her. It'll be fun going to Magic Kingdom with her tomorrow. Way more fun then we probably would've had together."

"I am extremely offended by what you just said. Do you doubt my fun skills?" I asked her.

"Yes, I do."

"Well then, I'll just have to show you how fun I really am."

"Go ahead, I'm sure I won't be impressed." Mia laughed.

Our food arrived after that. We had to eat a little faster than we normally would since Olivia would be arriving at our hotel soon. After we were done I paid and we rushed out, only having about ten more minutes to get there before Olivia was dropped off.

We got on a bus that was heading to our hotel and soon enough we were outside waiting for my mom to drop off Olivia. When she got there Olivia hopped out of the car and ran to where Mia was standing, jumping on top of her.

"Mia!" Olivia yelled, hugging the older girl tightly.

"Hey Liv! Are you ready to have fun with me and Jay tomorrow?" Mia asked, twirling her around.

"Yeah! We're going to see all of the characters!" Olivia said, emphasizing the word all.

"Of course we are!" Mia said. She motioned to me that she was going to take Olivia up to the room and I sent her a nod before going to talk to my mom.

. . .

Thirty minutes later we were all dressed for bed and Mia was in her bed with Liv. I reached over to turn off the light.

"Night, guys."

"Night, Jay." They both replied.

I shut off the light and turned over in the bed, falling asleep quickly to prepare for the long day ahead of us.
