I remember camping last year. We had so much fun. We go camping every Presidents Day weekend at this little place called Agua Caliente. I spent time with my friends Hope, Haley, Liv, Lindsey, Caitlin and Alexandra, who we often called Alex.
This was kinda confusing because my brother's name was also Alex. I happened to know a lot of people named Alex. But I wasn't thinking about names right now. I was thinking about camping. I wanted to have the best trip ever.
This would be hard to top because I thought I had had the best camping trip ever last year. I had my first sleepover in a tent, stole and buried a football from boys, ate a bunch of s'mores and had almost pranked someone(which I hoped to continue this year).
Then I had an idea. I knew it was kinda late for this, but I might as well give it a shot. I knew Caitlin wasn't coming this year. But I knew someone who could come.
"Mom," I asked, "Can I bring a friend camping with us?" "If you can find one that's not busy this weekend," she said.
"Yes!!!" I thought in my mind. Yes yes yes!!!
