Bebe: Now tell us. What happened? You can lie to Avni but not your mother.

Ashish gets tensed and worried.

Ashish: Bebe vo....
and starts crying.

Bebe: Why are you crying? You're scaring me.
Bebe asked tensed.

Prakash held Ashish by shoulders to give him support and patted his back gently and gestured him to continue.

Ashish: Bebe, I got a call....fr..fro..from.. Rohan.

Shweta: What call? What did he say? Please bhai sahab tell fast.

Ashish: He said that his company has  got a big project. For that he has to leave for London...... TONIGHT.

Shweta: What! He will leave Avni alone right after wedding!!!

Ashish shook his head and said,

Ashish: No! He said he can't get married to her today. Avni will have to wait for next month.

Bebe: What!!!

Prakash: How is this possible Ashish. If he can back off just an hour before the wedding, what is the guarantee that he'll marry her later on?

Bebe: The society never respects a girl who is left alone on her wedding day.

Shweta: How will everyone react?  People will question my daughter's character. They will badmouth her. How will my bachcha face all this?
Shweta said crying bitterly.

After a few moments, Ashish spoke,

Ashish: Bebe, Prakash, Shweta Ji
He said folding his hands in front of them.

Ashish: You all consider Avni as your daughter right?
Everyone nodded.

Ashish: Will you make her you daughter-in-law? Will you get my daughter married to your son?
He asked helplessly.

All three of them looked at each other. Shweta was happy that finally God listened to her prayers. But, she was unsure of Avni's reaction.

Shweta smiled and held Ashish's folded hands.
Shweta:  We'll feel blessed to have a daughter-in-law like Avni.

Bebe: Yes. Shweta is right. But, what about Tillu?

Shweta: Don't worry Bebe. He'll agree happily. I know my son.

Ashish: Then, let's call him.

Prakash: No Ashish. We'll get him and get a proper baraat for our bahu.

Everyone smiled. But there was someone who was crying silently. She listened to the whole conversation.
Yes, it was Avni!

She could not control herself much and ran to Ashish and hugged him tight.

Ashish was startled by this sudden action of his princess. He could feel her pain. He knew that he was taking the most important decision of his daughter's life without her consent.

Avni broke the hug and looked into Ashish's eyes which were glassy. She held his hands and said, I trust you dad! I know you'll never make a wrong decision for me.

Everyone smiled. Shweta caressed her head.

Shweta: I want my bachcha to smile at her wedding.
Avni smiled a bit.

The three of them left for home immediately, afterall it was their only son's wedding.

They reached home. Prakash got busy in instructing the servants for all the post-marriage rituals. While Shweta insisted on talking to Neil alone. Bebe agreed.

Shweta entered Neil's room to find him sleeping. She caressed his hair. He stirred in sleep and woke up with a jerk.

Neil: Mom, why are you here? You should be with Avni. She needs you.

Shweta: No, She needs YOU!!

Neil: What?

Shweta told him everything.

Neil: Does Avni agree to marry me?

Shweta: Yes! Right now she is disturbed but I know your love will heal her. Just give it some time, even she'll love you.

Neil was not able to believe anything. He thought he is still dreaming. He picked up the jug placed on his bedside table and poured it over himself.

Neil: I'm not dreaming! Its true! I'll get married to my Avni.
He said excitedly. He hugged Shweta tightly and kissed her cheek and ran towards the bathroom to get ready.

Shweta: Paagal ladka!!
