Ashish: Princess, wake up.

Avni: Papa, please let me sleep.

Ashish: Avni, tumhari shaadi mein 1 hafta bacha hai. Kal se saare functions start ho rahe hain, tumhe aaj designer se bhi to milna hai na.

Avni got up with a jerk.

Avni: Oh haan. Agar aaj uss designer ne dresses nhi di na, to main uska murder kardoongi.

Ashish: But for that you need to get ready. Main bahar jaa rha hoon, caterer se milna hai. You take care.
He kisses her forehead and leaves.

She got ready and picked up her phone to call Neil.

Ringing....

Neil: Hello. Kya kaam hai?

Avni: So rude Neil. Main naraaz hoon. Aise kaun baat karta hai apne best friend se?

Neil: Fine, to raho naraaz.

He ends the call.

Avni POV: Neil ko hua kya hai? Poora hafta kaam mein busy tha isliye ignore kar rha tha. Par aaj achanak aisa kya ho gaya ki itna rudely baat ki.

Neil's office

Neil: Aap sure hain. Kya koi aur raasta nhi hai?

Ashish: Nahi beta. Vo log maan hi nhi rahe hain. Unka kehna hai ki ya to Avni apne hisse ke shares Rohan k naam karde ya phir shaadi ke baad kaam na kare.

Neil: Uncle, aap abhi bhi soch lijiye. Avni ki shaadi uss ghar mein karna zaroori hai kya? Unki aur humari thinking bilkul alag hai.

Ashish: Darr to mujhe bhi hai beta. Par Rohan ki vajah se jo khushi Avni ke chehre par aati haina usse dekh kar sab kuch bhool jaata hoon. Pata hai agar rohan uski life mein na aata to main uski shaadi tumse karwa deta.

This triggered Neil's emotions that he had suppressed from the past one week. He excused himself and went to the washroom.

He immediately closed the door behind him when he reached the washroom. He sat against the washroom door and cried bitterly.
It wasn't easy for him to move on. He never realized that the feelings which he had termed just as a mere crush would turn out to be his true love for her.
But he had to move on. She was happy so he also had to be happy.
He composed himself because he had another task at hand.

He knew how passionate Avni was regarding her career. He had to talk to Rohans parents and also make them understand that the company shares were an investment for her secure future.

Neil: Stop crying Neil. You need to get things sorted. You need to convince Rohans parents anyhow. You have to do this for Avu. Its time to prove your friendship.
Tomorrow the functions are starting. I'll talk to them tomorrow.

He got up and washed his face and got back to work.

As soon as he got back to his table, he messaged Avni:

Sorry Avu for being rude in the morning. Work pressure you know. I hope you'll understand. Take care. I'll see you tomorrow.😊

Soon he got her reply:

Avni: its OK . I understand. But don't forget to get me chocolates.😋.

He smiled after Reading her message and resumed his work.
