It was Christmas Eve. The boys were spending Christmas Eve at the McClain's house and Christmas at the Kogane's.

They wore matching ugly sweaters. After dinner, they exchanged gifts. Keith would open his on Christmas Eve and Lance would open his on Christmas day.

"Here." Lance said, passing a wrapped box to Keith. He unwrapped the box carefully.

"Just rip it off!" Lance groaned.

"I like taking my time, Lance."

Lance laughed. "Ok, whatever, Keith."

It was a shirt. Keith read it out loud. "World's OK-est Counselor." He laughed. "I love it."

"I love you." Lance leaned over and kissed his cheek.

"I love you, too."

It was Christmas Day. Lance woke up at 6 and pestered Keith until he woke up.

"Keith- it's Christmas!"

Keith groaned. "Yeah, Lancey-pants. That's how the calendar works."

Lance sighed. "Fine." He rolled back into bed and put an arm over Keith, curling back into position around Keith.

When they woke up again, it was 9. "Can we get up yet?"

"Yep." Keith said. It was adorable- they had matching pajamas the Kogane's provided. "Let's go open shit."

"Yes!" Lance cheered.

When they came down the stairs, Mrs. Kogane had just made pancakes. They ate as a family with Lance telling stories about the time that he got a Barbie for Christmas when he was seven.

"That's probably when my parents knew I was gay."

Keith laughed. "I was into transformers."

"Yeah, Keith- I've seen the shelf in your room."

When they finished breakfast, they gathered around the Christmas tree.

"Here." Mr. Kogane said, handing Lance a stocking. "It wouldn't be fair if you didn't get one."

Lance grinned. "Thank you."

They pulled the items out one at a time. "Just a warning." Keith started. "There is always some weird presents in there."

A toothbrush, an orange, a pack of ballpoint pens, a PEZ dispenser, individually wrapped caramels and Hershey's kisses, an Amazon gift card.

Lance was grinning. "This is awesome- thank you."

The Koganes smiled. 

"Ok-" Keith said, grabbing a package. "This is for you."

Lance ripped open the wrapping paper. It was a small box and inside was a zippo with his face on it."

"Get it?" Keith asked.

"Because you think I'm hot?"

"Something like that."

"Well now I'm the master of campfires."

"Yeah." Keith agreed. "Something like that."
