Oh Maddie, how would you laugh at me right now if I told you what was going on at school. I met this guy and he's really cute. He sat beside me in class today which obviously made Michelle very jealous, as per usual. Apparently he has befriended my friends so now I have to be friends with him. Oh, God. Why? Who even created that rule? I don't want any more friends, in fact I don't need more people feeling pitiful for me. I already have enough people who do. Besides, I really need to focus on finding your killer! I think you probably know who killed you, if I could just make you live again we would know. Now, that was dark. I better stop writing and rambling on because I'm mostly ranting right now. I'll see you tomorrow Mads. Hope you are having a better life up there.

Lunch came by quickly, I was headed towards our lunch table but Michelle aka the bully, pulled me aside. She glared at me angrily, not saying a word.

"What's wrong? Did kissing a different boy every two hours make you contract a mouth disease and lose the ability to speak? Wouldn't that be a blessing?" I said while smirking.

Michelle started fuming, "Shut up! I can still speak you dumb bitch. Take this as a warning, Kendall. Keep your filthy paws away from Ace. He's mine. You got that, you pathetic ass?" She said while laughing at me, as if I was a clown.

Oh please, bitch!

I must admit her words were hurtful but I was used to them.

"Michelle, do you see this cup in my hand?" I said pointing to my hand, suggesting that I was holding an imaginary cup with it, "You don't right? Yeah, that because it's nonexistent just like the amount of flying fucks I give about what you have to say. So, if you would excuse me, I have more important things to do. Oh, and have a shitty day." I said while smirking as I walked away from her to join my friends at the table.

Serves her right, no one tells me what to do!

Walking to my friends table I noticed that Ace was sitting with them, having the time of his life.

Ugh, now I have to actually talk to another human being. Oh, great.

I dropped down into the empty spot beside Nora, completely ignoring everyone. I began eating my tuna sandwich until Ace decided to interrupt me.

"I see that you have proven your worth to Michelle." Ace said, his eyes shining with admiration.

I blushed at his comment, "Ya, I did. I mean she's always like that. I really don't know why. I've never done anything bad to her." I said easily opening up to him.

"Ya, she came up to me too. I think she was trying to flirt with me. Although, I couldn't see her because I couldn't differentiate between a leather sofa and her face." Ace said while chuckling.

I spat out my tuna sandwich and started choking because of how hard I was laughing at what he said. No one, and I mean no one ever said anything like that about Michelle. Most importantly, I thought he would say she looked cute or hot, you know the usual stuff.

I could not breathe as I felt my face turn purple, Ace quickly got up from his seat and started patting my back aggressively to try and help me breathe. In the end he managed to help me and I finally stopped choking.

He helped me sit down, bending down on one knee as he peered up at me with his sea green eyes which glimmered with concern.

"Hey, you okay? Do I need to call the nurse?" He said his voice etched with worry.

The proximity between us was making me blush, our noses were almost touching as we were close enough to kiss. His cherry lips, his perfect jawline. I was entranced.

I had to admit, I really did want to kiss him. I wanted to feel his lips on mine. Those beautiful cherry lips.

Ugh, what are you thinking Kendall!

"Ya I am good, thanks for helping me." I managed to say without blushing.

Seeming convinced, he excused himself to the bathroom leaving me alone with my friends who would no doubt tease me about just what happened.

"Girl, what was that?!" Nora said, trying to whisper-shout every word.

"What was what." I said trying to act casual even though my stomach was full of butterflies because of my encounter with Ace.

"Umm, what just happened with Ace?" She said, trying to control her temper.

I choked, "That can happen to anybody, by the way." I said knowing very well that I was overstepping my boundaries and Nora would burst at any moment.

Nora started massaging the bridge of her noise and said, "He almost kissed you, and don't try to act all stupid because I know very well that you aren't."

"I'm with Nora on this one. He almost kissed you and there is no doubt about that." Alec said with his eyebrows raised.

"See! Ha! I am right for the first time!" Nora said happily while fist bumping the air.

"Oh, jeesh guys! Could you just drop it? He wasn't gonna kiss me because we've only known each other like, I don't know? 3 minutes!?" I said angrily.

"Ugh, this is getting impossible with you. Oh well, we will see when this accident happens again." Nora said while smirking and quoting the word accident in the air.

Alec and Nora started giggling but a death glare from me stopped his laughter momentarily during which he tried to look serious. However, laughter seeped back in, ultimately it ended with all of us laughing like hooligans.

Our happy moment was cut short when my phone beeped.

I checked who the message was from and I saw that it was from an unknown number. My breath hitched when I read the message. I had so many questions swirling through my mind.

The stalker is in school! What is going on?

I read the message again and again to make sure my mind was not playing tricks on me.

It read, 'That guy Ace surely did want to kiss you. I agree with Alec and Nora. Oh and beware the clock is ticking. Tick tock, tick tock...'
