Avni stopped the car in the middle of the road. She was in a bad state. She turned off the engine and cried bitterly hugging the steering wheel.

Avni: Why? Why is this happening with me?...... Am I really a burden on Neil? Did he really marry me out of pity?

She cried loudly trying to take out her pain.

Avni: All this is my fault. Had I not fallen for Rohan, I would've never felt like this. I hate myself for falling in love. I hate myself!
She cried again...

She stepped out of her car and noticed her surroundings. She was unfamiliar to the place. She was so lost in her emotions that she did not notice what path she had taken. She looked here and there, but could not spot anyone. Even her phone was in her cabin.

Just then she heard a speeding car approaching towards her and the car stopped just behind her car. She turned around and found Neil coming out of the car.

As soon as he stepped out of his car, he ran towards her and took her into a bone crushing hug.

She was startled at his sudden action. Soon she felt something wet on her shoulders.

Avni: Neil!

Neil: Pata hai kitna dar gya tha main. I thought that I'll loose you. Please, don't ever do this again.

Avni: Neil, I'm fine. Please calm down.

He broke the hug and held her shoulders.

Neil: What happened? Why did you run away like this?

Avni: Nothing.

Neil: Avni, you can't lie to me.

Avni: I'll tell you but later on. Can we please go home?

Neil nodded his head. He turned around to go towards his car but Avni held his hand.
He turned around.

Neil: What happened?

Avni: Can we please go to your farmhouse? I want to stay alone with you for sometime. We have a lot to talk about.

Neil felt strange and thought what does she want to talk about?

Neil: OK! Come we'll leave.

Avni nodded and sat in the car.

Neil(to himself): She looks so pale. Her eyes clearly tell that she has cried a lot. I hope she just tells me everything.

They drove towards the farmhouse. It was a 2 hour long drive but none of them spoke. Avni sat still and expressionless. Every passing second was unbearable for Neil as he was tensed for Avni and her behavior was doing no good to him.

They reached their and it was dark by then. Neil took the keys from the watchman and opened the door. They stepped in.

Neil: Avu kuch to bol. Mujhe dar lag raha hai please.
He said pleadingly.
(Please say something Avu. I'm getting scared)

Avni: Let's go to the terrace. We'll talk there.
Saying this she started climbing up the stairs. Neil followed her.

The terrace was dark. The only source of light was moonlight. Cool breeze was flowing.

Avni: Main Jo bhi poochoon uska sach-sach jawab dena. OK?
(Answer whatever I ask you.OK?)

Neil: Of course.

Avni: Then tell me why did you marry me?

Neil was left stunned.
