Shekhar sees his family who were looking at him like if he is some Alien.
Shekhar: why are you people looking at me like that?
Sanskar smiles seeing Ragini's reaction like if she gulped the sour lemon!

Shekhar:Yes.. beta when will you make your parents meet us?
Sanskar:they might reach hereby night!
Shekhar nods:pappu let's go and make Poori Bhaaji. sanskar pappu is really a good cook.
Shekhar drags pappu and swarna inside the kitchen karthik and naira too follows them.

Ragini:SR.. what magic you did?
Sanskar:same magic which i did to you.
She passes him a look
Sanskar:really!!!

Flashback

Shekhar: I won't share the bed with him.
Swarna: don't do the drama now? What will he think of you? If you love your daughter then please behave yourself.
She goes.

Shekhar enters the room and finds Sanskar watching the photographs in wall.
Which had Ragini's childhood pictures.
Sanskar turns to him and smiles.
Shekhar smiles stretching his lips and turns to bed:from the time he came by smiling my lips started to ache!

Sanskar gets the call:yes Rithik...
Shekhar sees him.
Sanskar turns to his laptop :i sent you the mail. Ask prithvi to help with the graphics... (After pause)for that we have to wait.and of course we can do it!
Shekhar himself:what? Only he has work?with the dubba english.
Since sanskar talking in english
He picks the phone and acts of calling someone: it's the very important design of the engine and yeah.. we are using it for the next model.
Sanskar looks at him who was talking with Rithik:okay rithik.. bye!
It was when Shekhar's phone rings making him caught red handed.
Shekhar smiles sheepishly:phone was disconnected may be!
Sanskar just nods.

Sanskar:you were the rank holder in engineering at your times?
Shekhar sees his hanging certificate on the wall and just nods.
Sanskar:Ragini also followed your steps.
Shekhar nods.
Sanskar turns to a photograph where little Ragini was playing in the swimming pool:it would have been very difficult for you to build a swimming pool in such a short span of time right?
Shekhar looks at him.
Sanskar turns to him:Ragini had told me.
Sanskar:Ragini always says there was a special warmth in your shoes.she used to walk around even now she loves to wear your slippers.
Shekhar looks at him and himself:he is fooling you don't fall don't fall.
Shekhar just nods!

Sanskar:your 2 AM noodles, Ragini used to miss it in college days. Even i was jealous of you and learnt making noodles but still she didn't like as you. And one day teach me with your special recipe.
Shekhar himself:thoda thoda accha hai.haan???he is trying to trap you shekhar don't fall!!

Sanskar:it was very difficult for you to send Ragini to the imperial college right?
Shekhar looks at him.
Sanskar:and i am grateful that you sent her because i could meet Amazing person like her. I know that you don't like me.
Shekhar looks on
Sanskar:Ragini wanted to back off from the relation.
He smiles:to be frank i was upset. Upset that she couldn't understand my love. She want to leave my hand at last. But i really love her, i came here to talk to you to convince you. But i am giving up now!
Shekhar looks at him, don't know why his words were directly pricking his heart and making him emotional!

Sanskar: Ragini is emotionally attached to you even this day i told that i will convince you. But i realised that is it easy for a random guy to separate a daughter from the loving and the best dad in the world?
Shekhar didn't say a word. That was not new too.
Sanskar: it's easy for a guy like me because i am no where leaving my parents. But the fact is my mum is an IT officer so she would be going for her work. Nearly 2-3 times i meet her in the month. Dad stays along with her.my parents knew that i can stay without them and I have the habit of staying alone.but Ragini don't,even if she stayed in hostel she missed you a lot.each day i met her she had so much to talk about you. And you, it's difficult for trust an unknown guy. And now she is in tears that she can't choose one from us.so i am backing off myself I don't want to see her in more trouble and in morning i will leave from here.
Shekhar gulped his salaiva and had no words and himself:is he really fooling me?

Sanskar:most of the people including my parents say i have good speaking skills,you may think i am using this now but i don't want to hide because some day you should not feel i trapped you,they say this because i have made my words true and I don't speak cheesy things. i can tell you all this being confident. So still i want to give a last try, Your daughter have become an integral part of my life. May be not as much you but i love her, I can't define how much, like others do but i do.. i do love her so much. I can assure you that if you give me your daughter then i will keep her happy, if some day she is sad though if I couldn't cheer her but i promise i would be with her. I and Ragini have promised of not fighting instead we will talk and clear the problems. I trust that we can do it. You have to give me a chance may be i am not best or perfect for your daughter. But i can be the better partner.
He stops and after a pause:if you feel i am not good for your daughter then you can tell me directly. Trust me i won't come to her path. I am not the one for my own selfish need for my love i would marry your daughter without your wish. If i am not in her life, some days she might be sad and later she would move on. If you are not in her life,no matter what i do but she can never move on in her entire life.
After a pause:because more than me she loves you!

There was only silence.
Sanskar puts his laptop in his bag and was about to move out....
Shekhar:wait..
Sanskar turns to him.
Shekhar:where are you going?
Sanskar smiles:every home has a master bedroom.thats always a mom and dad's room. If some random guy comes to my home then my moral would never let him to take that room not for a night, not for an hour too.i said this because aunty insisted she would have felt bad if i denied to it... And i will wait for your reply!

He moves out and sits on sofa doing his work.
Actually he wasn't doing the work.he wanted him to be distracted,because whatever he told it was the truth.he can't steal someone's daughter.

Shekhar:fooling me?accha okay let me fall on his trap.
He smiles on himself:he is really the one for my daughter.
He remembers him saying he is not.but he was wrong?

After sometime....

Sanskar was sleeping in the sofa.
When his sleep breaks and he opens his eyes and finds shekhar standing there.
Shekhar smiles: i didn't tried to know about you but since Ragini loves the noodles i also got it and i thought i should share you the secret recipe of this special noodles.because whenever Ragini is sad i make it for her at 2 AM.and in my absence you should know to make it right!
Sanskar smiles and stood when shekhar hugs him.and pats on to his back!

Both sits.
Shekhar:my imagination was blank that who would be perfect for my daughter. I thought he should be rich..then next i felt he should have good personality like an actor and then i thought he should be the person there shouldn't be any other like him.but i never thought on such point that my daughter can have better taste than me.and see she proved it.and i think I won't find the person like you for Ragini.may there would more rich or handsome person but not the who could love her more than you?
Sanskar smiles:Thankyou for trusting me.

Shekhar: let's celebrate..
He forwards the bowl of noodles.
And both haves the noodles
Sanskar:truly you make the best noodles.
Shekhar:hai na?
Sanskar smiles.

Sanskar:one more thing i want to tell you...
Shekhar smiles and sees him.
Sanskar opens the laptop and there was picture of his parents:they are my parents.
Shekhar looks at it but couldn't identify.since it was too long:they are familiar but i can't....
Seeing chaaru,shekhar:chaaru?
Sanskar nods:yes my dad Niel Maheshwari and my mom Chaaru Maheshwari.
Shekhar smiles:you are niel and chaaru's son?i should have expected it
Sanskar looks at him.as he didn't expect such kind of reaction.

Shekhar:my God...after these many years?
Sanskar:you aren't upset with them my parents have explained me the past..
Shekhar nods:i am upset.But not more because(he laughs)with that he completed my love story.
Sanskar looks at him.

Shekhar:haan..you know i loved Swarna secretly.she was our neighbor.but my dad was too strict and i had to agree for the marriage.Chaaru had told of her interests on this marriage.when i only couldn't solve my problem then how i supposed to help her out.but seriously i didn't knew it was niel.just before they elope i was planning to say about my love with your mother so together we could do something but before that your dad...
He just nods his head:such big nuthead bhulakkad he was...

Shekhar:but by that i could marry swarna which till now pappu blackmails me saying how rascal i was to my children actually swarna only know half truth that's what he blackmails but it's also fun i let pappu do that with me because he is something without his talks my day won't be good.and may be with niel and chaaru's help my life's problem was solved!
Sanskar laughs:so both side had the story.dad gets scared of you till now.
Shekhar:now he forgets or not..
Sanskar: don't ask he forgets mom too sometimes but he didn't forget you.from the time he knew Ragini is your daughter.he lives in fear still.
Shekhar laughs:he should... sorry but i have been too much tough on him.he was been such a bondhu.sorry again but i use to call him bondhu buddhu duffer..
Sanskar: despite that still you saved him from punishments and written exams?
Shekhar:arey yaar..he was such innocent those times that i only felt bad.actually i saw him in art club in Mumbai few years back.i was really happy knowing that he turned responsible.your dada ji had asked me to help him out with studies.but niel was like...anyways i am happy that all his earning of art goes to his uncle's foundation.dont know why i feel proud that.as niel is the same person now once i written his exam.

Sanskar smiles.it was really a good time with Shekhar as shekhar was more like a friend to him.and a free person.

Sanskar:my mom used to say that you were the campus crush of your times.
Shekhar: don't ask..if see my picture now i look like a villain of 70's film..no no actually the one who comes behind the villain.
Shekhar laughs:between all this past have one witness that's pappu.he takes the advantage always and yeah somewhat everyone used to admire I won't deny.but inside i was the scared son of strict father.
Sanskar smiles.
Shekhar:and somewhat i heard you also being the Campus Crush.
Sanskar:Same as you uncle i don't know why they consider.sometimes i got pissed!
They just talks about their college life for sometime...

Sanskar:uncle...are you sure you are not upset with my mom dad?
Shekhar:no...but i won't if in that moment i got him in my hand.i would have suffocated him to death.butwith time and age i realised i bullied him a lot.daily he got beaten up by me.so it was hisab barabar.
Sanskar smiles: uncle you are really cool when i got to know this i had told him mein tho dhoondke maarta.
Shekhar: don't tell him about all this. I want to have some fun. I want to feel how it is to be aged bully!
Sanskar nods: definitely.i want to feel those now!
Shekhar smiles:you will enjoy it!

And they just keeps on talking and they didn't realise the time...it was morning.
And gets fresh Sanskar wears the sports suit.
While shekhar:do you think i can do?
Sanskar:why not?my papa does.and you were the Campus Crush then!!
They goes for the jogging.
Shekhar:but I didn't do earlier too..
Sanskar:but you will do it now.you would be healthy!

Where sharma ji was passing by:arey shekhar..who is this guy?
Shekhar smiles and placing his hand on sanskar and smiles proudly:my future Son-in-law!
Sanskar smiles.
Sharma ji mocking:beti degree ke saath ladka bhi le aayi kya?
Shekhar smiles:haan meri beti hai hi kaabil. She knows what is best for her.and she made me tension free now!
Sharma ji's smiles vanishes.
Shekhar:Sanskar you go take a round.i will be here.
Sanskar nods and goes: next round you would join no reasons allowed!

Sharma ji:my daughter pari would never do this.mein jo bhi ladka dikhaunga usi se shaadi karegi haan nai tho...
Shekhar:accha..okay but my daughter got the best guy.i would have not got even if search.
Sharma: don't cover your annoyance!

Shekhar sees Sanskar jogging:would i get a son-in-law who can be my night chitchat friend.
Sharma looks at him.
Shekhar:arey wah i remembered all my college school days.i never said all this to anyone till now.
Sharma: it's all that he is fooling you.
Shekhar gets annoyed:shut up.
Sharma gets scared.
Shekhar: I won't listen anything against my son-in-law he is one in the million billion trillion.

Sharma little jealoua:haan he is handsome.
Shekhar:do you know he is hard working and growing the technology.
Sharma gets more than little jealous.
Shekhar:besides that he knows to respect elders and with time he can be friend too.and not to forget he loves my daughter so much then what should i expect?everything is good.
Sharma:haan haan okay..if there is any brother of his?i mean i have my pari too.she is also no less then anyone.
Shekhar:you know what you should only show a guy.afterall my daughter got a guy with degree.you should not look for it.
Sharma:i was just joking no?
Shekhar:but unfortunately he is the only one!

Sharma pouts:no problem i will get the best match for pari you will just keep watching.
Shekhar:will see if my son-in-law is best or your's?
Sharma:tu tho dekhte reh jayega dekh lena.
Shekhar:zaroor dekhoonga...
When Sanskar comes and shekhar joins and explains him about the conversation had with sharma.sanskar just smiles.

Flashback ends....

It was when breakfast was served.
Everyone were xonfused.shekhar was still talking with Sanskar.
And Sanskar didn't say to Ragini too...
Ragini was also confused.but they were really happy.
Finally everything is solved!
