Yessssss!!! 13th birthday, Valentines Day, camping in the desert, everything was going my way today. Yet, I wanted something more. Something that could make the day sparkle.
We got to Agua Caliente and I started unpacking, taking things into our cabin. Then I saw my friend Meghan coming toward me.
"Haley!" she yelled and gave me a big hug. "Happy birthday!!! Do you need any help unpacking?" "Sure, thanks," I said and we finished unpacking the car.
About ten minutes later my best friend Alex came and my other friend Christina. The four of us went over to the stream. We sorta just walked around for a while. I hadn't been here for a year and I wanted to refresh my brain a little.
We went over to Meghan's cabin. I like to hang out over there because her mom always has great food. Today she had out brownies, sodas, and Valentine's Day cookies to decorate. Everything was delicious. I wish my mom made more junk food.
Meghan's dad had brought their hammock. It felt so good to sit in. we relaxed there and listened to music and sang for a while.
