A/N- This next part is, well, confusing. Please stay with me though the, uh, lovey dovey stuff. It's nearing the end of the series and I want lovey dovey stuff. Sorry for the people who don't! Enjoy and Happy Reading!

BTW, Rick's characters belong to him. Mine belong to me.

Leo POV

YES!!!! Finally I get to the exciting part! Mishizzle man here! Yay... Clover sees her family again, big whoop and all *rolls eyes*. We are now going to get to the awesome tension in the camp. Let’s just say that the campers aren’t, well, happy campers when it came to the new kids coming in. *snickers at own joke* Ow! Fine Clover, I will try to be serious about it, but seriously, it was HILARIOUS!! Okay, let’s get the party started.....

“Leo! I need to get inside!” called Clover from outside the bunker. I turned off the blowtorch I had been using and set it down on the Argo II’s deck. I hopped down from the Argo II and walked over to the door. I pushed the button and the door began to take shape. The door opened and Clover was standing on the dead grass with three people. I recognized one of them as her sister, Zoe Turner, holding hands with another girl. On the left side of Clover was a boy, about nine or ten, who had his mouth hanging open. The girl, whose hand Zoe was holding, had her mouth hanging open as well. Clover walked inside and kissed Leo on the cheek.

“How’s work?” she made it sound like we were a married couple, which made me smile.

“Just fine sweetheart. Who are your friends here?” I gestured to the other kids. The girl who held Zoe’s hand looked like she was about to faint. The boy Clover had brought with her was looking away, covering his eyes. Clover laughed.

“Carl, you don’t have to cover your eyes. I was kidding.” The kid, Carl, moved his fingers out of the way and looked at us, as if we were going to start making out. I decided not to look at him and look at the other girl.

“You look like a pretty young girl,” I said, “what’s your name?” I asked, holding out my hand. The girl took it and shook it pretty forcefully.

“My name is Amanda. Are you Leo Valdez?” I was surprised that they already knew my name, but I shrugged it off and nodded. Amanda whispered something to Zoe, then the two girls laughed.

“Amanda, Zoe, be nice. It isn’t polite to whisper.” I turned to her,

“Are these your, uh...” I didn’t need to finish.

“Yep” Clover said, popping the p. “These are my siblings.” she started to introduce them, pointing to them in turn, “This is Carl Walters, son of Hermes. That is Amanda Grove, daughter of Dionysus. And you know Zoe Turner, daughter of Aphrodite. I think out of all of them, you will get along with Carl the best.” Clover nodded to Carl and he pulled out a figure from his pocket. It wasn’t made of all of thing, it was made of fifty or so pieces of legos. I smiled,

“So you like to build things?” Carl nodded his head. “Well, I bet you would like this place.” I gestured around me at Bunker 9. “It has all kinds of things to build.” I turned to Clover, who was holding my hand, “I wonder why he isn’t the son of Hephaestus? He would fit perfect.” Clover shivered.

“That would be creepy. I mean, my brother would be your half brother, and with you and me dating....” she didn’t need to finish. I now was pretty embarrassed about the suggestion.

(Shut your mouth Clover! I knew it was a weird comment, but I don’t need it rubbed in my face! *sighs and shakes head*)  I shook the comment off by asking the kids,

“You guys want to see the Argo II?” All of their eyes lit up like a bonfire.

“Really?” asked Amanda, who looked so shocked she might pass out. I nodded,

“Yep. The best part is you are getting it from Leo Valdez!” Clover laughed and tugged on my sleeve.

“Come on Repair boy, show them already!” I nodded and motioned for the kids to follow me and they did. But before I could even reach the Argo II, I heard someone running up toward the bunker’s entrance. I looked back and saw Chiron galloping toward us. Clover let go of me and her siblings followed our gaze. When they set eyes on Chiron, I thought they would scream and hide, but they just smiled and waved.

“Hi Chiron!” said Carl, looking up to see Chiron’s face. Chiron smiled, but it seemed a little forced. He looked at Clover and me with worry, as if he needed lots of help.

“We need  you two to come to the cabins. We have some..... problems.” I could tell by his tone that the problems were more like emergencies. I nodded and looked at the other kids.

“Sorry guys, but we have to go. Chiron, could you give the kids a ride?” Chiron looked reluctant to do so, but he allowed them to get up onto his back. Chiron took off back to camp with the three kids on his back. Clover looked at me with concern, as if they were about to walk into a huge problem that neither one of us could fix. I smiled reassuringly, but I knew Clover could tell it was fake. We turned and ran off back to camp, hopefully to stop something major from happening.

***

Okay, when the Aphrodite girls get in a fight, you know it will end badly. Clover and I burst through the tree line and stopped in our tracks. Drew, former head counselor of Aphrodite, had a curling iron raised above her head, about to hit a girl who had arrived on the bus. Clover and I ran up to them and I stepped in front of the girl. Drew swung the curling iron, but I caught it. At that very moment, I was super glad I had fire powers. The curling iron felt like hot water on my skin, but it didn’t burn me.

“Drew! Stop it!” I snarled. Drew sneered at me and tried to yank the iron out of my hands.

“This girl deserves it!” she cried and pulled the iron out of my hands. Clover kicked the hair curler out of her hands and held her shoulders.

“Why? She just arrived and you are trying to hurt her!” Drew pulled away and tried to pick up the iron. She grabbed the wrong part, the hot part, and pulled her hand away.

“She said that Piper is ‘extraordinarily nice’! Piper is a huge jerk! She took the head counselor spot from me!” I looked at her in shock, disbelief, and anger.

“That’s it?! You are going to hurt a girl with a curling iron because she has a different opinion from you?” I was so ticked off, I might have spilled some cuss words right there in front of her, but Clover grabbed my arm. My anger subsided a little bit, but I was still mad.

(You have to agree with me Clover! She was being a nasty jerk! *scowls and accidentally sets hair on fire* Ah crap! *snuffs out flame* Okay, back to the stupid story....)

“Drew, back off from her.” Clover said, putting her hand out like a jedi, as if she could push Drew back with the force.

(Ow! No need to hit Clover! *she glares at him and punches him again* OW!! Fine! Do it your way!)

Drew sneered at her, and I noticed something different about her. Her eyes seemed to be a different color. I couldn’t remember what color they were before, but they were different, I was sure of it. Chiron came galloping into the argument and towered over Drew.

“My dear, may we please have a talk in the Big House?” he lead Drew away, with many spectators following. I turned to the girl on the ground and held out my hand. The girl took it and I helped her stand. She wiped away the tears on her cheeks.

“Thank you,” she said, shifting feet. “I would have been a grease spot on the ground if you guys didn’t interfere.” I noticed that she was looking at my hand, as if it were from another planet. I looked down at it and realized that it was the hand I caught the curling iron with. It was perfectly fine, which was the problem. Clover noticed the girl’s look as well and said,

“Oh yeah, about that.... Well, let’s just start with introductions.” she gestured to herself, “My name is Clover Brooks,” then she put an arm around my shoulders, “and this is Leo Valdez. What is your name?” The girl shifted from foot to foot.

“Natalie Jenkins, daughter of.....” she gestured to the pink cabin behind us. I looked at it, then back at her.

“Aphrodite huh? Well, I will tell you right away, some of the girls in there are-” I twirled my finger beside my temple, showing that they were crazy. Natalie smirked.

“Thanks. I will, uh, see you around?” Clover nodded and started to pull me toward the Big House’s path.

“Come on Repair boy, we need to see through that Drew get’s what she deserves.” Before I could answer, Clover pulled me away from the girl. I leaned in closer to her ear and whispered,

“Did you see Drew’s eyes? It was like she was in a trance.” Clover nodded slowly, as if she were thinking about it as fast as her brain could go. I was glad I had a smart girlfriend.

“You think someone in the camp is taking control over the campers?” she asked me. I shrugged.

“You’re the smart one.” Clover rolled her eyes,

“I was asking your opinion! Jeez... who would want to do that?” I shrugged.

“Someone new?” Clover bit her lip, for the third time today.

“I’m not sure. I will have to talk to Chiron about it.” Clover didn’t speak a while after that. We walked down the path, kicking rocks and watching them skip down the path.

“I wonder if it is a practical joke. That would be really cool!” I said. Clover looked at me with a smile. I saw her eyes go from stormy gray to bright blue. Her eyes did that sometimes, like when she is happy, her eyes are blue. When she is mad, or thinking about something, they turn stormy gray, like a thunderstorm flashing in the sky. Sometime I swear that I see lightning flash in her eyes.

“Ha ha! I doubt that would be the reason, but it still is a possibly.” Her eyes turned back into thunderstorms as she thought harder about it. Clover looked up from staring at her feet and looked at the baby blue house we were heading towards.

“Leo,” she said uneasily, as if she were about to tell me something I didn’t want to know. “Promise me that you will remember the times we had.” I looked at her like she was crazy.

“How could I forget them?” I asked sarcastically, but Clover didn’t smile. Before I could press her on the matter, someone screamed. Clover’s expression changed completely as she looked around. I turned in a circle and spotted something. A pegasus was rearing up on two legs, about to kick some of the new kids doing stable cleaning. Clover and I ran toward them as fast as we could, but the pegasus was a step ahead of us. It kicked one of the kids and the camper fell to the ground. The pegasus was about to do more damage, but we made it there in time. Clover stepped in front of the horse and started to talk to it.

“Woh!! Settle down! Easy...” Clover looked the horse in the eye, and it seemed to calm down. I noticed that the color of the horse’s eyes were and odd yellow color. Then I realized that that was the color Drew’s eyes were! I herded the new campers away from the horse and bent down to examine the injured kid. The new camper had a huge bruise on his arm, and possibly a broken arm at that, but it would heal easily. Hopefully. I looked back at Clover, but she was just fine. She had herded the pegasus into it’s stable and was closing the door. She dusted off her hands and walked over to me. She knelt down next to the camper.

“You will be just fine.” she said reassuringly. The new camper calmed down and I turned to one of the campers,

“Go get help.” I told them. Three or so ran off toward the big house to alert Chiron or some other person. I looked at Clover and she looked pretty pale.

“Hey, are you okay?” I asked, pulling a strand of blond hair out of her face. She nodded, but I didn’t believe her.

“Yeah. I’m.... just shaken up.” I looked up and saw Chiron running toward us as fast as he could. He bent down and picked up the camper.

“This is getting way too serious. Leo, Clover, you need to figure out who is causing all of this damage and hurt.” We both nodded with understanding and Chiron trotted off to the infirmary with a few Apollo kids in tow. Clover turned to me and looked at me with her gray eyes.

“We are going to need help.” she said. I nodded.

“Badly.” and with that, Clover and I ran toward the Zeus cabin.
